!!! their wedding coordinator and matre d’s brought my dream wedding (which i thought was impossible and out of my budget) to life!!! It was everything I dreamed of and more!!! One of my biggest anxiety’s was how all the decor was going to come together and they KILLED IT and supplied so much of the decor, it’s amazing!!!!! They made everything possible from a PIE BAR to a GRAND SPARKLER EXIT and it was all PERFECT!!! We had 168 guests and they have not stopped talking about how perfect and beautiful our wedding was!!! Even the Dj (RJ), photographers that come with their off season package are to DIEEEEE FOR 😍😍😍😍😍  I cannot stop reliving the day over and over and it’s all thanks to Birchwoods and their team!!!! need is right there at your fingertips, the photographer, the DJ, the cake, the centerpieces there’s nothing that you’ll need With them there. Trish is absolutely amazing pleasant, sweet, kind, caring detail orientated always there for you no matter what. Gina is an absolute star of the show. She made sure everything was perfect. She made sure we had drinks. She held my drinks while the photographer was taking our pictures outside. She’s absolutely amazing. There’s nothing that she would not have done. She made everything outstanding and perfect. The food I still have people texting me three days later who cooked this where did you get that. It’s just the best food. Every single staff member was pleasant helpful had a smile did anything you asked them to absolutely a pleasure it was the best wedding I’ve ever had been to, even though it’s mine it was still the best ever and if you ever have to plan, a party or a baby shower or a birthday party or anything you need to use them they are absolutely 100% the best.

with Fall foliage, just stunning. The hot and cold appetizers were delicious during the cocktail hour which was held in the downstairs hall. Not a small detail in the reception hall was missed, from the linens to food. The food served buffet style was just delicious! The day ended with an ice cream and espresso martini bar, just spectacular! I highly recommend Birchwoods for all your wedding needs. The venue and staff are truly amazing in everything they do and offer!

Also, her pricing is extremely competitive. Cannot recommend Trish and Birchwoods enough!

The venue itself is beautiful, the golf course made a gorgeous backdrop for pictures and overall esthetic. 5 stars across the board!!!

the entire wedding planning process and was so flexible regarding any of our requests. Trish and Gina also ensured that the day of ran so smoothly, which was something I appreciated deeply. I cannot thank Gina enough for taking my wedding decor vision and blowing it out of the park!!!! Seeing the reception area after it was all decorated brought me to tears. I genuinely thought I was going to be a nervous wreck on my wedding but I knew I was in phenomenal hands with the Birchwoods team! Oh and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! From the appetizers to the entrees - the filet mignon is a work of art! Again, we truly cannot thank the team enough for making our big day the best day ever. As a thank you, we gifted our handmade arch to the venue and hope all the future couples of birchwoods enough this token of our gratitude and also have the wedding of their dreams!

ocation is gorgeous with the sunset view and rolling hills of the golf course, so perfect for pictures, and the food was amazing! Not your typical wedding fare. You can tell a lot of care went into the taste and presentation of every dish, whether appetizer or entree. Trish and Danielle were a dream to work with, so accommodating and professional, and the staff was attentive and friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. I loved the layout of the whole place whether it be the ballroom, bridal suite, access to outdoors, even the bathrooms: it was a comfortable yet elegant setting and easily accessible. I truly can't put into words just how EASY the whole experience was and how happy they made our family, friends, and especially my daughter on her big day.

quality experience in an intimate setting for a fair price- we looked all over NY and CT until we found The Birchwoods! The grounds are beautiful and the venue itself has everything you need for the event (including a variety of wedding decor!). The packages are customizable to ensure your wedding is exactly how you imagine it. Trish was amazing to work with and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. I truly felt that her first priority was always to help us have the wedding of our dreams, never to nickel and dime us or sneak in hidden charges. Especially with uncertainties of COVID, she was always willing to work with us and ensure our wedding was perfect. On our big day, everything went off without a hitch. The venue was decorated beautifully and the food was amazing. We had full use of the entire venue (which I highly recommend!) and had our ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour outdoors on the patio, and reception in the ballroom upstairs. There was also a back up indoor ceremony site if the weather did not cooperate (which put my mind at ease). Our guests enjoyed the bee deck off the ballroom to get some air during the reception as well. Having only one wedding at a time makes a significant difference on the overall experience. Overall, the Birchwoods is an exceptional venue and I could not have been happier to have had them host my wedding.

Gina was such great help we definitely needed her guidance and support. We got the package deal the photographer was very dedicated and paid attention to detail, and the DJ was very involved in making sure everything ran in a timely manner, along with keeping the dance floor packed. There is so much more I want to say about this beautiful venue and amazing staff but I will leave it at this you should definitely book your wedding with them!!!

Everything was just fantastic and I can’t say enough of the genuine support and help you get from the staff there. They helped the day go off without any problems. Trish and PJ made dealing with all this craziness so easy. They worked with us every step of the way and even without power at their own place, they made sure we had our small ceremony and did the best they could for us! Our ceremony was small with only immediate family, but so special for us. This speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. We decided to have our reception this year, August 14, 2021, and again Trish, PJ, and all their staff were amazing and accommodating. I can’t say enough amazing things about Birchwoods. It was an overall amazing experience and we were so thankful to have them on our side through all the craziness.

Trish is so caring and genuine and willing to help out in anyway, including decorations and centerpieces! She has such a fantastic rustic vision and our day was everything we could ever have imagined. She set us up with our photography(Russells Photography), photobooth, DJ (RJtheDJ), and Cake (Kim's Cottage Confections) and they were all the best decisions of our lives. On the actual day PJ and Gina were amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and never let our drinks go empty. I can't speak highly enough. All of our guests said this was one of the best weddings they have attended and the dance floor was never empty. Birchwoods makes you feel like family. Thank you for everything Trish and the whole team!

We toured the venue a few different times with various family members and Trish held our preferred wedding date, until we were finally able to make a deposit and sign the official contract! Planning a wedding through the pandemic was not easy, but Trish made so much of that stress disappear. The whole team at Birchwoods made our wedding so wonderful! I can’t thank Trish, PJ, and Gina enough for helping to make our wedding everything I hoped for! Our wedding guests all said it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to. We feel like family with the Birchwoods team, and we whole heartedly recommend them for a wedding venue!!

ed we were not IN LOVE with it. We were at a loss and figured we’d just keep touring and so we did. We met with Trish at Birchwoods in October 2019 and signed the contract THAT SAME DAY. I don’t know if it was Trish or the venue that sold us (probably both) but we were HOOKED. The excitement set in, because when you know, you know! Birchwoods is set on a golf course which we never thought would be our style but the grounds were beautiful. The ballroom and inside were completely stunning. The vibe is rustic but not too rustic like a barn. It was the perfect blend of rustic, elegant and simple. Trish has TONS of décor in her closet and allows you to use all of it which totally cuts cost as far as centerpieces, décor and also allows you to get ideas of what you might like! Working with Trish was so easy and pleasant, which made the process of postponing and picking a plan B date due to COVID very smooth. After hearing horror stories from other brides, I was so thankful that our venue was one of the good ones. We moved our date, stayed in touch and just stayed in contact. Our tasting finally came and it became real. All of my food allergies were accommodated and we set up our final meeting. We upgraded our package, met with Trish, gave our final payment, finalized our centerpieces, discussed décor and drop off and when our wedding day came, it was beyond what we even hoped for and expected. Trish and her team really outdid themselves. It was down pouring so we could not use the outdoor space for cocktail hour but she accommodated us downstairs. The Ballroom was stunning. Everything was done better than I could have imagined. All of the staff were so friendly, so fun and attentive. Our matre’d’s were amazing and none of us can stop talking about how amazing the venue was, how amazing the food was, how amazing the staff was, just EVERYTHING. I’m so thankful we chose Birchwoods for our wedding venue. I’m so thankful to have met Trish and worked with her. Birchwoods is affordable, elegant, and really perfect.

The food was DELICIOUS - so many of my guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the selelctions especially the appetizers and the lobster stuffed raviolis! The beef entree was so good!! During our reception the staff was very attentive and was ready to help when we needed anything! I can not express how happy I am with everything that Trish and her team did for us!
