RONG.
He completely ruined our wedding experience. We got married in October of 2023 and he left over 40 of our guests without food and tried to blame us for it. He "miscalculated" how much food he needed for 100 people but yet hes been in the food industry for 20+ years. We also paid $200 for an extra server for the day to make things as smooth as possible. Not only did they never show, but we never got a refund for them not showing up.
I chased David for a solid year for compensation he promised both me and my wife for his mistakes to the tune of $2500 and he had excuse after a excuse as to why this week or that week he couldnt give me even $50. Hes a scam artist.
The best decision you could ever make ESPECIALLY for a wedding is to STEER CLEAR of this man. See picture evidence below and I have far more where that came from. vent, the catering aspect of our wedding was pretty much a disaster. My husband had to reach out after they did not show up on time for our wedding. David claimed “medical emergency” and sent a colleague and his wife who showed up just as I was about to walk down the aisle and seemed pretty clueless regarding our expectations of the day. Food was not ready on time (mind you, they were over an hour late), was cold and nothing like the food we had at the tasting. I literally could’ve gone to Kroger and bought the appetizers myself. No sweet tea or lemonade was available for my guests during brunch and we later found a gallon of Kroger sweet tea and a half gallon of Kroger lemonade in the fridge- was this suppose to serve my 50 guests? David did schedule a meeting with us to “make things right” but later canceled and has not returned emails or phone calls since. I want to be clear that if it was in fact a medical emergency, we totally understand that things happen. However, after reading other reviews from the past month, poor quality, tardiness and ghosting all seem to be common themes. Also, if your health is poor or in question, you need to have a better plan in place in case of your absence. Please do your homework and go with literally anyone else for your big day!
