Hiring Angela with Bit by Bit was hands down the best investment my husband and I made during our vendor selection and wedding planning process. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful, especially for a hyper-detailed focused person like myself. However with Angela's expertise, guidance, and support, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders during our planning process and was able to relax and just enjoy the ride. Angela and her team of superstars think of every little tiny detail to ensure you and your partner can just kick back and relax on your special day. Angela has incredible connections to a slew of the best wedding vendors in Lexington and is able to suggest / recommend additional vendors to bring into your vendor team that she knows will be the right fit for you and your wedding vision. Angela went above and beyond for my husband and I on our wedding day (including keeping my wedding dress on hand for a few weeks post-wedding after I changed into my reception outfit so we could go straight from the venue to the after party without having to lug my huge dress with us on the shuttle bus!) She and her team member Remi were the calming presence I needed to keep my head on straight throughout the day, especially right before I walked down the aisle. We couldn't recommend working with Bit-by-Bit enough! They are knowledgeable, approachable and most importantly incredibly caring and truly want the best for their couples on their special day.
Angela is the absolute best! I got married in Lexington but was living out of town prior to the wedding, and she was a lifesaver during the planning process. She communicated well with vendors, organized times for me to meet with her and other vendors when I was able to be in town, and made sure that everything was on track to be ready for the big day. My wedding day felt so relaxed and stress-free, because Angela had everything under control - whether it was helping me with my dress, setting up the place settings for the reception, or assisting the other vendors, she did it all to perfection!
Angela goes above and beyond when helping you plan your dream wedding! She is incredibly organized and makes sure that you don’t miss any small details. She makes sure she has a plan for everything and is there days in advance making sure everything is set up properly. Our wedding was perfect and I don’t know what we would have done without her! When it started to rain right before the ceremony she had a great idea of doing a little pre ceremony cocktail hour to keep the guests busy and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! It was a perfect night and we are so thankful for her and her team. Bit by bit events is the BEST!
Angela was a lifesaver, and I'll just say it: You need her. Angela helped to plan our wedding through one of the toughest wedding seasons ever - through all of *2020* if you know what I mean. She is eager, patient, and ALWAYS on top of everything! She was also fabulous to work with - constantly thinking of little details that I never would, thinking ahead, and making sure my day went absolutely beautifully. I didn't have to worry about a SINGLE THING on my wedding day, which gave me so much more time to spend with family and friends. She is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the stresses of wedding planning. I honestly don't know how she does it, but I am so grateful to have worked with her!
Choosing Angela as my day of coordinator was one of (if not THE) best decisions I made for the wedding! She was AMAZING!!!! She always responded so quickly to all my texts and emails and was just beyond helpful. She’s so knowledgeable and knows how to cut corners and save money when it isn’t necessary to be spending money on something frivolous. She had items I could use for free like the white lanterns I used as half of my centerpieces. I could not have planned this wedding without her. I only wish I had decided to just hire her as my full time planner!!! And for the day of the wedding, she made sure everything was perfect and running on time. I had the most relaxing day because I knew she was in charge and could handle anything and everything. It truly made the day perfect. HIGHLY recommend Angela! Thank you Angela for everything!!!!!!!! Also if you’re a horse person, she is your girl! I took photos with my horse on the wedding day and she’s helped make it happen! Do not hesitate hiring her!
Angela w/ Bit by Bit is an amazing wedding planner, especially from a vendor's perspective as I'm a wedding photographer, in the business over 12 years. I've worked with Angela on many times since the beginning of my career and any time I get the opportunity to work with her, I have so much peace knowing the event will go off without a hitch. She has an amazing ability to navigate all the details of an elaborate wedding without the stress to be visible whatsoever. Angela is an amazing example of the importance of having a wedding coordinator on your big day and I can't recommend her more highly.
My husband and I agree that hiring Angela and Bit-by-Bit was our best investment. She went above and beyond, especially since we live in Europe and were planning from overseas. We also chose to have two ceremonies, Catholic and Jewish, which was an added challenge to making our wedding flow smoothly. Our day was stress free because of her. Angela was able to take the vision Mike and I created, help us refine it, plan day of schedule that met all our needs for the day, and was there with us until the very end of the night. Hiring Angela allowed us the freedom to enjoy our guests and fully engage in the day rather than worrying about small little details, answering questions, and running the schedule of events. Our best advice - hire Angela today!
I cannot possibly say enough good things about Angela, she is fantastic!!! I am a terrible procrastinator by nature and she dealt with me flawlessly. Organized from day one, having her saved my sanity planning this wedding while also being in graduate school and traveling the country on clinical rotations. She has all the right vendors and helped me stay on track for decisions, who to get in touch with, and design and flow of the big day. Everything went off without a hitch (or if there was a problem I never knew about it). Highly, highly recommended!!!
Where do I even begin? Angela was amazing! I worked with Angela through one of her 'middle tier' packages - I had already picked most of my vendors, and made all of the big decisions, but I needed more help than just "day of"because I was planning my wedding from out of state. She was a perfect fit! She had a timeline laid out within hours of our first meeting, let me ship all my items to her house so I wouldn't have to travel with them, she leveraged her industry contacts to help me find transportation, lighting, florists, helped me find decor pieces, etc. She was always responsive through text and email, and kept everything coordinated with all my other vendors. I'm a pretty high-stress person, and my friends were all confused by how calm I was leading up to the wedding, and on the wedding day, but there was just nothing for me to worry about - Angela had it all covered! I'm a type A planner, and hate delegating/trusting other people to do things for me - but I had total faith in her! Very sweet, funny, and personable - I can't recommend her enough!
Angela was the absolute best! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! She always responded to my emails and kept me on track with creating a detailed timeline. I hired her for only day of coordination but she did so much more. She even came out to the venue to help decorate 2 days before the wedding! She is extremely detail oriented and stays on top of the other vendors to make sure every thing is delivered/runs smoothly. I suggest booking her full coordination package, it would be so worth it to have her expertise from the beginning!
I don't even know where to begin! Angela and her team were a life saver on my wedding day! During the entire planning process, Angela was there for me to help answer any questions I may have had and would give me her honest opinion about certain things, which was really nice! She communicated with all of the vendors and made sure everyone knew where to be at what time. She was the reason everything ran so smoothly. The day of the wedding Angela and her team decorated the entire reception hall, Manchester Music Hall, and she completed it all before the ceremony at Christ the King even started. Her assistant, Morgan, was so sweet and did a great job with decorating and keeping things flowing. I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have Angela. She is amazing at her job and I would highly recommend her as your wedding planner. She is easy to talk to and took a lot of stress off me by taking care of all the minor details leading up to the day of! She was amazing!!
Our wedding wedding was perfect and everything we ever could have dreamed because of Angela and Bit by Bit Events! She is very thorough and detailed when learning out her couples and their ideal wedding. She especially wants to get to know her brides to understand what they envision for their day. She wants to know the brides personalities and likes. She become a dear friend throughout the process, and I always enjoy talking with her. She is in control of the day and made me feel calm and relaxed. I would highly recommend her as a wedding planner/coordinator as the wedding plannning and wedding itself went so smoothly with her. She made wedding planning fun and immensely easy!
We planned our wedding back home (in Louisville) from out of town, so I knew ahead of time that I wanted to have somebody to help us with the planning and coordinating process. We definitely had family willing to help out, but instead of stressing them (and us!) we hired Angela to help. I can't express what a relief it was to have someone set up vendor appointments, advise us on on the process of choosing vendors, and basically set up the plan & timeline for the day of. She was easy to reach and great at communicating everything that needed to be done. My husband and I were both busy with work (he's military and wasn't able to be present for much of the planning process), not to mention we were planning from several states away, so having a professional on our side really reduced our stress! Additionally, having her there coordinating on the day of was one of the best choices we made. I'm a horrible procrastinator and Angela was always on top of everything (a lot of which I hadn't even thought of). She was indispensable on our wedding day and was one of the main drivers of everything running smoothly. Definitely worth it. Thanks Angela!
Angela Sallee was such a wonderful wedding coordinator. My husband and I felt so supported and grateful to have her on our special day. We planned our Kentucky wedding from Colorado with help from my mom in Florida, so needless to say we needed someone on the ground in Kentucky. Although she was based in Lexington, she made herself available to us in Louisville with ease anytime we needed her. She was always 1 or 2 steps ahead of me and ready with answers for every question. She has great connections in the area and was extremely organized. Even when I had "bridal freak out" moments she remained the epitome of professional and polite.
She did everything we asked for and more!! By the end of the experience she felt like family and we were so pleased with all she did for us! She was the first one there on the day of and the last to leave! She even came back the next day and cleaned up our get ready room! Amazing!
We opted to pay for the full package to have Angela plan everything with us through out the entire experience. I highly recommend this, as it was wonderful having the time to really share our vision with her and know that she could easily answer any vendor questions with the answers I would have given myself. I loved having her guide us through the process and felt like she was so invested in our wedding day.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Angela and know that she is the best coordinator in the area! She offers an extremely fair price, lots of experience, hard work and a very rare talent of bringing a bride's style and vision to a reality! Hire her now - you will not regret it!

I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding day was and how Angela made that happen. When I say I did not have to stress or worry about a single thing on the day of, that is an understatement. Angela is so organized and detail oriented that any idea I had was brought to life without me having to lift a finger. She coordinated all communication with our venue, photographer, videographer, hotels and church. She created our day of timeline and the flow of the day seemed so seamless. I was able to enjoy every moment without worrying about what time it was or who needed to be where! I was worried about my reception flowing and allowing the guests to have fun. Angela made suggestions and used her experience to plan our perfect reception that stayed within our budget. Her response time was almost instant when I e-mailed or texted her and she NEVER seemed like I was a bother when I wanted to change things. Hands down the best coordinator I could have asked for!
I would like to say that working with Angela who owns Bit by Bit Events was nothing less than great! Angela kept in contact with me the entire time and made sure we were constantly in sync. Angela is a very hard worker and she takes pride in the experience she gives her couples. Her professionalism and attitude the entire day was positive. Angela of Bit by Bit Events was the unsung heroine of my entire wedding planning process! Prior to meeting with Angela, I felt confused and overwhelmed by all there was to accomplish. After the most helpful consultation, I chose her Day Of Coordination package, but received so much more!
Angela is a prompt and professional communicator who kept me fully on schedule throughout planning. Her regular emails – like a reminder to place linen orders when I was a bit scattered – ensured that no detail was overlooked. Working with her was a true joy – our regular planning meetings at Starbucks felt more like getting coffee with an old friend.
On the day of the wedding, Angela was an absolute godsend. She took charge of all reception space set up, calmly restructured our timeline when getting ready took longer than anticipated, and was prepared with her bridal kit to resolve all potential wardrobe malfunctions (thank you for fixing my uncooperative bustle!). To ensure that my husband and I had time to breathe, she prepared plates of food for us, so we were able to take a few minutes to relax and eat a proper dinner. She was so level-headed and tended to every detail that needed attention.
Throughout the entire wedding day, neither my mother nor I lifted a finger. Angela gave us and all those involved in the wedding the priceless gift of being fully present in each moment. To all future brides – booking Angela to assist you with your wedding day will undoubtedly be the best investment you could make in creating a perfect wedding.
Dear Lord, my one regret (and my husband's, for sure) from our absolutely fabulous wedding experience is that we didn't hire Angela from Day 1 of the engagement! I'm not a particularly organized person, but Angela more than made up for that. She provided so much kind, helpful guidance and expertise - I've never planned a party, much less a wedding, and I don't understand how it could've gotten done without her. Even in her 'day-of' coordination, she was a help throughout my planning process and I can't overstate how much we relied on her, especially in the last month of crunch time. She was a cool, calm source of sanity and organization and competence when I needed it most. I mean, I left my car headlights on during a vendor meeting and killed my battery - Angela jumped my car in the dark and the rain. What a total champ!
I couldn't recommend her more! Don't make the same mistake I did - hire her full service and as early as possible! :)
I had the absolute pleasure of having Angela work with me on my wedding coordination. And the outcome?... STUNNING. My husband and I were married in Maine, which is quite a distance from Kentucky where Angela is based. That didn't make a bit of difference. Angela researched the area before coming up, making her time there unbelievably efficient. She quickly got to know the people working with our wedding and built a professional relationship with them within minutes. There wasn't a single stone unturned while setting up the day-of and the day before. She is there every time you turn around with an idea, and before you even have time to tell her, she's already doing it. I was so incredibly impressed with her attention to detail and the way she always seems to know exactly what you are thinking... even before you think it! Not only is she focussed and professional, she always has a wonderfully genuine smile on her face knowing she is doing what she loves. She handles stress and glitches with class and ease, never once batting an eye at a challenge. I am so honored to have had Angela work with me to create the day of my dreams. Having Angela Sallee by your side through your wedding process will be the best decision you've ever made! Every step of the way, Angela gave her expertise advice without imposing any of her opinions or ideas on me. She let me come up with ideas, scratch those ideas and come up with new ones, and she was always willing to make it work. She was the main reason that I wasn't nervous one bit on my wedding day.
