Bitterroot is the preferred florist for my venue, which made the choice to go with them easy.
They were very helpful to someone who didn't know what she wanted, really, and when my fiancee's mother died a week before the wedding, they cheerfully added a memorial bouquet to our order.
Based on the other florists I looked at, their prices were good, and they were very responsive and knowledgeable. The flowers were beautiful, and everything went so smoothly, I didn't even have to think about the flowers.
Bitterroot did an incredible job on our wedding flowers. They worked amazing with Wedgewood (our venue), provided extensive details & communication & the flowers turned out incredible!! We loved working with this studio.
We had a wedding package through Wedgewood that used Bitteroot Studio for the floral centerpieces and they turned out so beautiful. We don’t have photos back yet so I will try to remember to post those when we get them! Huge shoutout to Sidney who did our consultation, she was awesome!!
The flowers were GORGEOUS and exactly what i wanted! They were easy to contact and ask questions and helped bring my vision to life!
We used Bitterroot studio as part of our venue's list of vendors. We had a simple idea for flowers and did not have specific colors-- so once we had our first meeting all was set from then on. We found they were easy to work with and everything turned out beautiful
DO NOT RECOMMEND! It came with the Venue's package and it became my worst nightmare for the last month. A month prior to the wedding I requested to do a minor change (just substitute some vases with ones I would provide and leaving the head table as everyone else's with the arrangements we already paid for) and they made a huge deal about it, tried to charge me for 'extra costs' and there was nothing extra! i'm aware I should have requested those changes earlier but they were very minor. And when I thought we were settle, they sent me a message through the portal cause there's no other way to contact them, making other changes.
The cherry on top was when they ''realized'' there was a ''balance due'' 2 days before the wedding, when I made the final payment weeks before and everything was settle, I didn't add anything after that. So I had to make a payment the night before my wedding afraid that they wouldn't bring the items to my wedding. Terrible customer service experience.
ohhh and on top of that one of the main flower arrangements that they set on the altar fell and broke into pieces in the middle of our ceremony !
The only good thing i have to say is that the guy that was making the floral arrangements (i don't know his name) was very nice and friendly (he was the only one super friendly). The arrangements were pretty but nothing wow.
Bitterroot Studio made our wedding floral dream a reality! We got married in early spring, so there wasn't a ton of greenery outside, but we had envisioned being surrounded by lush greenery with tasteful white and purple flowers. I had a hard time at first with the process of picking out flowers for the wedding because there are so many questions and so many options, but they worked closely with us to understand what we were looking for and make it happen. From the bouquets to the ground arrangements, floral spray on the pergola, and the greenery hanging from the light strings, it was amazing! Thank you so much :-)
We used Bitterroot as part of our vendors “preferred florist”. Similar to what others have said we had an initial meeting where we outlined our vision colors, flowers wanted ect. We received an outlined contract with expected florals. I had a follow up call 30 days out and then 10 days out. My flower vision didn’t really change throughout. My biggest concern was highlighting the vision we had. On our 1 week out phone call I was informed there would be pink colors in the bouquet and I flipped as our colors are Navy, purple, and white. I was very explicit there were to be no pint florals. Come wedding day there was pink in EVERYTHING. I was livid, as when I reached out to Bitterroot asking for help I got absolutely no response from them. After the wedding I reached out about being unhappy with the florals and also no response. Needless to say I would NOT ever recommend this florist. They clearly cannot listen to their clients visions and follow through with good customer service. This was the biggest mistake of a vendor for our wedding. Do NOT book with them.
And when I say they messed up bad I mean it. Totally upset all of the pictures/ mood/ and ultimately trust in this vendor.
We unfortunately used Bitterroot studio for our florals as they were a ‘preferred partner’ with our venue. To outline our experience, it’s worth noting how much prep and time we put into this pre-wedding. We drove an hour north for our first planning meeting with them where we discussed in depth all the details like start time, types of flowers, things we wanted to upgrade and remove, etc. Several weeks later we have another follow up meeting and confirmed all these details about 30 days out. 10 days out we once more had a phone call and confirmed all the same details that were outlined in the proposal and contract, including start times and venue location. Also worth noting, we barely had any changes from our initial meeting, almost all details stayed the same the entire time. Seems like we’d all be on the same page, right? Fast forward to the wedding day and Bitterroot is a disaster. An hour goes past their promised arrival time, and they’re still not at the venue. 30 minutes to the ceremony and throughout all pre-ceremony photos, no flowers. We had no communication from Bitterroot on what the possible issues here were and the only information we could get from the venue was that this company had a ‘mix up’ on their end. Finally, after all our guests have arrived and were prepping to have the ceremony, these folks decide to show up. Frustratingly our ceremony had to be delayed 20 minutes to allow enough time for this company to setup the flowers on the arch and get the boutonnieres and bouquets to the respective people so we could get at least a few photos. We made a point to try and knock out as many photos as we could before the ceremony so now 90% of our photos with both parties and families had no boutonnieres and bouquets. Thankfully we didn’t have flowers on the chairs or in the aisle or else I fear we would have been delayed even longer, cutting more into our cocktail hour. For the reception, we had purchased an ‘upgraded cascading’ flower centerpiece that was designed to drape down our sweetheart table that we also did not receive and was given the standard centerpiece.
The lack of care on a follow up from Bitterroot management on this experience is laughable and we still have not received an apology. After we had to complain and reach out, they texted us and said they would call us on a particular date upon our honeymoon return that they then proceeded to miss and never reached out. Once we followed up again, the only apology we got was for missing the call (not about the flower disaster still) and we’re still waiting for a follow up.
While the flowers that did eventually arrive looked nice, I could absolutely never recommend this company to anybody especially for something as important as a wedding.
We really enjoyed working with Bitterroot! They recently did a change to their customer portal that is really convenient! Their florists were really receptive to us changing our minds on flower choices and made their process easy to understand. Delivery and setup was seamless, especially through our Wedgewood venue!
Bitterroot provided the most stunning floral arrangements we could have hoped for on our wedding day. They took my Christmas-y vision and brought it to life, and I had so many guests coming up to me to smell my bouquet because it was so beautiful and smelled amazing. They were lovely to work with via our venue and we couldn’t be happier with how our flowers looked!
We had our wedding at the Tapestry House in Fort Collins. They use Bitterroot as their florist. The process was so easy. We had a phone call with our consultation specialist (Kellie) and she understood vibe immediately. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for.
Jamie and her team at Bitterroot did an excellent job on the florals for my wedding. As someone who is not a big flower expert, I ha no idea where to start, but Jamie was incredibly patient with me and guided me through step by step. She worked with me through multiple iterations to nail down the style and the price points, and the end results were beautiful. Would highly recommend Bitterroot to anyone looking for florals in the Denver area!
These photos are only sneak peaks, but the attention to detail and the gorgeous arrangements we had made for us were outstanding! I worked mostly with Emily, and she captured my vision perfectly with a moody palette and eye popping aesthetics in my bouquet. We had pocket squares for the men which was a total hit, and the corsages were gorgeous too. We loved all the centerpieces, but most importantly my bouquet was to die for! Thank you for making my dreams come true with such beautiful florals on my big day!
Beautiful floral. Everything I imagined came into reality, there wasn’t a detail missing and everything looked stunning. We couldn’t be happier with the services provided. We made changes throughout our planning process and Bitterroot was always flexible. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for stunning flowers!
