Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings

Our experience with Black Forrest was good and bad throughout the planning process, but once Mo became our wedding coordinator everything became much more enjoyable. All 3 of us were on the same page about how things should be done and she was able to bring everything together while simultaneously making us feel more at ease. She went above and beyond what we thought any other wedding coordinator would do, from bustling my wife's dress to doing damage control on the wedding cake in order to prevent any issues. Not only that, but on a personal level she was just a really great person to be around. We felt like she always had our backs from the first day to the last. Mo is very talented at what she does, and if she's your wedding coordinator you will leave feeling like she was the best person for the job.

To the team who were there throughout our day, a big shutout to you guys. Elaina was amazing and made sure Halle and I really enjoyed our day. Asked us if we’re okay, if we had enough drinks (which there were PLENTY), etc. Thank you! Also noting that she was able to make a seating chart where our guests had assigned seats. Literal life saver there. To Skylar, thanks so much for any assistance you were able to provide throughout the night. To Angie, GREEEAAAT signature drinks. My and I had really no idea the drinks we chose because the names were just pretty, so thanking you for making them incredibly tasty. Us and our guests definitely enjoyed them! And to Maggie, BIG shutout to you for playing the songs we picked and really chose the right songs for the right queue throughout the night. My and I are big music lovers—except for screamo—and believe music makes a whole lot of difference in an environment to set the mood. And you did just that! So thank you. Also, want to give a shoutout to Summer, she was really able to capture us during our ceremony and throughout the time we had with her!

All of the staff at Black Forest were so easy to work with from the beginning stages, through the middle stages, and on our wedding day. Lyndsey was the first person we talked to and she completely sold us on the venue with how informative and friendly she was and just an all around rock star! They worked with our schedules and moved things around to make everything convenient for us as we had 95% of our wedding party and guests traveling from out of state - that is something we can't thank them enough for. Our wedding day was stress free and fun (even through the rain!) because of good communication and thorough planning. Yvonne and Lexi were also great to work with for our last planning call and as our captain, respectively. You can tell everyone works well together because there was never a skipped beat when talking to any of the staff. Not to mention, the venue is beautiful and has a perfect mix between inside elegance and outside forest. We also had a great experience with the recommended Dj service and were so thankful to have Maggie as our DJ - she got so many compliments throughout the night on the music selection!

If we could rate more than 5 stars, we would! From start to finish our wedding planning process was stress free and fun. Our coordinator was Lindsey, and she was incredible. Everything was explained thoroughly from start to finish. Her bright personality put us at ease and allowed us to bring our personality to our wedding. The venue was even more beautiful after being decorated. We appreciated that we didn't have to do any of the setting up or taking down as it is all handled through the venue. The DJ, cake, and flowers are also all handled through the venue. Our DJ was Tyler H. who made sure the music was flowing and appropriate for different events/moments. The bakery that provided our wedding cake, Icing on the Cake, made us the BEST cake we have ever that looked just like our inspo pic. The floral company, A Flower Girl's Dream, created beautiful centerpieces in unique bud vases. It was nice to have the food provided by the venue so we did not need to cater. The appetizers were to die for! Overall, would highly recommend! (07/10/24)

I had the pleasure of working with Mo yesterday with my soon to be wife and I had such a wonderful experience. She made sure we understood everything about the planning process for our wedding, she made the planning fun, and she really made the process easy for us. She gave us a certain level of comfort being the final stages of our wedding. She answered all my questions, she was personable, she was energetic, and knowledgeable.

From the initial planning meeting, to the ongoing check-in's, to the rehearsal and finally the wedding day - the Wedgewood at Black Forest team led by Mo was amazing! Clear communications on what to expect, follow up after every call to summarize what was talked about and what we needed to do before the next check in. The venue itself is beautiful. They walked us through every step needed for a succesful day in the planning and it turned out unforgettable! You won't go wrong with this team!

Absolutely amazing experience. I had so much help planning the event. They had so many great ideas posted to social media. The venue was gorgeous, the team was so responsive, and they had so many materials to help you plan. Our day of coordinator was a life saver. We had a perfect wedding day.

We knew from planning our wedding with Lindsey, Mo, Alex and Yvonne that our wedding night at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings would be the best night of our lives and everyone there ensured it was! Both Lindsey and Kaylee took such good care of us all night, making sure we had all the food and drinks we wanted and kept us on schedule! Frank made the best tasting appetizers and had a great buffet spread for us! Tyler H from DJ Maestro kept the night alive with the perfect music for each part of the night! Dave crushed it with our open bar, supported the rounds of shots throughout the night and helped us offer virgin drink options for any of our non-drinkers! With everyone’s help at Black Forest it is a night I never wanted to end! And both Jessica and Madison from Yellow Paddle photography captured all the details and love so my wife and I can relive the night forever!

We just had the most amazing wedding at Wedgewood Wedding’s Black Forest venue! We planned our wedding from out of state and the entire planning crew made it so easy for us right from the beginning. Lindsey is absolutely phenomenal! We had worked with her when we virtually explored the venue and on some of the detail calls so we were super excited to hear she was our day of coordinator! She made our wedding day special! Along the planning process we worked with Mo, Alex and Yvonne who all made the planning process so simple (and shoutout to their binder which helped us prepare for each meeting). Kaylee was our banquet captain and took over the night after dinner. She did a wonderful job making sure we had all the food and drinks we could want. And she helped clean everything up at the end of the night. We didn’t have to do anything but enjoy ourselves the entire night, it is definitely a wedding we want to relive over and over! We booked the premier package so we had everything included we wanted. This included the most gorgeous acrylic invites! We added their lawn games which was a fun touch for all the non-dancers at the wedding. We got Tyler H from DJ Maestro included and he was great, changing the music to fit the mood throughout the night and rolling with last minute song adjustments! Our cake was not only beautiful but also delicious and Icing on The Cake was so easy to work with! Frank made a delicious spread of food! They made sure we got a plate of appetizers and a moment to enjoy just ourselves right after the ceremony. And they even gave us an extra plate of appetizers at our head table since we were so excited for them! The buffet had so many options, everyone was able to enjoy. The late night tater tot bar was a hit and needed for the great open bar! Dave made sure to make our specialty cocktails exactly how we like! Although their indoor ceremony space was a perfect backup, we loved the outdoor ceremony space! And even though there was a little bit of rain around the ceremony, they provided clear umbrellas to make sure we could say our vows out in front of the beautiful forest. We would not have been able to have the wedding we did without everyone at Black Forest’s help! Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding. They made everything so smooth, easy, and simple. And I absolutely loved our coordinator Yvonne and banquet captain Kaylee. They were just indescribably kind and funny and warm and on it! I CANNOT stress enough how mush we wish we could do it all over again! Definitely worth the money (the elite package is a great price for a butt load of included items—literally every single thing you would need for the wedding, was included).

I absolutely love Black Forest by Wedgewood weddings. My cousin got married there in 2021, another cousin got married there in February, and I just got married there on April 21. Everything was beautiful, ran smoothly, and exceeded my expectations! Lindsey is the best wedding planner ever and Mo was an amazing captain who ran the end of the wedding! I highly highly recommend Wedgewood (specifically Black Forest) for your wedding!!

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin. I had my wedding last Friday with my now-husband Luke and it had literally with no issues. I planned this wedding in 6 months, had 3 meetings with the venue and all their amazing coordinators, including Lindsey, Mo, and Yvonne, who were so unbelievably nice and on top of all the details and plans I gave them. I got to have my dream wedding with their help, and if that wasn't enough, I got to do it worry-free. I can't recommend this place enough for people looking to have a more package-inclusive wedding where they can relax and have fun at the most beautiful venue!! Thank you again, Lindsey, Mo, and everyone else on staff! You guys are absolutely fantastic and your skills are beyond appreciated!!

Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings is the best!! When we were starting to look at venues we were a bit nervous about how our individual style and preferences would work at an all-inclusive venue, but they do a great job at making sure it’s whatever you want! They have packages with the best vendors in Colorado Springs, but if you want to go somewhere different, you can. You can use their decorations or bring your own and they’ll set it up. Our guests raved about how good the food/ cake was, how much they loved our DJ, decor, and thought the whole space was beautiful and elegant looking. All the vendors and staff went above and beyond for us leading up to and on the day of our event. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

The venue is beautiful but the company and staff made it such a wonderful experience. We worked with Alex and Mo while planning our wedding. They were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. The two of them made this experience so enjoyable. The rehearsal the day before was run by Alex and she was extremely detail-oriented and did a great job making sure everyone knew where they should be. On the day of the wedding they had all our decorations set up perfectly and we had nothing to worry about at all. The icing on the cake was that Alex bustled my wedding dress before the reception!!! Honestly, it’s the little details that help take all the stress away. Kaylee, Lexi, and Yvonne were incredible servers, Dave and Mike did great behind the bar, Chef Frank did awesome on the food and Dylan killed it on dishes! We highly recommend this venue, their staff really makes it what it is!

Our day was spectacular and that was largely due to the incredible support we received from everyone at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings. Our coordinator, Lindsey, was with us from the very beginning and walked us through each step of this process. On our special day, she made sure we were always taken care of and as low stress as possible. We are beyond indebted to her! The food is incredible, so major props to Frank, the chef (don't sleep on the carved turkey, it's amazing!). The servers, Kaylee and Alexis as well as the bartenders Mo and Fatima, were incredible and made sure that all of our guests were taken care of throughout the night. Lastly, Mack, who took over for Lindsey at the end of the night, was on top of everything and helped us finish off our night with a bang! Thank you thank you thank you to everyone at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings, our day was special because we trusted this team with the details, logistics and execution!

Wedgewood Weddings was incredibly easy to work with! Very sweet people and if you are looking to not worry about anything during your wedding planning process, pick them! I knew since they beginning that I didn't want to go out and find every vendor for everything, so I was happy to know I didn't have to! I also knew that I always wanted a wedding in the mountains but also wanted to ease of not having to plan anything so we considered doing Mexico instead. Once I found the easy planning and the mountain location, it was a match made in heaven! Our day of wedding coordinator Alex was absolutely wonderful! She helped us feel so comfortable all day long and took the best care of us. If weddings weren't a one time thing, we would pick Wedgewood over and over!

Our wedding was March 1st 2024, after touring many of he Wedgewood locations we loved the location and beauty of Black Forest. Planning a wedding can be OVERWHELMING to say the least but Wedgewood guided and helped navigate down to granular detail. The all in one experience removes the burden of finding most vendors. Cake, invitations, linens, food, DJ, florist are all included in a budget friendly way and clearly documented and outlined for you. Alex was our day of coordinator and we want to scream from the rooftops how wonderful she was to us. She was in control of the day with such grace and kindness. The day of the wedding can feel hectic but knowing she was there with and outline to keep us on track felt like we were taken very good care of. Thank you Alex, you are amazing!!

We had a great wedding! Mo was amazing and on top of the night even with the little things that accrued. This place is definitely a great spot to have your wedding. Our Dj Anneliese had the whole crowd talking about how pumped up and fun the wedding was! The food was great, our timeline and set up was beautiful My only complaint about the venue is the constant change in coordinators we had.. some minor things fell through that probably wouldn’t have if it had been the same person the whole time. Lindsey was great the day of and probably would have been great if we had her from the start and would have made sure the things that we truly were upset about ( flora, no one standing for the first bride)

I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. The team was incredibly talented, knowledgeable, supportive, helpful, and so much more. They made the process simple. Our entire experience with Wedgwood was fantastic. But I really want to focus this review on one person who really just made the planning and day of SO SPECIAL for us, and that was Lindsey. She was so wonderful and nice and absolutely went above and beyond for us. You’re a rockstar Lindsey and we felt so blessed to have your help with our special day.

This venue is absolutely magnificent! They made the planning process so easy and answered the many questions I had quickly and happily. The day of our wedding was also amazing because of the staff. Specifically Lindsey, Alex, Mo. They helped take so much stress off of our shoulders. We felt so loved by them, we will remember them being apart of our wedding day forever!

Our December wedding at Black Forest by Wedgewood weddings was absolutely perfect! The planning process was so easy and fun. The food was amazing and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great everything was. All their recommended vendors were so easy to work with and made all our visions come to life. We are so thankful for Lindsey for being an amazing coordinator on the day of. The entire Wedgewood team is professional and we enjoyed planning our wedding with them. Anyone looking for the perfect venue should definitely go check it out!

From the start of the process Lindsey was there for any questions we had, she made the process seamless and enjoyable. Nicole was our captain and made sure we were taken care of through the whole wedding day. John whipped up a stellar meal that was quite delectable. Katie was our server and she was ready for any drinks we may want or to clear the table with haste. Sydney was our DJ and she did a fantastic job with planning the music and getting the timing for each song we picked perfect. We love that everything is included from the food to the DJ. There is not a thing we would change about our day thanks to this amazing venue and amazing team.

Finding words to describe this venue is very hard. From start to finish the whole process was very easy. The team there was always quick to respond and made us feel like family. Lindsey our wedding coordinator was so much fun to work with and she made our dreams come true. I love that everything was included, from the cake and the food to the DJ. Sydney was our DJ the night of our wedding and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was so sweet and did an amazing job choosing our music!! Our whole team the day of our wedding was fantastic. Nicole was our captain and once Lindsey left for the night she was always checking in on us. Katie and John did a wonderful job serving and prepping the food. There is not a thing we would change about our wedding and that is all because of Black Forest Weddings By Wedgewood.

the entire team at black forest by wedgewood was amazing. our coordinator lindsey was absolutely perfect and was there right when i needed her while still giving space. monique was so amazing about helping calm my nerves and keeping the event going. our dj annelise was AMAZING at following our style and timing, and michelle our officiant added perfect personal details that made it truly our ceremony.

The staff was great. Our Planners and Coordinators were amazing. Shout out to Katrina, Lindsey, and Alex for working together and making the day of as great as they could. These ladies were amazing when it came to the work that they did. Another huge shoutout to the Banquet Captain: Mo. It's amazing what one person can do when the venue is short staffed. And thanks to Katie N and Katie S for backing Mo and stepping in for our "huge" party of 95. Speaking of which, Dave the bartender was a fan favorite. Make sure you get the top shelf open bar option if you want your guests to have a great time. Our experience with Wedgewood was overall great. This review would've lost a star in my opinion due to the short-staffed event and seeming as if everything was overwhelmed, but after meeting with the Manager Nicole, her efforts to make things right with us and hearing our gripes and groans gives us a good feeling with their intentions and we understand that staffing is something out of their control.

Wedgewood was the right choice for us. Every step of planning was made so simple and easy with them and their team. Especalially for a couple that stays easy going, this could not have been better. From vendors to small details they took care of everything, all we had to do was make choices from all of their many options, and just enjoy our planning process. A HUGE thank you to Lindsey and the rest of our team. Everyone was delightful to work with.

There is not even enough words to describe how incredible this venue was. It is not just a venue, it includes everything you would could possible need for a price you can actually afford: food, decor, linens, silverware, glasses, ceremony space, reception space, photo booth, many extra add ons, and most importantly it includes incredible people. Dream wedding made possible only by the magic of the team we had the pleasure of working with! I want to thank the whole team for making our wedding day back on September 9, 2023 the wedding we've always wanted and more. From the amazing attention and coordination displayed by Lindsey who kept the show perfect while my wife and I tied the knot, to the amazing food our friends and family were able to experience thanks to the organization and forwardness of Breana--we couldn't have asked for more. Lindsay and Katrina did a fabulous job helping us plan our dream wedding, we couldn't have asked for it to be any better. The food was amazing and they helped us coordinate absolutely everything required for the day of our lives! Lindsay and Kayla also did a fabulous job the day-of managing the vendors, schedule, and all our items that needed to be set up, and put away at the end of the night. The price is great, and all the staff were super friendly the whole night. The guests said this was the BEST wedding they have been to ever. I would not have done anything differently, this team, from the coordinators, to the kitchen staff, to the bar, to the vendor choices was so spectacular.

Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings was the most amazing venue my husband and I could have asked for! They were so supportive, helpful, and responsive throughout the whole planning process. Anytime we had a question on anything, we got responses very quickly and they were fast on updating us with any changes. They were also very flexible with us making changes to our package to make our day exactly how we wanted it. We had the most stress-free wedding day due to how amazing our coordinator, Lindsey, was. She was constantly asking us if we needed anything and kept us filled on drinks. Once she left for the night, Monique was also great at making sure we were taken care of. The whole staff here made for such an amazing wedding planning experience and we are so grateful to them!

Our wedding was so amazing and fun and we couldn’t have done it with the amazing staff here! Lindsey and Mo made me feel like a princess all day and helped me so so much, I loved having them there! This place is amazing! Lindsey our wedding coordinator was absolutely the best! She made the day so easy and relaxing. I could not have asked for someone better. She is freaking amazing! Our wedding coordinator Lindsey McKenna was absolutely amazing!! She made everything so easy. Our DJ Anneliese picked great songs and helped teach dances that people didn’t know. She was awesome! Becca our captain helped end the night smoothly and perfect. These woman were awesome and made our day perfect!

This venue was amazing. They were transparent, responsive, easy to work with. We used their recommended vendors for flowes, cake and DJ and all were wonderful to work with. Lindsey was our first point of contact here and I cannot say enough good things! The whole team was great from planning to the day of the wedding. I would recommend them to anybody! We made the best decision using this venue. They are amazing!!!! I can truly say we had the best experience with them. They set up the wedding exactly the way I envisioned it. I cried when I saw the beautiful reception room! They gave us a few unexpected surprises the day of the wedding, showing they really did care about our event!!

We had our wedding here in March and it was incredible! All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly! Our coordinator Lindsey was especially awesome and made the wedding more then I could have imagined! Highly recommend!

HEY ! STOP WHAT YOUR DOING, AND BOOK YOUR VENUE WITH BLACK FOREST. I had an outstanding wedding view, and space was great. I was able to film my before and after TikTok videos and not only did we (my wife and I) had the wedding of our dreams, the coordinator KAYLA MAY was amazing. She was also our officiant which made our hearts dropped. she had our colors, checked on us often, kept a smile on our face every conversation, and her goal was to see us succeed. I never had a doubt during the whole planning , and we planned for the year 2022-2023. very affordable and THE CREW!!… danced and had a little fun and I was just as happy as they were when our night finally came to a end. MS KAYLA AND HER CREW WERE SUCH A BLESSING. Every single one of my guest wishes they can replay that night just one more time and my wife and I wish they same. KAYLA MAY ! YOU DID YOUR THING ! Absolutely loved working and being around you in general. I will most definitely keep in touch, because you and the crew are part of my sister hood 💪🏽🥹😊😍

I can't even think of enough good words to describe my husband and I's experience with Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings! We just got married on 12/17/22, and from the very beginning, we knew we chose the right venue. We had hands down the best, most fun, perfect, and nearly stress-free day. We were originally attracted to the "all-inclusive" aspect of this venue, and I'm so glad for that! This made choosing food, alcohol, DJ, cake, etc. SO easy because its all handled in-house/through Wedgewood. We toured just shy of two years out from our wedding, and even though I was planning things way ahead of schedule, our planner/coordinator Lindsay was always quick to answer my questions/emails. She was truly an absolute joy to work with - the nicest person I have ever met. She understood our vision and really helped it come to life! She set up everything for us and even moved our Christmas trees from the ceremony space to the reception. I knew I didn't have anything to worry about with her on our team! The food was amazing, and we loved the bridal fair we got to attend a couple months before our wedding - getting to taste the food in advance, meet in person all the preferred vendors, it was such a cool experience, and we really appreciated that. And of course, the place is beautiful! We were instantly drawn to the chandeliers, sparkly lights, and the incredibly forest for photo ops. Highly recommend adding the heat-less sparklers for gran entrance/exit - two of my favorite moments from our day! Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. It was a truly magical, wonderful, special, FUN day and so much of that was due to the staff at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the people that all work here. I HATE planning things and quite frankly, an awful at it. Between Kayla and Lindsey, they made it SO easy. I literally felt like I was doing nothing. they made every vision I had, come to life. On our wedding day, I would not have changed a single thing. Everything went more smoothly than we could have ever imagined. The day-of timeline was followed perfectly. Kayla and Monique took incredible care of us all day and all night. They made sure we sat down and actually got to enjoy our dinner and dessert, they got our drinks all night and truly made everything feel too good to be true. I am so grateful. my mom is already planning my sister's wedding there and she JUST got her first boyfriend... haha to say we were blown away is an understatement and I wish we could do it all over again! Let's also add that the entire cost of our wedding here was as much as our very first floral quote we got when we first got engaged.

This venue was absolutely amazing! Lindsey was the main person and she was awesome! She was really nice and funny and dealt with my anxiety perfectly. Miranda was our wedding captain, so she was in charge after Lindsey left about half way through the wedding and she was so kind and attentive and really sweet. Anything we needed she was on it! The food was fabulous! We also used their DJ and Nat was the bomb! In addition to that we used the photographer they are partnered with (Tina Joiner Photography) and Im obsessed with the pictures and Summer was a blast to have as a photographer. Lastly, they partner with Icing on the cake and the cake/cupcakes were delicious. This place is the perfect one stop shop for a stress free and gorgeous wedding. I have always dreamed of a forest wedding and they made my dreams come true. My day was memorable and a lot of it is thanks to the wedgewood team!

Wedgewood Wedding Review/Survey I’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe the experience I received from Wedgewood; amazing, fantastic, magical, stress-free, beautiful… PERFECT! I’m sure you are wondering why and how come. To start, my partner and I have never been married before so this was a new experience for us both. Wedgewood made it so simple; I did not have the stress of having to figure out which vendors to use or how they would work together or even what I should do each step of the way leading up to the wedding. Our search started in January for a venue and I found Wedgewood on-line and set up a meeting after looking around for options. During the first week of February, we had a meeting with Wedgewood and was sold. They have a beautiful location in the town over from us and the location has both a place for the ceremony and reception making that extremely convenient for our guests not having to find additional travel arrangements between the two places. Also, they have preferred vendors that already have established and successful relationships with that made piecing together all the details easy and stress-free. Even better, they provided a wedding planning booklet that showed what we needed to do, who we should reach out to and by when, as well as they, Kayla, Lindsey and Katrina, responded quickly to every email or call we made when we had questions. Most places nickel and dime you for each item but all the small incidentals were included, tables, napkins, etc. Things we don’t think about but add up in the end, the wedding team covered it all so nothing was missed! The vendors were marvelous as well. They were responsive and extremely professional all the way through the planning process. Sam from Prive, Yvette from Icing on the Cake, Nathenia P from DJ Maestro, and Summer from Tina Joiner Photography were all amazing and so professional! They dealt with last minute updates and special requests without hesitation and made us feel like it was no trouble at all! Now, Katrina G, our wedding coordinator, was Amazing the entire time from start to finish. She deserves a raise and bonus! She was the BEST! Hands down it was the best experience of our lives. All our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, the seemingly fluid and well put together event. They thought it must have been the most expensive wedding but it was affordable compared to what some other family members paid for theirs and the choppy and disorganized procession because of the pieced together venue/vendors and additions. Having Wedgewood and their preferred vendors allowed us to have a wedding where we didn’t have to think about anything but each other on our special day. When we arrived, we had champagne and snacks in our dressing rooms. Once the ceremony was done, they gave us appetizers from our cocktail hour already in our room so we could have snack before pictures. They waited on us like we were royalty! We felt like we were the only ones in the world that day and it was thanks to the Wedgewood team, Katrina G and Miranda, for making everything run as smoothly as it did. After the event, they had our items we brought, like the gift box, guest book, and signage already packed up and ready for us so we did not have to clean up. It was the best decision we made and they made it the best day we could hope for. If anyone is wondering who to choose for their wedding, it should be Wedgewood.

With every fiber of my being I cannot recommend Wedgewood enough! They are so thoughtful, they are so accessible and incredibly accommodating. Every. Single. Detail. Of your big day is considered and manicured to match your vision. They are always available to answer ANY questions big or small. I cannot say I was an easy bride to work with as I’m incredibly type A and they made me feel as though none of my visions were unattainable. Not a single detail was left out. My vision was brought to life with ease and at a cost that was very reasonable. My favorite feature is the planning book that is provided upon signing the contract. It is a step by step process and give you mile markers to make sure you are on track. This was incredibly helpful as wedding planning can feel overwhelming. The entire staff at Wedgwood is phenomenal. There is not a single venue I would recommend more than them. Absolute perfection in every way.

An absolute dream!! My husband and I had our wedding at the Black Forest venue on 11/27/22 and it was the most magical day. Wedgewood makes the planning process so easy and their staff is so friendly and accomodating. I was initially stressed about planning a wedding but every time I walked into this venue I felt so reassured that everything would be taken care of. Their team made it easy to just enjoy the process. The wedding day was all I could have asked for and more, I felt like my vision was captured perfectly. My coordinator Katrina was so kind and made us feel so cared for. If there was an issue, I was blissfully unaware because she took care of it. Her support and genuine excitement for us made the day so special. For the reception our banquet captain Monique kept everything right on schedule and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so cared for by all the staff (David & Mike our bartenders, our server Miranda, and our kitchen staff Jon & Olivia). Our dance floor was so much fun thanks to our DJ tyler...seriously the best party of my life. I would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple!! Wedgewood weddings sets the bar for the wedding industry.

Wedgewood was PHENOMENAL!!!! They made all of the planning so easy, and our wedding was absolutely perfect. Katrina was our day-of coordinator, and she went above and beyond. Any couple looking for a perfect venue, as well as most of the planning covered for you, Wedgewood is the place. My husband and I could not be happier.

Wedgewood was an absolute pleasure to work with! Everyone there was super helpful with all of the thousand questions we had. They made everything extremely easy throughout the entire wedding planning process, they really do take care of almost everything! The wedding day went off without a hitch, it was exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be!

Oh, where do I begin? If you want to create your most magical dream wedding and have no stress - choose Wedgewood Black Forest as your wedding venue! We chose Wedgewood in January 2021 for our October 1, 2022, wedding with 100+ guests. Kayla was our amazing wedding planner and she made everything so simple for us. Every detail we asked for came with a “yes” answer. She had wonderful recommendations for us and she and the entire staff worked with all my ideas - no matter how “different” they were. In fact, we made a last-minute request for a late-night charcuterie board and the chef jumped in to make it happen - and it was spectacular! In fact all of the food was incredible! Our friends and family are all still talking about how it was the best food they’d ever had at an event or wedding. The planning phase was simple, organized, thorough, and extremely professional. I’m very much a “Type-A” person, and this one one of the few times in my life I was able to sit back and trust that others would get it right - would see my vision and run with it. Wedgewood was super accommodating to the vendors I chose to bring in for ceremony music (string quartet), florist, pastry chef/wedding cake and groom’s cake, marquee letters, favors, balloons, and other extra touches. Day of - everything ran smoothly! Kayla and Mo were so kind, kept us updated and ready for the next part of the agenda…and kept us well-fed and hydrated! We only had one small hiccup during the reception (with availability of certain liquor we expected to have) - but Kayla went out of her way to make it right for us. I absolutely understand that things can happen, but it’s how the team responds that makes the difference and the lasting impression. Kayla is exceptional! I highly recommend the Elite package (it’s definitely worth it!), the “grand sparkler moment” at the reception grand entrance, the tortellini, the s’mores bar, a late-night snack, Wedgewood’s preferred photographer - Tina Joiner, their preferred DJ - DJ Maestro, and their photo-booth option - Untamed Smiles. My favorite part of the process was Kayla’s enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding. It made me feel so confident that I was making all the right choices…and that my ideas weren’t too crazy (having a sketch artist for our guests, we “buried the bourbon” on the property a month in advance for good weather… and dug it up on our wedding day, etc.). She was all for it and I truly appreciated her excitement for our traditions and ideas. Wedgewood is the Gold Standard in wedding venues! Without any hesitation, Highly Recommend!

My husband and I were planning our ceremony from out of state so everything was virtual. Black Forest made everything so simple and easy I don’t think I felt any sense of stress when planning the wedding. They made sure to triple check our details and explained everything throughout the process. The ceremony site was gorgeous and the reception was just as great. If I could do it all over again I would 100% go through Wedgewood again.

My husband and I loved every moment working with everyone at Black Forest! The venue and ceremony sites are gorgeous, and the forest backdrops made our pictures look like they were straight out of a fairytale. They made every decision so easy to make and allowed us to make the day truly OURS. Our day of coordinator, Kayla, was simply fantastic and even our guests and wedding party commented on how well she managed the day. We never felt stressed during the process, and we were able to enjoy the day we spent months planning. They genuinely cared about what we wanted and I can never thank them enough!

The Wedgewood at Black Forest was an absolute dream venue. From day one of the tour to the last minute of the wedding the attention to detail was phenomenal. If you want a wedding where all the little details are taken care of, this is your place. You have the option to use their preferred vendors or bring in your own (I would highly recommend all the preferred vendors, they have the most experience with the venue and flow so well with each other). The coordinators helped us have a flawless event. I have to shout out our day of coordinator Lindsey who helped to make my vision come to life. I could not have asked for a better coordinator. She helped ease my nerves when things were running behind and she helped to keep everybody in order. I cannot say enough good things about her! She made our day perfect. All the special touches, she went above and beyond! If you want an all inclusive venue look no further.

They made getting married easy! They had everything figured out, knew every question to ask us. They decorated the venue wonderfully and tore everything down. This made our day so much easier. I never expected to have so much fun at my wedding and it was truly because of how wonderful they were!

The best day only happens because of those that put so much effort to make it so! The staff at this venue are amazing and Kayla as our day coordinator was a doll and handled all the things that could go wrong! They made my dream wedding come true! The stress of planning a wedding was taken away as they have all the vendors picked out ( we did use a different photographer) but aside from that they take all the stress of having to compare prices and the end result is worth it all! The food and cake was better than could have expected! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!

My wedding was better than I could have ever imagined and I owe it all to Black Forest by Wedgewood! I feel confident saying that the team can handle any curve ball that is thrown at them. I woke up the morning of my wedding to 2 feet of snow and the team had it completely clear for me to walk down the aisle that afternoon. What made my experience that much better was getting to have Lindsey as my coordinator. My husband and I were able to bond with her over our love for everything Marvel and it made working with her so much fun. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience!

We were married 8/6/22 and I could not be happier with our decision to get married at Black Forest by Wedgewood. This absolute gem is nestled in the trees about 100 yards off the main road. This area of the forest was about a mile from the fire line, so all of the trees are undamaged. Inside is a beautiful grand entrance that leads to the indoor ceremony space one way, and the reception area the other. The bridal suite is just off the main hall and was spacious, with plenty of room to spread everything out, and an enormous mirror. The groom's suite is off the indoor ceremony area and has a foosball table. Lucky bastards! The building is shaped like an L, with the outdoor ceremony sight in the middle part. The gated off pool was a little odd (who goes swimming on their wedding day?), but found out it isn't really a pool, but a water retention feature for firefighting. It's both beautiful and a vital resource for our community. Emily gave us a tour and an estimate with the various packages, but didn't pressure us to book right away. We were encouraged to talk about it and let them know. Afterward we weren't bombarded with messages pressuring us to book. Once we decided to use them we were given a binder with a very specific timeline to follow. It walked us through step by step so we were sure not to miss anything. At every meeting we were given ample time to ask our question. Any time I emailed I heard back quickly. Every interaction we had with the staff was pleasant, and everyone was so knowledgeable. A month before the wedding we had a drastic change in plans, and they were able to guide me through my panic with calmness and compassion. My only real concern going into the day was the food. We went to the trial dinner and were less than impressed. The chef must have just had an off night because the food the day of was so good! On the day of the ceremony we were so fortunate to have Lindsey as our coordinator. She is just the sweetest thing and was always there to answer any questions and get me anything I needed. She really went above and beyond to make me feel so special. She and Becca did such a good job setting up the space. All we had to do was drop everything off the day before, and they took care of the rest. The whole team did an amazing job! The only thing I would change is the florist. I had an outside florist for everything except the centerpieces, and I'm glad I did. With their florist you don't get to pick flowers, you pick a color palette and they select everything else. I asked to use my own vases and they wanted to upcharge me by a lot because they would need more flowers. I ran the price they wanted to charge by my other florist and she about had a stroke. I paid over $600 for 13 MASON JARS of flowers and a thin runner down the head table. Now, if I get my pictures back and realize I was way wrong I will come back and update this. But reading other reviews I see I'm not the only one who was disappointed. I cannot stress enough how easy they made this. These are professionals and they CLEARLY know what they're doing. I never felt like I needed to tell them how to do their jobs, and I'm glad I didn't try. Every detail was perfect. Unless you are a professional event planner you will be wasting your time if you need to control every little thing. They've got this. Just sit back and enjoy your day!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Even though we planned for a small and simple wedding it turned out amazing. The whole team at Black Forest was wonderful and did such a great job with everything. Our wedding coordinator was Lindsey McKenna and we definitely recommend her. She went above and beyond with everything every step of the way. You will not be disappointed at all, it was everything we imagined!

5 stars and an A+ rating from us! My husband and I got married at this venue two weeks ago on July 2nd. We were engaged on April 2nd and started planning mid April. We were nervous and stressed about planning for a short engagement, but our coordinator Lindsey assured us that a 2.5 month engagement was very doable and was also genuinely excited for us! At that moment, we knew that we had found our venue. Lindsey helped us select the right package for our budget. She also helped us select the best meal and add-ons for our vision. Our personal favorites were the brunch buffet, donut wall and the coffee/cappuccino cart since we had a morning ceremony. I am not exaggerating when I say that we could not have pulled off this wedding without Lindsey's help. I work in accounting and event planning is my worst nightmare...LOL. Working with Lindsey at Wedgewood allowed me to be involved in all the fun aspects of wedding planning and leave the rest to the team! I also want to shout out our banquet captain Monique and our DJ Tyler. We were so impressed with every team member we worked with here. Would recommend Wedgewood Weddings to anyone who wants a quality wedding at a resonance price with very little stress. I actually enjoyed my season of engagement thanks to Wedgewood. A million thanks to the team at Black Forest!

We were recently married in June 2022 and worked with Wedgewood staff since about July 2021. The entire experience through all of the meetings, planning, and day of was amazing! We couldn't have asked for better staff or experience for our wedding. Especially appreciate Lindsey on the day of the wedding (also had another staff that helped her for the remainder of the evening who was also amazing but unfortunately I don't remember her name). Lindsey kept us on time, was attentive to details, and overall amazing. We truly appreciated her! The vendors that were part of our package were also amazing to include our florist, baker, and DJ-Annaliese. We had a great time, low stress through the planning and day of. Would absolutely recommend Wedgewood Blackforest and their staff if planning a wedding :)

My wedding day was incredible, and the team at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings was a major part of it! They did a phenomenal job in every aspect; the process was easy and stress-free, the venue was beautiful, the food and drinks were delicious, the communication was VERY reliable with me as well as my outside vendors, and they made me feel calm and confident with the entire experience. Lindsey was an amazing wedding coordinator, and I'm so grateful for all of her help and support! Perfect in every way. Wedgewood and the Black Forest team went above and beyond to help my husband and I every step of the way in planning and executing a beautiful, seamless, and memorable wedding. My fiancé and I held our wedding at Wedgewood of Black Forest Colorado on 30 April 2022 and it was an awesome experience. Our planning coordinator Lyndsey helped walk us through the entire process from start to finish. She helped keep us on track, providing us a myriad of options and kept all the usual planning challenges from stressing us out. The site was beautiful and the staff took care of everything. We purchased a wedding package that included everything from dinner, cake, flowers to a DJ. They setup and cleaned up everything. Lyndsey was our floor captain during the event with Katrina as her co-captain. Together they helped keep everything flowing without a hitch, making any last minute changes we requested without hesitation. Chef Frank provided an excellent meal with appraisers and main dishes that left no one hungry. The DJ Tyler kept everyone entertained and helped with cues to keep us on track with our timeline. The servers, bartender and staff, Michael, Karen, and Dave ensured all our guests were taken care of. They were always engaging and helpful, smiling as they helped us throughout the entire evening. Overall we can’t say enough about the location, amenities and staff at Wedgewood of Black Forrest Colorado. They did an awesome job and we are eternally grateful.

We had an absolutely magical night! I was very, very appreciative of all of the coordinators throughout the whole process, who were very prompt and helpful in responding to my many questions via email and phone call. Neither my husband nor I am from the Colorado Springs area, but that wasn't a problem at all during the planning stages. I especially loved working with our coordinator Lindsey, as she was always thorough and understanding, and very attentive to all our considerations and concerns, no matter how minute they might have been. As to the event staff, our food was delicious (especially the tortellini, which my husband and I fought over in our to-go boxes), the cake was perfect, and our captain Jackie made sure our cups were never empty and that everything was going according to plan. We were both very thankful for the to-go boxes and champagne that she gave us on our way out! I also heard wonderful things about our bartender Dave and our server Katrina from our guests, who were exceptionally pleased with their dinner and service as well. Additionally, Tyler was a wonderful DJ, very funny and flexible both before and during our reception. I think Tina probably took about a million pictures (there are bound to be some where we both have our eyes open), and we were both very appreciative that she was willing to brave the cold and get some stunning shots of us outside and at our church. I'd also like to mention Sam with Prive and her gorgeous floral arrangements, especially the wax flowers for my hair which turned out beautifully. Overall, we couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere other than the idyllic Black Forest setting at such a lovely venue with exceptional service!

The night of our wedding, all of the employees made sure we were taken care, from drinks to food to packing everything up at the end of the night. They contacted and worked with our outside vendors (photographers and videographer) so well and made sure everyone was informed of the schedule for the day. Our experience with Wedgewood was amazing and they made our night absolutely perfect. We knew it would be the best night of our lives, but Wedgewood definitely exceeded our expectations. The package options are very affordable and easy to customize. We would 100% recommend Wedgewood to anyone planning a wedding!

Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings was the best venue for our wedding! We are so happy that we chose this place. Emily and Jackie were there the night of our wedding and they were so helpful! They let us know the schedule, gave us direction on what to do or where to be, and we constantly making sure that my husband and I were good or if we needed anything. The venue itself is beautiful! We were able to have our dream snowy wedding and the beauty of the venue made it even more amazing. Through the whole planning process they were there to answer questions, make recommendations, help contact any vendors, and make the whole process stress free. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stress free planning process, and an amazing and beautiful venue!

I cannot give enough great feedback about Wedgewood and their staff. Kayla worked with us for over 2 years through covid shutdowns to let us have the most perfect day. Every detail was thought of, timelines put together for us, every question I had she had an answer for within a day if not sooner. I see so many women ask if a day of coordinator is necessary or if a wedding planner is necessary. YOU GET THEM with Wedgewood! And the price was not comparable based on other venues we looked at prior to Wedgewood. Not only the venue price, but by the time you add in ALL the other vendors necessary (DJ, catering, bartenders and liquor, linen, officiant, floral, the list goes on) the price can’t be beat. On top of that, I didn’t have to find the vendors, Wedgewood has it all done! Seriously, wedding planning made easy and affordable. Our guests are still talking about how nice the event was and how amazing the food was! Every detail is thought of and the staff is absolutely amazing. I feel like I made friends.

We had the most amazing day with Wedgewood! We had to reschedule our wedding twice because of COVID. Wedgewood was always flexible with moving our date and honoring our rates. We were super happy with how the day turned out. They had incredible service, food, and a beautiful venue. Our coordinator, Lindsey was so amazing to work with. When we had last minute drama, she really tried hard to work with us and make sure we had an incredible day. She was very patient and kind throughout the whole planning process. Katrina also did a great job managing our event later in the evening! I would highly recommend this venue to others.
