Black Point Inn

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Our wedding at the Black Point Inn completely exceeded our wildest expectations. Sam is absolutely exceptional. She is professional, warm, informed, patient, and so helpful. I would trust her with anything and she made us feel at ease throughout the two years we spent planning. Any issue that came up (even those that didn’t have to do with BPI), she offered to take on and solve with complete grace and professionalism. She genuinely made every one of our ideas work for us and made all of our dreams come true (not being cliche, seriously)! During the wedding weekend, she made us feel so calm, celebrated, and special. As a bride, people often ask you if you’re nervous, and my answer was always no because I knew Sam had our backs. She is truly an angel! The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be kinder. We did a buyout wedding so all the guests staying at the Inn were our wedding guests. They were treated with the highest level of hospitality and graciousness at every level of the establishment, from the front desk to the restaurant. I wouldn’t say we had any outlandish requests but I’m definitely someone who feels guilty asking for help, but the staff made me feel so at ease and offered to help with everything they possibly could to make the weekend run smoothly. I highly recommend using Marcia Davis as your florist! Not only is she an amazing person, but she is incredibly gifted and you can see her passion through her craft. Even better, she supplies BPI with their florals for the week (in the lobby etc) so if you work with her, she will match BPI’s flowers to your wedding colors and the whole Inn will be consistent with your look! The compliments we heard about BPI from our guests were truly never ending — so many had never been there before and told us they were going to come back again and again. We can definitely say the same! The food was amazing, the communication from every level of this venue was INCREDIBLE (throughout planning this is especially important) and I cannot say enough good things about this place.

BPI already held a special place in our hearts but now even more so after our incredible wedding experience. We had a full buyout of the inn for 3 nights and the staff was beyond incredible. They were attentive, organized and kind to all of the guests we had staying at the inn. Sam was so helpful leading up to our wedding, she was well organized and if anything went wrong throughout the weekend I surely didn’t know about it! Nothing beats BPI as far as location, service and food!

From the moment we toured the venue in Jan 2020, I knew I had to get married here. The Black Point Inn is a beautiful venue, but the people make it even better! Sam (wedding coordinator) and Josh (general manager) were absolutely great to work with! It rained early on in the day and they were willing to wait until the last possible second to allow us to have the wedding outside! And the rain cleared and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony! The food was incredible! And a great value for the quality/quantity that you are getting for the price. Guests raved that it was the best wedding food they had (lobster tail and filet mignon). The cocktail hour was incredible and the waiters were constantly going around offering passed appetizers. The raw bar wowed everyone. The best part of BPI is having everyone stay on site and making a whole weekend out of it. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Inn as well and the food was incredible then as well. The only tiny downsides I saw were that the cake (included in the price) was completely stale. We ordered whoopie pies from Two Fat Cats that were amazing, so it wasn't terrible, but keep this in mind. Also, we had ordered mini lobster rolls for the cocktail hour. The menu showed an actual bite-sized lobster roll, but we were served lobster puffs instead. The rest of the appetizers were incredible (especially the truffle grilled cheese that Sam recommended), so I would just choose something else instead. Overall, I would plan my wedding at BPI again in a heartbeat and can't wait to return in the future with my husband!

Unreal. Words can not describe how wonderful, perfect, amazing our wedding was at Black Point Inn. Josh was a lifesaver so many times with questions that I had or items that came up - always responding and having a "not a problem" attitude. Not only was Josh great, but the entire staff at Black Point Inn blew us away. Everyone was so kind, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We did our rehearsal dinner also at BPI along with Welcome Reception and everything flowed right into each other. Our guests were so impressed that we had some re-book for an weekend away in the Spring! The view, food, people, everything made Black Point Inn one of the most beautiful, perfect locations for a wedding. They really made our special day truly magical and it is something that I will be forever grateful for.
