If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Our wedding at the Black Point Inn completely exceeded our wildest expectations.
Sam is absolutely exceptional. She is professional, w...arm, informed, patient, and so helpful. I would trust her with anything and she made us feel at ease throughout the two years we spent planning. Any issue that came up (even those that didn’t have to do with BPI), she offered to take on and solve with complete grace and professionalism. She genuinely made every one of our ideas work for us and made all of our dreams come true (not being cliche, seriously)!
During the wedding weekend, she made us feel so calm, celebrated, and special. As a bride, people often ask you if you’re nervous, and my answer was always no because I knew Sam had our backs. She is truly an angel!
The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff could not be kinder. We did a buyout wedding so all the guests staying at the Inn were our wedding guests. They were treated with the highest level of hospitality and graciousness at every level of the establishment, from the front desk to the restaurant. I wouldn’t say we had any outlandish requests but I’m definitely someone who feels guilty asking for help, but the staff made me feel so at ease and offered to help with everything they possibly could to make the weekend run smoothly.
I highly recommend using Marcia Davis as your florist! Not only is she an amazing person, but she is incredibly gifted and you can see her passion through her craft. Even better, she supplies BPI with their florals for the week (in the lobby etc) so if you work with her, she will match BPI’s flowers to your wedding colors and the whole Inn will be consistent with your look!
The compliments we heard about BPI from our guests were truly never ending — so many had never been there before and told us they were going to come back again and again. We can definitely say the same!
The food was amazing, the communication from every level of this venue was INCREDIBLE (throughout planning this is especially important) and I cannot say enough good things about this place.
