We cannot speak highly enough about the team at Black Rock Country Club. We got married on 7/27/24 and we still cannot get over how perfect our day was. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, but it was the staff that really stood out to us. Erin Smith Roberts was amazing to work with from the start. She was responsive to all our questions and was great at providing helpful tips to make the planning process that much easier. BRCC offers a private tasting that was so fun for us and really made the planning feel special. The day of team was incredible as well. They went out of their way to make sure the day went smoothly and were so attentive to us. They made sure we were able to eat our meals and continued to deliver drinks to us, as well as to our parents, so that we never had to go up to the bar ourselves. The food was another huge plus. I have had so many of my guests tell me that the food was the best that they've ever had at a wedding. We are so grateful to everyone at BRCC for making our day absolutely perfect. – Laura & Kevin

As someone who doesn't particularly like planning, I ended up having so much fun planning the wedding with the help of the amazing Erin Smith Roberts. From the initial inquiry to final details on event day, Erin was just a joy to work with and made the planning process seamless. She is so responsive and didn't leave us with any unanswered questions! Some highlights for us: 1. Outdoor, covered ceremony space and cocktail hour deck, which make it possible to still have events outside in case of inclement weather. 2. THE FOOD! Our personal favorites were the grilled cheese and tomato shooters at cocktail hour, and the cod during dinner. 3. The tasting was a blast. Private tasting that we brought our parents too. 4. Extremely accommodating for specific requests and guest needs. Highly impressed by their ability to also serve delicious meal options for those with food sensitivities/allergies. 5. Day-of coordination (we had a team of Erin, Erin, and Abby) to seamlessly wrangle 160 guests throughout different spaces. 6. Great recommended vendors. 7. Ability to have a cigar bar, and sparkler exit. I cannot recommend BRCC enough- such a joyful wedding planning process, and wedding day, through and through!

I got married at Black Rock Country Club on June 8th and it was a dream! The venue itself is beautiful and the outdoor space really makes for a beautiful spot for a wedding. But the staff here take this venue over the top! I can't say enough about how incredible they all were. From the coordinators, to the staff serving dinner, the bar tenders, they were all incredible. I worked with Erin Smith Roberts leading up to my wedding, and she is a gem! She is quick to respond to emails and answers all questions you may have in a very timely manner. The week of my wedding she responded to an email on her day off which was above and beyond my expectations. I can't say enough about Erin, I didn't have any stress or worry leading up to my wedding because I knew she had taken care of every little detail! The day of my wedding Erin Farrell and Grace were on site, and again, I can't say enough about how incredible they both were! Everything ran so smooth because of them. Every time I turned around one of them was there asking if I needed anything! They were both amazing and the room looked incredible the way they set it up! The bar tenders and staff serving food were also great, they were all so pleasant and kind to us and our family and friends. They all went above and beyond and the day was a dream. My family is still talking about how wondering everyone was and how beautiful the venue is. It was exactly what we wanted and we can't thank them enough!

Black Rock Country Club, or shall I say Erin Smith Roberts, is literally the fastest and most thorough communicator I have come across. As a past event planner and current project manager myself, I really appreciated Erin's quick responses and detailed answers to my many... MANY questions. I left no stone unturned, lol. I would hire her in an instant if I had my own event planning business. Seriously incredibly fast at communicating (would email me late at night!) and so professional. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and shockingly affordable compared to other venues I looked at in Halifax, Canton, Stoughton, Plymouth, Hanson, etc. (essentially all over the South Shore). It had a lot to due with the fact that we chose the first tier package and also chose a Friday wedding - those two decisions saved us thousands of dollars that we could use elsewhere. I am very happy with how we budgeted for this and how impressive the venue looked. I will admit that our own pet peeve was that our drinks were forgotten when our server took our drink order during our picture taking, as well as our food was taken early (I assume it's because the dining room was closing out at this point, but I had specifically asked to not touch my food since I was saving it), so it was a huge bummer I didn't get to finish my salmon. The only other bummer is that you can't take pictures on the walkway where the golf carts drive (makes sense), but it would have been super cute. The food here was literally incredible, best wedding food I've had. All of my guests were impressed with it - and I can tell they were not just saying it. They voluntarily would tell us how much they liked the food. What was really cool about this venue is that we got to visit it however many times we wanted, including with our photographer. We also got to set up a little the day before (I was allowed to put my parents' place cards in specific seats where they could get a clear view of the dancefloor and the sweetheart table since they were at opposite sides of the ballroom). It was also great to practice our first dance while we were there dropping decor off the day before. We would definitely choose Black Rock Country Club all over again if we had the chance to relive our wedding day.

We had the most wonderful experience at Black Rock Country Club! From the moment we inquired they treated us with respect and were extremely helpful. This venue is like no other! Throughout the entire process I felt that our wedding was an important event at Black Rock and were treated accordingly. Erin communicated in a timely manner and was willing to answer any and all questions. She offered us tips, suggestions and was even helpful navigating all the personalities excited for your wedding day. The food was delicious and everyone we worked with at the club was professional and helpful. The package options were very helpful and made planning much easier! Our guests were more than impressed and we had the best day.

We wanted to send the whole Black Rock team the BIGGEST thank you! From the moment we reached out to inquire about hosting our reception, we felt like the team had every little thing under control and that they were going to execute our vision without any issues, even making it better in some instances 😊. This was particularly apparent day of - neither myself or the groom felt like we had to worry about things getting done, so we could really just take in the day with each other and our loved ones. The whole staff was amazing!! Every single person we came across at black rock was friendly, kind, and on top of things. From the moment we walked in the door the team made sure we were taken care of, providing recommendations to make sure the night kept running smoothly, even making sure we took time to eat and drink (which we probably would have forgotten to do without them). We could not have asked for a better day, and the Black Rock team is a huge reason behind that so again THANK YOU ALL!!!

We could not say enough amazing things about Black Rock Country Club! Erin was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process- right up until hours before when we had to prepare for a potential hurricane that was projected to hit! Erin not only reassured me we would make it all work, but took all the stress off my hands! The food was incredible, the service was top notch, & the views that we were lucky enough to experience with a 180 turn in the weather were outstanding ! I want to say how much I appreciated and am thankful for the entire support from the day my daughter and her fiancé secured Blackrock Country Club as their wedding venue, up to the "crazy" day of, and even after with my constant questions. Erin was always in constant communication with us, took care of every need that we discussed, and of course anticipated issues and was proactive with all our wedding needs. What I am most impressed about was her calming people skills – even in the most trying of times during a rainy day. Her demeanor kept all of us confident that things were going to be beautiful and still to our liking and desires despite what the day was going to throw at us. She was on top of every little thing that needed to get accomplished – which was very reassuring to me since this was first child getting married.

Black Rock Country Club is amazing. My now husband and I couldn’t imagine another location for our special day! The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. Erin R., the event coordinator, was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. Nikki - the head attendant, Grace - the wedding day coordinator, and Erin F. - the wedding assistant helped us run all the logistics on the event day. They also ensured everything set up properly and ran smoothly on the wedding day. Thank you for everything you all did to make our reception so beautiful. Highly recommend this venue if you are getting married in this area.

Oh my goodness, we could not have had a better experience for the wedding reception we held at Black Rock Country Club. From the initial visit, to the tasting to the last minute details to the fantastic reception, I cannot imagine a more professional, compassionate team. I planned my daughter's wedding from out of state, and Erin and her team were incredibly attentive to my needs and questions. They are wonderful communicators and extremely patient. I always felt as if I was their top client. The reception for our 87 guests was beautiful and the food was wonderful. The venue offered a wonderful flow for the event. The dance floor was crowded the entire evening, while the people who wanted to visit had the opportunity to enjoy the covered veranda with the beautiful scenery of the golf course. I give the highest recommendation to Black Rock Country Club for any gathering you want to host. I will not hesitate to throw a baby shower at Black Rock...when the time comes!

You would never know it was a gloomy and rainy day on our wedding day because of all the natural sunlight in the ballroom. From the moment we toured the building, we fell in love with how beautiful yet simple everything looked. It wasn’t over the top. Another deal breaker was how kind and flexible their staff is. Erin Smith Roberts was very responsive and never pushy. She made me feel comfortable with the entire planning process. On our wedding day, we felt the love and support from the entire staff. They went the extra mile to make sure our wedding party and family members were taken care of. Erin F took amazing care of our two young little boys. The chefs made delicious food that all the guests raved about. Maggie, Grace and all of the servers delivered excellence service. It was a night we will remember and cherish forever. Thank you BRCC!

Could not have asked for a better wedding venue! Erin was super helpful through the whole process and was extremely responsive to all questions/concerns. We had a winter wedding, meaning that we had the entire clubhouse to use for ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner/dancing and they kept the flow from one room to another seamless for guests. The food was amazing as well! People are talking about how good everything tasted. i cannot thank everyone at Black Rock enough for all they did in helping us have the best wedding ever! I’m just sad I can’t do it all again year after year!!

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Black Rock for our wedding. Erin Smith Roberts was a joy to work with when planning the wedding and made everything so stress free that I actually started to get nervous that I wasn't more stressed out in the weeks leading up to the wedding -- but there was no reason to be! Communication was excellent and prompt throughout the entire process; we had an April wedding and were hoping for an on-site outdoor ceremony and they made sure we were updated about when the tent would go up, how the weather was looking, and so on. Everything went off without a hitch. We had such a fun, no-stress day with the help of the amazing staff who all truly went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. All of our guests are still raving about how much fun they had, how lovely the venue was, how great the staff was, and how efficient and delicious dinner was. We are so glad that we chose BRCC for our big day and 100% recommend it to any other couple considering it.

There are not enough good things to say about BRCC! Black Rock Country Club was only the second venue we toured but I knew immediately after seeing it that it was our wedding venue. From the views, to the food, to the coordination of everything from booking to the day of the wedding, it was excellent. I worked mostly with Erin S. who answered all of my emails and helped me make our vision and wedding day absolutely perfect! I also got to work with Maggie & Erin F. who were also fantastic! You truly don’t get a better wedding staff than those three. The whole team is extremely organized, professional, and makes the whole wedding process stress free, which is a huge help with how many parts there are to wedding planning. They nailed everything from the big details to the small details. The day of ran so smoothly, and my guests had an absolute blast. I honestly can’t say enough good things about BRCC, and neither can my guests!!

Black Rock Country Club was the perfect wedding venue for us! The 3 separate spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all beautiful. Our guests loved the cocktail hour on the deck under the awning. Erin Smith went above and beyond to make the day as seamless as possible. She was easy to contact and prompt with responses throughout the entire planning process. Couldn’t ask for a better person to plan a wedding with! Black Rock was an AMAZING venue!! Everything went perfectly on the day of and I know that was because of the incredible staff at Black Rock! We had a short engagement so we only had a few months to plan the wedding but everything was seamless. Erin was so helpful, efficient, organized, responsive, and on top of everything! We used the preferred vendors and they were all amazing too! That made wedding planning so much easier. We also had our rehearsal dinner in the smaller even room and it was wonderful! I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Black Rock!

I cannot recommend Black Rock enough for your wedding venue. The staff, especially the two Erin's and Maggie, were a pleasure to work with. My wedding was an absolute blast! The staff Erin S, Erin F, Maggie were absolutely amazing since day 1. It has taken me a long time to write this review because I wanted to make sure I expressed how amazing Black Rock was to work with for our wedding. But that's the thing, there are no words to describe just how incredible they are. Our experience with them was truly unmatched. We worked with Erin and Erin for our wedding and they both went above and beyond to make sure we had the most magical evening. The whole staff there was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They made sure our whole experience was completely stress free. Not to mention, the venue itself is stunning. We had the best night celebrating with family and friends and thanks to them it was utterly flawless. We cannot say thank you enough!

There are not enough words to thoroughly express my gratitude for the staff at Black Rock. As someone who had very little idea of what I wanted for my wedding, the staff helped me hypothesize what I wanted to do with the reception and ceremony areas, and made my vision come to life the day of the wedding. Erin, Erin and Maggie were amazing leading up to the event, the day of the wedding, and even the days after the event. Aside from the wonderful staff, the venue is absolutely breathtaking. I received so many compliments about the outside deck area overlooking the beautiful views of the golf course, and about the inside venue space as well! If I had to do it all over again, I would pick Black Rock every time.

Working with the event staff at Black Rock Country Club was nothing short of amazing. After three postponed wedding dates due to COVID-19, we were finally able to have our dream wedding celebration. Colleen and Erin were always a phone call or email away to answer any and every question I had, making wedding planning that much easier. The day of our event was absolutely flawless. Erin and Maggie's impeccable attention to detail truly made all of my wedding dreams come true. I cannot express enough how exceptional Black Rock was at hosting my wedding. I am a surgeon in Charlotte, NC and therefore was only home once before my wedding date about 6 months prior. Erin and Colleen took care of EVERYTHING and it was all above and beyond my expectations. There were no mishaps. Everything was beautiful, professional, and went perfectly smoothly. The Black Rock Events team was a pleasure to work with. They are organized, punctual, and accommodating. It was wonderful to have them keep regular communication with reminders and updates. Coordinating so many vendors and parts to a wedding is a challenge and they made the experience much better. The venue itself is gorgeous and our photos have come out lovely so far.

My husband and I got married on New Year’s Eve 2019 at Black Rock. We could not have LOVED our wedding day more. They went above and beyond our expectations. During the prep, we meet with Kim, the Wedding Coordinator. I cannot express how much I love her. Kim was always on point making sure we were a step ahead of everything. Kim had many suggestions that we never thought of. She would answer my crazy questions every step of the way even when the question was repetitive, I am a control freak! Everyone says wedding planning was challenging, we can honestly say that was not the case with Kim and her crew. We did not stress about anything with the venue because we knew Kim had everything taken care of. The day of we were blessed with Maggie and her team. Maggie made sure everything went off without a hitch that everything and everyone knew what to do and where they needed to be. We were on time and relaxed the entire day. Our wedding could not have been more perfect. From start to finish working with the team at Black Rock they were well organized, compassionate and always willing to help. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding. If you couldn’t tell, 100% recommend this venue. In love and obsessed.

We had our small family wedding at Blackrock in October 2019, and I couldn't have been a happier bride. Blackrock took care of so many details I hadn't even thought of. We had the Bridal Room all day for dressing, make-up and hair studio where we were served drinks and breakfast treats. The Wedding coordinator was so professional, experienced, and helpful. The staff were friendly, considerate and flexible. The deck was perfect for our ceremony, with cocktail our and luncheon inside with views of the golf course. Our photographs on the golf course and by the firepit are gorgeous. The food spectacular.a perfect Wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at BRCC this past November. The venue was very beautiful that time of year and had a lot of foliage for those looking for a fall wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests could not stop raving about the delicious appetizers and entrees. We knew that BRCC had a reputation for their food and they did not disappoint! We worked with Kim for over a year planning this wedding and it was such a pleasant and organized process. Maggie was our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful and made our day so stress-free! Thank you BRCC for creating such a beautiful and perfect wedding for us.

My husband and I got married at Black Rock Country Club on 11/9/19 and we had an absolutely AMAZING day!!! The staff at BRCC were beyond helpful and really assisted us with creating the most beautiful night of our lives. They made sure to work within our price point while paying attention to the things that were most important to us. Planning our special day was easy and staff was always available to answer questions via email or phone contact. The grounds are amazing and the ballroom was the perfect size. I had been to 2 weddings there previously - one was an August wedding and the other a NYE wedding. Both were wonderful. The food was fantastic (though mine was cold by the time I got to it, which was my fault). If it had not been for Kim (the event coordinator), I may have chosen some place else. She was very nice, enthusiastic, down to earth, and was open to all of our ideas. She really made it a special day. The only downside was the A/C wasn’t working right away so everyone was very hot (who lucks out with an 85degree Sept wedding?!?) and the cleanup crew threw out a sentimental item from wedding. Overall, I was so happy with BRCC and Kim and we had an amazing day!!

Our wedding at Black Rock Country Club was spectacular! Kim was extremely responsive and meticulous from start to finish. She worked hard to make sure the day was perfect. I am a student and was on a budget! Kim made sure to offer all options and gave great ideas on how to save on decor. She was also always available by phone. The venue itself is simply gorgeous and well maintained. I really loved that Black Rock Country Club hosts one wedding at a time. Our guests felt very comfortable and had access to the entire space. I was also thankful that Black Rock Country Club was so welcoming to our diverse bridal party and guests. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. The food was delicious and served with great care and efficiency. The culinary team worked to deliver an incredible dinner. The bar staff was also very friendly and made awesome drinks. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with choosing Black Rock Country Club to host our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Our day was seamless! Thank you BRCC!

A dream come true! Kim and her team did a phenomenal job! I would pick Black Rock Country Club a million times over! My wedding was absolutely stunning in every aspect. I cannot thank them enough!! It was so perfect.

We got married at Black Rock on July 7, 2018. I cannot thank Kim and her team enough for so effortlessly organizing the wedding of our dreams. From the first visit to Black Rock, we were very impressed with Kim’s eye for detail. Kim was always in contact during the planning stages and coordinated with all the necessary vendors. For me, it was really important to have Kim’s help as I was finishing up my master’s degree just a few months before the big day. I was really nervous that something was going to go wrong, but I can honestly say that our wedding went off without a hitch. Black Rock is such a gorgeous location and our guests loved the cocktail hour on the terrace. The food was absolutely amazing – and there’s a separate set up for the bridal party during cocktail hour so you don’t have to miss out on the hors d’oeuvres! Between the venue itself, the food and Kim – Black Rock is the perfect place to have your own amazing wedding with unforgettable memories.

We got married at Black Rock in March 2018, and we are so happy that we chose this venue. The building and the views are beautiful and elegant, however it is really the people that made this such an enjoyable place to host our wedding. Kim did a PHENOMENAL job at planning and coordinating. From the moment she met with us to tour the venue, throughout the entire planning process, and the day of the wedding, Kim was fantastic to work with. I was an out of town bride, so I really appreciated having a coordinator who was attentive to detail, helped provide recommendations and ideas when we were stuck, and who kept us to our planning timelines. I delivered my decor items the day before the wedding, and when I arrived on the wedding day, the reception room was completely set up and decorated exactly how I wanted and envisioned it to be. On the day of the wedding, she was onsite for the whole wedding and ensured that everything ran smoothly and on time. It was very important for us to dance with our guests, and keeping to our schedule ensured that we were able to optimize our time on the dance floor. She also worked with our external vendors, ensuring that everyone was on the same page. We held our ceremony in the same room as our reception, which I was nervous about initially that it would be chaotic to change over the room or that our decor wouldn’t be set up nicely, but Kim and her team did a phenomenal job in changing over the room as quickly as possible while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Both the ceremony and the reception were so beautifully done that you wouldn’t even know it was the same room. The food was delicious as well. We opted for the short ribs and bruschetta for our passed appetizers, and offered the Statler Chicken and Salmon & Scallop dish as our mains. We’re so glad we did because everything was amazing and prepared so well. The serving staff and bartenders were great too! They were all incredibly nice and professional. There was a great variety of beers and wines offered that appealed to all of our guests. The only thing we wish is that we could have had more time dancing at the venue!

Our wedding day experience at Black Rock Country Club was a 10 out of 10! We had the most magical winter wedding in December thanks to the hardworking and dedicated team at BRCC. It is clear that the staff at BRCC genuinely work to create the perfect day to match each individual bride and groom. We had been to other weddings and events at BRCC, but our wedding felt like a completely different and special experience. The venue is beautiful and the staff is so incredible accommodating. Our day was simply perfect, and we can't thank BRCC enough!

I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the planner, Kim! From the very beginning, we loved the venue itself, but working with Kim and her team brought our dream wedding all together better than we could have imagined. The team here is extremely well organized, professional and I truly felt carefree during my entire wedding - amazing! All of the food was outstanding and I’ve had a number of guests comment on this since. We had a December wedding and both our ceremony and reception were on site. The transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing were all seamless. I highly recommend this venue not only for its physical appeal but also for the phenomenal wedding team - Kim is so on the ball and knows her stuff!!

Black Rock was perfect. Kim was a pleasure to work with, and made sure all the night’s transitions were seamless. Even the band told us that she was the best they’ve worked with. The venue itself was perfect for our December wedding, because we got to use all of the rooms. We also got the first snow of the season! Highly reccomend!!

Our wedding at Black Rock Country Club was absolutely gorgeous! I could not recommend the venue more. The country club itself is absolutely stunning. The views from the ceremony site and ballroom were gorgeous, we barely had to decorate since the venue is so beautiful on its own. Our older guests loved being able to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the views of the course after dinner while the younger crowd was inside dancing and partying. The food was AMAZING and there was plenty of it! Kim, the wedding coordinator, is so unbelievably organized and professional. She was amazing to work with and did such a great job of making sure our wedding ran smoothly. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, both my husband and I had such a blast. We've heard nothing but rave reviews from our family and friends. 100% would recommend to anyone I know getting married. Thank you, Black Rock for helping us have such a beautiful wedding!

Black Rock Country Club is an exceptional venue. We initially were thinking a spring wedding but fell in love with the idea of a winter wedding in the gorgeously decorated Grille Room. Our guests enjoyed the ambience and absolutely loved the delicious food! Even months later, we are still hearing about how wonderful the food was. Kimberly, the wedding coordinator, is simply amazing! She walked us through every step of the planning, helped keep us on schedule, was always available for questions, and coordinated with our other vendors. Kimberly left us confident that all we had to do was show up and enjoy our reception, which is exactly what we did! The entire staff is spectacular, they work hard to make everything perfect, we are so glad we picked Black Rock Country Club for our wedding reception!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Black Rock Country Club on April 2, 2017. It was PERFECT! The whole process was a breeze working with the event coordinator, Kim. She was always very responsive and very accommodating to allow our style/vision to come through. The day of the wedding was just amazing! The food was absolutely outstanding and is not your run of the mill 'wedding' fair. All the waitstaff were lovely and professional, without being intrusive. If you want high quality, stress free planning, amazing food, and beautiful atmosphere I highly recommend Black Rock Country Club for a wedding ceremony/reception.

Venue was stunning and the food was beyond amazing. The staff at Blackrock truly went above and beyond to make our night perfect. Kim was extremely organized and knowledgeable in helping us to achieve our perfect aesthetic. She and Amanda were super attentive on the night of, as was the entire event staff. Black Rock was the perfect venue for our wedding! After seeing a few other venues the same day, we walked into Black Rock not expecting much. After touring the venue and meeting with Kim, we were in love! Kim had answers to all of our questions and every solution to every little thing that could go wrong on our big day. It was so comforting to know that we would be in capable hands. The day of could not have gone more smoothly and it could have looked more perfect! Kim took all my ideas and brought them to life. Everything was so perfect. The food was out of this world, my guests raved about it for the weeks following. A lot of them said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Kim and the whole Black Rock gang made our day the best it could have been! I would highly recommend it to everyone and anyone!

Our wedding was more wonderful than we could have ever dreamed of and Black Rock Country Club could have not been more perfect for it! Of course you cannot beat the setting: the clubhouse overlooking the course is simply beautiful – and we were lucky to have a wonderful sunset to watch right from the deck where we held the cocktail hour. But what really made Black Rock so special was the service we received and the staff we worked with. From our food and wine tasting months before the big day to the help we got packing up our things once the big event was over, everything was taken care of. Everything was handled highly professional ensuring us that we were in good hands and with that reduced the stress of the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding every detail was exactly as we had imagined, the food and drinks were outstanding and we did not have to worry about a single thing. The staff made everything look easy which gave the event a relaxed and fun vibe overall. Black Rock Country Club & its outstanding team made our wedding a truly wonderful and memorable event, not only for us, but for everyone in attendance. We wouldn’t have done anything different!

Perfection! We got married 2 weeks ago and we have not stopped receiving compliments about the venue. The credit all goes to Kim and the whole staff at BRCC! Every person we interacted with was extremely professional and helpful, and I felt like everyone genuinely cared about our day being perfect. The whole planning process couldn't have been easier. The pricing is very clear and up front, no surprises. Kim is awesome to work with, she would reply to all of my crazy bride emails, always so helpful and kind. She is a professional and she did an amazing job of bringing my vision to light. The food was awesome. The quality was amazing, everyone loved it. This venue is very classy - the view, the room, the decor, the staff and service... everything about it was incredible. The cocktail hour deck is so picture perfect, definitely the wow-factor. I do not have enough good things to say about Black Rock, I would recommend to anyone!

Brides - say I DO to this perfect venue! I originally scheduled a tour of Black Rock Country Club, set on a summer wedding since the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. However, after entering the Clubhouse, I immediately fell in LOVE with the Grille Room, which is only available for weddings in December. I loved the Grille Room so much that I walked out of that visit with a winter date booked - December 31, 2015, New Year's Eve! What really sold me on the winter wedding at Black Rock was the use of the ENTIRE Clubhouse facility. We were able to have our ceremony in the cozy Grille Room, our cocktail hour in the lobby, our dinner in the ballroom, then our dancing/reception back in the Grille Room. The flow of the night and the change of the rooms added a "wow" factor which our guests loved and raved about! They had never been to a wedding where dinner and dancing were in two separate places, and it was a huge hit! The food at Black Rock was absolutely spectacular! We served the sweet potato raviolis as our first plated appetizer and I am positive that our guests are still thinking about them/drooling over them to this day! (I know I am!) We served the filet mignon and the chicken & shrimp melange as the main entrees and we had soo many compliments about how amazing each dish was. I was told that the food served at our wedding was one of the best meals our guests had EVER had - and I must of had over a dozen guests tell me that! The service and professionalism at Black Rock was impeccable, starting with Kimberly Cangiano. She is absolutely amazing and a bride's dream come true! She helped me plan my wedding from 400+ miles away, and she was with me every step of the way. She was always available when I needed and even adjusted her schedule to accommodate me when I was in town. Kimberly's timeliness and organization was the reason why our day went off without so much as a hiccup! She coordinated with all my vendors which took the pressure off of me. I wasn't nervous leading up to my wedding and I know that Kimberly is the reason. I knew that she had everything handled. Also, Marie was our designated server for the night. She was super attentive and professional, and constantly checked in with me, my husband, and my bridal party to ensure that we had everything that we needed throughout the entire night. She was a true blessing! Black Rock Country Club was everything I dreamed of and so much more! I have been told time and time again that my wedding was THE best wedding my guests had ever been to. It was the most perfect night and if I could do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat :-)

My husband and I recently had our wedding ceremony and venue at Black Rock Country Club in December 2015. It was the picture perfect location for our Winter Wonderland theme wedding. From the first time that we visited and got a chance to meet the wedding coordinator Kimberly, we knew that Black Rock would be the perfect location for us. We first visited in the Fall of 2014 and Kimberly invited us to come back when the venue would be decorated for a December wedding. The venue was practically already decorated for us with beautiful garland, Christmas trees and wreaths. Kimberly was available every step of the way, and answered all of my emails and questions throughout the planning process. She provided a timeline for me to share with the rest of my vendors, which made the day go so smoothly it was unbelievable. She was able to recommend several local vendors, who I really enjoyed working with. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and a joy to work with throughout the process of planning and on the wedding day. The food was amazing, and we loved getting the chance to try a variety of meals. The appetizers were the most delicious food I have ever had, and all of the guests raved about the food from the appetizers to the dessert. I would absolutely recommend a wedding at Black Rock Country Club. It was a perfect day thanks to all of the staff there!

My husband and I had our wedding at Black Rock Country Club on 9/18/15. Working with Kim (their wedding coordinator) and Maire (the Banquet captain) was absolutely fantastic. They took such great care of us from the initial tour of the venue all the way up through the wedding itself. Kim and Maire both provided us with great advice and ideas all throughout the entire process. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, we held the ceremony at their outdoor pavilion and then moved to the back terrace for cocktail hour, and then into dining room for dinner and dancing. The customer service they provided was impeccable. Both of our parents were raving after the fact about how attentive they were and able to keep everything running smoothly and on-time. Also, the food was amazing and definitely not your typical wedding food. We got compliments from so many guests. I would highly recommend BlackRock to anyone looking to host a wedding or special event. We had a perfect day!

My husband and I got married on Black Rock on August 1st. We worked with both Kim and Colleen, the wedding coordinators. Both were extremely professional and in tune to what we wanted to make sure we had a perfect and memorable night. Maire, the head server, attended to our every need throughout the night. She was kind, thoughtful, and always made us laugh. She is also a true professional. Black Rock's food and service is outstanding. In addition, the venue lent itself to the most beautiful wedding pictures. We were so happy to have our wedding at Black Rock and would highly recommend it!

I got married at the Black Rock Country Club on June 21st, 2014. The wedding as a whole was an extraordinary success. The team at the Black Rock did an exceptional job at being professional and proactive from food tasting to the actual wedding. Kimberly, the wedding coordinator made sure all we wanted was set exactly as expected. She went above and beyond by proposing alternatives to help save on cost and used her creativity to make our wedding unique. As a picky eater, I wanted a wide variety of food with the spicy taste of the Caribbeans; I got good food with awesome presentation. My guests enjoyed their food and signature drinks which matched our wedding theme. Rest assured no matter the wedding theme, the bartender will come up with a signature drink to match. We are still getting compliments from our guests for making them live such a great experience. Black Rock was the best decision ever made.

We could not have asked for a better location to celebrate our wedding reception. The staff, location, food, and coordination by Kimberly Cangiano was superb. Our guests raved about every aspect of Black Rock, especially the views and seamless service. They catered to our bridal party and families better than we could have imagined. We did not have to worry about a thing and feel so blessed Black Rock Country Club was a perfect part of our perfect day.

I cannot begin to explain how perfect our wedding day at Black Rock Country Club was. The Black Rock team, led by the club coordinator, Kim Cangiano, were amazing from start to finish. They were professional, extremely easy to communicate with, and remembered every single item and detail I asked for and wanted. My guests were blown away by the service and food. They still cannot stop talking about it. Black Rock is unlike any other club in and around the city. Kim and her staff truly made me feel like I was the only bride-to-be she was working with. They catered to time and detail changes (as there were many), food allergies, last minute décor additons, and a very large bridal party (24 in total). Kim knew exactly the style I was going for and would even call/e-mail me when she thought she had an idea or was hosting a wedding where she thought there would be a detail I might love. She even purchased a chandelier a few weeks prior to our wedding as she knew it would perfectly tie in our décor. As someone who is very picking and knows exactly what I want, I was blow away with the ballroom, service, and everything leading up to our big day. Thank you so much Kim and Black Rock for making our wedding day so incredibly perfect! I cannot say it enough, but Black Rock truly is the most amazing country club! If we could do it all over again, we would! Thanks so much! :)

My husband Dan and I had our wedding reception at Black Rock Country club on August 31st, 2014. When we were looking at wedding venues, we fell in love at first sight with Black Rock. The golf course was beautifully maintained and the club house provided the perfect space for us to celebrate with our guests. After we met with Kim Cangiano, the wedding coordinator at Black Rock, we knew we had to have our reception at this venue. Kim made the planning process so easy, her attention to detail was remarkable. Sure enough, on our wedding day everything flowed perfectly thanks to Kim and the Black Rock team, from the cocktail hour to the last dance. Our guests also raved about the food at the wedding. I was told numerous times how flavorful the steak was and how delicious the appetizers were. Black Rock was the perfect venue for our wedding and I would recommend to any couples currently looking at wedding venues!

Where do I begin, I met with Kim at Black Rock last summer, I liked it, but I loved the Grille Room…Unfortunately you can only book the Grille Room in December and I wanted a fall wedding…I met with a couple other places, and not one of the coordinators left the impression that Kim left on me…I later called Kim, set my date and I could not have been more happier.. Kim was amazing up until the day of my wedding; she sent me contact info for her favorite vendors, whom I all went with…I was not unhappy with one person she recommended. She coordinated with every vendor to make sure my day went off without any issues. I even had some VERY last minute song changes (like the morning of my wedding) she coordinated with Mike to change it. Also, we had a very large wedding party 36 people, we were very loud, and all very excited (I married into a big Italian family)… Kim literally took charge with our wedding party, she yelled to get the perfect pictures, and to make sure we were in line for the DJ. On to the food, it was amazing!!! We picked the chicken and sirloin…Everyone of our guests commented on how delicious the food….We also loved Marie, she was amazing, she is like your own personal assistant, and will bring you any and everything….We were taking pictures outside, and she had a plate reserved just for us, everyone kept going up to her and asking for some and she kept saying no, this is for the bridge and groom, they need to eat, which was good because I was starving. When it was dinner time, she Marie came up to us again and told us we better sit down if we want to eat our first course and literally pulled us away from the table we were at. The food was delicious and Marie was so attentive to everything we needed and added bonus. Black Rock is a true hidden gem, it is the perfect setting for a memorable wedding…

We had the most perfect time at our daughter's wedding recently. From the minute we signed the contract until the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. Kim the wedding planner is fantastic! She went above and beyond to make out imd special , her expert advise , reassuring and calming manner, made everything run smoothly, even with a total of 36 people in the wedding party .. The food was delicious , our room captain Maura, was at our service for the smallest need. Our guest are still calling and complimenting us saying , that was the best wedding. We would highly recommend Black rock country club.

Black Rock is a beautiful venue to host a wedding! Everything was perfect and the food wonderful. Kim, wedding coordinator, is the best and Black Rock is so lucky to have her. She was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and the Bride and Groom as well parents appreciated her professional managing of such an important day. All the guests raved about the cocktail hour on the large deck and praised the selection and quality of the appetizers. The food is fantastic.

We looked and looked and looked at venues, and then we found Black Rock Country Club! We selected it for the facility's beautiful setting, new construction, ability to have the reception, cocktail hour, and ceremony all on-site in air conditioning, but we rave about it because of how Kim and her team made our big day flawless. Leading up to the day (which was 2 years in the making), Kim did everything she could to be accommodating. And while we are very detail-oriented, Kim had us matched, asking about napkin folds, sash ties, and length of our first dance, when we had no clue these details were options or would impact the flow of the event. Clearly, she has done a lot of weddings and knows what's important and when to get you to focus on certain elements. And the entire staff made us and our family feel very well cared for, whether dropping off items in the days leading up to the wedding or during our numerous visits prior to the wedding. Additionally, the facility is so well maintained and we kept getting compliments of how beautiful everything is -- from the manicured grounds, to new carpeting in the ballroom, to clean and well-appointed bathrooms, and beyond. All in all, Black Rock offers immense service and quality at a reasonable price. After a long search and thinking we'd never find a place that would meet everyone's expectations, we are so happy to have been married at Black Rock.

I was married this past July and both my ceremony and reception were held at the Black Rock. I could not be more thrilled with my choice as it served as the perfect venue for the best day of my life! Kimberly, the wedding planner, is absolutely amazing. She was always readily available by email and was extremely proactive in planning and coordinating. So many details go into planning a wedding but with Kimberly, there is so much less stress. She really takes the brunt of the work. She is also very creative. She completely understood my rustic vision and helped create a lot of the decor including making a chalkboard menu and ceremony program for me. Kimberly even ran to Michael's on the day of my wedding to grab a couple last minute decor items. Her dedication and pride in her work is clear. Also, Maire, the banquet coordinator, was unbelievable as well. When I met her at my food tasting, I did not realize what an important part of the wedding day she would become. She was there all day and all night bringing my bridal party and I whatever we needed while we got ready and attending to any need we might have during the reception. She was so kind and professional. The Black Rock is not only a beautiful venue but it has an amazing staff truly dedicated to helping you have the perfect wedding. I would highly recommend it!

After searching and searching, we were sick of all the same types of places coming up in the searches. On a whim we checked out this place, and man, we knew instantly this was the spot. The venue was absolutely amazing, and I cant say enough about Kimberly, Maura, and the rest of the staff, outstanding! Food was awesome, service was awesome, venue was perfect, could not have gone any better. Price was a bit less or right in line with other places we looked at, which is crazy, cause they could easily get double what they charge! overall experience was 10/10 and would do it all over in heartbeat, no questions asked!

Black Rock was a dream come true. I loved everything about the venue. My wedding was the only wedding that day and all attention was to making my day perfect. We could get ready at the venue, and all staff was very accommodating. The food was awesome, they made special desserts for my dad and husband at my request, and the tasting was very personal and a great way to get to know the wedding coordinator. Absolutely loved everything about Black Rock!

Black Rock Country Club did an exceptional job with every aspect of our wedding. I received so much help leading up to the day-- from the tasting, to selecting linens and decor, to deciding on the layout for the room, and figuring out the day of timeline--- to make our wedding fit my vision perfectly. The day of, everyone worked so hard to make sure the day was effortless and smooth, for both the wedding party and family and all of our guests. The service is exceptional and professional-- and they make everything look seamless. I was confident that everything would be taken care of and did not need to worry about anything on the day of.

AMAZING! After having an 1 ½ hour walk through site visit with Kim Cangiano in April 2013, we knew we wanted to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the Black Rock Country Club. We were thinking of having our wedding in May or June of 2014, never thinking of a winter wedding. Kim mentioned to us how we could have a winter wedding at the BRCC and low and behold… we had a gorgeous winter wonderland wedding in December 2013. “Absolutely magical” is the word that our guests described our special day. From the day we told Kim that we were going to book our wedding, she was with us every single step of the way. Literally. She was always available via phone, email, and even dealt with my Homegoods, TJMaxx photos that I would text her to see if decorations would work out. We touched based with each other pretty much every other day with details about the big day. There was not one request that Kim hesitated on. Kim kept us on a timeline and would check in with Ryan and I to see how she could help. She was in contact with my DJ (Entertainment Specialists- Derek Holt), Painter, Winston Flowers (Caitlyn Bransfield), Photographer (Meg Belanger Photography), Justice of the Peace (Jim D’Attilio) to coordinate times etc with them for the day of. We can’t say enough how at ease we felt knowing that she was working behind the scenes to make everything perfect and that she would be with us on the day of the wedding ensuring everything went smoothly. On the day of the wedding. Wow! A beautiful snow storm came our way that Saturday which ended up being spectacular for photos outside. The entire country club was a festive, classy, white and gold Christmas wonderland. From the Grille Room where the ceremony was to the Ballroom where dinner was, the space looked even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Kim and her staff are very detailed oriented. She made sure we knew where we were supposed to be when we needed to be there. We were blessed to have Marie who was a staff member at the club to be our designated server for the night. She took such good care of us. Right after the ceremony she took Ryan and I under her wing and made sure we were plenty full at the cocktail hour and of course made sure we had a beverage in our hand. The food was amazing! Cooked perfectly. We could not have received anymore compliments of how the food was so delicious. Ryan and I could not be happier with our gorgeous winter wonderland wedding at the Black Rock Country Club in December 2013. Planning our event with Kim Cangiano at Black Rock was a breeze.
