Venue was beautiful and super accommodating for all our needs. Donna , the wedding coordinator at the venue, is absolutely amazing ! She did an amazing job setting up our dream wedding and ensured it went successfully without any issues.

Black Swan Country Club helped to make our wedding amazing! We got married on 9/21 and it ended up raining all day. Donna was extremely proactive calling me early enough in the day to talk through options for the ceremony, which was supposed to be outdoors. Donna and the team at Black Swan did an amazing job setting up for the ceremony and made the room look beautiful. They very seamlessly tuned the room from the ceremony over to the reception. The food was absolutely delicious. Our guests were raving about the flavor of the hors d'ouvres and their meals. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking!

Everything about our wedding at the Black Swan was simply perfect. Working with our coordinator Donna made things such a breeze. The venue is stunning. The food is incredible. And the staff could not be more professional and kind. We have already recommended the Black Swan to a few couples we know who are getting married, and would recommend them 10/10 times again!

We recently had our wedding this past Friday, September 20th, and to say it was our dream wedding would truly be an understatement. Donna was absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. Her encouraging, exciting, and calm presence was exactly what we needed over the past year and a half while wedding planning. It was always hard to envision what our day would look like from the day itself and the decor, but the day came and everything was perfect. Donna and her team were absolutely incredible the day of the wedding, they were friendly, accommodating, and over communicative. I would recommend this venue over and over and over again.

My husband and I got married on 9/6/24 at the Black Swan and we could not have been more satisfied with our whole experience! Donna was so welcoming from the moment we first met. She was very responsive via e-mail and phone calls and answered all questions and concerns professionally and promptly. The landscaping around the venue was well kept and the flowers looked beautiful and vibrant. Our guests loved the food from Vinwood Caterers and we really enjoyed our signature drinks! (Moscow mule and peach sangria). On wedding day, Donna kept the timeline moving smoothly. We did not feel stressed or pressured to keep the night moving along. We are so happy we booked this venue, we could not have envisioned our wedding day anywhere else! This experience exceeded all of our expectations.

Black Swan did an incredible job from start to finish. When my husband and I were starting to look around for venues, juggling budgets, guest lists, locations, and just that overall very overwhelmed feeling about wedding planning, the first time we visited this property, we knew we found our wedding venue. The outdoor ceremony area is private and beautiful (lots of flowers and greenery around), having cocktail hour on the balcony was a huge hit for our guests, and the reception room itself (The Andover) is clean, spacious, with a nice big dance floor! Donna, our coordinator, was attentive, kind, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She made us feel comfortable and excited every step of the way. Several of my bridesmaids (who are married and been through wedding planning) have already said to me how amazing she was on our big day. I hope I get to attend a Black Swan wedding in the future just to enjoy it all again :)

Venue is stunning!! Ceremony area was perfect, plenty of picture locations that are beautiful. Food was amazing with our guests raving about it to us afterwards! We couldn't speak highly enough about our coordinator Donna, she was absolutely perfect!! Made our day go so smoothly and everything leading it up to it a relief to handle! We are so appreciative of our time working with Black Swan and will absolutely be back to visit!

From the moment we found Black Swan Country Club on Zola, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to have our big day. After touring and getting to know Donna, we were even more certain and booked a few days later. The experience was so smooth, the team are EXPERTS at putting on weddings and ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. As the bride, I of course wanted to micro-manage everything but I was able to relax knowing that Donna had it under control. We can honestly say we have no regrets from our wedding day, and that everything went according to plan. We were both able to lean back and enjoy the day (and even the planning process)!! We are so grateful to Black Swan Country Club and could not recommend them and their team enough. We also just received our wedding photos and they came out STUNNING with all of the scenery and ambience Black Swan offers in their space :)

Our wedding was perfect!! We had multiple meetings and phone calls with our wedding coordinator who truly went above and beyond. I felt like I was working with someone I have known forever and it was such a pleasure! Donna and the BSCC made it easy to plan and pull off a wedding in a little under a year!!

We could not have been happier with our Black Swan experience! Tiffany was super responsive, knowledgeable, attentive, and executed flawlessly. Donna was well-versed on our plans and available, giving us a comfort level that we were in good hands with this team from start to finish. The food and drink were delicious, the service was top notch, the landscaping was breathtaking, and our space was beautiful. Black Swan was a perfect match for our wedding vision.

As soon as we walked in Black Swan and saw the facility we knew this was the spot we needed to get married. The facility is beautiful and the perfect spot for pictures. We worked with Tiffany who was so helpful along the way. She answered every email so swiftly and assured us the day would be great and she would take care of everything. Everything was on time and the day was magical. The food was amazing and the bar service was perfect. We honestly could not have had a more perfect day. Also for all we got it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend using The Black Swan.

Tiffany and the whole crew at Black Swan were a dream to work with. I can’t say how much Donna took the vision I had of our wedding, and made it look even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We are so grateful to all of the staff at Black Swan and can’t wait to hold another event!

Donna and her team were absolutely wonderful! My husband and I got married in 2020 and didn’t get to have the reception until October 9th, 2022. Earlier this year, our original venue closed and we had to scramble to find another place for our reception. We called around and Black Swan had a cancellation THAT morning for October 9th. After a look around and a meeting with Donna we knew that Black Swan was the perfect place for our reception. Donna was so helpful, nice, and supportive. The room, ceremony location, and grounds were beautiful and wonderfully maintained. The food was delicious and there were a number of options that all tasted better than the next. My husband and I were partial to the grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters. The kitchen was accommodating to our food allergies and willing to change things up on the menu. I cannot say enough good things about the Black Swan Country Club, Donna, and all the staff. Thank you all so much for making us feel so special and making our wedding reception magical.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Black Swan. Tiffany was so wonderful to work with in planning our day. We are an older couple and opted for a Sunday Brunch celebration. The food was outstanding . . . from the prime rib to the omelet station and Belgian waffles!!! The attention to detail and professionalism of all staff was first class. We, along with all of our guests, had a perfect day!

Donna and Tiffany are absolutely amazing. Sadly I did not have a wedding here but I went through the entire process with them. At the tasting the team was so friendly and the food was amazing. Any vendor we told that our wedding was at black swan they would tell us how amazing the food was. This venue was exactly what my fiancé and I were looking for. Tall ceilings and white walls. We loved the back deck where guests could hang out. I highly highly recommend this venue. Thank you black swan for being so kind.

Probably the best choice we’ve made in wedding planning. The venue is beautiful, the food was great, the staff was welcoming but most importantly Donna is the absolute best. She was with us through every step of the planning process, patiently and promptly answering all our questions, anticipating things that we might have forgotten, facilitating logistics with other vendors. We had our wedding at Black Swan last month and I highly recommend! Tiffany was very prompt and responsive. Her team was all amazing! Everyone complimented the venue and the food was amazing! We only had one small glitch where our wedding cakes got misplaced at the end of the night. Other than that the entire evening was fantastic! I would definitely use Black Swan for another event in the future!

This is the most lovely establishment! Tiffany M. is the BEST event planner I have ever worked with and she was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, thoughtful, talented and really went above and beyond catering to several special requests we had. She really made sure we had the perfect day and we so appreciate having her work with us! Black Swan is also so beautiful inside, all our guests raved at how lovely it was. It was the very first and only venue we toured two years ago. It was so beautiful we booked right away. Lastly, Vinwood Catering has absolutely delicious food with excellent presentation. Booked the wedding for July 2021 before the pandemic. Vinwood catering Employees were furloughed and communication was a little tough in The winter of 2021. However once planning was in full swing, everything was great. Tiffany was our event coordinator and she clearly loves her job. She was fantastic and her communication was clear and timely. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very experienced. The day ran very smoothly. People are still talking about the amazing and plentiful food and great service. Weddings are expensive but we felt we got value for our money.

Hello, My fiancé and I scheduled our wedding on December 24, 2019 for our original wedding date of June 18, 2021. When we did not hear from our Event Coordinator(s) from Vinewood Caterers, who lease out of the Black Swan Country Club this fall, we decided to connect to find out the current and future plan of action regarding COVID-19. With that being said, there was no plan of action and barely any communication, unless initiated by my fiancé and me. We are humbled by our health and ability to get married this year, yet at the same time we deserve respect while investing not only time, but also money into our ideal venue. We decided to cancel our booking at the Black Swan Country Club. While we did receive a response saying we would not get a refund for our initial deposit of $1,500, my fiancé and I feel as though we made the right decision, as we anticipated losing more money if we followed through with the Black Swan Country Club. @Manda M, my fiancé and I tried the same channels of communication and did not receive a response from any of them. My fiancé called the general number for the Black Swan Country Club, as he tried to contact Accounts Payable, he did not receive a response after leaving voicemails. He also attempted to contact the Director of Operations for the Black Swan Country Club and the mailbox was full, therefore could not leave a voicemail. He also attempted to contact the General Manager of the Black Swan Country Club and that call could not be transferred. I did however see on their social media account, specifically their Instagram handle @blackswancountryclub that the venue won "2020 PICK" from the Knot. I am assuming they are in business and are being selective with what information is available to the public. I hope our transparency is received well and best of luck moving forward.

Hello, My original wedding date was August 15, 2020. Due to Covid we needed to push it to August 7, 2021. I booked my venue, the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown MA. However, since rescheduling my wedding in April of 2020, I have not heard from them. I have called and left voicemails countless times since December of 2020, emailed, Facebook messaged, posted on Facebook, etc to see what the Covid protocols are so that I can order my invites, again. I have not received any contact in return. I have also paid all of my bill, except the last small check I need to pay ten days prior to my event. I’m really struggling with fear that my wedding is going to be ruined, again. Did the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown MA go out of business? Has anyone talked to them so fair this year 2021? Anyone else getting married here and in the same boat? Please help! I can’t go anywhere else because all of my savings are tied into this venue. Thank you!

Gorgeous venue and very amazing staff. From planning to our wedding day, Kayla from Black Swan was responsive and helpful along the way. We were able to drop off our decoration and centerpiece and the staff took care of the rest. The ballroom came out amazing! Beautiful venue for pictures so we didn’t have to stop anywhere else after our ceremony. We can’t speak about about the ceremony since our ceremony was at church but everything about this venue exceeded our expectations.

Our wedding day was wonderful thanks to all the staff and the BEAUTIFUL venue. We had our ceremony outside, and it didn't need much decoration because the place itself it's SO beautiful. They worked with us to accommodate our unconventional circumstances. They managed to give us the food we wanted even though it was not on the menu and it was delicious. Every guest loved the venue and was complimenting us on how gorgeous the place itself is, and how great the staff was. Their work was great, very professional and very flexible which we appreciated very much. During all the months leading up to the wedding, we were in contact with the amazing Kayla Collins, who helped us all throughout our wedding process. We 100% recommend Black Swan Country Club as your wedding venue. You won't regret it and thank us later!!!

Ellen and Kayla were absolutely amazing! They made the whole planning process so fun and stress free. The day of the wedding was phenomenal from the food, to our needs and just a fun wedding reception overall! Everyone keeps telling us our wedding was beautiful and so much fun and we couldn't have done it without these two ladies. Our only wish was that Kayla was able to be there as well along side Ellen the day of our reception since we spent time with both ladies. Love ya!

5 stars~Thanks to Kayla and the professional staff of the Black Swan, my daughter and son in law's Wedding Celebration was a day that we all fully enjoyed. Throughout the planning process, we were impressed by their attention to detail and expertise. Kayla helped capture Emily and Dan's vision of what "their day" would look like and made it a reality. We are grateful we can look back and say we truly celebrated with friends and family, enjoyed great food and drinks and never stopped dancing! We didn't have to worry about the details and could just enjoy the day. The beautiful grounds were an amazing backdrop for pictures and the decor and color scheme of the ballrooms are classic and elegant. The location was perfect for our local and out of town guests. Many of us made a weekend out of it by staying in Newburyport , visited Boston and had extended time with family over the 4th of July weekend. I can sum up our experience simply by saying... Everyone had a terrific time, the early shuttle was empty and our guests stayed until the very end of the night! Thank you Kayla and the Black Swan !

The long road to the Black Swan -- after visiting many, many venues with restrictive rules on vendors they are tied in with, hours you are allowed to be on site, what you are allowed to bring in for decorations, and most importantly - fees, fees, fees, it was so refreshing to visit the Black Swan. First, the venue is beautiful and the staff is professional and well-knowledged. Second, the food - outstanding!!!! from the ample and beautifully displayed hors d'oeuvres, to the large-portioned, delicious entrees, they did not disappoint. Not only was everyone talking about the food, but also how awesome the wait staff was -it is amazing how people noticed they were allowed to eat without being rushed. Ellen is awesome. She is fun and knows her stuff and was with us every step of the way answering all the silly questions. The night of the wedding, I was ordered to 'go have fun -I got this!' - and she did! It is impossible to think that everything went off perfectly, without a hitch, but it really did. Everyone talked about it for weeks, everyone had a blast stating it was the best wedding and everyone asked 'how did you find this place?' (we do live a distance from the venue) and the answer, I am not sure how the Black Swan popped into our lives, but we are very blessed it did! Thank you for giving my daughter the wedding of her dreams - really!!!! You guys are the best of the best!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Black Swan Country Club last fall and it was perfect! We booked both ballrooms for our wedding, one for the ceremony and the other for the reception (which I would highly recommend- it enables you to be the only event happening at that time), we had about 120 guests, which is much less than the rooms hold, so nobody felt squeezed at their table or on the dance floor. The decor of the ballrooms is elegant but simple which allows any color scheme to work. There is a large bridal suite off of the larger ballroom where all of the girls in the wedding party got ready and took pictures. The coordinators at Black Swan are fabulous and so knowledgable- Kayla, Ellen, and Tiffany were so helpful in the planning process and on the day, keeping us on schedule but also making sure we took time for ourselves and to eat! The food and drinks were great and everything for reasonably priced, would definitely recommend!

Black Swan Country Club was the venue of our dreams on NYE! Ellen was absolutely the BEST coordinator to work with! She kept us informed and was easy to reach throughout the whole planning process. On top of that, Ellen was there every step of the way, especially during the wedding night to ensure everything ran smoothly! She totally captured our vision and made it a reality. My husband and I could not have been happier with how perfect the Black Swan Country Club was for our wedding. From the day the venue was toured to the day of our wedding, the entire process was seamless. I was a bride living in Oregon and my parents were living in Boston. Ellen and the staff of the country club were so accommodating with me living so far away. Between Video Chats, emails, phone calls, and visits when I was in town they made sure that I was a part of the planning process to make every decision. Ellen was absolutely incredible with staying organized and making sure every detail was taken care of. She knew what I needed before I could even think about what I needed. She kept everything moving on time during the wedding so that I was not worried about where I needed to be when. She made sure that I was totally stress free on my day. The ceremony venue, the background of the golf course for pictures, and the Andover Ballroom for the reception were absolutely stunning. They did an incredible job setting up all the decorations I had prepared and it made such a difference to know that I didn't have to worry about setting up even a single picture frame. It was all even more beautiful that I could have ever imagined. The food was out of this world, I still have guests talking about how amazing the chicken and the surf and turf were. The serving staff and bartenders were incredibly professional. The packages that they offered for food and beverages were great and it was so easy to pick and choose the exact food/drinks that we wanted. Having the bridal suite and groom's area to get ready in was wonderful and they were both large enough to feel like we had plenty of space to get ready. This is a venue that we would recommend over and over again to anyone looking for an elegant and perfect place to get married!

My husband and I booked this venue last August 2017 for our wedding in October 2018. We booked with them because of their affordability and they made everything run as smoothly as possible. I did a lot of DIY decorations and they were relaxed with everything - some venues won't let you bring in certain things. Ellen was a pleasure to work with & I would book another big event with her in the future!

I just had my wedding here a few weeks ago and despite the horrible weather that day, it was absolutely beautiful and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Kayla, Tiffany, and Ellen were what made the experience here a fantastic one! Throughout the process of planning, they were always responsive, polite, helpful, and very easy to work with. All of our guests cannot stop saying how great of a time they had! And not to mention, that the food was outstanding. I will also say that the cost of our wedding here was very reasonable and there were many options to select from, while still being able to stay within our budget. Suffice it to say, I'd recommend the Black Swan to any future Bride looking for a beautiful and affordable venue to have their wedding :-)

We had an amazing experience with Black Swan. We were a little nervous when our wedding coordinator changed after 6 months of working with one. But the team made it a very smooth transition and went over the top to make our day special! Also - the food was DELICIOUS! All of our guests raved about it. They even brought food to us and our bridal party in the bridal suite before we went down to enjoy the party. Thank you, Black Swan!!

We LOVED the Black Swan! We had the most amazing day and everything went so smoothly day of and during all the planning. We worked with Ellen and we honestly were blown away with her and the Swan. They were so professional and helpful and answered any and all questions we had. They were also more than happy to provide suggestions and offer advice. The day of the wedding they had everything under control and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The planning process was simple and easy and the second we met Ellen and saw the Swan we knew we had to book it. Best wedding venue EVER!

All in all, we could not have asked for a better wedding reception or coordinator! From the moment we met with Ellen and saw the Andover Room, we knew that BSCC was our venue. From the great layout, to the flexibility BSCC offers, to Ellen's personality: everything felt perfect. The attention to detail that both Ellen and Kayla provide are absolutely fantastic. Emails are always answered within 24 hours (if not that day) and in person meetings are always flexible with many choices given. Though dropping of all the decorative supplies to Ellen two days before the wedding could "seem" stressful, knowing we were in the best hands and that everything would be set up perfect put us at complete ease. The food provided by Vinwood Catering was absolutely delicious and guests were very pleased. The open bar package was affordable and both bartenders did a great job. There was one issue with the other wedding that was in the Essex Room, but Ellen handled the problem swiftly and professionally. If you are looking for a professionally organized, open floor plan, and fun atmosphere: Black Swan Country Club is your venue.

I can't say enough about how spectacular the Black Swan Country Club was for our daughters wedding! Ellen and her staff were amazing, starting from the first informational call to the final meeting and then the organization of the wedding day itself. The food was outstanding! Ellen was very helpful with our meal selections. Any questions I had during the wedding, Ellen was already on it. The staff during the whole day couldn't have been more helpful. Still getting compliments on the wedding! Thanks for a fabulous and memorable day!!

My husband and I were married earlier in June and everything was absolutely amazing! Both Kayla and Ellen were more than we could've asked for. They made sure the night ran accordingly to the schedule and without any issues. People have not stopped talking about our wedding and how much fun they had and especially loved the food!! OMG!! My wedding was the perfect day!! I was so pleased with the friendly and professional atmosphere of the Black Swan and staff! Me and my coordinator hit it off right away and she saw my vision and made it happen !! We had both ballrooms for our ceremony and reception and it was so convenient and smooth transition for our guest!! The bridal room was a perfect size for all the girls to get ready in and our guest raves how good the food was and friendly the staff was! I would totally recommend the Black Swan for a wedding ceremony and reception!! Huge thanks to all those who worked so hard to give me exactly what I wanted !!!

If I could give Kayla and her team at BSCC ten stars I would. They were fantastic from our first tour of the venue up until they waved us out the door. First off my husband and I are vegan and wanted an all vegan wedding so our top priority was ensuring that the caterer could accommodate this request. Kayla assured us that Vinwood would be able to provide us with an all vegan menu and they absolutely came through for us! Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious and our guests were so happy with the food (we recommend the summer rolls, grape leaves and mushroom risotto in particular). We had a million questions throughout the entire process and Kayla was polite and professional through all of it. She coordinated not only with me, but also with my other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. I also loved that my husband and I were "assigned" a server to make sure we ate. I hear so many stories of people who don't eat at their own weddings...you won't have that issue at Black Swan! I highly recommend Black Swan, Kayla and her entire team! You will not be disappointed.

I was so happy with Ellen and the Black Swan Country Club team. Despite getting off to a rocky start in the planning phase (before Ellen, Kayla and others came aboard), our wedding day was amazing. Our guests had so many positive things about our venue choice, from the quality and delicious food, to the service and all the little details in between. Ellen was by my side leading up to our wedding and then made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible on our day so that my Husband and I could be present and enjoy and not worry about logistics. We were able to customize our menu choices to fit every dietary need of our guests. The team, along with Rick worked with us to ensure we could make sure all the food was prepared accordingly. Ellen worked with all my other vendors to make sure everything was delivered and coordinated for our day.
