When I first started working with Blackistone, I was super excited, Robert was great to work with and seemed to understand what my husband and I wanted. He sent us a sample bouquet with flowers that would be available in September for our wedding, along with the different kind of blue roses we requested. Our wedding planner had taken a video AND PHOTOS of the flowers we wanted from his sample. I told him I wanted the flowers to be loose and cascading with a lot of greenery. The day of the wedding I saw my bridal party walk up for photos and I looked to my now husband and told him, "I really hope those aren't our flowers or I am going to be really upset" and unfortunately, they were our flowers. It was like they were for a completely different wedding. Not a blue rose in sight. The bouquets were pink and purple and white with 1 blue and white hydrangea. He handed me my bouquet and told me to hold it a certain way because "two leaves would give me my cascading effect"... 2 small leaves.... The flowers looked like they came from a classic wedding shoot where our wedding was anything but classic or traditional. I was terrified for what I would see for the ceremony and the only thing that could have been worse was no flowers coming at all. I stood at the top of the staircase before starting down the stairs and head for the aisle for the ceremony and all I saw was a sea of purple and pink, and they weren't even where they were supposed to be. I wanted the flowers to line the aisle on stands but they were already on the guest tables. They were huge bulbous bouquets, they were gorgeous and the vases breathtaking, but not at all what I wanted. Purple and pink with some white roses, not a blue rose or predominant blue flower arrangement in sight for a Navy, Sage Green, and Grey wedding color scheme. I wanted tall flowers at the start of the aisle to create a pseudo arch and that didn't exist. I was lucky we had extra candles to decorate the aisle with or it'd just have been a handful of lanterns. I couldn't do anything at the time because my wedding was in full swing, but the next day I just sat on a couch, staring at my bouquet my mom thought I'd want, and cry then angrily message my wedding planner who reached out to Blackistone and we got the most BS response. He thought our video was for the table arrangements... I'd buy that if those arrangements had the Blue and White roses, but they were the exact same flowers as the bouquets. His refund was giving us a $300 credit to buy flowers from him in the future. Why would we buy flowers from someone who single handedly almost ruined the memories of my wedding? The flowers are in ALL of the photos. They were the most expensive part of my wedding besides the venue. For those who have used Robert and had a great experience, I congratulate you and wish I could have had the same. I am giving one star because he was nice enough to talk to, and the flowers were pretty, and flowers were delivered to my wedding which was a win. But in terms of my emotional state after the wedding, I would give negative stars if I could. Over 2 weeks later and I think back at my wedding at how it looked and I get angry and depressed and absolutely hate looking at the flowers and dread looking at the photos when they come in. He didn't deserve the tip we gave him, but we had handed the envelope to our wedding planner the morning of the wedding before I saw any of the flowers.

Robert did a beautiful job with the floral arrangements for our wedding. When we first spoke to him, he asked many questions to get a clear idea about what we wanted. We also sent photos of inspiration that we liked. Robert made all the bouquets, boutonnieres, our mother's wristlets, flower petals, ceremony aisle arrangements, and the ceremony arch. We repurposed the ceremony aisle and ceremony arch arrangements for our centerpieces and sweetheart table at our reception. To see our vision for our floral arrangements come to life thanks to Robert was breathtaking.

We cannot say enough about the amazing work our florist, Robert Siasi, did for our wedding. I recently had the pleasure of working with Blackistone Florist for my wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. 1. Personalized Service: Ramyar aka Robert, the owner, is not only a talented florist but also an attentive listener. He was super responsive and worked with us and patiently listening to our vision. He took the time to understand our vision and preferences. We went over several meetings to make sure we under each others and Robert and his team was really delivering his promise. His expertise and creativity truly shone through in the arrangements and very easy to work with. 2. Stunning Floral Designs: The flowers were very nice and fresh on my wedding day! I love my bridal bouquet. Robert really made my bouquet as my request and follow thru my lavender theme. It was a work of art, combining delicate purple roses, lavender, baby breaths, lots lush greenery, and pops of color - exactly like I imagine. The centerpieces and boutonnieres were equally impressive, my husband also loves his boutonnieres. Each bloom was fresh and vibrant. Robert offered to deliver my bouquet early in the morning in my hotel for the photoshoot and I got lots of compliments for my bouquet as well. My husband and I fells in love with the Manzanita branch and his decoration for our welcoming table, we love tree and having that on our wedding means a lot to us. He did a great job providing the Manzanita branch just like our vision. 3. Budget-Friendly Options: Robert worked within our budget without compromising on quality. He suggested cost-effective alternatives and made sure we got the most value for our money. 4. Timely Delivery: On the big day, the flowers arrived promptly, beautifully arranged and ready to enhance our celebration. It was a relief to know that everything was taken care of. 5. Happy Guests: Our guests raved about the floral decor. We have a lots of compliments, impressed by the elegance and attention to detail. We are complete amazed about Robert’ s work. Our flower decoration at the reception, church and the bouquets were completely awesome and delicate. Everything was in time, and in perfect shape. I recently had the pleasure of working with Ramyar for my elopement wedding at the Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel by the Sea in September 2021, and I was blown away by the creativity and attention to detail that the company brought to my floral arrangements. When I reached out to the florist about my vision for the wedding thanks to our wedding planner Christa, I mentioned that I was a huge fan of the TV show Smallville and that I was hoping to incorporate some violet flowers into the decor to match a particular episode of the show. The florist immediately understood my vision and was able to suggest several different types of flowers that would fit perfectly with the theme. On the day of the wedding, I was absolutely amazed by how beautifully the flowers had come together. The violet flowers were incorporated seamlessly into the arrangements, creating a stunning and cohesive look that perfectly matched the episode of Smallville that I had referenced. The team also took care to ensure that all of the flowers were fresh and vibrant, and that they were arranged in a way that was both elegant and romantic. We did everything by text and email. The flowers were amazing and they matched the color scheme I wanted exactly. We ordered decor for our pergola also — which was amazing. We had a number of hummingbirds show up to soak in the flowers. These people are true professionals — they show up and set up on time. Do not look anywhere else — hire these people. They do not disappoint.

Robert and his crew executed my vision for our wedding flowers beautifully. His team was early to set up and everything was arranged perfectly. You can tell Robert takes pride in his work and loves what he does. I found Blackistone to be amazing value for money. The flowers were bountiful and fresh. My bouquet was PERFECT. Thank you!
