ong the way, but we experienced NONE. Kaylee did amazing helping everything stay on schedule and finishing the final touches on our amazing day. The wait staff and bar staff was so attentive and did great serving our 100 guests. The venue was immaculate and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. If you’re looking for a venue in Colorado that has it all (food, bar, ceremony, reception, bridal sweet, grooms getting ready area, scenery for pictures) look no further than blackstone.

wanted. There was never a time when I was displeased, or upset. She never told me "no", which as a bride is the best thing ever! On our wedding day I didn't have to worry about a thing because Erika and the Blackstone staff took care of it all! They all worked so hard to make our day a success and it absolutely was!

etting ready. I would have liked to see myself before I walked out. The wrong amount of tables were set up, but they were able to get it changed (unsure if I was charged for the extra linens on those tables). After our ceremony the sand we poured disappeared and was never found. While we were getting pictures taken we were told the yard games were set up.. they were not. There is only one location pictures can be taken with the bridal party since they aren't able to come on to the golf course. The food was good but the children's meals were served last which made for some crabby kiddos. The entire bottom tier of our cake disappeared after my groom and I cut it. Nobody was served chocolate cake and the only tier that was cut and served was the middle (after we told them they could cut and serve the top tier also). They did provide us with a partial refund for half of the bottom tier of the cake... not completely satisfied with that but it is what it is at this point. I just feel as if we weren't treated with the best customer service and there seemed to be a lack of communication between the staff. All in all it was a beautiful day and I'm so happy I get to spend the rest of my life with my husband.

the ceremony Erika said if we wanted we could move it all outside. We said yes and within minutes they had it all flipped to the outside area. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I did not have to worry about anything the entire day. Erika handled everything! Several of our guests asked where we found such an amazing venue! The best place to get married in Colorado!

nd she made it so easy and much less stressful than it could have been. The location is beautiful! Everyone commented what a beautiful location (and are still talking about it several weeks later)! The day of, Cara was extremely helpful coordinating and making sure everything went smoothly. She checked in often, and made sure we knew who else we could talk to later in the night after she left. The food itself came out smoothly and well prepared, and tasted delicious!! Our guests were raving days later how great the food was. The beautiful location, value, and high quality service were unmatched. Everything was simply wonderful! We really feel like we got more than our money's worth having our wedding at Blackstone, and we would choose them again in a heartbeat!

completely unapologetic about it. She only became responsive to us about 2 weeks before our wedding only because we contacted her manager. Because she didn't communicate well with us the months leading up to the wedding the morning of my wedding was a complete disaster and it was obvious that there was a huge communication gap. They didn't have tables, stage, or linens set up that we had discussed several times before the wedding day, along with many other problems . My poor mother in-law and dad were still setting decorations up 20 min before the ceremony because they had to wait on the venue to finally get the stage up and linens down on the tables. It was really unfortunate because my mother-in-law wasn't able to get her makeup done, and both her and my Dad couldn't do a first look (with the bride and groom) before the ceremony. My parents and I had several complaints and brought them to the attention of the general manager after the wedding. He was understanding and gave us a $500 refund (we spent $9,000 total). The only good thing I can say about the Blackstone is the food was very good and the venue is beautiful. So if your looking to spend a whole lot of money and receive a stressful wedding day with poor customer service than you know where to go.

oordinator, Shannon, was gracious, knowledgable and efficient from start to finish, and helped guide us through the process when we were indecisive. Our guests were treated with respect, the food was outstanding, and the staff were virtually invisible. And they don't charge extra for the venue itself. Book it now! You won't regret it...
