he other club staff will help you with whatever you need...and you have to stop and look at it. The grounds are just perfect. I was well aware of the cost of the venue, but for the quality of everything they came in under the average cost of a wedding in 2013. The food was also delicious! My only advice would be to make an action plan for after the wedding reception is finished. All of the sudden at 11pm my family was scrambling to get everything together and we were rushed out. I did not know that we would not have a little time to clean up after. This was frustrating for my friends and family that stayed. Other than that, I would highly recommend this venue.

The only downfall to my planning process was a transition to a new coordinator months before my wedding. The new coordinator was ok, but not Elizabeth Todd. Although she had big shoes to fill, she did come up short. My groomsmen were supposed to be my ushers, however no one came and told them guests were arriving as they were busy in the dressing room, due to this my guests seated myself. There were not enough chairs for the ceremony, so a row on each side was added at the last second. Due to this 12 chairs did not have programs and there were not flower arrangements on the ends of the last two rows. Also the ribbon that was across the isle, was removed by the coordinator prior to the beginning of the ceremony because this was no longer the last row. The coordinator held the marriage license and was given a check for the pastor, she misplaced the check. After the cermony we were looking for a check and getting information to send the check after the wedding. We could never seem to find her when we needed anything. She also changed into a rather inappropriate dress before the ceremony (a white very short tight dress!!) The food and beverage staff were amazing!! The food was impecable!!! The cake was also perfect and everything we pictured and more! I was so pleased with everything that Blackstone had to offer and made planning so easy and seemless. Looking back I had a great wedding. Many guests said that everything was breathtaking and was th nicest wedding that they had eve been to. I definately had my dream wedding.

Staff repeatedly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Not only is their coordinator FANTASTIC helping you with emails/calls when you need questions answered, helpful hints, recommended vendors to work with, and tried and true advice if you want (which I needed) to get you through each and every detail beginning months before right down to the day before. But TRULY all the staff went out of their way to keep checking on us during the evening, you're continually greeted with kind and courteous staff from the front gate, to the vallet at the gate, to the staff and attendents in the venue itself, and they aren't just greeting you because you're the one in white, all our guests commented on how friendly and polite everyone was. We could really feel that we were special to the staff and our day was special to them. Your event is unique and you will not feel rushed or pressured to do things like an assembly line. The venue's appearance will absolutely speak for itself. Tha'ts absolutely what we fell in love with. From first tour, we just kept saying, "you've got to be kidding!!!". It's outside the main circuit of resorts in Scottsdale/Phoenix, but that only cuts away the pretentiousness and possibility of being overpriced. Most of our guests were from out of state, so giving our gurests the drive in through the area to see cactii and mountains and desert was priceless, the impressive drive through their massive front gates truly transports you. You feel tucked away and special; it's distinctive and memorable and allows you to be submerged in your celebration. We were so in love with its appearance we were honestly blown out of the water by their food, beverage, and CAKE options!!! We assumed when you have a "look" and such gorgeous offerings that you wouldn't need to go so far above and beyond with food/bev options in house, but the value and incredible elegance and gourmet service provided by blackstone and their phenomenal pastry chef was all any of the guests could talk about. Maybe it's a Chicago thing, but no one goes to a wedding expecting to have the best meal of their life, but that's truly what Blackstone provided. They told us from the first day," NO NO NO, we have incredible food with and unbelievable pastry chef on hand to make your meal incredible", but we just thought it was hype. Sure enough, from the tasting we knew, they were being completely honest. So all in all, we absolutely loved it, I can't stop looking at my pictures, and we adored our experience with everyone there. We were shooting for a wedding day with things that my husband and I wanted and loved and we ended up having one of the most incredible, memorable, unbelievable weddings any of our guests had been to here or from out of town. It was just amazing.

Our wedding day went better than I ever could have expected. The venue looked amazing, the food was fantastic, and everyone had a wonderful time. Being that we are not from the area, we loved that they had recommendations for us for everything and even handled all the rentals for us. The level of service and attention we received could not have been better. They also provided a day-of-wedding coordinator that was awesome and professional, so that the actual day was easy and flawless.

ur ceremony was of nothing but undeveloped Sonoran mountain landscape dotted by saguaro and an inspiring orange sunset. It was a truly serene and magical setting for my husband and I to start our life together as well as a breathtaking vista for our guests - almost all of whom were from out-of-state - to enjoy while they shared this momentous occasion with us. Of course, the bounty of Blackstone is much more than just the surrounding area's natural beauty. The staff there have always been extremely courteous, helpful and responsive to our family as members and this day was no different. In particular, I have to mention Megan and Elizabeth as their help during all facets of the planning, rehearsal, ceremony and reception was one of prompt precision without being intrusive in any way. We had an outdoor reception and highly recommend it if the Arizona weather is accommodating, as it most always is. To see the main courtyard intricately decorated with stringed lights, floral arrangements, formal place settings, dance floor and full sound system for the wedding band was a sight to behold and fondly remember. We had two musical groups perform and the transition between the two acts was seamless due to careful scheduling and impeccable logistics from the Blackstone staff. We felt a sincere desire by Blackstone and its employees to give everyone involved with the wedding a day that honestly felt like a dream come true. Every aspect of the meals was without a doubt incredible and our cakes were positively delicious as well. We can't say enough about Blackstone Country Club and will not hesitate to recommend the location to anyone looking for a unique venue that merges authentic southwestern style with ultra-modern amenities to create an all-encompassing, truly unforgettable experience perfect for a wedding.

The setting at Blackstone is simply put, gorgoues and amazing! We called it our hidden gem! The FOOD was TOP NOTCH! The pastry chef is a miracle worker! Who knew a cake could taste as good as it looked! The wedding was over a month ago, and still people are talking! There were some classy people in attendance who made it clear that this was one of, if not THE best wedding they had ever been to! I could go on and on about that day, but the simple truth is that Blackstone made my every wedding day dream come true. I would recommend Blackstone to anyone looking for a flawless, stunning, classy and exclusive venue for their wedding day!
