Brittney and her team are the definition of wedding professionals. From the very first consultation to the final moments of our wedding day, they were absolutely phenomenal. Their attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism were evident in every aspect of their work. They took the time to truly understand our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

Hiring BLB as our wedding coordinator was the best money we ever spent. They helped us prepare and stay organized ahead of the day, thinking of details we might have otherwise missed, and executed the wedding day without a hitch. We were able to feel completely at ease the whole day and focus and enjoying it because we had complete trust in BLB, and particularly Gillian, who was our specific point of contact and the lead on the day. She was there every step of the way, from adjusting my veil so that it was perfect in every photo, to making sure the vendors executed our vision to a tee, to making sure we got to eat our food and always had a drink in our hand. She and the whole BLB team were an indispensable part of our day and I would recommend them to ANY bride/groom. You will not regret putting your trust in this incredible team. We had a BEYOND amazing experience working with Brittney and Mattie at BLB. We hired BLB for their full planning service and they fully planned our Friday night rehearsal dinner, Saturday night wedding, and Sunday afternoon brunch. We loved working with BLB events for our August 2023 wedding! We hired them for Consulting and Execution and worked with Brittney and Mattie. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, we felt totally supported and taken care of. They provided us a with a comprehensive package of materials to keep us organized, and we had almost monthly check-ins on top of their being super responsive to our may emails. Brittney and Mattie also have a really good sense for design, helping us achieve our vision within our budget. They're also so knowledgable about the industry, recommending the best vendors and helping us figure out contracts.
On the day-of, BLB were absolute pros! They handled everything and went above and beyond to keep us relaxed and focused on each other without all of the stress that comes with a 170-person wedding. We can't recommend them enough!
We feel so, so lucky to have worked with Brittney and Mattie at BLB Events for our wedding! They are absolute pros and made our wedding planning process a complete breeze from start to finish! Brittney and Mattie were excellent! We worked with them for several months before the wedding, and they were on site on our wedding day and took care of everything so we wouldn't have to! We felt like we were in good hands, allowing us to enjoy the day without having to think about any logistics.
BLB was very organized, on top of reaching out to vendors, and incredibly helpful when deciding who we should work with. They were an invaluable source of knowledge and comfort in our wedding planning process.
Brittney and Mattie were a fantastic help when planning and executing our recent wedding. Brittney was a wonderful balance of encouraging but also realistic in helping us figure out what we wanted for a wedding and how to put it together, and she connected us with several vendors we were thrilled with. For a small-ish/simple wedding, the consulting package was perfect, and they provided helpful resources for us to work on our own between sessions. Ultimately, everything came together in ways I had trouble envisioning during planning but Brittney deftly steered us through. It was also a huge relief to hand things over to her on the day of, and she did a great job of helping keep everything on track while not feeling too intrusive or overly rigid, leaving us free to (try to) relax and focus on friends and family. If you're considering booking BLB for your wedding, this is your sign to DO IT! We interviewed a handful of planners to ensure we found the right fit, and no one held a candle to Brittney and her team. Hiring them was the first decision we made when it came to planning our big day, and it was also the best one. From the jump, Brittney put us at ease, really listening to what we wanted and then turning it into reality. She and Mattie kept everything organized and on track without it ever feeling stressful, sharing helpful tips and advice along the way, and somehow even managed to make the planning process feel FUN. On our wedding day, Brittney and Mattie both exuded calm and confidence, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. When I walked into the venue and saw how perfectly everything came together I cried—Brittney and Mattie NAILED the set up and it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Throughout the evening they kept everything running smoothly which meant my husband and I got to focus on being present—we didn’t have to worry about when to cut the cake or cue people for toasts or when food was being served because we knew they were on top of it, and they absolutely were. We got to focus on our celebration and our friends and family which was the biggest gift of all. If we could give six stars we would but seriously: these guys are the best!
We would give six stars if possible. Brittney is incredible. She is super helpful from the beginning with a load of helpful tools (e.g., a 250 item "checklist" and vendor guides) that took a lot of the uncertainty and stress out of the planning process. Brittney is very attuned to whatever approach you want to take; she had great recommendations but never pushed us to do anything or spend more than we wanted.
We did the consultant hours and day of coordination package, which was perfect for us. Brittney and her team are super communicative, professional, and were on top of all the elements of the wedding, including all the vendors we had engaged separately. And most importantly, the day of went completely smoothly.
We cannot recommend Brittney highly enough (and already have to several of our friends!).
Do yourself a favor and hire BLB Events for your wedding! Brittney, Mattie, and the whole team will make you feel very comfortable and secure that the day will go off without a hitch. I used their month-of coordination package, and added on a few hours of consulting. Their expertise with my venue and all the wedding vendors in the NY area was so invaluable. We were able to talk through venue logistics and decor possibilities starting 6 months out, and starting 2 months out they took over the coordination of all my vendors. It was such a relief to know that I could trust BLB Events through the planning process and on the big day. My new husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our wedding day to the fullest!
I don't know what we possibly would have done without Brittney and the BLB team. From our first call, Brittney brought calming vibes and a wealth of experience and knowledge to our planning process. She empowered us to be decision makers, and took all the hard parts off our hands - she took lots of time in the months leading up to the wedding to hear our anxieties and always made things feel easy! Our stress and jitters just dissipated every time we got on the phone with them. They helped us stay organized and on track, guided us towards vendors perfectly tailored to our taste and budgets. It was such a pleasure getting working with them throughout the planning process.
Then come day of... they made it the best day ever, even in the craziest circumstances, because they were so buttoned up and had such a great handle on the vendors and the venue. We had weather against us - rain rain and more rain - and they seamlessly put our rain plan into action. None of the guests ever noticed any change in plans because it was so well executed. And in fact, it turned out to be an incredibly memorable experience for everyone.
We can't recommend BLB enough. Wish we could do it all over again!

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how incredible Brittney and her team are. I initially hired a different NYC wedding planner who ended up being incredibly difficult to work with, and when it got down to ~3 months before my wedding day and I was so disappointed / overwhelmed, I fired the original wedding planner and started working with Brittney - it was absolute night and day. Your wedding planner is literally the most important vendor on your wedding day, and you can’t do better than Brittney and her team.
Brittney not only thinks of absolutely everything - how every detail of your day will go, how to make it better, how to keep things true to your vision using the expertise from her many years of experience - she’s also such a bright and calm presence in the room. I had zero worries leading up to my wedding day and it was all because of Brittney and her team (Mattie and Esther were fabulous!). If you want a wedding planner who approaches every problem with calm and expertise, leaves no detail un-thought of, takes all of your stress off and lets you enjoy every second of your wedding day while being so fun and wonderful, you really can’t do better than Brittney. My husband and I still sing her praises constantly and I’d recommend her and Mattie to anyone.
I have never had a specific dream or vision for a wedding. We found the perfect venue and booked a date 5 months away. From there I needed major help so I saw the rave reviews and quickly booked Brittney as my full-service wedding planner. This was one of the best decisions I ever made! I went into this process not really knowing what I wanted, and Brittney was so smart, knowledgeable, organized, experienced, creative, and insightful. She showed me the way through everything, taught me what I needed to know and addressed all questions and concerns without judgment, and in the end we were thrilled with our wedding!
As stated, all we had was a venue and a date. I was unsure about planning an entire wedding weekend. I told Brittney my concerns but she talked me through it and got me really excited to host multiple events. I am SO glad we did this as our friends and family loved the full wedding weekend experience and thanks to Brittney and Mattie's expertise and impressive sense for style and design, the events were beautiful. Brittney helped us find the best venues for a welcome party and day-after brunch, and she sourced so many wonderful vendors to choose from. With the options Brittney provided, we were able to create a magical weekend that fit our personalities and style.
In addition to the advanced planning and selections we made together with Brittney, she was excellent at planning out all of the logistics and details of the events themselves, making sure my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing and we could just enjoy ourselves. Sometimes it is hard for me to trust or delegate, but not with Brittney! I could tell how professional and on point she is and that she would take care of it all. She was also very patient and helpful to us on the day of when our wedding was rained out! She had taken care of a back-up plan and it was still gorgeous and a dream. Mattie was also abundantly pleasant and helpful to us with day-of details, little things that were forgotten, etc. Their commitment to producing successful events is so clear, many of our guests even commented on how well-planned everything was and how they loved all the thought and intention that went into details.
On top of everything else, Brittney is just such a fun and likeable person, meetings with her feels like you are catching up with an old friend. The planning process is all the more enjoyable because you have her by your side! She is so sincere, honest, empathic and understanding, and also keenly aware of how cultural factors and family relationship dynamics come into play and need to be managed to have a smooth event.
I feel like I could go on and on. The bottom line is, you should hire this team! You will not regret it!! I am forever grateful to them for one of the best weekends of my life, and my husband and our families were also super impressed. Thank you Brittney and Mattie, you are truly the best!!
Brittney and the BLB team were an enormous help to making our wedding weekend an unforgettable experience for everyone. In the weeks leading up our wedding, Brittney and her team were extremely organized, communicative and efficient in helping orchestrate all of the big and small details that go into planning a wedding. We could not have had such a smooth, easy experience over our weekend without their help. Brittney and her team's familiarity with the wedding planning process shines through in their abilities to think through every detail, offer helpful suggestions in the event of speed bumps, and know ALL of the small details that need to be covered.

Brittney and Mattie were phenomenal wedding planners! We had the reception and ceremony at two different locations and they made each transition seamless. They were extremely organized and made our wedding day effortless and magical. All of our special moments were captured and they orchestrated the day with ease (which for any bride is a dream come true!) They were wonderful to work with (professional and so nice!) I would recommend them to all brides- their service was 5 star, thank you Mattie and Brittney!
The key to making our wedding perfect was Brittney and the BLB team. From the first phone call to the final wedding hour, Brittney was an ideal wedding coordinator — detailed, warm, excited, professional, and an all around pleasure to work with. Her assistant Mattie was so diligent in the final days before the wedding to make sure that every detail was thought of. It is so clear that Brittney takes pride in her work and I would recommend BLB to anyone.
We got married in October in Prospect Park (the Picnic House) and since it was a raw space, we decided to hire a day-of coordinator. BLB Events came highly recommended from the venue, and they absolutely came through.
Brittney and Mattie were organized, kind, thoughtful, and super supportive of us through the whole process. We had a bunch of vendors, and having BLB as our day-of meant that we only had to speak to one group of people; Brittney and Mattie took on all the rest of the pre-wedding coordination. Their shared documents helped me stay super organized and not feel like I was on an island by myself. I'm sure I would have missed something had we not invested in their services. They really worked to understand our vision, make sure everyone had the right expectations day-of, and it's absolutely because of BLB events that our wedding day was smooth, ran on time, and everyone got what they needed. BEST DECISION MADE EVER. We got engaged in 2018 decided for a 2020 wedding but then we had to push our wedding off twice so ended up having about 5 years to find vendors and plan it. However with my Type-A personality I needed to make sure I looked at ALL options and create a whole big spreadsheet. BLB Events team was so understanding when I spoke to them the first time. We just hit it off. I put the pro..in procrastinator so I had waited until 5-6 weeks before our wedding date to look for a month of coordinator. Right after we decided to work with the BLB team Brittney quickly made an appointment for us do a walk through at the venue. She asked all the right questions with the event coordinator, asked us questions we did not even think of. She had all the right documents for us to fill out that help us remind us the small things we might have forgotten. I had told her when we first met I just wanted to stop having wedding nightmares about things going wrong, and those did stop for sure once we started working together. I knew with everything in their hands nothing would go wrong, and nothing did! She had figured out our timeline for the day, and just thinking if I had to do this myself I drive myself crazy. She knew exactly how to space the time out. Even was there to help support me with the sun baking down on me when we were taking photos. Brittney and Kymberle ran everything so smoothly, they were the ones who was making sure everything was on track without knowing they were there. They were super stealth where I felt bad that we barely got to interact during the wedding! Everything was packed neatly and perfectly at the end of the night we did not even have to mention what we wanted to save everything was there. I can not stress how happy and stress free my last month was because I had the BLB Events team on my side. Even my mom who was the biggest worry wort was so happy to know BLB was there for us and she could trust letting them handle everything. As much as I do not want to plan another wedding, but if we had to like to renew our vows or something, this time I hire them from the start and just trust them with everything because it was really the best decision we made.

My husband and I hired Brittney as our Day Of Coordinator and from the beginning, Brittney was so communicative and organized. The documents she shares with you to keep you on track are so detailed and were SO helpful in our planning process so we could get a lot of things done on our own. (Let's just say, I love a spreadsheet and Brittney's tools are user friendly spreadsheets to keep you on track but not stress you out.) To be clear though, you aren't left to your own devices for Day Of...any time I had a question, Brittney answered quickly and thoroughly and offered honest and helpful advice. I can only imagine how awesome BLB would be if hired for their full planning services.
As the days approached closer to our wedding, we were thrilled to find out that we would not only have Brittney for our day but also, Mattie! This was a pleasant surprise to have two BLB team members even though our wedding was small-medium sized.
Day of, Brittney and Mattie were calming, positive vibes while getting things done. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to set up our floral diys that are honestly, usually handled by the florist. It was a quick turnover from ceremony to dinner and they got it done without any issues and made everything look beautiful and exactly as we dreamed.
Additionally, Mattie was so awesome at capturing additional candid videos and social media reels that our photo/video teams may not have gotten bc they were focusing on the main photo ops.
I feel I should mention that I also work in events and in particular, weddings. Knowing the ins and outs of what goes on behind the scenes, it was important to me and my husband that we had coordinators that are detailed oriented, trustworthy, have a great relationship with our venue (you could tell our venue loves BLB), and above all, kind! Brittney and Mattie were alllll that and more. Thank you, you two! (Hire them for your wedding!!)
Brittney is the epitome of calm, cool, and collected! We had the pleasure of working with Brittney and her team for our wedding reception and their expertise and professionalism is exactly what I needed to be able to enjoy my special day without worrying about a single thing. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and early on my husband and I knew that in the final weeks leading up to our wedding, we wanted to hand the reins over to an expert. Brittney and her team gave us exactly what we wanted and needed - a wedding that flowed perfectly without our having to even think about it!
From the first moment we connected with Brittney, we knew we were in good hands due to her warmth, professionalism, and clear communication. We opted for a package that meant BLB's services kicked in about six weeks before our wedding, which felt like it came at the perfect time! They sent us a suite of planning documents that really helped us shape our vision for the wedding, and later, calls with Brittney and Mattie helped us come up with the perfect plan to ensure the night flowed smoothly.
Lastly, Brittney was the perfect person on hand when things went wrong, as they inevitably do. My husband and I almost forgot to get a marriage license amid all the planning, and Brittney had crucial advice that helped save the day!
All in all, Brittney and her team made it so that on the actual day, all my husband and I had to do was arrive and experience our wedding. We left much of set up and break down in her capable hands, and it felt amazing not to have to worry about details like how decor was getting home, as we knew Brittney was on it. The planning process and the day of execution were flawless and I am still in awe of how gracefully Brittney and her team operated to make our wedding day the best day ever!
We booked our venue with 5 months to plan our wedding. From the start, Brittney provided detailed guidance on vendors that fit the style of wedding we wanted and that would fit within our overall budget. We loved all of the vendors that Brittney recommended and she talked us through, with patience, all of the details of our contracts and agreements with the band, caterer, venue, florist, and hair/make-up team. Brittney was super responsive and answered all of my many questions with detail and expert advice.
For day of planning, Brittney managed all details with our vendors to make the entire timeline flow without a hitch, so that we could focus on celebrating our big day and being present with our family, friends and each other.
I should note that I personally work in client service and hospitality and have never worked with a better team. It really felt like Brittney and her team thought of everything and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to work with a smart, savvy, seasoned wedding planning team!
We cannot imagine having had our wedding with out the help of Brittney and her team. As our “day-of coordinator,” the team reviewed our wedding day timeline (which was huge because we had major holes in it!), gave us amazing ideas for our after party (don’t be shy to book some extra pre-planning sessions), and organized a walk through with our venue which was invaluable for executing the reception. Something we really appreciated is how realistic and efficient Brittney is. She gives you her honest opinion on what you do and don’t need without trying to maximize cost or fuss. On the actual day, Brittney’s team addressed a dozen little unexpected issues that cropped up and did so with a smile on their faces. Being able to have people you can turn to in the moment to handle whatever you may need and in the nicest and most effective way is incredible. They made our day absolutely seamless.
To say we were pleased with our experience with Brittney and her team would be an understatement. We had a “partial planning” package, and worked with Brittney during the year up to our wedding. Not only is Brittney an amazing planner, she’s a positive, genuine person and we’re so happy we’ve gotten to know her!
Our venue was a raw space, so we really appreciated the many vendor recommendations that we needed and the helpful guidance throughout the entire process of how to create a wedding from scratch. From budget to floorplan to reviewing rental lists and beyond — Brittney was there for every step. We had a ton of questions and Brittney’s responses were always extremely helpful (and prompt!).
Brittney’s preparation and coordination on the day of our wedding was a godsend. She connected with all of the vendors prior to the day of and had everything perfectly organized to ensure that we could focus on each other and the celebration. Every moment and every detail was accounted for, and there was truly nothing that we were stressed about because we knew that Brittney was on it. Even during the unplanned moments—when the air conditioner in the venue broke on a 95° day—Brittney was in immediate contact with the venue manager so we didn’t have to deal with it.
We absolutely loved our wedding day and are so grateful to Brittney and her team for being such a big part of making it happen!

They also did an *impeccable* job running point on the day-of. They were super responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable - and also handled some random wackiness during the reception with a deftness and flexibility that kept the evening on track and amazing.

BLB Events was outstanding. Brittney and her team guided us through an infamously stressful process in such a way that made it a fun, creative, and even joyful experience. Brittney is a straight shooter with an uncanny ability to juggle the minutest logistic while simultaneously staying receptive to the unique sensibilities of the couple and flexible around last-minute changes. Two moments from our wedding stand out in particular for me as emblematic of BLB's touch: (a) mere hours before our ceremony began, Brittney came up with an original solution to a design note that had been floated by one of the wedding party, only to have it vetoed by another member of the party as soon as Brittney had implemented it. Brittney could not have handled the situation with more grace, and on top of all the details she and her team kept aloft that day, she and Mattie made time to check in with me (the bride) multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and well-hydrated; (b) after our reception ended, in the middle of a dramatic rainstorm, Brittney returned to the reception venue to retrieve two plastic chairs she realized we had forgotten from the hora segment of our reception, carrying them both downstairs herself. Before the seamlessly executed event, Brittney was professional, fun, warm, relaxed, organized, full of ideas, and she kept planning on track meticulously without being at all overbearing or making us feel micromanaged. She was a true magician whom we trusted wholeheartedly with this most personal wedding adventure and a wonderful soul to boot. Our daughter was married in April, a fusion wedding – Indian/Western, merging Hindu, Jewish, and Christian traditions. Hiring Brittney Bartling was the smartest decision we made for what quickly emerged to be a complicated event.
From the get-go Brittney was on top of everything, with gentle reminders, always clear, never judgmental, open to ideas, responding to texts, emails, and calls immediately. Our scheduled periodic zoom planning calls, leading up to the final two weeks, were a pleasure – comprehensive, thorough, and exciting. Everything was covered. Brittney’s experience and knowledge of all aspects and options around every form of wedding ceremony and reception is extensive.
The vendors she referred us to were all excellent. Her sure direction at the eve of wedding rehearsal allowed for a smooth run-through and provided us all with the comfort of knowing that we were prepared. The wedding day, which involved multiple elements requiring spot on accuracy, went as smoothly as one could hope for. Brittney and her wonderful assistant, Mattie, quietly just made everything run like clockwork – so that the stress inherent in the wedding party’s experience, especially for myself, as mom of the bride, was at a minimum. And we were able to truly just enjoy the moment and the people.
In a film producing unit there’s someone called the Line Producer. The Line Producer makes sure that everyone and everything is on time, has what they need, knows what they’re doing, and everything - soup to nuts - runs smoothly, so that nothing disrupts the critical work on set with camera and actors.
Brittney was our Line Producer. Her expertise, crack team, and gentle, sure temperament provided a seamless, incredibly well-organized celebration for us all.
Could we have even gotten married without Brittney and her team?? Probably, but it wouldn't have been nearly as good. We originally had only planned on using Brittney’s day-of coordination package, but after booking a raw space venue, we decided that the extra help would be well worth the additional cost. I am SO happy we had extra time and help with Brittney; she not only has the most incredible contacts, but is also so on top of things and just an all around pleasure to work with. She was so accommodating for meetings, always gave it to us straight, and effortIessly massaged all our scattershot ideas into something tasteful, intentional, and uniquely us. She even surprised us with 3D renderings of the space so we could better visualize! Her energy and excitement were so genuine, and a constant reminder for us that we were in good hands. I remember having screening calls with other planners and feeling more overwhelmed once we got off the call, but Brittney takes away so much stress and truly makes you feel like you’re working with a friend. Brittney was so patient and helpful during our research process. She was always available to answer questions (and her answers were always so good!). She is clearly amazing at what she does. We are forever grateful and would definitely work with her and the BLB team at some point in the future.

Since our ceremony and reception were in separate locations (plus...a pandemic...), we wanted a day-of coordinator to help ensure that the day ran smoothly. Brittney and her team accomplished this and so much more. From the first meeting, Brittney was organized, provided clear direction and remarkably thorough planning documentation, and was incredibly communicative. With COVID in full swing, she kept her clients up-to-speed on all of the latest requirements and guidelines. In the six weeks leading up to our wedding, BLB was the main point of contact for our vendors from everything ranging from timelines to parking passes to COIs, and we knew we were in amazing hands. A week before the wedding, we reviewed the flow of the day, and Brittney confirmed everything down to the last detail. On the day of the event, she and her team were a kind, calming presence for everyone, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We never worried about logistics once -- all we needed to do was have the most magical time (cheesy as that sounds!) and spend quality time with our guests. Brittney was our month-of coordinator for our August 2021 wedding at Frankies 457 Spuntino in Brooklyn. Working with Brittney and her team was an absolute pleasure, and she made it possible for us to effectively be guests at our own wedding. I recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.
We first contacted Brittney after receiving a referral from our venue. After interviewing several coordinators, we were impressed with Brittney’s candor, organizational aptitude, and extensive experience.
As two busy people with jobs (unusual?), we were horrified by the 10,000 little things that go into planning a wedding. Despite our many spreadsheets, we were similarly overwhelmed by the spectre of unknown unknowns. Thankfully, Brittney’s online tools, responsiveness to email, and, as our wedding day approached, to-do lists and check-ins, allowed us to focus on actually-important things without getting bogged down in the minutiae that Wedding Internet says will ruin everything (does no one know calligraphy?!). She basically designed our timeline for us, because we are confused children in our late mid-thirties.
Brittney also handled last-minute semi-crises seamlessly. When our cellist got a breakthrough COVID infection two days before our wedding, Brittney had already called and confirmed details with the replacement musician before we fully processed what was happening. (He’s ok, I should add.)
The actual wedding day ran like clockwork. Brittney’s two coordinators worked closely with the venue to maintain a tight timeline and usher people (and us) where we needed to go. They also did a beautiful job setting things up beforehand; we literally just had to drop things off with directions and show up six hours later. We spent the evening hanging out with our friends and family, and followed directions when necessary. Everyone had a wonderful time. We had a wonderful time. Brittney is a gem. Five hundred stars.
We decided to hire Brittney after booking most of the big-ticket items ourselves. We had been planning our wedding for over a year, and as we neared the big day, we came to the daunting realization that there was no way we could control all the small details needed to make this a perfect experience for us and our guests. Things were starting to fall through the cracks, and we were losing sleep. So after speaking to a few potential coordinators, we decided to hire Brittney two months prior to our wedding day. She seemed very calm, organized, and had a ton of experience. We couldn’t be happier with this decision!
As the bride, I was so relieved to have someone in the driver’s seat coordinating all the moving pieces. There were so many things that I did not even consider prior to Brittney, and all those small things in combination would have created pure chaos. One month before the wedding, our venue imposed unreasonable new rules that would have made it impossible to have an enjoyable event there. Brittney was immediately on it and found an even better venue for us. She literally prevented us from having a heart attack.
Leading up to the day, she had helpful lists and spreadsheets to keep us organized and on track. She coordinated a walkthrough with our vendors, had several calls with us going over each detail so that we were completely relaxed the week of the wedding. On the actual day, everything was smooth, everyone knew where they needed to be and at what time. It seems like there was zero confusion or chaos. We honestly had the most perfect day. We were calm, we were able to focus on each other and our families, and we were able to fully absorb every precious moment! Thank you, Brittney and team!

From our first planning call, when she sent us her incredible planning documents (the most detailed & clear lists/timelines/vendor suggestions, etc) she made us feel calm & secure. We just knew that no matter what happened, she was in our corner. And then 2020 happened...we were one of the many couples forced to postpone/reimagine our original plan and Brittney was there every step of the way with ideas, solutions & general encouragement. I honestly don't know how we'd have gotten through the postponement without her! I couldn't keep up with the changing the safety protocols but Brittney always had the answers. It was so comforting to know that she was on top of it & I didn't have to add another thing to my list! She also created a safe space for me unload my feelings, be sad, whine or complain. Having Brittney to talk to was a total game changer. She knew exactly what we were dealing with and was always there to listen, offer encouragement & support.
On the day of our wedding, I woke up so calm. I knew I had nothing to worry about because Brittney had helped keep us on track throughout the planning process, everything was done & the BLB team was at the venue handling setup. I knew that I wasn't going to get a panicked phone call or text from a vendor who didn't know where to go or what to do. Once we got to the venue for our first look, everything was perfect. The vendors were setting up & all the little details that Brittney & I had talked about were there (because she kept track of them all). Throughout the night, we had nothing to worry about. Brittney had it covered. A perfect example of how on top of everything she was...my dad got up to give his toast & realized that he'd forgotten his champagne glass. No problem! Brittney noticed & there she was with a glass for him. He didn't have to say a thing, didn't stop his speech, Brittney & that glass just appeared, like magic.

Our Sept 2021 NYC wedding went off without a hitch due to Brittney and her team at BLB Events. She was very organized and on top of every little details which allowed us to not have to think about anything on the day of our wedding. Brittney was a god send in helping us plan for our May 2021 wedding. Like so many others, we had really gone through the wringer in planning a wedding during covid, with 3 different venues. We hired BLB for month of coordination and Brittney was able to turn around what had become a rather depressing process and make it something not only manageable but enjoyable. I was able to relax knowing that she was handling all of the coordination and focus on being excited for our wedding day! The day of was amazing, I didn't have to worry about a thing knowing Brittney and her team were there. I couldn't tell you where my cell phone was at all that day, that's how confident I was that things were going smoothly. 12/10 stars!
We planned our April 2021 wedding in the middle of a pandemic—which is to say that we really planned 3-5 different weddings, when you consider all the pivoting and reimagining involved as the cases skyrocketed and fluctuated. And every step of the way, Brittney was THE MOST grounding, calming, and practical presence throughout. DIY weddings can be death by a thousand paper cuts, but Brittney's creativity and planning was LITERALLY the thing that allowed us to FULLY enjoy and be present on our wedding day.
She started our process by listening to understand what our biggest values were—and she made sure to plan and ideate according to those values throughout months of planning and re-working. She's brilliant, creative, and innovative, and was able to tell us what works and doesn't work from an events/attendee perspective. We would spit out all our different ideas, and she'd encourage or tweak depending on her expertise having planned and coordinated no shortage of weddings. Most of all, she was a steady, non-anxious presence, which my partner and I immensely appreciated because our flailing, stressed-out selves would walk out of every meeting with her feeling SO relieved and taken care of.
I will also add that I had several consultation calls with a variety of planners, and I found that Brittney met our needs in terms of listening, strategy/planning, and affordability the best. I was so impressed with the wealth of information and creativity she shared from our free consult call alone, and can attest that she continued to impress us each and every step of the way.

We couldn't be happier with the amazing work of BLB. Brittney was fabulous at talking us through all the questions--the ones we knew we had and those we didn't!--leading up to the wedding, while Tara was there to lead day-of and executed everything absolutely perfectly. They totally got what we did and didn't care about, and truly made it easy for us to enjoy the day.
When our photographer broke her ankle two days before, Brittney was on top of it immediately and got to work--within hours, we had found a replacement who turned out to be absolutely perfect for us. Tara made sure to check in with us throughout the night, bringing us food and drinks and generally making sure all was well. All the vendors, the setup, the flow of the night, and the cleanup were truly flawless. Our decor was pretty simple, but Tara and Caitlin really made it sing.
It was truly priceless--but for what we paid, also an amazing value. So many of our guests who had gotten married said "why didn't we have a Tara?" Don't think twice, work with BLB and make the most of your day!
I worked with Brittney for day-of coordination for my wedding at Frankies Spuntino and also bought some consulting hours to meet with her in the run-up to (which I highly recommend!). Brittney is super organized, gave great advice and suggestions, and exudes good vibes and calm energy, which you definitely will appreciate on the day of! I really appreciated her effort to meet up in-person in the planning and the smooth communications. I could go on about this Wonder Woman for hours! Brittney was incredibly easy to talk to during our initial phone call, asking thoughtful questions and sharing ideas and even some vendor names, and made hiring her the easiest decision of the whole wedding-planning process! We worked with her as a day-of coordinator, but she went so far above and beyond that. She has a set of super-organized documents that are easy to fill out so that everyone involved is up to date at all times. She made herself available for countless emails, several phone calls, a venue walk-thru, meeting with the caterer, and even helped us to choose rentals. She kept me on track every step of the way, and never made me feel like I was doing too much, too little, or going crazy :) She had plenty of suggestions for everything from our floor plan to schedule to overall vibe. I felt like we understood each other and knew going into our day that she would prioritize everything that was important to us.
On our wedding day, Brittney and her team handled literally everything. We got married in a raw space and had to hire all of our vendors separately, and she handled the communication, air traffic control, load-in, set-up, rehearsal... totally seamlessly. If anything didn't happen according to plan, I still have no idea about it! I truly did not worry about anything (which was a good thing because I was incredibly nervous about the actual ceremony). I trusted that based on the relationship I had built with Brittney, everything would fall into place magically – and she delivered and seriously brought the magic! My husband and I were able to enjoy each other, our terrible dance moves, and our many, many guests.

I really enjoyed working with Brittney the months leading up to the wedding and the day of. From the first phone call I felt like she really understood what I was looking for in an event planner and was very on top of all the details. I am kind of a control freak, but I felt really comfortable with Brittney and trusted her very quickly because I felt like she was on top of everything, following up with vendors, calling to help get things straightened out, and remembering or suggesting things I hadn't even thought of! The day of she was great, it was raining in the morning, so she dropped off an umbrella for me and my husband to use, just in case we needed it for photos or walking. She helped coordinate everything according to the timeline we agreed on during the day of. She made sure the decor and tables were setup exactly how I wanted and made it so my husband and I could just relax and enjoy instead of worrying if everything was going to plan or not. Brittney also worked with me on my budget and had worked with my venue and a lot of my vendors in Brooklyn before. I'd highly recommend Brittney and the BLB team!

Brittney was officially our day-of-coordinator but she became so much more than that! She came out to our venue a month beforehand and patiently walked through the entire space with our caterer to figure out all the logistical details. From that point on she became our wedding "doula," listening patiently and being supportive through all our last minute questions and issues. She also made several spreadsheets for us to organize our logistics. On the day of, the venue itself was very difficult and she became our rock. When there were any issues at all, I told everyone to find Brittney. I felt like she could handle anything. Definitely a worthwhile investment!
A month before the wedding, I realized I couldn't be in several places at once the day of (even with my planning experience!). I reached out to Brittney and immediately I felt at ease. I knew the day was going to be in good hands with her. She understood our vision and intention. She worked beautifully alongside our venue and photographer. Several of our guests came up to me and described at length how great Brittney was. She's professional, creative, and incredibly organized. She made sure everyone was taken care of; I was especially grateful for the plates of food and a drink for when we were ready to eat. Brittney took care of all of the day of logistics and helped to make our day perfect. Yes, you need a coordinator for your wedding and yes, you should absolutely work with Brittney!
My husband and I were very excited when we booked our venue. However, it was basically a blank space and I quickly became overwhelmed by everything I would need to do. My friend suggested I look into a wedding planner. I found Brittney on my venues instagram page where she was tagged in a beautiful ceremony picture.
I knew after the first phone call with Brittney that she was the one. She has such a warm and jovial personality. She is very attentive and has impeccable attention to detail - with both planning and listening to requests. Instead of being stressed out, I actually enjoyed planning my wedding and that was because of Brittney.
Tara, the coordinator, was also present in the planning and was a true professional the day of the wedding. She was calm, collected, and organized which in turn made me feel confident and relaxed which is saying a lot when its your wedding day. We were apprehensive at first about investing in a day of coordinator because we were already anxious about keeping an eye on our budget and being mindful to not overdo things. That said, my now husband says that of all the vendors we used, Brittney was the one who was worth every penny. We had a very complicated wedding scenario (a raw space without a kitchen so there were a lot of logistics to work around), but Brittney handled everything. She was always so nice via phone, email, and text. I would re-hire her in a heartbeat. She consistently checked in with us ahead of the wedding and made us feel so much more prepared for the big day. What can I say about Brittney and her team other than they were a godsend! Brittney was so helpful from the moment we met. She was attentive and helped calm me down and keep me on track with my wedding. Throughout our wedding journey she kept in touch, asked for updates and gave suggestions on things we would need or needed to have done. Even on the day of, she helped extinguished my many freak-outs and she quickly jumped in to solve any problems I had. From start to finish, they were there. The decor her and her team implemented was more beautiful than I can imagine. My husband and I are super happy we had BLB Events to help us with our big day and can't thank then enough.
The wedding went extremely well, Brittney did a great job of recommending vendors and giving advice. I would estimate that at 500 emails went back and forth between the two of us and Brittney in the months building up to the wedding, she sure did a lot of work!
Have you ever thought of what it could be like to hire your best friend as your wedding coordinator? That is how I felt working with Brittney! I can't even begin to imagine what our wedding day would have been like without her. I knew from the beginning of wedding planning, that I wanted to hire a day of coordinator. Someone to take care of all of the last minute details so that my husband and I could just enjoy the day: Take care of tips, make sure all the vendors showed up when they were supposed to, etc.
Brittney...was so much more. From the first day working together she provided helpful tips to consider, recommendations on vendors and was ALWAYS available for miscellaneous questions as they arose. We were in contact at LEAST once a month to to check in and see what stage of planning we were at.
About 6 weeks out from the wedding Brittney and I had a details call to run through the day and discuss what was left to do and Brittney asked, "what are you most worried about...I'll handle it!" She went above and beyond in every aspect, she was calm, sweet, funny, direct and most importantly reliable and trustworthy to the max. She executed our perfect wedding day. Specifically, we were getting ready to enter our reception and I panicked. I had a toast I wrote for my younger brother who is deployed. I forgot it. I quickly flagged Brittney down and asked her if she could find it, her response..."It will be on your chair!" and it was!

We entered a raffle at a wedding expo and won Brittney’s day of services which was a nice thing to have because I probably wouldn’t have thought to obtain a day of coordinator otherwise. Brittney is easygoing, professional, friendly and accommodating. We began communication almost immediately and she was happy to assist me in answering questions or bouncing off ideas as the wedding got closer. About a month out she scheduled a venue walkthrough and knew all the right questions to ask. She did a great job of taking our interests into consideration and maintaining our vibe. The day of the wedding I scheduled her to come around 4pm which was my mistake-if you are going with a day of coordinator I recommend having them meet you while you’re getting ready as the bulk of the issues come up at that time, there is just so much to focus on. Brittney did a great job of setting up the venue and maintaining the flow of the event, she listened to my many requests and executed them very well the day of the wedding. We had some problems come up with some of our rowdy guests and Brittney handled it seamlessly and quietly-even though they were very difficult. She also dropped us a little note to say thanks in our card box which I thought was such a sweet sentiment!
We absolutely LOVED working with Brittney. If you think you don’t need a day of coordinator, I’m here to tell you you’re wrong. If you’re thinking about hiring anyone but Brittney, again, I’m here to tell you you’re wrong. Brittney is absolutely amazing, professionally and personally. Brittney was a rockstar day-of-coordinator. With limited time to go over the day-of-plans, we were impressed with how easy and effortless she made us feel before, during and after the wedding. Brittney is an excellent day of coordinator and I am so thankful my husband found her! We didn’t have a wedding planner and as our wedding day was approaching I got increasingly stressed about making sure everything would fall into place. Brittney is a great wedding planner, and we were so lucky to work with her! My now-husband and I knew that we wanted a wedding in a raw-space venue, filled with personal touches that would reflect who we are as a couple. Little did we know that personal touches are a ton of work, and we couldn't have done it without Brittney. She was there for us every step of the way. Brittney's down-to-earth personality, great listening skills, and fast responsiveness made it very easy to work with her. She is extremely organized and helped keep us on track when it came to the wedding planning timeline and budget. Brittney was amazing at communicating with all of our wedding vendors, and tried her best to make herself available for every walkthrough, phone call and vendor meeting. Our wedding was truly a vision come to life. Everything went very smoothly with a couple of minor hiccups along the way, which Brittney was able to fix effortlessly. Go figure that a ketubah can go missing, but Brittney was able to save the day!
I could not speak more highly of Brittney and BLB Events. She was the best decision I made when it came to our wedding. Brittney is so talented at listening to a couple’s vision for their day, understanding it, and translating it into reality. From our first interaction, through the venue walk-through, through our wedding day, Brittney was an invaluable resource. She recommended amazing vendors, shared creative ideas, and kept our planning on track with regular check-ins. On the day of our wedding, she was an absolute magician. She was punctual, polished, organized, and absolutely unflappable throughout the evening. If anything went wrong or there were any challenges, we were completely unaware and she handled everything with tact. Having her there allowed us to feel entirely relaxed and truly enjoy the evening worry-free. Brittney set out all of our décor (she has an incredible eye for design) and she organized and distributed it for removal at the end of the evening. She managed all the vendors and logistics that go along with that, including personally adjusting the dinner music when it was too loud and our DJ was nowhere to be found. She thought of every detail. So many guests commented on how smoothly each phase of the evening ran and her work in general – For instance, we didn’t have any announcements telling guests to move to cocktail hour or into the ballroom for dinner, or downstairs for dancing. Brittney made sure it happened cleanly and efficiently. No one felt rushed and feeling like our evening didn’t fly by in a blur is entirely due to Brittney managing everything so elegantly. I’m not sure that this review even does justice to the incredible work she did – she is exceptional and an overall lovely person to boot.
We hired Brittney as a day of coordinator. This was the best decision we could have made. She was easy to work with, professional, organized, and made everything go incredibly smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing at the wedding. Even though we hired her just for day of, she was available to answer our many questions as we went through the planning process. She is seriously the BEST!
Brittney is absolutely phenomenal! She was our Day-Of coordinator and was a rock in the planning process for the last few months.
Brittney is a pleasure to be with (so important for someone with whom you will have lots of phone calls and emails), and really knows her stuff. She kept us moving and focused through her organization and because she is so responsive.
