It was also great having them do the set up and clean up so we did not have to have our family do it. Overall great experience and I would recommend, also a major plus that it is a female run business!

calmly and very quickly - The food was delicious - people in particular raved about the bacon pepper cream cheese appetizer - Every interaction with the team (primarily Jasmyn and Cerstin, but really everyone) was just delightful - They are consummate professionals with a plan for every possibility - They went above and beyond on simple things like helping with desserts (from a different vendor) or drinks (which we provided ourselves) without complaint and without asking us for an upcharge for each small thing. This was markedly different from other vendors who frequently said things like "that's not part of our contract" If we do another large event in the Bend area, we will 100% be working with Bleu Bite. We would even pay a substantially higher price just due to how amazing the team is to work with.

baffling. I hope no one makes the same mistake we did using Bleu Bite as a caterer. Like most folks who are looking for a caterer, we saw that Bleu Bite came in highly recommended for our wedding. Everything was fine up until our tasting. During our tasting there were some items we really enjoyed, but there was one option that was inedible (I don’t use this term lightly), another that was unseasoned and multiple that were overcooked. I politely requested to try an additional protein option because of the four protein options we tried, only one was a good fit for us. During our call with Bleu Bite to request to taste another option, Vivian (the Customer Service Manager) told us it was against their policy to offer any other tasting options and they were NOT going to provide another option to try. I let her know that only protein option worked for us and we felt uncomfortable spending such a sum of money on something we weren’t confident was going to be a fit for us. I even offered to PAY MORE for the additional tasting and they said NO—take it or leave it. I asked them to have the owner to call me to discuss terminating our contact over ONE additional item to taste because I felt I had no other choice. Not only did the manager NOT CALL, I woke up to an email from them letting us know they’re refunding our deposit (essentially cancelling our contract) before being respectful enough to call me about it first as I had requested. Side note: I was told the Owner was on vacation for the next week and wouldn’t be able to get back to me, but somehow she managed to have time the very next day to cancel our contract. To know that this company does absolutely nothing to accommodate their customers AND in the face of conflict won’t even be respectful enough to notify you before walking away from your agreement should make anyone run for the hills. Bleu Bite—I wish you well and hope you will consider changing your business practices and attitude. Screenshots attached.

were able to get us a meal tasting to go. They easily accommodated the dietary restrictions of our vegan and gluten-free guests with both the appetizers and dinner. We could have eaten the apps all night long; fried risotto, pork sliders, and mac n cheese cups were too delicious. And the dinner was also great. The salmon and pork chop were not dry, and each had a nice sauce. My wife is from Idaho and her family can be critical of potatoes, but the mashed potatoes were a hit across the whole wedding. Bleu Bite even sent us home with some dinner leftovers. They were great to work with from start to finish and at a great price.

ood was exceptional. OMG the salmon pasta was delicious! I would recommend working with Bleu Bite Catering for your special event or wedding. They did an excellent job for us! They even allowed us to store our liquor, beer, wine and mixers at their business location a few days before the event to keep everything chilled. Professional, communicative, responsive, valuable - all amazing things! Book them now before someone else does!

ring staff who worked the wedding (they were nice); they were overworked by their bosses who decided to take on far too many weddings given the number of staff. Even if demand is at an all time high and all the money sounds nice, I suggest considering how many events you agree to because otherwise the quality of your service will suffer as it did for my wedding. I almost did not write this review months later because I just wanted to move on and well, life happens. But I think it's important that people considering this caterer know what they are getting themselves into. First, my planner had to keep pestering them for the next steps after signing the contract, with long periods of no response. From about 6 weeks up until 1 week before the wedding, there was complete silence from them. They did not confirm the final menu with us despite both of us reaching out to them multiple times. They didn't even respond to say "Hold on, we are so busy but we will get back to you soon." Nothing. As you can imagine, this was concerning. My planner was shocked and frustrated by this. I later heard the owners had covid, but at least have someone send an email! Second, they screwed up our tasting (before the long period of silence), leaving a dish out and when we requested to get the dish to try later, they said too bad we won't give it to you. Their explanation was they made a decision on their own that two dishes were similar enough that they would only give us one to try (?!). Third, the women on the phone was nasty when I asked about the tasting. I believe her name was Vivian. Later, we were told Vivian doesn't speak to customers often and that explains her attitude. Still no apology or making up for the tasting screw up. I should have seen the red flags and found another caterer at this point but it was slim pickings getting close to the wedding. Fourth, in our questionnaire we stated the theme of the wedding that revolved around a food and how important it was to have this food at the wedding (it was from their menu). Despite us having that food on the final menu, it was not served at the wedding. We paid the same amount for some salty roasted vegetables that did not include the food we made clear we wanted in our requests. Fifth, the salmon was cold and dry when served and the rest of the food was burnt. I even had guests commenting on it (which I personally would never tell the bride if I didn't like the food at her wedding, but that's me haha). The only food people raved about was the mac and cheese... Sixth, I now remember they offered to add stuffed portabello mushrooms at no extra cost to make up for their lack of communication, but funny thing is they never brought this dish. It was all talk. Maybe there's a communication break down back in the kitchen (which was filthy when I went in to pick up my tasting, btw). I am happy to close this chapter now, knowing I will never use this caterer again. Thank goodness for the LOVE, family, good friends, and good music that evening, mattering way more than a confusingly high-rated poor quality catering business. I hope this review helps someone making decisions for their big day.

s on anything we needed - Provided great referrals for things they did not provide Cons - Not very responsive - Had to be very specific with details. As an example, we provided kegs and cans of beer and had Bleu Bite bartend. We wish the bartender would have focused on the kegs first before handing out cans. We ended the night with almost two full kegs, whereas the cans could have been saved longer.

table matched well with our theme of rustic, outdoorsy, country. The entire team was thoughtful, detail-oriented, kind, and efficient. It ended up being a VERY windy day, and they helped us secure things to prevent the wind from blowing everything away (even beyond just catering related items). They were organized and their client portal was a great way to keep all the communications together. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them to cater your wedding!

running around to say hi and thank everyone they made sure to serve my husband and I our food first and hunted me down every so often to see if I needed a drink. During setup we discovered I hadn't actually booked and brought plates which I told them I would provide but they were able to run back to their office and grab paper plates which worked out just wonderfully. We spent a couple hundred dollars more to help with wedding break-down and cleanup and I'm so glad we did! It made getting out the door at the end of the festivities so much less stressful. They did such a great job I feel confident we'll get our full security deposit back. Overall they were wonderful to work with and I'd 100% recommend them without a moments hesitation.

Bite staff was great at clearing tables and putting out new food. Setting up our event details with Cerstin and Janie was so easy and comfortable. They checked in with us frequently (but not too frequently) about updates and changes to our event details and from my perspective, everything went perfectly! They have worked at our venue many times and knew exactly what to do. You cannot go wrong hiring Bleu Bite for your wedding—excellent food and excellent service!

. Over all it just lacked luster so to speak. However when it came to the wedding I can't say enough good things. The food was fantastic! So many guests loved everything we had. The one comment I would like to make their "set up" and "clean up" they offer isn't worth it. We got the "clean up" knowing we could set up the day before but didn't want to clean up that night, but as it turns out and we were only told the night of the wedding it only includes tables and chairs not decorations. I'm not sure if the servers were just trying to avoid doing that other stuff and told us that or if it’s true. But the food is the main thing and i have no complains in that area and they even gave us all the left overs! Yumm
