Susan was amazing to work with, and the food at our wedding was EXCELLENT! Guests continue to rave about the lasagna, salmon, potatoes, and mushrooms (we had a pescatarian wedding), and Susan was able to work with dietary restrictions and kids meals easily. We were married in a backyard, so Susan came out to the site the week before to figure out what she’d need to make our vision work, and pulled it off spectacularly, even making a call to our rental company for us to determine exactly what she’d need. She had us over to her home for a tasting before we formally booked her, and we were so impressed by the quality and value of her services! Cannot recommend Bliss Caterers highly enough!

We had a really great experience with Bliss Caterers for our 7/15/23 wedding. We had a different caterer who was being very shady with us and last minute, about 3-4 months before our wedding we reached out to Susan at Bliss Catering and she was amazing! She was very kind and thoughtful throughout our process. She made sure that the entire menu fit our budget well and that it was quality food. We did not get to do a tasting as we were located in FL and could not make a trip up, but the food was delicious. We received several compliments on how delicious the food was, and I would agree it was fresh and very flavorful. I only decided to give them 4 stars because we asked and PAID for a coffee and tea station after our meal and that was never set up or given. I was fiending for some caffeine at one point and remembered we had paid for a coffee station, but it was not to be found. I would say to make sure that you have a good day of coordinator for small details like this on the day of your wedding that can go awry. This seemed like an innocent mistake, so I would not judge this company on it, but I did have to mention it! I would highly recommend Susan and Bliss Catering for your wedding or event. They are super affordable and great quality. They will work with your budget!

Delicious! Susan had us at her house for our tasting and it was so personal! The food was my guests favorite part of the wedding, they’re still talking about it weeks later!

Susan and her team were absolutely amazing! Susan let us create our own menu from apps to entrees, and everything was fabulous! We postponed due to covid, and Susan let us change our menu multiple times as we had over 3 years to think about it! Susan's staff were so friendly and worked so hard to make our day great. Everyone raved about the food even days later. We could never thank you enough Susan and team!!!!

We worked with Bliss Caters for our wedding reception but also for a Sunday morning brunch for our family! Susan was great to work with start to finish discussing and changing the menus to accommodate everyone! We also did a late night French fry snack that was so fun for us and our guests! We would highly recommend!

We chose to go with Bliss Caterers for our wedding in Scarborough, ME because it “checked all the boxes” we were looking for in a potential wedding caterer. They are located in the Greater Portland area, so they were really close by to our venue, and planning our wedding from Nashville, TN that was going to be a factor in our limited time and trips we could make up to Scarborough throughout the planning process for a tasting. We also had to take into account how large our wedding was, and what our budget was - Bliss’ neighborhood of pricing was very reasonable for us. Another thing we loved about Bliss was how customizable the menu options were, across the board - in addition to seeing how many different options Susan had listed for Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Dairy-Free, Nut Allergies, and any other diet restriction or allergy we were aware of in our guest pool. Nearly everything on her menu could be adjusted for any intolerance we would be worried about, this was a big thing for us. Susan was so sweet and welcoming, we were looking to do our tasting during one of our holiday trips to New England, and it was right in the middle of the pandemic, pre-vaccines. She invited us to come up to her house, and set up her garage with a table and table settings, and brought out one by one, every appetizer and course we told her we were interested in, and we had our own private tasting in her garage! She apologized for the cold, but it wasn’t her fault - we were just ecstatic that she was willing to be flexible and work with our timeline and host us for a tasting amidst everything going on! Everything she brought out was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! We couldn never tell the difference when she would tell us something was gluten-free, or dairy-free, or vegan. We were pretty sold after the tasting, we were confident our food was going to be great, and everyone was going to get a meal that would taste amazing, regardless of their dietary restrictions. Susan’s crew for the wedding was amazing, so professional. They even broke down all the tables and chairs for us. The food was as advertised and everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. We wouldn’t have done it any other way, and we were so glad we went with Susan and Bliss Catering.

We hired Bliss Catering for our August 2020 engagement party and our July 2021 wedding and were so happy with the food for both events! Susan is wonderful and so easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, we had three planning meetings with her to make sure all details were covered. The day of the wedding, the food was amazing! All of our guests were raving about how great the food was. Susan did an amazing job and I would 10 out of 10 recommend Bliss Catering!

Sue and her team made feeding my guests for my engagement party a breeze. Not to mention how GREAT the food was and how many compliments I got on it! (And the leftovers she packaged up for me were delicious the following days) Her team flowed through appetizers, dinner AND dessert flawlessly! Planning with Sue was easy and communication was great. Couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend.

We had Bliss cater our daughter's wedding on May 11th in Cape Elizabeth, ME at Sprague Hall. She and her staff did a wonderful job. The food was wonderfully fresh, deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. The guests came forward unsolicited to tell us how much they enjoyed their meals and appetizers. Susan did anything and everything she could to give us all that we asked for and remained within our budget. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her and Bliss Caterers. Susan and the rest of the staff at Bliss Catering are fantastic. They were very responsive and professional in communication leading up the our big day as well as on our wedding day. Susan really went out of her way to help us with everything and anything that we needed. The food was also fantastic. We had only rave reviews from our guests about the food both at cocktail hour and dinner. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing catering company.

Susan and her team at Bliss Caterers were absolutely wonderful for our wedding in July at the Barn at Silver Oaks Estate in Maine. Susan was easy to communicate with and flexible to work with, easily making changes to the menu to fit our guests needs and our wants. The passed appetizers were beautifully presented and delicious. Our dinner was again, presented well, delicious and warm when placed. We had so many compliments from our guests on how good the food was and how impressed they were, specifically with the beef tenderloin! Susan and her staff were prompt and professional. Susan and all of the Bliss staff did an incredible job with the catering for my post-wedding brunch we hosted the next morning at my parent's house. Susan was very easy to work with and she and her team were flexible with figuring out plan b as it was pouring rain the morning of the brunch that was supposed to be outdoors! The food was fantastic - her mac n cheese and egg frittata are not to be missed! I highly recommend Bliss Caterers for your next event!

Susan and the staff of Bliss Caterers did an absolute wonderful job for my daughter's wedding. Their attention to detail is fantastic, and they are extremely flexible!! The food was fabulous and now nearly three months later, we are still receiving compliments about the quality of the food and the exceptional level of service from our guests.
