Hired this company, aka Events By Bliss LLC, and Bliss Entertainment Event Group for my wedding.
Order included Bistro String Lighting $850; Marquee Letter Lights $285; Uplighting $400; Sparkular Pyro Tech (for first kiss) $1580.
When bride and I came into reception for grand entrance (over an hour into reception) our uplighting was not on and I had to contact this vendor.
When staff at our venue was able to get the uplighting on the color was not as ordered. What was supposed to be a mix of blush and champagne to match our wedding colors turned out to be all purple. In addition pyro tech sparkulars did not function correctly. One of the four did not work first attempt and then two of four failed second attempt.
I originally had dealt with Ryan Fernandez whose email signature listed him as owner. The day of the wedding and subsequent communication was with someone named Jose Vega.
Jose admitted there was a problem. Offered refund for the uplighting ($400) and offered partial refund for pyro ($600). When I pushed for full refund and compensation owner said I would not get anything that they considered the case closed due to their no refund policy. They take no responsibility for not providing what was ordered and ruining first kiss photos and reception photos with wrong background colors.
At a bare minimum the full amount of the pyro tech sparkulars ($1580) and uplighting ($400) should have been refunded...but they certainly owed more for ruining our first kiss photo with what was supposed to be a beautiful pyro display behind us---and ruined what would have been a beautiful part of our wedding video as our videographer also had a drone covering the event. Would have been amazing.
I will be taking these guys to small claims court.
Take your business elsewhere.
I had my wedding in December... I was promised my video will be done in 5 to 6 weeks since it is not a busy wedding season. I contacted the owner in February he said it's not done and hell ask for an update and let me know.. May comes by and I haven't heard anything. So I contacted him and all I get is its not done yet and he'll let me know.. so end of may I message him saying this is unacceptable and he gave me an excuse that's unacceptable and he told me he will let me know today when it'll be done, the day went by I didn't hear anything. So I messaged him next day stating it is the next day and he didn't respond. two weeks later and no response. His assistant Teeka and the videographers that came were wonderful but the owner is unprofessional and rude. This is so sad that my video is making me upset and stressed that it will be bad and seeing people that got married after me have their video and I still haven't gotten mine.
Our experience with Bliss initially was fantastic. We realized about a week or 2 before our wedding that we still needed uplighting and Bliss was able to fit us in last minute during a busy fall wedding season. Ryan was quick to respond and very helpful. Their technology is up-to-date with an abundance of lighting options to choose from, and their pricing is reasonable compared to other lighting vendors in the valley. However, we were disappointed in their service the day of our wedding. My husband saw the Bliss staff setting up our lighting as our guests were entering the banquet room for our dinner reception though we were under the impression that they set up as early as noon the day of the event when we booked Bliss. My husband and I were very excited about our custom cake topper that we wanted to highlight with a pin lighting, but the Bliss staff appeared to have forgotten and left it out of their set-up. Ryan was slower to respond after the wedding when my husband contacted him for a refund for the missing pin lighting and mentioned the late set-up. Although we did receive a refund, we were a little appalled that no apologies were given during the entire refund process for the late set-up as well as missing pin lighting. We'd give Bliss a 4-5 stars rating, but unfortunately, we were disappointed by their execution and customer service in the end.
We chose Bliss for the monogram and up lighting for our wedding, and could not be happier with the results! Ryan made the process super painless and when we arrived at our reception, everything was set up beautifully! We had many compliments from our guests about how classic and elegant the monogram was, and how the lighting perfectly set the room.
We used Bliss for our lighting and DJ providers. They killed it! First, we found out we needed an outside lighting vendor 2 months before the wedding. After irritating conversations with a few companies, I found Ryan at Bliss. We had a great chat and their prices were the best. They wanted it to look perfect and we met up to look at the colors for lighting beforehand. Fast forward to a month before the wedding, when our DJ flaked on us. So I call Ryan again, and they love providing DJ services as well! The entire reception everyone was on the dance floor. The venue even made comments about what a great party it was. They kept it going!! They used a wedding planner to get all the details and our professional planner even said they were wonderful to work with. They truly love what they do and although I've seen a ton of pictures of uplighting, monograms, etc., we really felt that they personalized our event. The venue again said that it was the best they'd seen the ballroom in a long time. The speaker even blew at one point and they had it up in running in a minute, whereas I've heard horror stories before. We used that time to get a group dance shot! Great to work with, outstanding lighting, true pride in what they do, amazing party atmosphere, SO many compliments. Thank you Bliss/Ryan/Ren!!
