Rachel at Bliss Events was the best vendor for my entire wedding planning experience. Because of her, my mother and I, were able to be guests at our own event. We were able to show up and enjoy every single second, and that is due to the amaz...ing organization and professionalism of Rachel and Bliss Events.
Initially, I was not intending to hire a coordinator, between my mother and I we’ve done enough events and are both Type A people that we thought we could pull it off. However, when my venue expressed that I need to hire, at the very least, a day of coordinator I was at a loss. This was not an expense that I had budgeted for and didn’t know where to begin. I was planning a mini destination wedding (I live in Orange County & wedding was in San Diego), I didn’t know where to start and who to ask for guidance, my venue – Estancia Hotel & Spa – suggested I contact Rachel at Bliss events, and I’m SO GLAD that they did.
After my first meeting with her, it was a love at first sight (well virtual sight). Every single concern I initially had, she was able to extinguish it with only a couple suggestions. We decided to hire Bliss Events with their Month of Package – ultimately once it was 4 weeks before the wedding Rachel would take control.
Before I hit the 4 weeks prior mark, as in any wedding planning, there was dilemma/drama, décor questions, vendor questions, planning questions – all fairly simple and quick – however truly needed a professional’s opinion. Rachel was open and willing to assist! Throughout my 13 month engagement, Rachel became much more than just my “month of” coordinator, she became my confidant, supporter, and friend. I knew wedding planning would be hard with so many cooks in my kitchen (including a Groom-zilla), but I didn’t know how hard. Without Rachel, I would have jumped off a cliff!
Once the 4 week make came, Rachel took everything away from me. She collected my vendor’s information, my bridal party’s information, and any other tidbit of information she would me to make me not needed on the day. Rachel then put together an entire itinerary including the smallest of details from when each vendor arrived to when we cut the cake. She confirmed with each vendor their arrival time & place, then made sure they had her information for any questions to make sure that I had ZERO stress on the day of.
When it was WEDDING WEEKEND time, the only two things I was responsible for was 1. Getting myself there and 2. Bringing my wedding dress.
On the BIG DAY, Rachel was there bright and early managing every tiny little detail. Looking back, all I did was arrive, smile, and go where Rachel told me to go. Everything went PERFECTLY!!!
At one point at our reception, I noticed a couple that I had not seen or met before (even with a 260 person wedding, I’m pretty proud that I could at least recognized everyone). Rachel was on it and threw out our party crashers in a swift, strict, and professional manner.
I cannot express enough how amazing Rachel and her team are! In my first meeting with Rachel, I told her I just wanted to show up and be told what to do on my big day, and that’s exactly what she did for me AND my mother!
Rachel and Bliss events are the best choice you can absolutely go with, she is patient, extremely organized, and amazing in every way. You will agree with me, that she will be your BEST VENDOR out of your entire wedding & well worth the investment.
