At one point during our wedding, I was stressing about the timeline of the day, and Margaret told me to “shut my brain off” and that she would handle it - and she did. Bloom & Bower is not just a physical place to get married. bnb for two nights, which was convenient for the rehearsal night, and created bonding time for everyone to get to know each other. They even set up some tables for our rehearsal dinner. The airbnb was beyond comfy and clean. The tub was the best part, although I didn't know it was well water and was surprised when the bath water was yellow haha. The staff was extremely helpful gathering everything at the end of the night, things that we would've forget. Everything was consolidated in boxes outside the barn airbnb for us to take home the next morning. They truly thought of everything. We received so many compliments from our guests about how stunning the property was. The natural scenery made for the most beautiful backdrop.. it really set the tone for such an important and beautiful day. I can't WAIT to get our pictures back, the greenery was scenic and well maintained, it made for the most beautiful pictures. Margaret truly made the experience unforgettable. She was such a calming, reassuring presence through the entire planning process and the big day. It was especially helpful for an anxious bride like myself. During rehearsal, a groomsman had a medical emergency and Margaret was right on top of it- calling for EMS and staying around to make sure he was okay. She truly cares about everyone in your circle. She had such a chill, easygoing vibe, but don’t let that fool you—she was ON top of it. Like it came second nature to her, showing no stress whatsoever. She handled everything behind the scenes so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She planned and provided most of the decor, managed our entire timeline, coordinated with vendors, and easily navigated through tricky family dynamics for the wedding. I will never forget right after our ceremony, she was waiting with our drinks in hand at the end of the isle, as we were exiting. It was such a small thing, but it meant so much and showed how thoughtful and prepared she was. Having a wedding coordinator like her included in the venue package was honestly one of the biggest reasons we chose Bloom and Bower. It saved us so much stress, money, time, and let us just enjoy our day. Choosing this venue was the best decision we made. Everything came together beautifully, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to make it happen.

d was decorated to match our ideas and beyond. We were able to make use of the indoor and outdoor spaces during the reception. The property is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for picture opportunities and for guests to walk around or play yard games. My bridesmaids and I used the bed and breakfast the night before and got ready there in the morning. It was perfect and made for great getting ready photos. Plus the decorations are so cute inside. The Bloom & Bower staff exceeded all our our expectations and were ready to help with anything and everything. They were also beyond kind. In preparation from the reception, we were able to meet with the owner multiple times to tour the venue and for two planning meetings to make sure she understood exactly what we were hoping for. The owner, Margaret, is the most kind and genuine person. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and was there to make sure our day went smoothly. I will recommend this place to everyone! I couldn't imagine having our special day anywhere else.

She is amazing with communication. But, most of all, she is amazing with people. My husband and I felt like a priority during the entirety of our planning. I could text or email her at any time and always get a response quickly. She was kind and informative and never made me feel like a bother! When we were planning the timeline of our day, she even scheduled breaks throughout the course of the day. Prioritizing our mental health, our social battery, and our experience. But, most importantly, Margaret kept our love for each other at the center of the wedding. Something so simple, but something that is so often overlooked in the details and hectic timeline of a wedding day. It was a day that felt like ours. Bloom and Bower is a hidden piece of paradise in rural Ohio that has so much charm, character, and beauty. As a couple we loved the backdrop the property provided for pictures. Our guests enjoyed roaming the grounds and exploring. Tom & Margaret Hunt really take pride in their wedding venue and have the skill set to make every couple feel at home, relaxed, and give them the best celebration anyone could ever dream of. Margaret is the queen of coordination and wedding planning. She took on the role as our wedding planner/coordinator her experience and expertise in this field calmed our anxiety about the details and decisions that needed to be made. With Margaret we knew nothing was going to be missed. We had our ceremony and reception at Bloom & Bower. We also stayed the night in the “Glamping Tent” during our wedding night. It was such a fun experience to be tucked away on the property in a fully furnished, completely comfortable, and private space. Also on site is a beautiful barn style structure that a group of our guests stayed in after the reception concluded. All of the spaces were thoroughly enjoyed by us and our guests. The amenities were plentiful and everyone nothing but the best compliments of Bloom & Bower. We highly recommend Bloom & Bower to anyone searching for a wedding venue. It will be one of the best decisions you make when planning your wedding.

on along with the use of the decor closet etc, was all perfect. The disasters came on our wedding day which looking back the biggest thing we learned is that this venue just does not work for anything but perfect weather. We unfortunately had rain, wind and cold for our October wedding. The layout of the venue was not properly set up to have a successful reception for all vendors. Our food was cold due to the winds and there being no good spot for the caterer to keep the food out of the wind. Our guests out on the patio were cold and many left prior to the reception starting. The door to the barn had to be closed so the inside guests were warm which led to myself and husband feeling very disconnected from our guests outside. They couldn’t see us and we couldn’t see them. The DJ was also set under the awning which made it difficult to fully interact with everyone. Our guests told us they were asked to help move chairs and tables when transforming the dance floor. This was a huge disappointment considering how we paid for extra BB staff to assist with these things. The barn felt very cramped for the amount of people inside which left a very minimal spot to dance and some awkward photos/angles. I also think things would have gone smoother if we picked vendors that the venue has worked with in the past. There were several issues with communication as the day was going on between my photographer, Margaret and the bridal party. Things did not go or feel to have gone smoothly for the amount of prep and work I had done. Overall this is a gorgeous venue but I truly think it is for smaller weddings 80 and under, along with only good weather.

Margaret, Tom, and staff literally BEND OVER BACKWARDS to put out any fires and make sure everything runs smoothly. - Decor: Bloom & Bower has an extensive supply of decor, linens, tables, etc to save you literal thousands on your big day. And it saves you the trouble of reselling a bunch of items after the wedding. - Alcohol: This venue allows you to bring your own alcohol. Most venues make you pick through expensive packages that don’t even have exactly what you want. They also have a bartender on staff!!! - Comforting environment: I wanted people to have FUN at my wedding. I wanted people to laugh, dance, play games, make memories. And that’s exactly what this venue provides. Yard games for kids and to bring people together. Cozy sitting areas for the introverts. Inviting dance floor. Absolutely stunning gardens. You will want to live here. - The night of: they have both a bed&breakfast and a glamping tent on site. My husband and I stayed in the lovely tent and then we offered the b&b barn to our entire wedding party. This was a huge convenience for everyone! - And so much more!!! Planning a wedding is beyond stressful and booking with Bloom and Bower is going to make it so that you can simply breathe and enjoy the most important day to your life.

We let Margaret have pretty much full reign over everything, and she somehow nailed everything and knew exactly what we were looking for. We also invited our two dogs to be in the wedding. We asked if she had a staff member who could release them during their moment (which she 100% did not have to do). Her husband, Tom, was ready and willing. He worked with our dogs beforehand to make sure they were comfortable with him, listened to our tips for them, and chased one of our dogs around who just did not want to walk up the aisle. He never left them alone and made sure that they made it up to us (which, again, did not have to do). The staff was incredibly attentive; from the moment we arrived, they greeted us and asked what they could help us with. They set everything up where we asked, and tore everything down at the end of the night. We hardly had to lift a finger. If I could, I would have a complete redo of the day just to work with the lovely staff at Bloom & Bower. Everyone involved made our day so special, and we absolutely cannot thank them enough.

with Tom and Margaret. Both teams of crews were just so helpful and were 1000 percent competent in running our special days. They were so helpful in planning beforehand and also during our days. Tom even ran to the grocery store mid-reception to grab more ice and alcohol for us when we ran out quicker than we expected. The value for this venue is incredible and so much is included when you book here. ​They have so many decorations and cute signs and decor that we felt like we didn't have to buy a ton. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the scenery and venue space is here and we felt so well taken care of. Parking was just across the street. We also stayed in the Barn the night of our reception and had a fantastic stay and one of the best bbreakfasts we've had in a long time (complete with local farm bacon!). If you decide on this venue for your event, you will not be disappointed, I can assure you of that!
