Bloom Brigade

After struggling to find a florist that was within budget, would accommodate our needs (DIY elements to our centerpieces) and genuinely cared about our day, a bride-to-be coworker told me, "You have to go see my ladies". I'm so glad we did. I can't rave enough about the ladies at Bloom Brigade. They do amazing work, are so easy to talk to, honest, and are quick to answer emails. They truly care about making your day beautiful and will help however they can. Anytime I need flowers in the future, I know where I'm going.

My husband and I got married on November 12th and we chose Bloom Brigade as our florist. We didn't have any ideas for our flowers other than that we wanted them to be nice and compliment the rest of our wedding. The ladies at Bloom Brigade did a fantastic job with very little guidance from us. They were easy to get in touch with and so hard working. We had a quick turnaround at the church between the ceremony before us and our ceremony and they had everything set up quickly and it looked amazing. We had a literary themed wedding so they worked with us to incorporate vintage books, vases and vintage drawers into our centerpieces. Each table's centerpiece had a unique feature. We couldn't have been happier with how our flowers turned out!

I had a great experience with Bloom Brigade! I actually had a hard time choosing a florist because it is difficult to get a sense from many florists' websites what their work is like or what their style would be, etc. However, looking at Bloom Brigade's website, I could see right away the variety of styles in their bouquets and that they had talent for displaying them. I was sold when I saw on their website that they say they are not a retail florist shop, but more of a floral event planner. I was feeling like I could use all the help I could get in planning my wedding, so this felt perfect. When I met with Suzan and Carolyn, I told them I was getting married at a botanic garden and so was looking for loose, more wildflower-appearing bouquets and lots of greenery in the table decorations, but that was pretty much it for my ability to articulate a vision for what our flowers should look like. What colors? Some... pinks? And, like... yellows? Suzann and Carolyn however were full of ideas and very confident they could deliver exactly the feeling I was trying to capture. They stayed exactly within the budget I provided them and even provided a few complimentary pieces just because they felt would really help our space stand out. The wedding planner at the venue said S&C were lovely, very on top of things as far as set up on the wedding day, and a breeze to work with, and I felt the same. My flowers came out beautifully and I was very happy I chose Bloom Brigade to help me with the wedding!

For our wedding we went with Bloom Brigade. After our first meeting with them we know we found our florist. At the meeting Bloom Brigade asked what we wanted our flowers to look like. They took a lot of notes about our wedding. When they gave us a price quote we wanted to make some changes. They were accepting of our changes. A couple of weeks before the wedding they were able to put together a sample of our centerpieces. At the meeting we also went through our final number of tables and chairs needed. They also asked for the venue’s phone number so they could directly contact them with any specific questions so I was not playing go between. When the wedding day came they showed up about 11 for our 3:30 ceremony and spent several hours to set everything up. They even offered suggestions for the flower display we were doing on the staircase they we didn’t pay for. When it came to our wedding the flowers were spectacular! They used fresh cut flowers and everything turned out exactly how we planned with them.
