Matt DJed our wedding in mid-May, and we couldn't be happier - I barely left the dance floor on my own wedding night! Matt kept it fun and professional, helping us mic the ceremony and DJing our dance party after dinner. He was communicative and knowledgeable, humoring us with multiple calls and offering us excellent guidance before the wedding. Matt hands down made our wedding night one to remember! From our first meeting together, my husband and I knew he was the perfect match for our needs. Matt was extremely professional throughout the whole process and was always easy to get in contact with. His set up looked great and the uplighting he did in our reception really set the vibe for the night. Between the ceremony, cocktail hour, first dances and reception, everything went seamlessly. He truly cares so much about what he does and wants to make it the perfect night for his couples. Matt and I were able to have a quick chat before reception began about the vibe of the music for the night and he was extremely receptive to what I had to say and he NAILED it! Matt was incredible to work with from start to finish. Not only does he know how to read the room/keep the dance floor moving, he was a pleasure to work with. Matt was everything (and more) that we were looking for in a DJ on our wedding day, we could not be happier with how it all turned out! From the preparation form which asked all the right questions to our pre-wedding meeting where Matt was so helpful in helping us decide how we wanted the flow of the reception to go, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Matt was excellent from start to finish during the entire process for my wife and I. He was available during all the planning and was a great voice of reason bringing up things to keep in mind on the wedding day. He played our music selection perfectly and tied in other songs that fit seamlessly. Matt also was our emcee for the evening along with taking care of the ceremony music. Anything we needed he was able to make it happen, it was amazing to have such a steady figure during all the other stuff that goes on during the “day of”.

Matt was so easy to work with. My maid of honor sang and played guitar to our first dance & Matt took care of all the logistics and made sure everything went perfectly. His entire set up is top of the line, he's an awesome communicator, and just a really cool guy. I would highly recommend Matt for your wedding day!

Matt was recommended to us from a friend who attended a wedding that he had DJ’d at because they told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to because of him. I was so excited to have Matt on our special day! He was so easy to work with and had such a good personality and was extremely down to earth. He made the wedding planning that much more fun and relaxing. He answered questions honestly and gave us his opinions and it really helped us along the way. When it came time for the wedding, he hit the nail on the head and made the reception one that we’ll never forget. My wife and I couldn’t recommend Matt enough to anyone looking for a wedding DJ. Not only did we see him in action at a prior wedding where he made an incredible impression on us, but he’s also a good friend, so it was an easy choice to have Matt be a part of our special day. Before the big day, he was always communicating and was a true professional. With his genuine personality, he made us feel at ease during our wedding planning. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made because once the music started, all our guests (from 4 years old to 80) met up on the dance floor and had an amazing time. Matt had a great sense of reading the room, and played music that he knew would not only get people out of their comfort zone and dance, but also brought us down memory lane with some classics.

*COVID BRIDE ALERT* Let’s talk Matt, all things Matt! I was engaged September 2019. We met with Matt in October of that year and booked him immediately. He was knowledgeable and confident. He made comments like “I make sure that my music matches the guests and the couple” I cannot tell you how refreshing this was! I felt at ease and I knew immediately he would take care of us. Little did I know, just how much he would take care of us. A few months later COVID hit, we knew that our original date wouldn’t work. On top of that, a little quarantine baby made his appearance. So, we knew things had to change but both my fiancé and I knew we still wanted Matt no matter what! Fast forward one year later we changed the date to November 28th 2021. Matt was so cool and understanding, he made sure he was available for us on that date. We paid him and then, DELTA hit. Again, my fiancé and I had a decision to make. Our large indoor winter wedding wouldn’t be possible. With panic, frustration and sadness we canceled our rescheduled wedding. When we did this Matt immediately offered a refund. Through all the changes, he was not only accommodating, but understanding and willing to do just about anything for us. THEN came September 9th 2021 and my fiancé and I decided to plan a small outside bash on top of a rooftop in Portland Maine. I immediately called Matt and asked him if he could be there for us on this extremely last-minute/short notice decision. *side note* Matt just became a new dad and the weekend we picked was his last weekend on leave with his wife and new baby. He said “give me a day to look it over and I will get right back to you” The next day came and he said YES!!!!! He’s a professional but also kind and compassionate. Ok, ok…enough about his amazing character, lets get to his DJ skills!!! The wedding day finally came 10/11/21. He was there ahead of schedule, he was organized and he was AMAZING! People couldn’t stop talking about the music. Towards the end of the night, the sky was glowing pink on the roof top and he went from a slow sunset dance right into dancing for the last hour. The vibe was perfect all night, but especially now. He lived up what he said during our first meeting. He worked off the songs we gave him but otherwise it was pure intuition and experience, and he was spot on. Not only did we get one of the most amazing and talented DJ’s in New England but we made a lifelong friend. Do your wedding day a favor and choose Bloom 603 to make that day everything you’ve ever dreamed it to be.

I would highly recommend Bloom 603. We gave him a playlist and details a few weeks before. He did a fantastic job on making sure everything was correct that we wanted before the big day, and even provided ideas to get people dancing all night (which turned out to be fantastic). We had a special request for our introductions, which would have been tricky to pull off. But he went above and beyond and was perfect. It exceeded every expectation we had and it was the headlight of the wedding. He did a fantastic job by getting everyone on the dance floor throughout the night! There were fantastic transitions between songs and accommodations for special requests (we used glow sticks to a certain song). He was also very good at accommodating requests from the guests, which pleased our older guests. Overall, I would highly recommend Bloom 603 for any event since he personally tailors the wedding music to the bride and groom and keeps the party pumping all night long.

100% stars! My husband & I got married at Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson Connecticut on 7/31/21. We are still on cloud 9 from the AMAZING experience Matt (owner) gave us on our favorite day EVER! We cant say ENOUGH about Matt’s professionalism, passion, care and true expertise of the vibes and overall feel the music at a wedding should have. He went above and beyond to take care of my husband and I and walked us through every step along the way. We felt so supported and heard! He spent hours making sure everything was perfect and truly exceeded our expectations. Matt dedicated so much time to asking questions, confirming, and sharing his advice on what songs are the best to play at a wedding and why. We felt so secure knowing he knew what songs were the best to play and we trusted his opinions so much. He is the best and we felt so confident leaving everything to him. When we started this journey, we said the top 3 most important aspects of our wedding will be the music/DJ, the food and the experience, and needless to say the music aspect of our event was a 20/10! He met with us to go over our vision, needs, asks and did everything in his power to make it all happen. He truly takes what he does seriously and his passion shines through! We had all the confidence in the world Matt was going to blow the vibes, music and atmosphere out of the water and he DELIVERED! The forms, resources and organization throughout the planning process was so easy and smooth and being a bride, it was so comforting to have a vendor that was so strong and reliable-a vendor relationship we cherished! The timing of our songs, the sound level, the mixes and dance floor songs were better than we could have ever chosen ourselves and the dance floor was packed from start to finish! He heard our needs and wants (ex: checking the sound level during dinner wasn't too high,) and made our asks a priority. One of our guests came up to us at the end of the night and said “this was the best music during cocktail hour, dinner and dancing that he has ever heard at a wedding!” What an amazing thing to hear and we immediately shared this with Matt. He was living his best life behind his amazing DJ booth and that made us so happy! It was so nice he provided the dance floor lights! When we were on the dance floor, I thought to myself “I am having the absolute best time, and it’s MY wedding!” We knew from day 1 he was the best of the best and RUN don’t walk to hire him for your wedding or any special occasion! His passion, music library and experience of how music at a wedding should be, the time you play them and the songs that have the best reactions and are recognizable for all ages was perfect! We were raving about Matt throughout the entire planning process and kept telling everyone “He is the best and we are so excited for you to meet/hear him!” He puts so much into his music, relationships with the bride and groom and listens/adapts to all your needs and wants! He was someone we felt so comfortable working with and could go to if we needed anything. We were so lucky Matt was a part of our favorite day in the world and the words “Thank you” don’t even hold weight to the gratitude, appreciation, & overall indebtedness we have for him! Music at a wedding sets the entire stage for the evening and he completely knocked it out of the park! THANK YOU SO MUCH MATT! We will be recommending him to everyone and more for future weddings/special events to come! You wont regret it!

Matt once again went above and beyond for us! We had Matt DJ a small 2020 COVID wedding for us and had him again this year for a full sized celebration. He showed he can handle an intimate barn reception and also help throw a great backyard party! Throughout the night Matt had a perfect plan to get a dance party started and once it was time, he had everyone dancing outside in the grass for hours. Thinking about having a third wedding just so we can have Matt DJ again. Couldn't recommend him enough!

Matt was such an awesome DJ to work with. We booked him pre-covid and through all of the postponements, ups and downs he was our rock. He kept in touch with us throughout the year and a half wait leading up to our big day. He handled our day with professionalism and ease. During dinner time at our reception, one of our family members suffered a seizure (she is okay) but I can confidently say, if it wasn’t for Matt’s guidance through “what to do” when we weren’t sure whether to carry on or call it a night I don’t think we would have known what to do. When we got word that she would be okay, we had a quick meeting with Matt and our venues wedding coordinator. The coordinator became quite pushy about just “jumping back into it like nothing happened” pushing me to jump into the garter toss (something I told Matt I wasn’t a huge fan of to begin with) . Matt sensed my husband and I were uncomfortable and obviously concerned, he pulled us aside and guided us through how to handle it, encouraged us to make a speech reassuring our guests and only doing what WE felt comfortable with from that point on. He helped us to recover from what could have been a real reception downer. After our speeches he pushed right into all of the right music to get our guests out on the dance floor and he didn’t disappoint. He played all the right songs, went off the vibe of our crowd and seriously made our night absolutely perfect in every single way we could have dreamed. Matt’s attention to detail, and his ability to listen to what my husband and I wanted for our “vibe” and his ability to read the room was absolutely bar none. We would HIGHLY recommend Matt, he was by far one of the best vendors we hired and we were so lucky to have him be a part of our day! Thank you Matt 🙏🏻

Great all around. Matt was fantastic and was the perfect choice for our wedding. He was so easy to work with, communicative, and flexible through some of our changing details over the last year. He kept the music rolling at a great pace and was able to engage the crowd as the evening went on. Folks were dancing when they needed to be and the event flowed perfectly. We talked to a number of DJs and no one made us comfortable like Matt. Would highly recommend Bloom. Lighting, music, set up, ease to work with. All top end. On top of that, Matt loves what he does and that's clear.

Matt was very kind, knowledgeable, and painted a great picture of our day during our consults with him on the phone. Our ceremony music was perfect, exactly how we imagined. The only thing that went wrong was our first dance song file wasn’t working and had to be put off to later in the night, making our entrance to the reception a little awk haha. All things aside, everything else went smoothly especially for one of the first weddings after the pandemic! We all had fun going with the flow and we were just so happy all our vendors were flexible and with us for our special day. Matt brought the party even to our downsized 35 person wedding! I’ll start by saying overall I couldn’t recommend Matt more as not only a DJ but as a thoughtful, understanding and extremely professional person to work with. Unfortunately our wedding was impacted by COVID (like so many others), and while we didn’t get the chance to have him DJ our wedding in the end, working with him from the beginning and onwards was such a pleasure. From the start Matt offered to have a call with me to figure out if we clicked and were on the same page etc. He was super friendly, so easy to talk to, and open to creating whatever kind of vibe was most important to us on our day. He was always extremely responsive from that point on. I never felt pressured to choose his services, he genuinely wanted us to do whatever was best for us – but in the end after speaking with many DJs it wasn’t even a question that we would pick anyone else. When we ended up having to cancel our wedding and had extreme anxiety on what would happen with our various vendors, Matt responded immediately to us with compassion, care and full understanding. He didn’t hesitate to give us our deposit back and it truly meant the world. We did not have the same experience with all of our vendors at all and it just showed even more what an upstanding guy Matt is. Matt is fun, passionate about music, and super flexible and awesome to work with. I couldn’t encourage you more to pick him for your special event! Thanks again for everything Matt!!!

Bloom Weddings and Events is a must have at your wedding. We looked through multiple DJ’s on wedding wire and the knot but no other DJ compared to Matt. He was always available to answer any questions and make all of our small details come true! His playlists and personality were awesome and we couldn’t have picked a better DJ for our wedding. We originally booked our 2020 wedding with Matt at Bloom 603 and were so excited to have him DJ our wedding. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding and Matt wasn't available. He was so helpful in finding us a DJ that would be available for our date, who was experienced and in our price range. Although Matt wasn't able to DJ our wedding, I know he would have done a great job! He was easy to communicate with and helpful along the way.

When looking for a DJ for our wedding, I knew Matt was the one we wanted from the start. Your wedding DJ creates the mood for your big day, get’s all the dancing happening, which creates memories you really can’t put a price on. Our wedding took place in Merritt Island, FL , which he graciously agreed to travel to from NH, and handle renting equipment. From announcing the wedding party, to keeping our schedule on track, and dealing with the many many requests he received from guests… Matt was absolutely amazing! The morning of the wedding when he was there to set up early, our tent for 250 people had actually blown over with the tables, chairs and a lot of décor. The wedding was waterfront so the winds had taken over and in many cases would have caused some vendors to go crazy, but Matt handled it professionally and preformed seamlessly. We had arranged some song requests before hand that our parents wanted, and he had me separate playlists by time for example having family friendly songs and songs for younger people as the night went on! He did an incredible job and I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you so much Matt, I am so grateful for you making my wedding day an amazing celebration filled with music that truly embraced Will & I’s relationship!

Matt DJ’d at my husband and I’s wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hire him as our entertainment for the most special night of out lives. I ( the groom) couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I asked Matt to DJ my wedding, a fairly complex set up where he needed to move or set up in multiple locations to entertain 200 guests during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception (all separate locations). I provided a short list of songs I like for each portion of the wedding and Matt was on point with his playlists. He showed his experience in recommending a change in wedding announcements on the fly to match the energy of the attendees. Matt was very direct before the event, collecting contact and venue information so that he could work behind the scenes for organizing the event. He constantly checked in on us to answer questions and to ease the stress we would have had about logistics. I recommend Bloom Weddings for any size wedding with all degrees of logistical complexity, Matt left no doubt that he would figure out the challenges of the venue, adapt the flow of music to the energy at the venue, and provide the best possible experience for the wedding party as well as attendees!

Matt is an outstanding DJ! He took the time to meet with us before the event (TWICE!), iron out any details, he took notes, observed our personalities, and even went beyond and reviewed our personal playlist to really get our personalities. From day 1 Matts professionalism, expertise and genuine passion for weddings was apparent. We were new to the process and the amount of work needed for a wedding. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with planning and preparing all the details needs to seamlessly pull an event like that off. When the ceremony was about to start we were hit with severe thunderstorms and the venue lost power. Matts speaker setup could be powered by battery and that literally saved the ceremony.   Matt worked flawlessly with the venue, vendors and thanks to him everything went great!

Matt was the MVP of our wedding reception. I've gotten so many inquiries about the playlist from guests raving about the music. I'm pretty indecisive and let Matt really decide what he wanted to play. He asked for a list of "do not play" songs which ended up being more important I think. You can trust him and give him free reign with peace of mind he will have everyone on the dance floor at your wedding.

Matt was our first choice and the best choice. Advancing details for our wedding was extremely easy and aleviated a lot of stress. I've known Matt for almost 10 years, so I thought I knew what to expect for the reception, but I was honestly surprised by how he kept the dance floor full for the entire evening. On top of that, he was a great host for the entire wedding and brought in a top notch sound system. Our guests had a great time and were also extremely complementary.

Matt was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was a great communicator leading up to the wedding as well as throughout the reception. With so much going on we left a lot of the decision making on music until the last minute and he didn’t hassle us or stress us out any more than needed. He just rolled with the punches and filled in any of gaps we missed and pulled off a great wedding. Of all the things we had to worry about leading up to the wedding, the music and our DJ was the least of them. We left a lot of the song choices up to him and the dance floor was packed for the majority of the night. He worked in all of the specific songs we did request and even accommodated a few last minute requests. I have been to a few weddings where it seems like the DJ ends up speaking more than some of the family members but that was not the case with Matt. He managed to keep the scheduled timeline organized and moving along without intruding too much or inserting himself into the reception. He is professional enough for a formal wedding but also relaxed enough for a casual wedding. He comes with high recommendations from us.

Matt gave us great advice that helped make our night go seamlessly. He was very professional, easy to work with and sensitive to our needs. We have already recommended Matt to our friends and would recommend him for anyone!

Matt was first class when it’s comes to wedding DJs. He was reasonably priced, flexible with all of our requests and even had a second set up for our ceremony music, a set up for our officiant and a microphone for family members who did a reading. The ceremony was in a large open field on a farm and everyone commented how awesome the acoustics were for an open field, they could hear everything! Our reception was under a tent with awesome lighting all night long. Matt even met us about a week before the wedding for some beers and to go over the final run through and any song requests. Also Matt went above and beyond for us and worked with my MOH as she sang at the end of her speech and played the music she needed. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long- hit after hit! Highly recommend Matt and you will not regret it!

I was lucky enough to book Dj Matt Keene of Bloom for our Labor Day wedding. From the beginning, Matt was professional, organized, prompt, and easy to communicate with. He walked us through the entire process, guiding us through song choices and playlists for different parts of the day. He went over and beyond - our backyard wedding didn't have an 'official' wedding planner, so things were a bit chaotic. Matt really helped keep things on schedule, and had all ages on the dance floor until the end of the night. If there wasn't a town sound ordinance, I think people would've been dancing until 3 am. Not to mention, he did a custom mash-up for our first dance song. Highly recommend!!

Matt Keene DJed our wedding in Wisconsin in September and we had an extremely great experience with him and highly recommend Bloom Weddings. First off, it was absolutely amazing for him to to travel from New Hampshire all the way to northern Wisconsin just for our wedding! He had to rent his equipment and square away all the logistics that went along with "cross-country DJ equipment rentals" which he made seem like business as usual. Matt was also extremely well-organized and his well-preparedness made this aspect of planning for us incredibly easy. We had a form to fill out that allowed us to make choices for everything from music selection to what kind of lights and introductions we preferred. To top it all off, Matt even allowed me, the groom, to guest spin a couple of tunes, which is kudos to him since my DJ skills are quite non existent. My wife and I absolutely loved the experience Bloom Weddings provided us and he highly, highly recommend them!!

If I could give 6 stars on here then I would! Matt worked a September wedding for us and was the consummate professional. He took our requests for songs, added his own, and had friends and family of all ages on the dance floor throughout the night. I’d highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for ideas for their next wedding or big event.

I cannot say enough good things about Bloom Weddings. We hired them to do our music and Matt was our DJ. From the planning process to the dance floor Matt was so involved and knew exactly what it would take to get everyone dancing! My husband and I live out of state and Matt was on the phone with us and Face timing us as much as we needed to get everything right. The night of the wedding went off without a hitch and the music was on point! Matt had all 175 of our guests on the dance floor until Midnight. What more can you ask of your DJ?

We were so impressed with Matt and happy that we chose him to be our DJ. We had several friends come up to us and tell us ours was the most fun wedding they had been to, and I think a lot of that comes from Matt and the great dance party he helped us create. He was attentive and helpful during the planning process, and was great about listening to our music and timing preferences. He even found a rare version of a song that my husband really wanted for his mother/son dance. We would choose Matt all over again.
