Bloomfield Barn

My husband and I had the privilege of getting married at Bloomfield Barn on December 15th, 2018. We loved the Barn's unique atmosphere, rural setting, and most of all the owner and staff! We planned our wedding in about 6 months, and from the moment I first contacted Jill I felt at ease, cared for, and most of all a part of the family! She and her staff met with myself and my husband to discuss the options we had for our ceremony and reception. Not only did she spend an unlimited amount of time with us to make sure she understood what our vision for the day/evening was, she was wonderful about communication leading up to the event. She helped to provide me with a list of potential vendors, she worked to help us decide our decor and plan for the day, and also helped to make sure we had a plan for our guests before and after the ceremony. There wasn't a single thing that Jill and her staff didn't assist us with! The event was held at night for 65 of our closest friends and family, and everything couldn't have gone smoother! I attribute all of that to Jill and her staff helping to keep things running smoothly so we didn't have manage the details and could just enjoy our guests! Our guests raved about the venue, and some even asked for contact information for their potential wedding! Our wedding and reception were spectacular, and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you to Jill, her husband, and her staff! If you're looking for a one of kind venue with an amazing staff- Bloomfield Barn is the place to go!

The barn is beautiful, but if I could go back, I would choose not to have my wedding there. Almost all of my guests complained about the owner’s attitude. She does not seem to be a people-person and I don’t think the wedding industry is the right one for her to be in.

Jill and her entire team was very helpful throughout the whole process. She answered any of my questions that I had and also had great ideas or suggestions to offer when I needed it. Our day turned out great and the barn was the PERFECT venue!

I’m writing this from a guest perspective of this venue, that may have been shadowed from the bridal party. The venues overall appearance was beautiful and was decorated very exquisitely however there were some major hiccups of the day. During dinner service multiple guests saw a mouse running in the rafters. Right after the first dance; about 30 Minutes into the reception, the DJ had to make an announcement over the PA system that the venue was running low on cups asking guests to hold on to their cups. During the reception, the owner and her crew were mopping up the dance floor to avoid the concrete floors from being stained. During the reception, the owner locked the doors to the only entrance to the bar, leaving patrons locked outside because the air conditioner was leaking out because the door was open. The owner was not hospitable, was very unapproachable, and was more focused on taking care of her building than providing exceptional customer service.

The Bloomfield Barn was seriously the perfect venue! We don't have one negative thing to say. Jill and Mark worked so hard to make the day flawless. The decorations they set up were absolutely gorgeous. Jill is so organized and on top of everything...the day just flowed and was stress free . I LOVED the heated floors, bridal silo, grooms loft, and rustic charm it has. Thanks again Bloomfield Barn for making our wedding day so perfect! 🖤

One of the Best Venues to put on your Event!!! When you pull up to the Bloomfield Barn, you can't believe your eyes! It's beautiful inside and out. The Owners Jill and Mark are great to work with. The Staff can change the room from a Wedding Ceremony to a Reception Hall very quick. You can have your Wedding on out back by the Pond, and there is power out there to run a sound system. Plenty of parking, outlets outside on the Patio Area. You can have Music wherever you like at this Venue.

I had my wedding reception at the barn a couple weeks ago, and I cannot rave about it enough. First of all, the barn is absolutely beautiful, all my guests were in awe. Jill and Mark are extremely helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to make your day perfect. After discussing some ideas and my taste in decor, Jill and another helper decorated the reception better than I could have imagined. They were there for the whole reception to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Jill even helped me when the bustle of my dress broke. Overall, I am so thankful I chose the barn for the wedding reception of my dreams.

My wedding was absolutely perfect, the owners jill and Mark, we're tons of help, I could not have asked for a better wedding. The bloomfield barn is everything I was looking for.

My daughter's wedding at Bloomfield Barn was September 2 2017. The wedding was outdoors by the pond and the weather was great. My son-in-law built a 10 ft Cross for the ceremony. The Cocktail hour was on the outdoor patio with the pews, barrel tables and rustic cocktail tables. It was perfect as the guests enjoyed the seamless entrance into the Barn for the reception. The barn is clean modern yet rustic Perfect for our "vintage chic" theme. The bridal party enjoyed getting ready in the silo room. We had 100 guests with farm tables, round tables & head table also with a dessert bar and lounge area. We also put the dance floor area in the middle. It would also accommodate larger weddings. The "impact" moment was throwing open the barn doors in the loft and beaming wedding couple smiling down on all the love from family and friends! The caterers "Edibles" from TerraHaute were incredible. Guests raved about the food saying the best they have ever had at a wedding. The natural setting of woods & barn make for stunning pictures. The pictures taken at dusk of bride and groom were our favorites! The venue is such that any couple can bring to it their own signature look. It certainly brought our wedding couple their Dream Wedding vision to life! No "cookie cutter look" for this couple. An added bonus was how many compliments the guests gave on venue ,food ,flowers and overall event. I would recommend to others that really want to put their own "touch" to their wedding.

The Bloomfield Barn is an amazing venue. Not only is it a beautiful place to get married, but the owners are helpful and are prepared for anything. On my Son’s wedding day, we were forced to move the ceremony indoors due to weather, Jill and Mark went above and beyond to help get everything set up. They are wonderful people who care about making sure everything is perfect for a Bride and Groom’s wedding day. The venue is outfitted with everything you would need for all types of weather. The loft space for the Groom and the Bridal area are both gorgeous, too. I would gladly recommend this venue because our experience was truly incredible!

I cannot say enough fabulous things about Jill (and Mark!) and the Bloomfield Barn. I promise I will try to keep this short.. The barn itself is flawlessly gorgeous and is the perfect setting for a wedding. Or meetings or really any occasion - makes a great discussion topic too! It's setting is also wonderful because with the lack of surrounding outside "forces" the sunset is always a gorgeous view. But what makes the barn even more amazing and stunning is Jill. This woman puts her heart and soul into this barn and every occasion held within. If other vendors fall through or slack you can count on Jill to step up and go above and beyond. I have a serious lack of vision so I gave Jill a Pinterest board and free reign and in the end it was perfect and suited our style. Her husband Mark is also excellent because I watched him help her with so much and I've seen him build so many wonderful things for the barn and Jills vision. Jill met with me as often as I asked and every time had a smile on her face and was the sweetest. Our wedding was perfect thanks to her. We had a few bumps in the road that day and a few other vendors let us down but Jill kept things moving and everyone smiling. She will also be just as excited about your event as the people attending. She is not one who is in it for the money - she is in this because she loves what she does and loves making others happy and have a perfect day. There's a reason you get Jill and not an assistant. She wants to be there for you. (But Jill you need an assistant or five lol). I cannot imagine anyone saying a bad thing about Jill unless they are the issue themselves.  Some people will never be happy - even when blessed with the perfect setting and amazing hostess. ♡ I think this is long enough even though I could rave all day about Bloomfield Barn and the Mattingly couple! This place is worth every single dime.

The barn is beautiful. However, the owner is really picky. She made inappropriate comments during my whole wedding and reception. She tried making my wedding day about her. She doesn't make you feel very comfortable. She isn't very friendly. All in all beautiful place but not worth the money or hassel.
