Caitlin and her team were unbelievably helpful from start to finish, there was absolutely no need to hire a third party wedding coordinator; everything we needed was right there! Blooming Hill included all food, wedding cake, florals, decorations/tables/chairs/kitchenware, basically everything except for photographer, videographer and music! Highly recommended this venue to anyone considering!

BHF makes the whole process as easy as it can be; from helping you find vendors that they know and trust, to being available to answer any and every question, they really are a dream to work with. They are truly a full service venue! It is hard to describe how beautiful the farm is; the ceremony space is through a path into a clearing – so beautiful and serene; all you can hear are the sounds of nature. Hearing the birds chirping while visiting for the first time sold us on this venue. The barn is SUCH a cool spot for cocktail hour – it is perfectly decorated with wild flowers from around the farm. The reception under the tent looked so amazing (with plenty of space for dancing!). They also have a bonfire with s’mores, and set up custom cornhole boards we brought! I PROMISE you this will be the best food you will ever have at a wedding. The wood-fired pizzas at cocktail hour are unbelievable, the main courses and side dishes are so good, and the bakery Blooming Hill partners with, The Cakery, made us a gorgeous cutting cake our guests were envious of! Also, Blooming Hill offers family-style dinner, a rarity for weddings. Your guests can try all entrees and sides, and all the food was served to our 150 guests within 15 minutes! As beautiful as the farm is, and as incredible as the food and drinks are, the best thing about getting married at Blooming Hill is Kate and her team. Kate could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process of planning a wedding; answering all our questions, communicating with vendors, and most importantly, making sure the actual day goes perfectly. It really is like having a team of wedding planners, and it was so incredible to know that Kate & team were there to make sure the whole day would be seamless. From day 1 we felt we were in good hands. On the day, the team anticipated every guest’s needs; drinks were never further than arm’s reach (I don’t think we saw an empty glass all night!). They also have a golf cart available for guests who may have trouble getting around the farm. We mean it when we say every single detail was thought through and perfectly executed. We have had SO many people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We are still in awe of how our wedding looked exactly how we envisioned. Whatever you see in your head, the team at Blooming Hill will execute it perfectly. From the beautiful location, to the food and drinks, and how every little detail is thought of and accounted for, we cannot say enough great things about this place! o NYC (we live in Brooklyn, as do many of our friends) and accessible enough for out of town family and friends, I stumbled upon Blooming Hill Farm and everything changed. We immediately loved the pictures on their website, and their cost calculator was so helpful and actually ended up being completely accurate. We planned a visit and, though it was a rainy day in April, Caitlin gave us a tour and we were sold. We booked our wedding date at the end of the tour. Over the next year and half, we had the pleasure of planning what our friends and family are now referring to as "the wedding of the century". Taylor was our day-of coordinator and we can't sing her praises enough. She was on top of everything, and it is clear that the whole BHF team knows what they are doing and enjoy working together. Throughout the planning process, she and Caitlin made us feel so prepared and listened to all of our visions and supported our choices wholeheartedly. Their attention to detail and the level of organization made me, admittedly a bit of a control freak, feel so safe and prepared. BHF literally does everything: food (the best food I've ever had at a wedding), drinks, cake/dessert, florals, and all of the things that other vendors charge you an arm and a leg for (silverware, tables, chairs, napkins, etc.) We opted to use their in-house florist and that was absolutely the right decision for us. Neither my wife nor us really know a lot about flowers, but we provided some inspo photos and hoped for the best. The florist completely outdid herself. Our bridal bouquets were exactly what we wanted, so much so that we are in the process of pressing and drying some of the flowers to keep forever. Dessert was another hit. We opted to use BHF's connection with The Cakery to provide cupcakes and cannolis for our dessert table, and everything was delicious. The Cakery also made our wedding cake (it is so beautiful) but we were having too much fun at the reception to cut the cake. We have no doubt that it will be delicious when we finally get around to trying it. The venue itself is exactly what we wanted; a naturally beautiful outdoor setting with indoor spaces to hang out in when necessary. The ceremony site is a mystical little clearing with a gorgeous arbor that the venue provides (but only if you want it!) nestled among the trees and bushes. It was just perfect. The tent for the reception was set up so perfectly for a group of 135 guests and a 9-piece live band. The barn was where we did our first look and the photos speak for themselves: truly breath taking and exactly the right mix of rustic and cozy. There are so many cute little corners on the property which made the entire day feel beautifully surreal. The area around the venue is perfect for weddings; many hotels that regularly work with BHF weddings to provide room blocks, awesome breweries for welcome parties, and lots of activities for out of town guests to do before/after the big day. All of these things can be found on BHF's comprehensive list of suggested vendors, hotels, and activities. If you want to get married in a gorgeous location with unbelievably good food and incredible event staff, you have to pick Blooming Hill Farm. You will not be disappointed!

e fall as I just got married there last weekend and the foliage was unreal!! My guests couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. From the moment you tour it, it’s incredible. The staff treats you with the utmost care and kindness. We toured with Kate who is the kindest, funniest and most helpful person. She also became like our best friend for the last year as BHF provides you a “coordinator” who has planning phone calls with you at 6 months, 3 months and 1 month. NO EXTRA CHARGE to hire a coordinator. It’s amazing. She easily sold us on the venue, as if the grounds weren’t beautiful enough. The whole farm is gorgeous with lush trees, flower fields, hanging lights and plants. Getting married there is an experience because you move around the venue for each part. The ceremony site is pure magic, looking out on to a gorgeous field. The cocktail hour is in a “barn” but we called It a greenhouse because it’s full of hanging plants. It was everyone’s favorite spot!! The pictures in there are stunning. It’s so unique and needs no extra decor. Then you move to the permanent tent with lights strung all around for the reception. The decor included saved me so much time and money that I barely needed to do anything for decor. They provide chalkboards and can make any signs you want! They offer you candles, linens of various colors, a card box, seating chart signs, table numbers and so much more. In general, this venue is so gorgeous that you don’t need much added at all. There is an in-house florist who you can choose to use, which we did and were so relieved to have one less decision to make but also she did an great job with the bouquets and tables. The whole wedding felt very farm-to-table. Don’t even get me started on the food. It’s not wedding food. It’s straight from their talented chefs in the on-site restaurant. Every single guest RAVED about the pizzas from cocktail hour and the chicken at dinner - has anyone ever complimented chicken at a wedding?! We did family style and everyone loved all of it. Every dish from them is out of this world. The staff is so attentive to dietary restrictions, making accommodations when needed and being sure everyone is set when the food is served. Safe to say the wedding tasting was one of our favorite memories, trying all the food and wine which you get to pick too! The drinks were great (including house-made apple cider!) and served in mason jars, so adorable. They even sent us home with extra food after our wedding so we could enjoy it again. BHF truly orchestrates the perfect day so you can enjoy yourselves. Kate was with us every step of the way and made the planning process so organized and manageable (a document made by them). BFH thinks of the little things. For example, they set up the cutest private moment for us in the ceremony site after we said our vows so we could take it all in and eat the cocktail hour food before joining everyone. At the end of the night, there’s a bonfire with s’mores. It’s the most magical experience. I could go on and on! Also price wise - for everything that is offered to you to use, the incredible food, the support you’re given and the gorgeous surroundings, you can’t beat it. This was hands down the most affordable and stunning wedding venue we came across in the Hudson Valley.

They have truly thought through all the details (like a campfire and s’mores!) and have curated a magical setting for weddings. Our guests were so impressed with such a unique location that reflects the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. Next, the food is delicious! This is not your typical wedding food. Their chef creates amazing menus inspired by what is growing in season right from the farm, with pretty much everything else sourced locally. Our guests were raving about how good the food was from cocktail hour through dinner, with pizza at the cocktail hour as a huge hit. We chose family style for dinner, and the food came out so quickly, all at the same time, and still hot! The bar selections are refined and high quality yet familiar. The staff is attentive, organized and just incredible to work with. Kate was our coordinator and having her every step of the way was phenomenal. She is down to earth, very cool, and personable while also very organized, professional, and proactive. She went above and beyond to make our night special. In addition, the rest of the staff and bartenders were also always super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The experience of our guests was incredibly important to us, and we can confirm our wedding day was a seamless guest experience from the moment they arrived to the end of the night. Blooming Hill thinks of everything. We were blown away by the attention to detail, anticipation of needs, creative problem solving, and intentionality from Kate and her team. While we didn’t have a traditional wedding planner, it almost felt like we did with all the communication we got to have with Kate in the year leading up to our wedding. Overall, we feel that we got way more than our money’s worth by having our wedding at Blooming Hill. The value of what’s included in the venue fee (candles, linens, champagne toast, s’mores, other decor, etc.) saved us a lot of money while still having everything we wanted. We truly cannot recommend Blooming Hill Farm enough and we can’t wait to return for brunch!

us a photographer after our original photographer had a medical emergency literally 2 hours before the wedding and couldn’t make it. They truly saved our day and we are beyond grateful. Throughout the planning process and day-of, we worked with BHF’s day-of-coordinator, Taylor, who was AMAZING, so kind, and so organized. Taylor and BHF have thought of EVERYTHING– every detail was accounted for, thoughtful, and tailored to us as individuals, with backup plans for rain, etc. It really was like having a wedding planner. They also set up all our extra decor for us, facilitated every little event, and made everything so easy for us. Food and drinks were also SO delicious–so many guests raved about the food and drinks afterwards, especially how it wasn’t “typical” wedding food. We got a blueberry sponge lemon curd cake through BHF’s preferred vendor The Cakery, and it was so tasty and so pretty– we also had a few guests say it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had. We used Nadine from BHF for flowers and she really brought our vision to life based on just the few pictures we sent over. The table settings and aisle flowers especially were beyond gorgeous and we were genuinely shocked seeing it all together. Finally, the ambience of everything was just so gorgeous. We heard from so many people that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and while I wish we could take credit, it was almost entirely Blooming Hill Farm and their team. Thank you all so much for the most memorable night!

Planning a wedding is stressful, but Kate made it as a stress free and organized as possible. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the entire wedding was and that they have never been to a venue so unique. BHF not only provides amazing food and service, but also a one of a kind experience for everyone attending! We wish we could relive the day over and over again. If you decide to have your wedding at BHF, I also highly recommend hiring Nadine for all your flower needs. She completely executed our vision with very minimal guidance. She is truly an artist when it comes to florals! I can't say enough positive things about BHF and thank you so much to the entire staff for making our day so perfect!

When the weather was looking questionable for our wedding day, Caitlin made us feel so at ease by walking through every single step and detail of our inclement weather plan (which in the end, we ended up not having to use! 😅). The weather is definitely a gamble you willingly take with an outdoor venue, but knowing from day one that we would have a plan B gave us a huge amount of reassurance. The natural beauty of the farm is already enough to create an aesthetically beautiful event. But it was Nadine, the farm's florist, who took it to another level by creating the most magical, elegant arrangements for us, and working with us to ensure that every decor detail we envisioned was brought to life. Finally, we cannot rave enough about the food at Blooming Hill. It is beyond incredible, and truly the BEST food we have ever had at a wedding (call us biased, but many of our guests have said the same)! We did family style which allowed our guests to sample everything, and everyone loved it. The drinks were incredible as well - BHF offers an amazing selection of wines and local beer, and our guests are still talking about the signature cocktails. All in all, we're big fans of Blooming Hill. Since we can't have our wedding 100 more times, I guess we'll just have to keep coming back to eat at the restaurant! ;)

We loved that you could utilize different areas of the farm for the evening, from the whimsical ceremony spot to the barn for cocktail hour. Plus, it made for beautiful pictures. The staff at the farm was also amazing - we worked with Caitlin from the beginning, who helped us stay organized, made sure we made all the decisions we needed to on time and fully take charge of the day-of logistics so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Caitlin and all other stuff were so helpful and sweet day-of, even our guests noticed and commented how fun/nice the staff were. If you're looking for a charming, outdoor space with amazing food (and with a built-in planner), would 100% recommend BHF.
