ng was executed perfectly exactly as they (bride & groom) wanted. Karen, Awilda and their team was top notch! Excellent and prompt communication from start to finish. The ceremony area was beautiful with the grounds perfectly manicured. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with the timing of everything spot on. We rented the chiavarri chairs which really brought the room all together and elegant. The view from the room looking out to the course was so beautiful. The extra large veranda was a great area for our guests. Also, having the whole venue for ourselves was a big plus. We rented the old fashioned hot dog cart for our late night snacks which was a big hit ! Their pricing was very competitive and had a great package. We chose The Baking Institute cake which came in the package and it was the most delicious cake we’ve ever had! They decorated it exactly as the picture they were supplied. If we have one complaint it would only be that the day ended too soon. The newlyweds had such an incredible day!

She answered any and all of our questions - from questions about the menu all the way down to questions about the length and height of the tables for our runners! Both Karen and Melissa helped keep our stress levels down throughout the entire planning process and made the venue look exactly how we envisioned it for our big day. Many of our guests told us how good the food was, which we agree with! We tried many things during our tasting and everything was delicious. I was on a budget and tried to piece together some decorations, asking our wedding planner, Awilda, to surprise me. She did an amazing job of blending everything together. I love it there and everyone told me how beautiful it was!! Thank you everyone at BGC!!!!

the first meeting, I knew Karen and Awilda were the people for the job. They were always quick to reply and I knew at all times they had everything covered without me having to double check. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food and service at Bloomingdale. They absolutely loved and took advantage of the veranda all night. If I had to do it over again I would 100% every time go back to Bloomingdale. We had our ceremony there as well and it was very accessible for my mil. There was an elevator down to the ground floor and they even drove her to her seat in a cart. The bar was set high and the staff at Bloomingdale cleared it by leaps and bounds.

We live out of state so choosing a venue from afar can be really hard, they were super accommodating and were able to squeeze us in when we were in town for meetings and seeing the space. We worked closely with Melissa as we prepped for the wedding and we can't give enough thanks to her (she was amazing!). The food was also amazing as they have their own catering right in house and it made planning that much easier. If we could we would relive that day again!

Bloomingdale for many years and she had great advice for us. Awilda was a gem, answering any email I had within minutes. I would send an email so I wouldn't forget, not expecting her to answer right away, but she would come back almost immediately with a response. All night long and even after, guests told us how incredible the food was. We had filet mignon as one of the options and we had so many people tell us it was the best steak they had ever had at a wedding! To us, food was very important and we wanted our guests to enjoy their meal. They definitely did! If food is important to you as a couple, make sure to consider Bloomingdale Golf Club. We would also like to compliment how professional and on top of things the staff were. No matter what our guests threw their way, they were ready and willing to help and we could not be more grateful. They also offer a private wedding party suite to stash away anything important, plus it has a large enough bathroom stall that just about any bridal gown will fit into. The banquet room has tall vaulted ceilings and large windows that provide a gorgeous view of the golf course. The room is also big enough to comfortably fit up to 200 guests, without encroaching on the dance floor. Their outdoor wrap-around veranda is amazing. The staff was so accommodating in our requests to set up several outdoor activities on the veranda which ended up being were so many guests found themselves throughout the evening. To this day, several of our guests still rave about how much they loved that veranda! Speaking of the staff, this was our main reason for choosing BCG and Catering with Excellence. During our initial meeting with Karen, she spoke so fondly of the kitchen and event crew, many of whom have been working with them for 10+ years. As fellow service industry members, we appreciated how she valued her team and kept them on through the struggles of the pandemic. That experience shone through as they orchestrated our wedding to perfection. Melissa was our primary contact and she was a delight to work with leading up to the big day. She was organized and insightful while never being pushy in presenting us with our options. She provided us with several logistics sheets that ensured we thought through all the necessary details and could communicate our decisions with the team. She was so so accommodating in accepting all of our personalized décor items + notes ahead of time. The staff absolutely nailed the set up, much to this overthinking bride's relief. The food was great! They poured awesome drinks! We had an absolute blast and we can't thank Karen, Melissa, and the entire staff enough for their role in making this such a memorable day.

All of our guests truly said that the food (the steaks were huge and cooked to perfection!) was absolutely incredible and the best meal they've had at a wedding by far and I absolutely agree! The overall set up of the venue and ceremony space was immaculate - none of our vendors had a single issue setting up and our guests loved the outdoor space during the reception. The pictures on the course turned out BEAUTIFUL and we loved that a member of the BGC team drove our bridal party and us around the golf course for pictures. The BGC team did all the set up and tear down of all of our décor and treated the items with great care. It was very evident that they truly cared about making our wedding day special and I KNOW they will do the same for you! I was still reeling with dealing with our last venue so this brought so much relief. Their tasting was superb to figuring out the setup of the room and our theme, I can't even begin to describe how spectacular they were. The day of our wedding was perfect! From the decorations to communicating with our vendors, BGC knew exactly what to do. I had this vision of what I wanted my wedding day to be and they NAILED IT. NAILED IT! Oh, btw, our guests could not stop raving about the food especially their steak. I still replay the day over and over again. Karen, Melissa, and Awilda, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of this anxious bride. I was so worried that things wouldn't go as planned but, WOW, the day was exactly what I pictured and so much more. If I had to rate you on a scale of 1-10, I'd give this team and venue 1 million stars. It really was a day to remember and I am always going to remember your amazing hospitality and care. You all really treated us like family! Thank you for everything!

Karen’s response to my Knot email was prompt and we were able to meet her that week. After meeting Karen in person it was an easy decision to choose Bloomingdale for our wedding. She did so much research to make the venue so appealing and they delivered. She was willing to help us in any way possible to make our day special for us. Melissa also made everything flawless as well. I loved working with both of them the entire process. The food here is delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the outdoor veranda was perfect, and the staff was amazing. Of course there were some hiccups during the day, which happen. So I’d recommend getting yourself a day of wedding coordinator to help navigate life so you don’t have to as the bride or groom (or the DJ! Who was amazing for jumping in for us when he saw we were stressed!)…but none of that was Bloomingdale’s fault. They were super supportive during the whole process. Aside from that I truly have to say, if you decide on this venue, you won’t be disappointed. All of our guests loved the experience! All the reviews we read before booking were honest and I’m so glad we chose Bloomingdale for our wedding. Other venues didn’t have the personal feel that Karen had during our initial visit. The team here truly made this an experience we will never forget. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy as a guest in the future!

Karen's commitment to quality shines through at every stage, and we knew we would be working with her after our very first meeting. It had snowed 8 inches the night before, and her husband plowed the entire parking lot an hour early just for our meeting. They customized the entire experience based on our unique needs and outside vendors, and worked with us to create a few new menu items that their kitchen absolutely nailed! Even weeks afterward, our friends still talk about how great the food was - try the asiago chicken and pasta! Overall, I would recommend the BGC to anyone looking to have a fantastic wedding at any price point. We had gotten priced out of another venue, but Karen was more than willing to work with our budget and ended up giving us an absolutely flawless reception.

Fast forward to May 2022, our wedding day went off without any issues. We left them to set up the decorating fully in their hands and the venue was BEAUTIFUL. The food was amazing! We did the duet filet/chicken marsala and everyone said how perfect their food was cooked and tasted! We even had a guest request to have their steak cooked more once they get it (like it well done) and BGC did it for them without hesitation! The guest loved the option to be outside and have plenty of space to be inside. And of course, the drinks where poured to perfection! Would recommend anyone to get married here, you won't regret trucking BGC on your special day!

We worked with Karen for over 18 months since we postponed one year due to covid, and she was always very responsive, easy to work with, cheerful, and focused on our happiness. From the very first meeting with Karen we had a good feeling about HER. She has a great positive energy and both my wife and I felt like she genuinely cared about us, making our wedding day special, and she delivered the entire way! She is genuinely kind and truly wanted to make our day special. Thank you Karen, for everything!! It was a true pleasure working with you! The venue space is roomy and flexible and over 180 degrees of the main reception room has huge windows to showcase panoramic views of the beautiful golf course. We had a Fall wedding and it was near perfect weather. Many great photo locations. The first time we visited BGC was back in Jan/Feb 2019 when we were interviewing venues for our reception. Karen was showing us around and we entered the main reception hall and it was snowing. Again, this room has 180 degree views, essentially a 200 foot long wall of glass overlooking the golf course. It was dark outside but I could see clearly the biggest snowflakes falling steadily through the two story tall panoramic windows in the center of the main room. As we stood together and watched the falling snow, the scene was immersive and beautiful because of all the windows, it is hard to describe the feeling but it felt truly special and I was grateful. In that moment, I knew we had found our venue. I would highly recommend BGC to host your special day. The team was so accommodating with vendors and decorations, and everyone was so kind and happy to help. Go see the venue and talk with Karen or Lisa, you will be glad you did. When we had to postpone our wedding at the start of 2020 because of the pandemic, they were so understanding. They have answered my million questions over the past two years all while doing so with a smile because they truly cared about making our wedding day special. I really want to talk about how wonderful they were to us during the pandemic. Our original wedding date was in March 2020, and less than a week before our day, we had to cancel due to COVID restrictions. As I was freaking out about what to do and how to handle this, one of my biggest worries was how our venue would work with us. I still remember my phone call with Karen and how she was and assured me that one way or another we would figure this out. We decided to book a new date later in the year thinking everything would be back to normal by then. Well, as we all know, things did not go back to normal and we had to cancel again. My husband and I decided to get married with just our parents and grandparents in attendance. Since we could not have a big reception, I was hoping to celebrate with a private dinner somewhere but given the times, that was hard to navigate. I never thought BGC would let us go from a 200+ reception to a 12 person reception, but I contacted them to see what they thought. They were more than willing to accommodate this and worked with us to make our day as special as possible. Although not what we had initially planned, we had an amazing wedding reception at BGC and the perfect wedding day. As we went through all the postponing, rescheduling, canceling, etc. so many people asked me, "what about the venue, how have they been" and my response was always, "they have been amazing." With so much going on it was such a relief to have a venue that was so understanding and kind to work with. The space is beautiful and the team really goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. I don't think we ever heard the word no from them, they were always willing to accommodate everything we asked. When we first booked, we had already met with other venues and none of them made us feel the way Karen and the BGC staff did, from day one they treated us like their friends and seemed as excited as we were for our wedding. I am grateful to have had them as our venue, I truly do not think we would have had the wedding we did without their commitment to making our day as special as possible.

Getting married on the golf hole was great. The night continued inside for the reception and then we brought the dancing outside. Our DJ has SO much fun with us outside and the edison lights outside were breathtaking! I would do it all over again in a heart beat! Karen and Lisa never made me feel silly for the thousands of questions I asked. They set everything up perfectly and took down in such an organized fashion. Book this venue...NOW!
