We worked with Rachel for our wedding in October of 2023 and she is absolutely amazing! She understood what we were looking for from our very first consultation and brought some amazing floral options to the table that we didn't even know to ask for (rust copper beach boughs in a fall wedding arrangement? Yes please!). She's extremely knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and created incredible bouquet and arch arrangement options that fit our modest budget. I didn't think I would care too much about my flowers at the beginning of my wedding planning process, but Rachel's work made them one of my absolute favorite parts of my day. Absolutely loved working with Rachel for my August 2024 wedding! She was communicative, professional, and understood exactly what I wanted. She even took the time to meet with me in person and show me different flowers. We received beautiful bouquets, aisle arrangements and a ceremony arch created by Rachel and the team. They were simply stunning and really made our wedding so beautiful!

Blooms was amazing to work with for our wedding flowers! Rachel was so responsive, knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what I needed. I showed her inspiration pictures and she created exactly what I was imagining for our bouquets. Our centerpiece arrangements and sweetheart table arrangement were perfect. Overall, the florals we got for the wedding were beautiful and most importantly, I loved how my bridal bouquet and centerpieces came out. The reason for 3 stars is that we had discussed numerous times over the phone, over email and even included in the contract that the bridesmaid bouquets would have a cascade style. After paying thousands of dollars for florals you can imagine my disappointment on the morning of the wedding when they showed up with small bridesmaids bouquets that had no cascade to them. As soon as I said something Rachel acknowledged that she simply forgot and said she could try to adjust the bouquets but we both soon realized that there wasn’t enough time to redo all of these bouquets before we were due for photos. She tried adjusting one bouquet by pulling some vines out but it made it just look awkward and didn’t match with the other 6 bouquets. In the end, she admitted it was her mistake but made no attempt to offer any discount or minimal refund on the amount paid for the bouquets, even though the design concept was in the contract. We ended up paying full price without getting what we asked for. Making the mistake is one thing (we’re human, mistakes happen!) but not offering any compensation for it was disappointing. Overall, I would say they do a great job at general arrangements as the flowers themselves and colors were beautiful. However, if you are looking for anything unique or outside of the ordinary designs you should consider looking elsewhere.

Thank you to Rachel and her team for being such an integral part in making my wedding vision come to life. I was VERY particular about my flowers and made a lot of changes throughout the process. Rachel was always very receptive to my changes and really wanted to make sure that her work reflected my vision. Well, she knocked it out of the park! When I saw my bouquet and my ceremony arch specifically, I was in absolute awe. It was executed perfectly. I highly recommend Blooms Reston for your next event.

From day one when I first contacted them, they were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. I had a zoom meeting with Rachel and we went through all of my requests, I submitted inspiration pictures, she knew every single flower in every picture! It was evident she knew her profession! Even when it came to about 2 months before the wedding and I went crazy bride and changed the centerpieces completely, they accommodated my centerpiece diy project, and never did I ever feel like I inconvenienced them at all! I nearly cried when I saw my bouquets, they looked almost exactly like my inspiration photos, they were absolutely gorgeous!I got endless compliments on all of our flowers! My bridesmaids were very excited to keep their bouquets! Weddings are extremely stressful, but I found Blooms was one less stress to add to the load! I’m extremely happy with their services and their artistic take on their work! I give them my highest recommendation!

I worked with Rachel, and she was wonderful from start to finish! When we met for a consult, she had pictures of different flowers ready to share that matched the colors I wanted. This was super helpful because while I knew the color scheme and general idea of what I wanted, I unsure of how to describe exactly what I wanted. She was able to gauge my preferences using those pictures and made me feel much clearer on the vision for the day. I couldn’t have been happier the day of the wedding. The florals were bigger than I anticipated and absolutely stunning. Rachel created a perfect balance of the colors amongst the flowers and my husband and I couldn’t have been happier! Rachel and Blooms Reston did a FABULOUS job on our October 1 wedding. Rachel was super helpful and flexible when we wanted to change the color scheme 2 weeks out. She executed our vision to perfection. I had so many compliments from guests on the florals. I highly recommend!!

Neither my wife nor I know much about flowers, yet this was something that we wanted to get perfect. Our wedding took place in two locations: a Catholic ceremony at a church, and the reception at a golf club. Because we were married on a Catholic “feast day” that is traditionally symbolized with red roses and white lilies, getting the flowers right was more than just a matter of “looking pretty;” they held a deep spiritual significance for my wife. Rachel and her team immediately understood this, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My wife and I know little about flowers, yet after a few basic questions about our general ideas, Rachel was able to come back to us with beautiful samples and a clear vision that surpassed our imagination. She primarily focused on the red roses and white lilies as requested, but also used her expertise to bring in hydrangeas, snapdragons, greenery, vines, and more. The arrangements and combinations were exceptional. For my wife and I at least, the saying about how “we didn’t know what we wanted until we saw it” rang true; it was uncanny how Rachel was able to accomplish that! We also knew from earlier reviews that Blooms Reston had experience working with a diverse variety of both religious and secular weddings, and they were excellent in suggesting florals specific for Catholic ceremonies (altar flowers, Flowers for Mary, etc.). Rachel was also excellent in her advice on how to save money without sacrificing quality; for example, her beautifully designed cascading bridal bouquet doubled as a sweetheart table decoration during dinner, bridal bouquets doubling during the reception as decorations and the bouquet toss, all possible thanks to the vases she provided alongside the bouquets. She even lent us her creative eye by looking at our wedding colors and suggesting which color linens and napkins would work best with the floral arrangements! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the florals, to the point where local guests had to act quickly (almost competed with each other!) after the reception ended to claim a centerpiece or other reception florals as take-home gifts (although we were able to take some florals home with us!). Whether it was our church using the ceremony flowers to decorate the altar at the masses following our wedding or guests taking a part of the wedding celebration home with them, we were happy not only with Rachel’s work on our wedding day, but also that it would live on beyond the day with both our parish and our family and friends. If you’re looking for a florist to not only make your ceremony and reception visually breathtaking, but also someone who is culturally competent and experienced working with a diverse clientele with varied religious (or secular) backgrounds, Blooms Reston Floral is perfect for you!

I worked with Rachel from Reston Blooms. When I first reached out to her, she was immediately very helpful and prompt. I included a lot of details about the flowers and look I wanted to have for the wedding. To my pleasant surprise, when we first met in person, Rachel had put together a test flower arrangement using the floral types I had described in my email so that we could see them in person and talk further about them. This was such an unexpected but lovely surprise and really made planning fun and easy. As we booked for the wedding, she was transparent and easy to work with. Their prices were very fair and reasonable. I had talked to several other florists already and none had been both priced well and such a pleasure to work with. On the day of, our flowers and arrangements arrived promptly and were exactly what I had envisioned. They looked and smelled beautiful, and our bridal party and guests had rave reviews for the wonderful blooms. The bouquets and arrangements were sturdily constructed and held up with good hydration throughout the night. I'm now in the process of drying the flowers for preservation, as they're much too beautiful to toss.

From my very first phone consult with Rachel I knew I wanted to work with her for my wedding. She and her team did a fabulous job and everything was even better than I could've imagined! I honestly don't know much about floral arrangements/flowers but Rachel was so patient while she walked me through all of the options and helped me visualize what it would look like. I spent a lot of time thinking what's my ideal wedding flowers. I created a list/folder of the flowers I like and I don't like. After I talked to Rachel at the first consulting meeting, I made the decision to work with her very quickly. I even canceled other consulting meetings with some bigger wedding flower companies, because I felt Rachel understood my aesthetic taste very well. We had very good conservation at the first meeting. During the planning process, we emailed back and forth all the time. She was super responsible/efficient communicator, and always gave me good suggestions/answers quickly. Our flowers were absolutely perfect! We had an arch for our ceremony that also got moved behind our sweetheart table at the reception, as well as centerpieces, bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières. Everything was perfect. Several guests thought the flowers were fake - that’s how perfect they were. Rachel was amazing from start to finish, even after we changed dates due to Covid, and then changed venues (due to Covid again) at the last minute. Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly! Highly recommend if you want someone who can help bring your vision to life, and make your wedding day worry free!

I had a few consultations with a few florists for our wedding, but I knew the moment I left my consultation with Rachel, there was no one else I’d rather work with. Rachel and I had chatted a bit before the consultation about what I was thinking, and she pulled together some flowers for me to look at when I got to my consultation, which was very helpful. From the beginning, Rachel was absolutely amazing at making my half-baked vision come to life! We iterated a few times on what would be the final flower picks, and she was awesome at providing me options that worked within my budget and answering all of my questions. Her excitement to work on our flowers made me even more excited! When our flowers arrived at the shop a few days before the wedding, Rachel sent me a picture and I was thrilled to see everything coming together. When the big day came, Rachel came up to the bridal suite to show me everything and I almost cried because of how beautiful everything was! I was so happy to see her, and wish she could have stayed!! To me, the flowers were my favorite part of the wedding experience, and I can’t imagine a better florist to trust with my vision! My only regret is not investing the time or money into preserving my bouquet, because it was absolutely stunning!!

After our consultation, we knew that we would be choosing Rachel and Blooms Reston Floral to provide our wedding flowers. My husband and I went to other florists and none of them made us feel as comfortable as Rachel did. Rachel was extremely helpful and made great suggestions for substitutions based on the season and had multiple price options to fit our budget. She also took out flowers from the back and put them together so we would have an idea of what it would look like which we really appreciated. When we had to cancel our big plans due to COVID-19 and decided to just get a bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, she made the process very easy. I made all floral arrangements for my wedding long distance. Via email and phone calls, Blooms was able to take my reference images and do EXACTLY what was in the pictures. I was stunned at how accurately they made the reference images come to life. They were at the venue on time to deliver and went with the flow when no one from the venue was there to greet them. The flowers from Blooms were probably one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Everything looked amazing and classic. The team was very attentive in setting everything up, making sure it looked okay to us and then even coming the next morning to pick up the items we had rented. I was blown away by the arrangements for our big day! I had a pretty specific vision and they came through. I loved all of the flowers for the ceremony and reception. I am still stunned on my bridal bouquet. It was exactly what I imagined plus more! The only hiccup/concern was that we were missing the boutonniere for my father. Thankfully one of the groomsmen graciously gave theirs to my father. Other than that, I was very pleased.

I worked with Kate from Blooms Reston Floral for my March 2019 wedding at Stone Tower Winery, and she was absolutely wonderful! I received so many compliments on the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces at my wedding! Kate captured the exact look that I had in mind while also tying in beautiful, unique touches that made the flower arrangements look really special. I loved my bridal bouquet, and all of the other wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres were beautiful as well. The centerpieces looked beautiful, and Kate even added additional touches like greenery on some of the decorative tables and flowers for our welcome sign. I only had to give Kate a few rough ideas of things that I liked, and she did all of the rest. I couldn't have been more pleased with how beautiful and fresh all of the flowers were. In addition to the excellent final product, Kate was great to work with from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful in our first meeting with coming up with recommendations and ideas, and she was very easy to communicate with via email throughout the wedding planning process. Anytime I emailed her to update something, I received an immediate response. She delivered the flowers at the time we requested on the wedding day and was right on time. My husband and I are so happy to have chosen Blooms Reston Floral to provide flowers for our wedding. Kate helped us through the entire process. I enjoyed working with her because she was very caring, accommodating, and pays great attention to detail when discussing our vision. Most of our communication was through email. Her responses can be so in-depth and informative. We loved that! My husband and I had a budget we were trying to work with, but was having a difficult time deciding how to cut the costs - this became very stressful. Kate came to the rescue and shared her thoughts in order for us to make the best decision based on the options she offered. On the day of the wedding, the flowers arrived 2 hours before the start of the ceremony. I was having a difficult time trying to visualize the flowers we chose, but they turned out so beautiful on our wedding day. Kate did a beautiful job and I recommend this floral shop to anyone who wants beautiful flowers on a budget.

Rachel really came through with the wedding bouquets and flowers. We asked for bouquets, boutonnieres, and two large flower arrangements in front of the arbor. They had a short time frame to work with as another florist had flaked on us. Everyone talked about how the bouquets were gorgeous. I personally loved the large flowers front and center for our wedding ceremony. Surprisingly the flowers lasted seemingly forever. My bridesmaids kept their bouquets in water for up to two weeks after the wedding. Then one bouquet ended up a box, covered by decorations, sealed for five days. I took it out and placed it in water, where it lasted for another week. It was really impressive. I would and have recommended to all my friends.

Kate was amazing and helpful from the start! She meet with me for over an hour, helping me plan my center pieces and showed me the flowers put together in the shop. She also gave me price options and reused my bridesmaids bouquets on the tables to help with costs. Delivery was on time and she went above and beyond my expectations. Everyone was blown away by the stunning florals and greenery!

I am so happy I had blooms do the bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding. Kate listened to what I wanted and made excellent suggestions. She also did a great job of including my mom, who has a massive garden and knows a lot about plants. She even let my mom bring some of her own greens to incorporate into the arrangements. Kate is absolutely amazing!! She works wonders with her flowers. I decided to go with Reston Blooms because Kate was the florist at my older sister's wedding. And just like her wedding, I received the most compliments on my day about the bouquet arrangements and center pieces. I would have not know where to start with flowers but Kate would pull from her store and put the arrangements together in front of me to show exactly how they would piece together. She did a great job with suggestions and I followed them the whole way. She also worked with me over FaceTime since I was an out of state bride. Absolutely amazing!! Kate is absolutely amazing! When we had my consultation, she knew exactly what I was envisioning and even grabbed flowers from the shop to demonstrate the different flowers they could use. I knew immediately that I wanted to use her and her team as our florist. Leading up to our wedding she was easy to get in touch with and answering any of my questions. Our wedding just passed this May 2018 and we were all blown away with the arrangements and bouquets. Everything looked even better than I could have imagined. I'm already working on preserving the flowers!

We got married in April 2018. We worked with Rachel and she was amazing! She was able to take the ideas in my head and make them come to life! She was always quick to respond and happy to help with never ending changes. Also I would like to note that they are very affordable, at almost half the cost of the other florists we met with when planning. We are so very pleased with the results!

Our flowers were AMAZING for our wedding! They looked better than I could have imagined! We were so happy with them and they made the cold day feel so much more bright and warm! Kate was great! I showered her my bridesmaid dresses and my dress and asked for a general garden feel and she started pulling flowers to show us her ideas for bouquets and center pieces! Kate and her team at Blooms Floral were worth every penny (and let me say that they are very affordable compared to other local florists). Kate personally delivered the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to my hotel room the morning of the wedding, which was a really sweet touch. Her arrangements are stunning!! I can't recommend Blooms enough! Rachel was amazing to work with. I contacted her one week before our wedding and she delivered perfection. We had beautiful garland on the fireplace mantle, trios of bud vases on the wine barrel high tops and larger arrangements on various tables throughout the venue. Our guests are still gushing over our flowers. Not only were the arrangements gorgeous, price point couldn't have been better. I can't wait to work with Rachel again. I highly recommend Blooms!

Kate from Blooms Reston Floral was beyond amazing to work with for our wedding!! I looked at a few other florists before finding blooms and I was just met by an assistant who told me to give them my pinterest board and what colors I wanted and that was it. When I set up an appointment with Kate, she sat with me and my Mom for about an hour helping me work out what I had in my mind but couldn't quite describe. I have no idea what flowers are which by name, I just know what I liked. Kate helped us with so much knowledge and was very patient with me when I kept going back and forth trying to decide. She gave great insight for how certain flowers would withstand heat and hugs (Grooms Boutonniere) and what would look best with all of the other flowers we chose. I can't wait to work with Kate again in the future for all of my floral needs!
