Angie was extraordinarily unprofessional!
Initially, I had a great impression as she had flexible pricing and didn’t force her clients into packages like other florists-which is ...
why we booked with her. However, after booking with her and making a down payment of $500 to hold the date, she was routinely 30 to 60 minutes late to every meeting there forward. This should have been the first clue… She showed up 3 ½ hours late on my wedding day…3 ½ hours! This pushed back ALL of our wedding day photos which forced myself and my husband to miss half of our reception in an attempt to catch up on photos. She was literally hanging the arbor as my guests were being seated. You cannot imagine being a bride trying to prepare for her most memorable day, but instead panicking because no one could find the florist. This should not have been a worry as I was about to marry the man of my dreams. Not to mention she forgot:
• Bridal toss bouquet
• LONG stem white roses to present to the mothers of
the bride and groom
• Never showed up at the end of the night for tear down services at the end of the event (my bridesmaids and I did the tear down during the reception as we would be charged by the venue if this process was not complete-you charged us for this service)
• We were charged for 6 groomsmen boutonnieres, but only wanted 3
When we attempted to reach out to the vendor for these egregious missteps, however, she refused to communicate with myself, my husband, or my in-laws. She wouldn’t even issue a refund for overcharging us for 3 extra boutonnieres.
Oh, I also forgot to mention that she sent addendums to our contract up to the morning of our event. She was the ABSOLUTE worse person I have ever done business with in my life. The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. Angie ruined my wedding day. I missed celebrating with my bridal party, I missed my photos, and I missed my reception. Her mistakes caused a HUGE problem.
As it turns out, she has double book another event on our wedding day.
There was no apology made. As a matter of fact, when we attempted to contact her by email, text, and call she failed to return communication.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BLOSSOM AND BRANCH!
Couples... please do yourself a favor and work with Angie and her great team at Blossom & Branch Designs! I didn't know what I wanted, but knew I wanted something 'unique' and 'dif...
ferent' ... don't we all?! Angie and her team over delivered and reduced every stress I envisioned. The Blossom & Branch Designs team are true artists that designed such creations that were so uniquely beautiful and different, words cannot describe it. They understood my limited direction and delivered the most beautiful floral designs, they reduced every stress with the professionalism of their process and I got SO many compliments on my bouquet, basically the entire venue was so amazing guests could not stop talking about it for weeks after. I am SO happy with every single aspect the service and would recommend them to anyone, any party or any event that wants to make a beautiful, unique and thoughtful floral event design statement. Please work with Angie... you won't regret it.
Blossom & Branch Designs (Angie) was by far my favorite vendor to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process! My flowers were beautiful, thriving & totally affordable!...
I searched far & wide to find a floral & event designer that could meet my needs & budget & Angie &B her team totally delivered! I got one huge lovely bouquet for myself, awesome corsages & boutonnieres for the wedding party. sixteen guest table arrangements (mixed styles) & two last minute flower crowns for my flower girls that made me a tiny bit jealous! I also got some single stem flowers to place in my hair that were gorgeous! Have you ever talked with someone you've never met & they just understood you? That is what is was like to talk to Angie. She just "got" me, like we have been friends for years. She picked out my favorite bouquet & corsage from my Pinterest board & made wonderful suggestions to add color & dimension to all the flowers. She was able to incorporate ribbon I provided in the colors of our wedding too & made everything so creatively & elegantly done! Everything was fresh & beautiful & lasted all day in the unusual hot September heat. Angie explained every item in my quote & why things cost the way the did, which was incredibly helpful and extremely reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received. She reassured me that I was making the right decisions and actually provided me with cost-saving ideas that were great! Contract & payments were straightforward & pickup was a breeze. I also used her & her team as my Day-Of-Coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly with all vendors because I trusted her & her staff so much. Everything was perfect! I Love Blossom & Branch Designs! I highly recommend them & will be using them for all of my floral/event needs in the future!

cheaper. She really gave me the feeling that I could trust her to create the vision for my wedding. And she did it perfectly! Everything was beyond beautiful and my bouquet, OMG, I'm still in love with it! I had my wedding at The Metropolitan Club in the Sears Tower and the people from the venue told us it was the prettiest decoration they've ever seen there! Plus Angie is very fun to work with! And she has very affordable price and even gave me some extras for free. I actually went to a different florist before and can't even compare the level of professionalism. Couldn't recommend more!
Angie and her staff were amazing. I did not have to worry about anything. The flowers were beautiful and the hall was decorated wonderful. I would recommend them for sure.

d with how much time Angie spent talking with me over the phone trying to get an idea of what I invisioned for my wedding. Angie is a true artist and took my ideas and brought them to life. My flowers, centerpieces, and other decor were absolutely gorgeous and she went above and beyond to help give me my dream wedding. Endless texts, emails, and even face to face meetings Angie was always available for me. I feel like I gained a friend when I hired Angie and I would highly, highly recommend Blossom & Branch Designs.
Where do I even begin when talking about Angie and her team?! She went above and beyond my expectations for the flowers at my wedding. As she would tell you, I was extremely nervou...
s about the flowers. I had a vision in my head and I needed to see it come to fruition. With that being said, Angie met with me MULTIPLE times without question and no charge. She brought me to the flower market to pick out my flowers to make sure that I was getting the prettiest flowers for the best price. My flower budget was not very big, but you would have never known that if you attended my wedding. Angie was very responsive, professional, SO fun, great sense of humor and had everything detailed so I was comfortable. When I got to the venue the day of my wedding and saw my flowers, I started to cry! She literally took the picture out of my head and brought it to life. I am so incredibly thankful for Angie and her team and would recommend her all day, everyday. Thank you very much!
I don't even know if there are words to truly describe how amazing Angie is...an absolute joy to work with and so very talented. She was always so responsive and really fun to work...
with. All of the arrangements and the arch created by her and her team were absolutely breathtaking. I can't even count how many compliments we received on how beautiful all the flowers were. She was so great about working with my budget and answering any questions I had. Everything was beautiful and looked like we spent much more than we actually did. I knew it would be great but she exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend her highly enough. She truly goes above and beyond. You will be so happy you chose her and team for your wedding/event. Will recommend her company to everyone!
The flower arrangements designed by the team at Blossom & Branch Designs for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Working with Angie was so easy - she helped us elaborate on our i...
deas and had many great ones of her own to help us fill in the blanks. My bridal bouquet was exactly how I imagined it, and the bridesmaids bouquets complimented it perfectly. They even created a floral hairpiece for my maid of honor! But I think my favorite thing from them was the beautiful chuppah they designed for us. I'll be honest - during the ceremony itself I was so overcome with happiness that I barely took in any of my surroundings, but looking back through the pictures, the chuppah really stood out to me as creating the perfect setting for our ceremony. It was gorgeous, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Thank you so much to everyone at Blossom & Branch Designs for helping us to create the perfect day!
Angie was absolutely incredible to work with! Very easy to communicate with, and for a bride who wants a "worry free" day, Angie is there for you! She set up all of our table cent...
er pieces, helped pin the flowers on the men, and delivered the bouquets to the church for the girls in a timely fashion. We met a few times to talk about ideas, and she was spot on! She puts so much love and attention to detail in her work, and it shines through in the final products. Very highly recommended. Beautiful work! Thank you so much Angie and your team--You ROCK!
I am not a flower person-- I don't care for roses, daises, peonies, etc. When I told Angie with Blossom & Branch Designs this, I was expecting to still be pushed in that direction ...
because, you know, it's a wedding afterall, and that's the protocol/expectation, right? To my delight, she started showing us pictures of plants and flowers I'd never seen before and never thought could be used in a wedding/reception (don't worry, she still does the traditional and really cool stuff too). We clicked and she was absolutely a joy to work with. The day of, Angie was was cheerful, calm and collected (it was raining...for an outdoor wedding) which was a blessing as everyone else was...not. I probably gave her leeway than most brides with the centerpieces, but after several conversations I trusted her to handle almost anything. The most compliments we received after the wedding were on the flowers and the centerpieces that she did-- not the music, food, dress, alcohol, games... everyone was raving about the centerpieces and flowers. Seriously, if you're getting hitched, there is no one that is better or better to work with! She is also super nice, easy to get along with, and pretty hilarious to top it off!
I was just in a wedding over memorial day weekend where we showed up to the ceremony site at 145 and there were no flowers for the 2pm wedding. I called Angie to see what the situa...
tion was and she told me that her driver Matt should be there with the Shepard's Hooks arrangements, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids, bouquet, and boutonnieres. I informer her that they were not and she said she would call her driver and find out where he was. I let 10 minutes go by before I called her back and she told me that Matt had gotten to the site and no one was around and that he needed to use the restroom and didn't want to leave the flowers out in the humidity. I find that hard to believe that no one was there. She then told us he was 5-10 minutes out. Meanwhile other bridal party members were contacting her regarding the situation and she was very combative and kept changing her story. When I was on the phone with her I told her that the bride would have to contact her regarding financial compensation later and she was aggressively trying to imply that it wasn't her fault and that her driver has never done this. At this point it was 2:20, the bride was crying, and we were still being fed the line that he was 10 minutes out. At a certain point we told her there was a wedding after ours and that we could no longer wait. One of the grooms uncle's drove to downtown Hinsdale and walked into a florist shop, and explained the situation. They whipped up a bouquet for the bride and provided 7 long stem white roses for the bridesmaids. In the middle of the ceremony someone form blossom and branch showed up and dropped off the bouquets without talking to anyone, they were wilted and not even in water. It honestly looked like something she just threw together at the last minute. It is my opinion that the owner is rude and unprofessional and should never receive business again!
