First she left without telling my wedding coordinators. I began looking at the space and I was missing a whole piece for the backdrop. My coordinators called her and she said she had it and would come back. So very confused why if you had someones piece they paid for, why would you leave with it? Second, what she brought back vs my inspo photo literally could not of been more different. I wanted flowers to frame the outside of the backdrop. She brought this circle thing, that had sticks in it. Third i had bud vases that should have had white or pink roses, they had STICKS, literal sticks. I’ve never been so confused how she went from my inspo photos to what she delivered.
The bouquets were fine and so were the centerpieces.
Last, it was windy and she was putting flowers in a rental item at the end of the aisle. They fell, which I can get happens but rather than saying anything, asking for help or literally anything she just left. We had 20+ people around before the ceremony when she was there that could have helped if we had known.
Overall, just zero communication and her taking inspo pics and doing whatever she wanted was really upsetting. Especially when I had paid for roses and got sticks. Go with someone who will actually listen to what you want. She said that she thought the sticks went well with the other decor.
If you want sticks instead of flowers hire her.
Florals were exactly as expected. We had a few back and forth conversations on my inspo and she put together arrangements that fit the bill without any issues.
Roxanne from Blossom and Thorn provided gorgeous arrangements for my destination garden wedding . She was flexible and responsive to work with. I was thrilled on the day of when I got to see everything tied together. In addition to our table arrangements, she made corsages, boutonnieres, and my bouquet. All were in beautiful condition, and exactly what I pictured in my head. Roxanne even sent me pictures of the flowers before they were assembled a day before the wedding. Overall it was a great experience, and I truly had the best day.
I was going to wait until after I received my professional photos to write a review but with the reviews below I felt the need to to so now.
I absolutely loved my arrangements. They were exactly as the inspiration in the contract. I ordered 1 bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaid, and 1 flower girls. I also order 3 boutonnières, and 1 kids boutonnière. Honestly I don't know if my nephew even wore his or what because days after I realized he was in a full suit and he was suppose to be in suspenders with just a dress shirt and pants.
My arrangements were at the venue when I arrived and even prior to that because all the men had them on before I arrived. All boutiques were in glass jars in water.
Roxanne had great communication with me. She always answered my emails. I wrote on prior to hurricane Ian and didn't follow through with the payment due to losing my job in hurricane Ian. When I recontacted her, she had no issue updating my order. I followed through with the order and I am so happy I did.
The order was exactly as the contract, on time, and beautiful! I would order again through her for any future events.
I am extremely disappointed in the service provided. My order was dropped off without any communication she had arrived. We weren't even sure what was dropped was for us because of the poor quality of what we found. Florals were thrown in used shoe boxes with no water. I've seen better florals at Costco than what I paid for. Every single thing that was delivered had to be altered in some way.
We did not receive any of our 5 centerpieces of eucalyptus which I tried to reach out about on the day of my wedding and never heard back. When I did hear back AFTER the event took place, I was told "the tables already had Center pieces on them" (which were from a previous event, mine had not yet been done) so she made the executive decision to place some "loose greenery" on the table. This was completely unnoticeable and NOT what I ordered OR paid for.
Per my invoice I asked for all white florals. Though I am aware some white florals can have a slight color of yellow or pink to them, what she provided included overwhelmingly yellow florals which had to be removed from every bouquet.
We completely created our own boutonnieres using florals from a wedding that took place 2 days prior. The older flowers looked better than the wilted ones provided. What she delivered was thrown in a shoe box and when we picked them up, the petals drooped dramatically and hung off the boys. I was told I should have just "plucked off" what was drooping. For what I spent, no petals should have needed plucked off. These were completely unusable. (See picture attached)
My grandmothers corsages were also taken apart as they were snap bracelets with flower bulbs that had not yet bloomed along with wilted flowers. On top of being a snap bracelet, it had very visible dried hot glue all over it along with a plastic piece. They looked cheap and sloppy. They were not usable and we also had to recreate florals for them using old ones from our venue. (Pictures also provided)
Due to the fact nothing provided was usable, I asked for a refund. I was told anything more than $200 would be theft on my end. What she provided was theft. I was never refunded for the centerpieces she DID NOT PROVIDE and what I did receive was NOT as ordered. I was told by a guest at my wedding that had been at a previous event with this florist that she had forgotten florals for that event as well. Mine was unfortunately not the first. The lack of professionalism and communication was simply unacceptable for someone running a business.
Nobody wants to see their mom fight back tears on the greatest day of their lives as their distraught family & friends have to scramble to create lemonade from rotten lemons. You only get one wedding day. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for services more deserving of your money.
Roxanne did all of my bouquets for me and my girls and couldn’t of asked for anything more. I sent her inspiration pics and she nailed it right on the head. She doesn’t disappoint ;)
