terally a head of lettuce that was cut in half with a little bit of dressing drizzled over it. The chicken was a little dry and with the little amount of gravy that was put out, I didn't even get to try and use that to salvage it. And the food wasn't even out long, I don't think everyone got a chance to actually get food. The mini bar, while the guy working it was super nice they really didn't have much of a selection. Mostly beer and wine and they ran out fast. When contacted about all of this the owner told my friends there's really nothing they could do for them other than a dinner for them and their friends. Well after such a disappointing dinner on their WEDDING night, I'm not sure why they would want to chance being disappointed all over again! They should be ashamed of the service they provided. I hope they learn from this and do better!

half smothered in Blue Cheese dressing with chunks of blue cheese on the bottom of the plate! I don't know about anyone else but I don't care for blue cheese at all. They didn't bring the right utensils to eat the food & when asked about it they just shrugged & said nothing they could do about it. The bartender was a very nice guy but the choices were minimal, went up to order something they didn't have it had to choose something I wouldn't normally have then they ran out, I don't like to mix alcohol at all. This company was a piss poor excuse for a professional catering service.

We had to eat the prime rib with our bare hands as there was nothing to cut it with!!! The blue cheese dressing on the salads tasted funny, napkins seemed to be in short supply as well! The bride & groom deserve a full refund for the food since it was a disaster!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish there was a zero stars because I would NOT recommend Blue Moon Catering

ut out all the food, nor did they bring it all either. There was supposed to be fruit, crackers, cheese, ect... Well we had lots of cheese but not much else. Next up is dinner. Let's start with not having proper cutlery, and plates. We had appetizer size plates and they only brought FORKS!!! The meals was mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, chicken and prime rib. See the issue? Only having forks made all of our guests eat said food items with their fingers... That is not okay! Now let's get onto the food. All the food was cold. Chicken was dry and even adding gravy didn't help. Even having the burners underneath it did nothing, except burn the food directly under them. They weren't stiring the foods but told the guests to do it if they wanted warm food. The Prime rib was sliced paper thin then cut in half. We didn't get full slices. Even though they had an entire othe prime rib they never even cut into. None of the food was labeled, so there was an allergic reaction with one of the guests. Then the main Girl doing the stuff (looked like a lead) decided she wanted to do dessert and so she placed out the chocolate covered strawberries (before all guests had even been served). She then proceeded to lie to the brides mother about how many they had, there were supposed to be 50 only 30 were there and when confronted she became confrontational and with an attitude. She did this with everything we brought to her attention. The more we tried to just explain our disappointment the more she got an attitude and then she decided they were done and cutting out (4hrs before they were supposed to) so some guests still didn't really get to enjoy their meal. When all this was brought to the manager and owners (Bill is his name) attention they told the bride she had big emotions and that none of this was a big deal, and that she needed to wait a few weeks for her emotions to calm down. The only compensation they are offering is a dinner to the bride a groom for ruining their reception! absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. I do not recommend this place to anyone for any event unless you want to be treated poorly and then told you have big emotions when things go wrong.

All was included in their service agreement. Actually the Bride family paid extra for an “upgraded” plasticware. It was awful watching the poor Bride have to pick up her prime rib and try to eat it with her bare hands. Potatoes were cold and had hard pieces of plastic in them. The string beans were straight out of a can. No one bothered to heat them up. Just placed them on a heating candle plate that’s designed to keep warm not cook. They stopped severing before everyone was served. Yes, that’s correct. Then just placed the dessert out before the Bride and Groom were ready for the cake. Before anyone realized they stopped serving the caterer took it upon herself to “throw” the left overs away. Dumped she said it was out too long. Health Dept states food that is served buffet style can be out a max of four hours as long as temp is kept and regulated. Time from service to food in trash under an hour. Thank God for good videographers! I truly hope the Bride and Groom are compensated for the disaster Blue Moon Caterers created. Worst service ever!!

guests stood in line for about 30 minutes waiting for food....delayed the entire wedding. I was horrified. To make things worse, no Blue Moon employee even apologized or tried explaining what went wrong! The food was amazing, but Blue Moon only provided about 2/3 of the tacos I paid for! Very upsetting.

s a large variety of culinary styles and dishes sure please every palate. They also worked with our budget to ensure we had the food we wanted at a price we could afford. The staff was very professional, friendly and efficient – they gave extra attention to the bride, groom, and wedding party but also made sure all guests were well taken care of. They checked in multiple times with my husband and I to ensure we wanted for nothing. At the end of the meal, they boxed up the extra food so that it could come home with us. I highly recommend Blue Moon for any catered event.

One thing that my husband and I really appreciated was, as our guests started going through the buffet, the staff brought us each a heaping plate of food to our table. We actually got a chance to eat before we started greeting our guests at their respective tables. A minor note from my parents was that it sometimes felt like there were communication gaps between staff on the sales side. For instance, my parents spoke to Employee A who promised to send the payment receipt the next day. After a few days passed, they called to follow up, and Employee B had no knowledge of it. However, this was a relatively minor issue that did not have any negative consequences on our event - the menu was spot-on and there were never any billing or payment mix-ups. Our overall experience with Blue Moon was great.

ven though it was not a service option they offered when we first booked them. Ashley was terrific to work with during the planning process. She was prompt with communication and detail oriented. I felt like she listened to all of our needs and made it work with our budget. Day of the wedding, the servers listened to our instructions to the tee. The goat cheese bruschetta was divine and many people commented how great the pork sliders were. The place settings were very classy and the champagne toast was executed perfectly. At dinner I would have liked the food to have been a bit hotter when it arrived but we were also running behind schedule. I was irritated when the jalepeno cheese grits were topped with bacon but a server quickly resolved the issue once I flagged her down. My husband was not a big fan of the steak but he said the turkey was good. All other components of the dinner were very tasty and my guests said it was the best wedding meal they ever had. The servers were great about keeping things clean and organized, so much so my slice of wedding cake disappeared after one bite when I was whisked away to the dance floor. We also had a bar that I never made it to but my husband was pleased with the service. Overall I think Blue Moon did a great job and I was impressed

r service is second to none. Tyler was incredibly helpful to us in taking care of the mistake made, and made our day awesome. We loved how easy it was to set up everything for our meal with them. They might cost more money, but having servers there was more than worth it for us. Thanks, Blue Moon!

oing to one of their "tastings". They have so much to offer and it's all delicious. You just decide what you like best from all their options. Choosing our menu wasn't that difficult and Bill worked with us and our budget. We had the bar service as well and they not only let us bring several cases of our own bottled beer in coolers, they displayed and served them from pretty bronze tubs that made it look so professional. They also gave us the first batch of frozen peach bellinis for free and dyed them purple for us to go with our wedding colors. The night of the wedding was wonderful. They plated the head table and kept the buffet up for the other guests. The food was delicious, (we had the penne in a Spinach Alfredo Sauce with Grilled Chicken and Vegetables and the Hearty Beef Lasagna) They let us mix and match the vegetables and salad to fit my daughter and her fiance's tastes. They were so friendly and professional that night. They made our night that much more special knowing it was all taken care of.

Which it was by the way. Absolutely amazing, all of our guests couldn't say enough about how good the food was. It was the best they had from any reception. I have some events coming up in the future and will absolutely utilize their services again.

d can be trusted since he has done so many weddings already. Te food was delicious, however, it was put away before the groom and I ever got a chance to eat. We thought it had just ran out that fast but the following day our parents pulled out hoards of leftovers which we also tasty. My only issue was that they should have left the food out longer. Other than that, everything was great! Thanks!
