We recently got our photos and video back and all we can say is WOW!!! We were blown away by how beautifully captured our wedding day was. My husband, family, and I are IN LOVE with our pictures and video from Blue Moon Video Productions! I knew I had to book Eddie within just a few mins of our initial phone inquiry. First, I loved the videos featured on his website, but what set my mind at ease was just how personable he was. Eddie was so so attentive and responded so quickly to all my questions beforehand. The questionnaires he had me fill out beforehand were great bc it ensured I got all the pictures I wanted and my vision for the day. The team Eddie brought with him on the big day was FANTASTIC! We, the girls, had Joe, photographer, and Manny, videographer. The guys had David, photographer, and Eddie, videographer. The plans changed the day before as far as picture locations due to the rain, but we found the PERFECT location at a pavilion on the water and the rain made for amazing pictures! The team gave amazing direction and made the whole process fun! My only disappointment was that we couldn't get any drone footage, but that was only due to the weather. I'm in love with our pictures and we received the highlight reel and feature film within the past two weeks and I'd be lying if I said I only watched it a couple of times lol. They even captured me on my husband's microphone me whispering, "I'm so happy' during our "first look" shoot and it made it onto our highlight and feature film. I was blown away! Family and friends are so impressed with the cinematic style of the videos and many have said they've never seen wedding videos like that before. Before I booked I questioned spending the money on videography, but I must say, you can't put a price tag on what we received from Blue Moon Video Productions! We will cherish our pics and video forever and I'm so grateful for their talent, hard work, and dedication to our wedding day. I will recommend Eddie and his team to anyone getting married. After doing a lot of research, my wife and I came to the conclusion that Blue Moon Video Productions was perfect for us. Any questions we had were answered with ease and in a timely fashion through email. There was just a real sense of professionalism that is unmatched. Unprofessional. As others have mentioned Eddie is arrogant and believes any competitors priced lower than his are untrustworthy, poor quality, and not to be considered. Just look at the e-mail he sent my fiancé after we decided not to use his service for a lower cost videographer. “I know what it cost to produce a wedding video, there's a reason why your getting 2 shooters really cheap... you already had a photographer that canceled on you? you get what you pay for!” Take missed opportunities as a learning lesson, not as a whining business owner.

The service and wedding video we received from Blue Moon was beyond our expectations. Eddie was easy to get in touch with the weeks leading up to the wedding and was always offering to speak to us more to assure us. Up to the day before he was available by phone to confirm and even change around plans to make the process as easy as possible. He was accommodating to the fact that we were not comfortable in front of the camera and helped make the video portion painless. Eddie and Manny knew how to get the shots that looked awesome in the video! Afterwards, they were very prompt in returning highlights to us and were quick to fix any of the little issues that came up in the editing process. My husband and I found Blue Moon through Wedding Wire and The Knot. We were a little apprehensive about using a company that we hadn't heard about through friends, but we really wanted videography and photography and nothing beat Blue Moon's price. With that being said, we couldn't be happier that we went with Blue Moons photography and videography package! Jonathan was our photographer and he was fantastic! Totally my style and knew exactly what we wanted all the way down to the tiny detailed pictures. Although the video took a little bit longer than expected. It came out absolutely perfect! I emailed Eddie about a few tiny edits and he made them Within 24 hours. This video is something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality photographer and videographer.

I just spoke with Blue Moon photography on the phone, and will definitely NOT be hiring them. The person I spoke with was awfully rude, arrogant, and patronizing. He asked my my budget, to which I replied with the cost my sister paid this past December with a different videographer. He was so incredibly rude to me that it brought me to tears. I understand that my sister's videographer was a low cost and a great deal, which is hard to come by in this industry but that is in no way an excuse for the behavior of this man on the phone. To be honest, I was able and willing to go up to the cost the he eventually told me, after completely bashing the number I gave him, but I would never work with this company after this glimpse of awful treatment of potential customers.

We were very happy overall with Blue Moon Video Productions. Before our wedding they were willing to answer all of our questions without hesitation. Their work is amazing and we were very impressed by the videographers' professionalism at our wedding. We were married on June 15 of 2015, and even today, over one year later, people are still telling us how they didn't even realize we had a videographer because they fit in so well with the party. Blue Moon is very modern and up-to-date in terms of the technology they use, which was important to us. We absolutely loved our highlights video and it was fun to share with others as well. The only reason we did not give a fifth star is because of the modern editing, we felt some things were left out of the final video but there just wasn't a way to include it in. Overall we were extremely happy with Blue Moon and we have recommended them to all of our friends as well!

After talking to a total of 5 photography/videography companies, Jessica and I decided to go with Blue Moon as they had, by far, the highest quality finished products while still being extremely cost competitive. OMG PHOTOGRAPHY!!! - August 2015 Wedding What a Great photographer we were assigned by Eddie and Blue Moon! Let me tell you, this guy Dave was getting down and dirty to make sure he caught the best shots for us. I mean he was on the floor, crouched behind tables, and all types of awkward positions trying to catch the best angles of our wedding. Even think I saw him hanging from the chandelier once! No, really. He was like an acrobat photographer. And I must admit, this turned out to be A LOT of wedding for one photographer alone, but Dave surely optimized his skills to cover it. He brought with him a great personality that shined even through frustrating moments. He handled everything well. Oh, and our guests loved him. They experienced great interactions with him. I must admit that not being able to meet or speak with our assigned photographer had me slightly skeptical prior to signing the contract. And I don’t usually enter into these types of “blind faith” deals. But I’m glad we did, as we are very satisfied with the results. It became obvious to me that Eddie is no novice in the game. At some point during our process we were conflicted whether we would do “the first look” or not. Eddie recommended we did and why we should. I’m glad we listened. He’s great- knowledgeable, flexible, responsive, and makes himself accessible to his customers. Just make sure to bring a Snickers with you if you’re meeting before lunch--- he turns into Joe Pesci if he hasn’t eaten ;) Listen, if you’re still thinking about it. Stop it!!! Hire these guys now. They are professionals at the trade, with a lot of experience and expertise and we were able to organise everything according to our likes and wish. This company was recommended to me when I was looking for a wedding videographer. When I visited their site, I fell in love with their work. The sample videos were exactly what I was looking for. Customer service was friendly and gave me a great quote for the work I was looking for. On the day of my wedding, these guys showed up on time and were extremely professional and hard working. They explained the whole process to me and got great shots of us with our guests. When I received the final edit, I was blown away. Eddie at Blue Moon gave us a great video. They did a great job with quality editing. After we saw the initial cut there was just one thing we wanted edited differently. He fixed it for us, no problem. They were great.

We chose to do the package with the highlight video as we wanted a video that was short enough that we would want to watch it often and also share it with family & friends easily. We worked with Eddie during the process to clarify the elements that were important to us to include in the short compilation. On the day of the event, the videographers did a great job of catching all of the important moments while being in the background and not being intrusive. Many guests didn't even realize we had videographers when we told them as they were working with their rather small DSLR cameras. The videographers were skilled -and the editors did a professional quality job of putting it all together with music and sound bites. As with any of your vendors, it is important to communicate so it is clear what you want. Eddie was responsive when I asked him to include a sound bite from my father's speech. We were extremely happy with the product. It told the story of the day in a stylish and beautiful way.

We just picked up our movie poster and video tonight and I couldn't wait to get on here and write a review! My husband and I were married at Lake Mohawk Country Club on September 28, 2014 and everything was AMAZING, the leaves were starting to turn and every moment of our video captures the gorgeous scenery and, most importantly, the love we share. Ignacio blended right in and caught some perfect shots, silly faces, singing to one another, and gazes where we were completely lost in the moment. He also didn't miss a moment of the action between the dance floor and the photo booth. Our highlight video has brought everyone who has seen it to tears, everyone is just so moved by the moments Igancio and his assistant captured. The movie poster looks great and is a super fun thing to have, my mom was really excited to see her name in the "credits"! Eddie has been super responsive and helpful through the entire process, no matter how many questions we had. We would definitely recommend Blue Moon's services to anyone looking for a videographer.

Eddie Kantis and his photo and video team at Blue Moon Photography did a phenomenal job on our wedding photos and videos, they made us feel and look like rockstars!! My husband and I got married on June 6th 2014 at the Surf Club On The Sound in New Rochelle, NY and everything came out gorgeous! The quality of everything just blew us away. For our video we received a highlight (short) video, a full length video of our whole day, and then a directors cut that was just plain awesome. Each video and photo was better than the next, and it looks like real movie quality. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to truly capture every exciting moment of their special day, they are top notch!

Worst experience of my life! My family was in an HBO documentary called "all aboard Rosie's cruise" ten years ago. I did a google search and found blue moon video productions so I called. I spoke to Eddie personally and I explained that we were looking for a video of our special day and exactly what I wanted. I saw the price of $1600 and said if it was out of my budget it would not be a problem. In my opinion this unfolded like a used car salesman. Eddie said it would not be a problem. This was so important to me because our kids were ten years older now and my oldest son was being skyped in because he is a United States Marine serving and could not be with us. No where is my son in the video. It ends up what I bought which was never explained or I would never have agreed was a sizzler. Two weeks before my video was to be done Eddie asked for 5-7 songs which I provided. I received an email my video was finished and I responded when would I receive the DVD. His response was no DVD came with the package but I would receive a link to download. The link did not work so I called him back and he said he wanted to make me happy so I could come pick up a copy on DVD. Nice right? I picked it up and brought it home, deleted was the music we came out to, deleted was the lighting of my parents candles in honor of them, deleted was the blessing of the rings, deleted was communion and deleted was a song played at the end that our family hugged to. Other then our wedding song not one of our selected songs was in the video. What was put in during our vows was the soundtrack to Brokeback mountain! I was upset to say the least and it was horrible. I then had a friend email him who was calm and asked how much for the raw footage. I had to pay an additional $1200 for that which I received today. My kids could have done a better job, lots of footage of people filling their plates. This was a once in a lifetime for us and it was a waste of money and then more money. The guy who came and did the video I later found out hit on the bartender and the dj wife. He also kept going over to the dj telling him he could not wait till it was over because of the heat. I wrote a bad review also on another site and had to send proof I did business with this "company" which I did. I paid in total $2800 for crap and the fact my son is not even in the raw footage tops this mess. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Blue Moons team were constant professionals from beginning to end. We were quite happy with the outcome of our video. It had interesting and seamless transitions, and was not at all boring to watch...it was our wedding movie. We would highly recommend future couples to think about what they want captured outside of the usual (e.g. vows, ring exchange etc.) and clearly articulate that upfront so you get exactly what you want. We are more than pleased....enjoy!

You really can't beat the value of Blue Moon. I was hesitant to add a videographer onto my budget at all, but I'm so glad I did. There are so many details of your big day that are worth remembering. Eddie was very professional and easy to get in touch with, and Ignacio, our videographer for the day, was excellent and unobtrusive. As for the final product, the 'trailer' for the video was a lot of fun to watch, and the full length version of the day was wonderful and well put together. Great job!

I have to say that I wasn't always happy with Eddie because I felt like he was always trying to upsell me. However, the day of the wedding, the videographer was really great! Eddie was also really helpful in answering questions. I haven't seen the video yet, so I can't speak to that but I'm sure it will be eautiful based on the samples.

Budget friendly (could make payments as you went including after the wedding), easy to work with, upgraded our video package at no extra charge, and the photographer showed us our pictures as we went. They figured out our style and what we wanted and delivered it. Not well known yet but they should be!

Blue Moon Video Productions and Photography did a wonderful job on my wedding video! I hated waiting for it, but I know projects like this take a long time. My wedding was in June and I got the video back in November. Planning: Eddie was great to work with and told me what to expect the day of the wedding. He told me how long everything typically takes to film which really helped me plan and coordinate the day. The website is also very user-friendly and allows many options for personalizing your video. Day-of: There were three cameramen that were there the day of my wedding and I hardly even noticed them filming. They were dressed well and were very discreet. They really worked hard to get creative shots. Final Product: Watching my video made me fall in love with my husband all over again! The first dance was up close and intimate and only focused on the two of us on the dance floor. Our wedding song is also playing in the background, which I was surprised was included because I thought the audio might be muffled, but it was crystal clear! All the rest of the important moments throughout the day were included, like the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, etc. This is in no way Blue Moon's fault, but make sure you be specific about what you want included, because I was hoping to see more of the guests that were at the wedding on the video and more of the cocktail hour, which my photographer didn't get any pictures of. But, I didn't list those things on the website, so that is my mistake. The only thing less positive thing I have to say is that sometimes the quality of the footage was blurry. Bottom line: Blue Moon worked very hard to make sure we would have a creative, unique video that resembles a real movie. I have watched my video over and over and cry every time. I would definitely recommend them for video productions, and I have no doubt they would create beautiful wedding photography, as well.

I hired Blue Moon Productions to video my son's wedding in August at the Palace in Somerset. The highlight video and finished product were perfect! Eddie is so easy to work with and I forgot the videographer was even there and yet he didn't miss a thing! Couldn't be happier!

We had our wedding at The Atrium last July and were referred to them by a friend. We saw our friend's highlight video and loved what we saw. We visited with Eddie and he was extremely easy going and personable. There were many options to choose and everything was seamless. There also was a cool little online log-in to use so we can make requests as well as make payments. I think it was the only vendor we used that we actually had our own log-in for. On our wedding day, the videographer was awesome. I had no idea he was even filming, he just stayed out of the way and got every shot we needed. Very rare to have that kind of service. We thought the video would take a few months, and the highlight video came within weeks quickly followed by the video. The picture was crystal clear and we were able to have all the songs that we love in the video. Couldn't recommend Blue Moon more and I think you'd be foolish not to use them on your wedding day. I was married recently, and had a good experience. Pros- Eddie is great; he's helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. He was willing to manipulate the package however I liked. I had Joe as my photographer. He was great with my now husband and I. He gave good direction, showed us some photos as he took them, and was in contact with me by the day prior to the wedding. He also found me to give me a heads up about 30 minutes before he left, in case I wanted any specific photos taken care of before then. Also, the price was unbeatable for the quality. Even much lower-quality photography was more expensive than my Blue Moon package! Con- You cannot meet or speak with your photographer before signing the contract, unless you have an engagement session beforehand (I didn't have time). He/She will contact you just before the wedding. Eddie took care of all the scheduling, so it wasn't necessary, but I would have liked to meet the person documenting such a big day. *I had just one photographer, but I would also recommend having 2 photographers if you're having a larger wedding or may have family photos taking place during cocktail hour. This way, the one photographer can do family while the other does cocktail hour, and everyone can be calm and take their time! That's more of a recommendation than a con, though. All in all, I am really excited to see the photos, I love the ones I've seen so far, and I didn't have any major issues with the photographer. I was drawn by the price and agreed to the weird, "can't meet your photographer" rule because of the high quality of the photographers' work.

We used Blue Moon for their videography service only, as we'd already booked another photographer and decided last minute that we really should get a videographer. Eddie and his team did an exceptional job with filming and editing our video. All of the special moments we wanted captured were included in the video, and with a great soundtrack, too. My husband and I just received our video from our October wedding, and we've already watched it three times. We highly recommend Blue Moon Video Productions & Photography. Note to brides and grooms-to-be: If you are debating about whether or not you want a videographer for your wedding, get one! It is such a special thing to be able to watch, in action, your favorite friends and family celebrating; and to witness your vows to each other, and all of the unique moments that unfolded that day...

I was very happy with the service they provided me with and the price. I called other companies and they were requesting about $1,000 more. I would ask why they were charging so much more and they told me all sort of stories about how they were going to give me a better service and pay closer attention to my needs. In the end, I mainly chose Blue Moon because they gave me the lowest price and because I didn't find bad reviews online about them even though the amount of reviews they have are less in number. Other companies I found had hundreds of reviews and Blue Moon had 50 or so. But they were positive so I gave it a shot. In any case, I dont regret the decision at all. Jonathan was the videoman on the day of the wedding. He showed up on time, he was polite, and did a great job. My only less positive thing to say about Blue Moon is that they did take a while to give me the video. My wedding was in July and I think I got my video in September. Apperently they were backed up. The type I ordered was Blue Ray and it is soooo nice. I absolutely loved it. I feel I got high quality of service. I recommend it. Oh, and on a side note, I liked that I didn't have to give my credit card number to anyone because they have a system where you put all the information yourself. Also, you pay it in parts and only pay the last part once they have the video ready for you. but this may be with any company.

I could not have asked more from Eddie. A true professional both him and his team. I would highly recommend him and the 35mm package to anyone who wants to have a movie-quality film to last for a lifetime. The team he used was very professional, on time and well dressed. The production job was top notch as well. It took about 6 months for the result, but once you see the result, you'll think it should have taken longer. Is there a 6th star for value?

When we first saw the highlights of our wedding day, even before the full movie, we were amazed at the quality and memories captured. We couldn't wait to see the full video so we could remember more of our wonderful day. BMVP did an amazing job of creating a movie that we want to watch over and over. The staff at BMVP were also very professional and easy to deal with. They asked questions about what we wanted in a video and even let us choose the music!
