art with the best part, which is the planning power duo of Sam and Sky, both were very communicative and creative. Any and all questions were answered in a timely and thoughtful manner. Me and my then fiancee were rarely confused and we got to plan our perfect wedding with literally zero inconveniences. Secondly, the location and atmosphere was spectacular. Although, we only did the reception and cocktail hour at the location it all came out beautifully. Everything was clean and well organized, however we did have help with our decor vendor. Even so, Sam worked well with our vendors and proved to be a spectacular director that respected our vision. Thirdly, the planning process, very early on in the process we were given access to a Google Drive where everything can be found about your wedding. Documents to organize your vendors, guest list, and ideas can all be found there. I really appreciated this at it showed that the staff at Blue Mountain cared just as much as us. Bonus Pro, we loved the cake and cocktail hour setup. I'll start with the cake and how much we appreciate its inclusion in the package. The baker is very talented and any vision you have in mind will come true. Our cake was a recreation of the hobbit house from Lord of the Rings and it was like looking at a replica! The cocktail hour was also an amazing experience, the second level area provided privacy and an easy location to connect with the guest. There were very few cons, none affecting our experience, and all was resolved before the wedding. These are simply things future couples may want to consider. The menu, not to say the menu was bad, but it could be better and should be informed to couples that custom options can be available. For example, wild rice seems to be the main carb for the meals, but for some families that is not a viable option. Hence, when it came to food trial we did not like that option and some of the other main course options. Upon speaking with Chef Lou, he revealed that a custom option was possible and therefore suggested we did a paella. Although, it is an unorthodox option from their pre-constructed menu, they were happy to offer something different to our satisfaction. I would point out that the cocktail hour options were amazing, and even the add ons were a great touch as told to us by our guests. All in all, the food can be amazing if you put your mind to it, the flexibility is great here and wish that was communicated to us sooner as the food trial is only a one time thing. Lastly, my last con was something only brought up to me by the guests. We are aware of the time constraints and we want to be considerate to the employees helping us on that special day. However, a few guests were disappointed of the rapid clean up after the festivities had ended. Unsure if there was a lack of communication between Sam and the employees, but we did have an outdoor segment so perhaps there was a confusion there. So, due to the rapid clean up some guests were unable to recollect the wedding gifts we provided to them and did serve as a disappointment to them. However, Blue Mountain Resort still proved to be the supreme venue in the area and I wouldn't have imagined it any different! Thank you to all the staff and Sam and Sky who did a superb job in providing us an amazing day!

. The entire day and every detail was exactly what we asked for and then some. They were responsive and catered to every request we made. The food was amazing, the views were gorgeous, and our guests could not stop raving about the venue. The bartenders also crushed it! The best decision we made was Blue Mountain!

Some cons we had: they placed some of our decorations in weird spots, they put out the wrong colored table cloth on the cake table, and the day-of-coordinator really didn't do much coordinating - several times throughout the day we were confused about what was happening next/where to go and couldn't find her. Also, this wasn't a big deal to me, but our makeup and hair stylists didn't love that there was no bathroom in the getting ready suite. But all in all, we're super happy with how everything went!

The team/venue was extremely organized and accommodating to guest needs. The view from the ceremony site was breathtaking and we felt very lucky to be there. Not to mention the food, bartenders and cake were all fantastic. We continue to hear people talk about the chocolate cake! We highly recommend you say I Do at Blue!

immediately. My only concern was im here for the view, but there were these tall grasses behind the pergola, she assured me they wouldn't be there. We then had the pleasure of doing the menu tasting, as well as the planning meeting with Alana, she helped us pick out our signature drinks, plan out what we wanted and executed getting rid of those grasses. Our dog is the reason my husband & I are together so she was also a very important part of our day but we also didnt want to keep here there all night, Alana set us up with her dogwalker which was awesome because our dog Arya, was able to be there for the ceremony and Alana's awesome dog walker, Tiffany picked up Arya during cocktail hour, brought her back to us towards the end of the reception, and was so great with Arya. About a month before the wedding we had met with Emily who was all about doing everything in her power to make our dream wedding day come true. She went over all the details for our day and our meeting lasted about an hour instead of 20 minutes, partially due to us losing power and partially because she was so fun to talk with. She really out did her self the day of the wedding. We had some rain on our big day, but Emily was on top of the weather and when it would be close to us, she let us make the decision as long as there was no lightening. We were able to have our first look & ceremony outside as we really wanted. But she quickly and effortlessly with her team, was able to move cocktail hour inside, due to rain. Throughout the quickly moving day, she checked in on me while getting ready at the very cute on site bridal cabin. Brought us anything we needed, made sure that my dad and other guests that needed assistance was able to get to where they needed to go via golf cart. That being said my dad wasn't going to be able to walk me the entire way down the aisle, but she got him a reserved sign where he was able to meet me in the last aisle of chairs and walk me down. Emily & Sky were incredible the day of my wedding, they helped me move from person to person when i was in cocktail hour so that way i was able to see and greet a majority of my guests. She made sure that we ate, made sure me and my husband took a few minutes aside during each part of our day to soak it in, and the ENTIRE staff ran their asses off, they absolutely made our day perfect no matter what arose. The bartenders 10/10, they had kids meals out as soon as they sat, every time i put an item down thinking id be back to get it, they placed it at my table so we didn't lose anything. They packed everything up the way we had dropped it off. I cant say enough great things about BMR & the staff they have there. The staff at BMR, know what they are doing, take pride in their work, and they truly made our day perfect. Im so happy to have had the opportunity to work with them all, I cant wait to go back on our anniversary. There truly isnt enough space to say all the amazing things BMR, Emily, Sky and the rest did for us. Emily & Sky as well as Lisa were the MVP's of my wedding day. (Will add photos later)

Truly our guests still rave about our wedding which was July 6, 2024! Special shout out to Alana and Emily our coordinators and their teams and Catelyn the wedding cake designer/baker, all were so accommodating and cooperative and made this wedding one for the record books!!! We even let Emily know we will return annually to celebrate our anniversary!!! Every view at the resort, both inside the halls and outside, was AMAZING! The food was fantastic and the options you can add just top notch! Server, staff, everyone was so helpful and kind! Please, if you are looking for a venue with wonderful views, delicious food, and incredible staff, BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT is THE place to go!!!!!

efore committing. We did, and when we called back and booked we made sure to tell her how much we appreciated HER commitment to making sure we found the venue that was right for us. And man, Blue was. We could write the entire review based on how amazing the people at Blue Mountain are, and how special they made our perfect day. Planning with Alana was a breeze, and she was so patient with all of our many questions and so accommodating to every detailed request we made. The bartender, Robin, was equally accommodating, hopping on a 20 min call with my to discuss my signature drink and ultimately crafting a homemade hot honey syrup for my margarita - which he gave me an early taste of day of. And Lily, our day of coordinator, was a total rockstar - organized and responsive in the lead up and so helpful and thoughtful throughout the night. Finally, our cake was STUNNING - not to mention delicious. Catelyn created the cake of our dreams, complete with our little puppy pawing at one of the layers. If the people weren’t enough to cement that our decision to host our wedding at Blue was the right one (they were), every other detail confirmed it again and again. The foliage turned out in full force for our October date and we had our run of the place, the food was incredible, the newly re-done bridal cabin was the perfect spot for a midday break, and our guests commented again and again on how perfect everything was. We couldn’t agree more. Our photographers even pulled us aside for a first look of the reception, and the photos don’t disappoint. If you’re looking to throw the best party of your life, take Mollie’s advice and look around, but it’d be hard to beat Blue Mountain Resort.
