Noelle is extremely responsive, on top of everything, and has amazing attention to detail. Our venue required us to do rentals for plates, silverware, glassware, etc. which can be an overwhelming process, but Blue Rocks handled these directly with the rental vendor seamlessly. We had several guests compliment how lovely the food looked and tasted at our wedding. My only constructive feedback would be that there seemed to be a noticeable delay from which one room in our venue was served dinner vs. the other – perhaps, they just needed a few more staff to help passing out dinners. Through emails and phone consultations, they created an individualized menu that took into consideration our food needs (no shellfish) and vision for a varied menu. At one point, we asked to do passed horsdevoures all night without assigned tables for our guests. Ultimately we didn’t go with that plan but Blue Rocks was in full support. Being able to enjoy the food and talk to the chef created a lovely memory! Please the food was DELICIOUS! Our July wedding was hot and humid. However, Noelle and her team had smiles on their faces and made sure my husband and I were well taken care of. We really wanted to incorporate seafood options at our coastal wedding, and Blue Rocks was able to do that at an affordable price point that other caterers in the area just did not offer. The mini lobster rolls during cocktail hour were a hit! On top of the amazing food and drink, their team is a delight! Noelle is so down to earth and chill while simultaneously on top of everything. She was in constant communication with us in the week leading up to our wedding day to ensure we were aligned in lock step. We had our wedding at a non-traditional venue so we had to bring in all of the supplies. Blue Rocks did the supplies rental through Peak for us, which was incredibly helpful. They already have relationships and know exactly what is needed for the event, things like bar glassware totals, etc. Noelle constantly provided her expert advice for the event setup and flow to ensure their team could execute at their best. We already had our bar selections, but the day before our wedding my fiancée mentioned he'd love to have an aperol spritz during cocktail hour. Noelle checked back at their offices if they had any on hand and brought a bottle to the event just for him. Incredible service! We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

An on-site visit of our home was invaluable as we worked to solidify our menu, décor, table placement, linens, and floral arrangements. Without a doubt, Blue Rock is a full-service catering company! Our menu was just the right balance of breakfast and lunch offerings. The baked goods and deserts were to die for and the Bellini Bar added to a perfect day. Our guests still rave about the food! The team was also super helpful with last-minute furniture and heater rentals (you know weather is unpredictable) and everything was totally stress-free.

We finally were able to get married on August 20, 2021, and our expectations for food were definitely exceeded. In fact, it was in the top three compliments from our wedding guests, between the food, the band, and the desserts. We started with some passed hors d'oeuvres, including, my favorite, filet of beef w. garlic aioli, roasted tomato, and arugula micro on black sea salt parmesan toast. Along with a couple other passed appetizers, we also requested an artisan cheeseboard and a New England raw bar, which was absolutely amazing, with oysters and clams freshly shucked per order. We decided on dinner stations as opposed to served, sit down dinners and the Blue Rocks staff did an awesome job ensuring each table was called in a timely fashion to get their entrees. I honestly cannot even decide if I liked the pasta station with the fresh tagliatelle with braised beef shank ragu and the penne rigate, basil pesto cream sauce, grilled chicken + blistered cherry tomatoes OR the Butchers Block station with the garlic-herb grilled flank steak w/ smokey chimichurri and the rosemary + garlic pork loin w/ pinot noir & cherry pan sauce, better!! They even managed to make the salad bar look appetizing with two different salads, an artisan romaine Tuscan Caesar salad and a summer berry salad, and I am not even a vegetable eater!! I will say, again, the staff were amazing, in that, they made sure my husband and I always had an appetizer in hand or ensuring we had full plates of the dinner options to sit down and eat, something couples so often forget to do at their wedding!! Last, but not least, the cocktail bar was handled expertly, without guests having to wait long periods of time to receive their beverages, including our signature cocktails, created and presented beautifully by Blue Rocks Catering: The Summer Rose Sangria and The Moscow Mule. I would highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering for any future catering events and can confidently say you will receive the best service and care with Katie and her team!! P.s. I almost forgot about the late night menu Blue Rocks offers as well!! After a long night of dancing and drinking, about an hour before guests were departing, we had miniature cheeseburger sliders with pickles and french fries. This definitely helped to end the night on a good note and to soak up some alcohol before the end of the event! It was perfect. Our guests are still asking about the crab cakes, short ribs, and oyster bar! Katie’s husband has his own oyster farm and we were able to have a raw bar at the wedding which was an absolute hit! The bartenders also made the most amazing cocktails and didn’t skimp out on any of the good stuff. The staff was incredible and efficient and always checked in to see if there was anything we needed. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and the Behan Family Farm raw bar was icing on the cake! Having excellent food was our top priority, and Blue Rocks knocked it out of the park! r backyard wedding because our original plan was cancelled due to the Corona virus. We had two months to plan, and I have to say from start to finish, Katie (owner) was nothing short of amazing. She rewrote our proposal probably 25 times until it was exactly what we wanted and everything just worked out perfectly. Planning was super fun, and Katie listened to my ideas and totally perfected them. On the wedding day, Katie and her staff were so awesome and our guests raved about the service and the food. Now for the food and booze - biggest part of a wedding, and it was one of the best parts of our wedding. The signature cocktails were amazing (apple cider / bourbon cocktails) and Katie was so flexible with the bar area. The food was incredible. Our guests are still talking about it. Katie also catered our rehearsal dinner and even that food was so so good. Blue Rocks also was amazing with setting up the dessert table and had a lot of cool displays for dessert. I provided some things but Blue Rocks really jazzed up the table which I really thought was awesome. They took care of all of the little things you forget and make it more perfect than you can imagine. Also, there were always staff coming to me and my husband making sure we had our drinks and fed us while we were busy taking pictures and mingling. As a bride and groom you do all of this work for your wedding guests and it’s easy to forget about yourselves, but they were there always taking care of us and made sure we were happy and literally catered to... Looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing because the night was perfect and this company really, truly made it great. To brides and grooms - if your wedding plans were disrupted, give this company a call because I can assure you they will make your special day better than anything you can imagine.
