Blue Sparrow Events was the perfect decision for our wedding planners and overall design! We really can’t imagine not having their support or design expertise during all phases of planning. They listened carefully to our feedback, got to know us as a couple, and helped us make decisions we would’ve struggled with on our own. All of our vendors were selected perfectly to match our personalities, aesthetic and vision. Vanna and Alex were an amazing team and they made the wedding process comfortable, fun and unique! As a gay couple, we also found their responsiveness to our unique needs really important. They made sure all our vendors were LGBT-friendly. They also took action when we felt like some vendors were being too heteronormative. In the end, our wedding was beautiful and just right for us! We are so thankful for Vanna and Alex and seriously consider throwing another party of some sort just so we can work with them again!

As parents of the bride and living distant from Austin, we were not integrally involved withe the planning of the wedding. However, Vanna/Blue Sparrow were very good about keeping us involved in the planning process. The wedding weekend included several events spaced out over a three day period: a rehearsal dinner and welcome party on the first night, the wedding and reception on the second, and a farewell party on the third. Vanna was very efficient in guiding us through the preparations for the ceremony which included small children and a dog no less. The wedding day activities were beautifully choreographed by all of the Blue Sparrow personnel who were at once charming, polite, and attractive. This was no easy task and there were many activities to coordinate including hair & make up sessions, lunch, the wedding ceremony, a short cocktail party immediately after the wedding, and the actual reception. The entire day was wonderful, flawless, and free of any glitches whatsoever. We cannot say enough about the photographers, the band, and the caterering staff all of whom contributed to the success of the wedding. The last function of the wedding festivities was a "Farewell Party" which was a terrific and relaxing way to complete the weekend. The venues that we selected, with the help of Vanna and Blue Sparrow, for the multiple events were just perfect and fit the character of the bride and groom. To sum up, if we heard it once, we heard it fifteen times from our friends......"best wedding ever!" Thank you, Vanna and Blue Sparrow!

There aren’t enough words to say about how incredible Vanna and Alex were during our wedding planning. Vanna makes you feel so at ease with how incredible organized she is and she really helped me stay calm the entire time. Planning a wedding isnt easy but with BSE, it was a dream. Vanna made everything feel so fun and I didn’t feel stressed at all. She was an absolute rockstar and I highly recommend anyone and everyone hire BSE!!

I’m not sure where to even start with our review of Vanna and her team at Blue Sparrow, Events however simply put, they are magnificent! The year leading up to our wedding was quite a chaotic year for us — new city, new jobs, new house, and then covid. It was evident that a wedding planner would be an absolute necessity for us. After interviewing a few planners, Vanna was the clear choice for us. Her experience was very evident and spoke for itself, however what really sold us on BSE was Vanna’s ability to connect with us right off the bat. She was genuinely interested in us as a couple during our first call, making it feel like she’d known us for years! Throughout the entire planning process the BSE team was so incredibly helpful and thorough as well. As a couple planning a wedding during Covid, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Vanna was instrumental in helping us through the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. However when our day did finally come, it was better than we could have ever imagined! Seeing our multi-cultural celebration come together after a year of planning and having the BSE team there the entire day to make sure everything ran smoothly was the best decision we made! We wish we could do it all over again and can’t imagine doing it with anyone other than Vanna and the team at BSE. We promise if you choose to work with BSE, you will not be disappointed!

It is nearly impossible to detail how amazing Vanna and her team are in a short review. We spent about 1.5 years planning our wedding with Vanna. When we decided to do the ‘big wedding’, I knew we needed a full blown planner to be with us every step of the way and execute the day-of. Our goal was to be able to soak up every moment of the day without stressing about details, plans gone wrong, etc. We consulted with a few different planners, but as soon as we met with Vanna, we knew she was the one. Vanna is a friendly, smiling face, and honestly a great gal pal to have by your side during each step of the planning process. Vanna has impeccable organization, attention to detail, and professionalism – and is always one step ahead. She has an extensive planning timeline broken out in phases, so you know what to expect month by month leading up to the wedding. She also has awesome shopping guides and other resources to tap into, so you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Vendor selection was super overwhelming to us, so we leaned on Vanna to curate a short list for us in category. She handled every part of the process – creating the short list tailored to what we were looking for, compiling all the necessary details to make a decision, setting up any meet & greets, and negotiating to the final contract. In the final stages before the wedding, Vanna puts together an 8-10 page document that details every possible thing you can think of – contacts for vendors, timeline by the minute, ceremony details, seating chart, etc. – and shares it with all of our vendors. She makes it look like a breeze, but she really connects all the vendors together to make sure it’s a smooth day of everyone working together. The design phase with Vanna is so much fun! We never had a true ‘vision’ – we had more of a general aesthetic in mind, and she was able to turn it into a reality. She has so many creative ideas that I never would have thought of. The transformation of our reception space was seriously unbelievable. Every last detail was so thoughtful and executed perfectly. One of the top compliments we received from our guest was how beautiful everything was (hello black dance floor and floral installation!). We took Vanna’s advice for the flow & timeline of our day, and it was a 10/10. We worked in both a private dinner and a private last dance, so we had intentional moments just the two of us – but, we also had plenty of time to spend with all of our guests and hit the dance floor to soak up the party. She kept us hydrated and fed – including packing a to-go box of our late night food & desserts in our car that night. Life saver. Vanna is such a trusted partner – she gives incredible recommendations and advice, but always respected every decision we made. She truly came to life on our wedding day – in her element and getting things done. I honestly can’t imagine our day without her. Our moms and my bridesmaids are still raving about Vanna a month later. She’s darn good at her job, and you would be so lucky to have her by your side on your big day (and for the several months leading up!). I can’t recommend Blue Sparrow enough!

We were planning our wedding from out of town during COVID, and we could not have been more thankful to have such a great team to keep everything on track. Vanna has an expansive network of vendors in the Austin area which was so helpful, and she made sure to keep us on task and on schedule with all of the elements, no matter how big or small. If you are in need of a planner, trust me...you just found THE ONE. Vanna had been on my fiancée's radar for a long time. However, I was determined that we would at least speak with a few. Before speaking with Vanna we had a consult with another extremely talented and raved about planner. Like I said, she was great, but she was not Vanna! After our consultation with Vanna, we knew we needed her on our team! Her passion, excitement, personality, and genuineness was so apparent and welcoming. We had planned a beautiful wedding for March of 2020 but due to covid we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for March 2021. The extra year ended up being a blessing in disguise and we were able to make more upgrades and change some (alot) of details. I feel like Vanna helped us plan 2 weddings at this point! However, Vanna was always right by our side answering any and all questions. She is the best friend you never knew you needed!! She is completely on your side and is your greatest advocate and advisor. She could fully see our vision before we could. She made realistic suggestions. She helped us stay on track and on budget (even speaking up and politely telling pushy vendors "no" for us). Her attention to detail and level of organization is unmatched. I could go on forever...but I won’t. I’ve seen multiple people mention this, but it is truly unreal how she can bring together a dream vision when you can’t even fully describe it to her. She was able to add the extra details that really made the wedding reflect both of our personalities perfectly! Our wedding was absolutely EPIC, it could not have been more perfect. Vanna is truly amazing and she also surrounds herself with / attracts other amazing people. Paige and Tara are the perfect compliments / extensions of Vanna. All three ladies went above and beyond to make sure everything was even more magical than I could have ever dreamed.

With Vanna's eye for design and amazing vendor relationships, we planned the most romantic modern wedding outside under the trees. Fast forward to the weekend of our wedding and we have torrential downpours and flash flood warnings. In any other situation, I would have been a mess, but after working with Vanna and her team for the past year, I had absolute confidence that they were handling everything and they did! Tents were erected, rain plans enacted and then changed multiple times as the weather changed throughout the day. An hour before the ceremony the rain started to clear and plans changed again. The most amazing thing about Vanna and her team is that I didn't have to worry about a single thing and my guests had no idea that the plan that was executed wasn't the plan we had from the beginning. Everything was beautiful, the transitions were seamless and it was perfect!

Hiring Tara and the team at Blue Sparrow Events was the best decision ever!! I got married a week ago at The Allan House and I can honestly say that Tara with Blue Sparrow Events was the MVP of my entire vendor team. Tara went above and beyond to make this my dream wedding!I am a very detailed person...I think through everything and plan, plan, plan, and plan. Even with all that I am telling you that a wedding coordinator is a MUST- Tara gave me the most gorgeous, intimate, and flawless wedding! She also saved my wedding from disaster! My entire wedding was supposed to be outside but 72 hrs before my wedding a HUGE rain storm decided to linger over Austin. She basically rearranged the entire wedding for me with a plan A, B, and C for EVERY part of the wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). I am so thankful I had Tara by my side through this process. She was available whenever I needed her, so prompt with responses, so clear and detailed when dealing with all of my vendors. I am so grateful for everything she did to make the day perfect for my guests and my husband and me!

Needless to say, I was frazzled by the switch and the idea of starting again from scratch with such little time, but after having my first consultation with Vanna, her confidence, professionalism, and organization skills put me completely at ease. Vanna fully understood my vision and took on the challenge of such a quick turnaround with zero hesitancy. Their planning process was seamless and Vanna was always one step ahead of the game. I was continuously impressed with how thorough they were, accounting for every detail from vendor timelines to alcohol orders to types of flower arrangements and everything in between. I thought I had a pretty good vision of what I wanted, but Vanna brought her creativity and made several suggestions that I would have never thought to consider, which elevated our event and took it to the next level. I was also extremely impressed with how she handled the uncertainty of Covid. Not only did she stay on top of all health regulations and new venue rules, but she also made me feel supported by always being my sounding board and listening ear. We are so thankful that our venue recommended that we connect with Vanna at Blue Sparrow Events. Working with Vanna was such a blessing as she is professional, passionate, organized and dedicated to what she does. From the vendor coordination, vision boards, to touch base meetings and running the day of logistics, it helped make the planning process seamless. I can say that I am somewhat of a perfectionist and had a specific vision for our wedding day, and Vanna was able to recommend the right vendors for us and collaborate with me to make that vision come to life. Having Vanna be the main point of contact allowed myself, my husband, and our parents to be in the moment on our special day. Where do we even begin! After reading the glamorous reviews about Vanna and her team we decided to give her a call - and we are so glad we did! After our first call with Vanna I felt as though we were already best friends. I went into wedding planning with a mental image of what I wanted things to look like, but with zero idea of how to make it happen. Vanna and Mia made every aspect of my vision come to life, and more. From site visits, vision boards, phone call and facetime meetings, Vanna held my hand throughout the entire process and made it so easy and fun. She helped me pick out all of our A+ vendors who ALL raved to us about how professional and outstanding Vanna and her team are to work with. It says a lot about a planner when every vendor in town is overjoyed to find out they get to work with her! Vanna knew what I wanted, even when I was unable to put into words exactly what I was thinking. She has such a great way of getting to know the brides style and helping make decisions that she knows the bride would love. I trusted her beyond measure. I frequently found myself just saying “you pick!” to things because I just knew that she would make the right choice for us. When we started planning the wedding, there was no covid. Halfway through when covid struck, of course, I hit panic mode. Vanna was my therapist during this time and immediately calmed my nerves. She knew all of the local laws and regulations regarding covid and weddings, worked closely with the venue coordinator to stay on top of their particular rules and requirements and all the while keeping my hopes and wishes at the forefront of the planning. Finally, two weeks before the wedding we had the guest count and the layout finished. It was at the time that we had an unexpected influx of RSVP’s! Vanna and Mia, calm cool and collected as always, went out to our venue multiple times on their own to re-do the floor plan to accommodate the extra guests and make it just as perfect as it was before. By the end of the wedding, all of our bridesmaids and groomsmen loved Vanna just as much as we did! At the end of the night, she came in to give my husband his tuxedo jacket that he had left in the reception area and ALL of our friends started chanting her name- It was epic! Vanna, Mia, and the Bluesparrow Events team are single handedly the best, most organized, most creative, sweetest, most put-together group of people I have ever met. We truly don’t have enough good things to say about them. We tell everyone we know that they are the only option when it comes to wedding planning! They planned and executed the wedding (and rehearsal dinner!) that I have always dreamed of and we couldn’t be more thankful to now call Vanna and Mia lifelong friends!

Hiring Vanna and her team at Blue Sparrow was one of the best decisions I made while planning our wedding. We only hired her for our day of coordination but she was still there every step of the planning process with recommendations and advice when I needed it. We also had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and she was so helpful in helping us organize and reach out to vendors for an easy transition to a new date. On the day of the wedding, I didn't worry about a single thing because I knew Vanna had a handle on everything. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day completely and had the best time. Working with Vanna was the second best decision I have ever made (second only to my husband and barely at that!). She is dedicated, creative, supportive, and makes your dreams hers as she creates the wedding you see in your head but do not know how to make happen or (if you're like me) even put into words. Vanna is somehow able to be exactly what you need at every step of wedding planning. She is clearly your teammate and advocate as she guides you through the world of weddings. I was never stressed or worried that things would not turn out because from the moment I met Vanna I knew things would be perfect. That trust was not misplaced. Vanna and her team are absolutely AMAZING!! When I first started wedding planning I noticed very quickly how overwhelming things can be. This is when I found Blue Sparrow Events. I initially reached out because I saw how beautiful their Instagram page was but after my first over the phone meeting, I knew I made the best decision of the whole wedding process. Vanna truly listens and walks you through every single step. She lays things out so perfectly so you won’t miss a step. Her readiness to help is unbelievable and her design skills are out of this world. I chose a venue 3hrs from my home so most of our planning had to be done via phone/email and let me just say I not once felt stressed or overwhelmed and I truly believe it’s all because of her and her team. Fast forward to the wedding day, seeing my dream wedding at Contigo Ranch come to life so beautifully was unreal. If I could relive the whole entire process I would. I don’t feel like many people can truly say that but Blue Sparrow Events is simply the best. They are fun/hardworking/dedicated/talented ladies and I’m blessed I got to have them bring my dreams to life.

I literally don't think my wedding would have come together without Vanna...truly! She was with my fiance and I throughout every step of the wedding process, and assisted us in every decision and detail. The idea of planning a wedding really intimidated me and stressed me out, so it was invaluable to have someone that I trusted to make it all happen. We clicked with Vanna from the beginning, so working with her in the wedding planning process was really enjoyable. The Blue Sparrow Team is lovely, and I can't recommend them enough! The best vendor decision we made!

Vanna is truly such an incredible person. Her + Mia did such an amazing job making our special day perfect. I met Vanna through work - I'm a venue manager here in Austin. I knew I wanted to hire the moment I met her, even though we weren't engaged yet. At the start of the process Vanna sent over a guide full of recommendations from timeline guidelines, vendor references, and even tipping recommendations. She was so supportive throughout the process and was available for the smallest and the biggest decisions. She also did an amazing job managing vendor communication, especially the month of the wedding. She took over and made sure to prioritize us (me + the groom) not having to worry about the stress of planning so we could enjoy the last weeks of being engaged. Another reason why Vanna stands out is because of her attention to detail and her ability to make decisions in the moment. I know first hand from working weddings that a lot of small things come up throughout the day, and how your coordinator manages those details can have a huge impact. A lot of brides don’t see those things happening, but that’s because you aren’t supposed to when you have a good coordinator. It was truly the best day of our lives, and we are so thankful we had Vanna + Mia there to make that happen. If you are still hesitant to hire Blue Sparrow Events: I have worked with many coordinators and I can tell you with full confidence as a fellow vendor and bride that you will not find any one better than Vanna.

If we could give 6 stars we would. Vanna is the complete package. We had a lot of hurdles to get through with our wedding, and Vanna was so ready to accommodate. She went above and beyond in so many ways. We can honestly say our wedding would not been as smooth if it weren't for all of her hard work. Stop your search here! Vanna is a true gem!!! We love working with her at weddings, not only does she make the day run so smoothly she continuously radiates joy throughout the whole day! Did an amazing and quick job rescheduling our bride’s wedding day during covid-19! We couldn’t be more thankful!

I have struggled to write this review only because it is difficult to put into words how unbelievably amazing Vanna is. So let me try to break this down. As someone who has done event/project management in my career I was immediately on the fence about even working with a wedding planner who could meet my high expectations. Vendors in general struggle to set expectations, be responsive, understand needs, communicate timely, document and organize communication but not Vanna. She does ALL OF IT PERFECTLY. She gets to know you, break down your wants/needs, understands what vendors can accommodate and bring your dream to life. She has a taste for design, she knows what will look classy and elegant or fun and vibrant. She took all of our ideas and crazy asks from fireball jello shots to drag queens, cotton candy cocktails and everything else and made it happen. She was incredibly organized and I was so impressed with her project management skills, it was insane! At the end of the day, she made us feel at ease, and not worried, as we went through the process and on the day of. She's become a friend and someone who will always hold a special place in our lives. I just cannot say enough CHOOSE VANNA. I would hire her in my company 10x over, she is truly a top professional and an all around incredible person. She is the perfect planner.

For any fellas reading these reviews (or Brides concerned about their grooms being reluctant participants in the planning process), Vanna & Blue Sparrow Events ("BSE") made wedding planning an enjoyable process. My wife and I hired BSE for the full-service planning and design. She pulled everything off in about 6 months. Working with Vanna is so easy because she is an extremely organized, an incredible listener, and genius visionary. She was able to take implement my wife's vision on a granular level to the point that every detail of our wedding from the ceremony, all the way down to the votives (YES-she taught me what a votive was!) said something about who we are as individuals and as a couple. She was on top of every aspect and was able to anticipate the questions and concerns of the other vendors at the outset so that nothing was left in question. As a groom, I was hesitant to be involved in the planning meetings. But Vanna knew exactly when to include me and when to (politely) let me know that I could tune out. I was grateful for that because it allowed me to support my wife through the stressful planning process without getting in over my head (or bored out of my mind!). In the end, I never saw my wife happier than on our wedding day. It has been over two months and still not a day goes by that she doesn't bring up a memory from that day. If this all sounds like a typical review, I should note that we planned the wedding from over 1,000 miles away. My wife and I live in Denver and got married in Austin. Additionally, Vanna had never planned a wedding at our venue (Villa Antonia) before. So, Vanna didn't just execute the perfect wedding, she did so at a venue she was (1) unfamiliar with, and (2) by working around the schedule of two busy attorneys who live in a different timezone. She was integral in helping schedule weekend meetings with vendors and late evening Skype calls to talk about the wedding. Vanna can literally do it all. I mean it when I say our wedding would not have been possible without Vanna and her BSE team. I could not recommend someone more.

To Vanna: If I could relive everything about my wedding day over and over and over again, I would. Philip and I had the most magical black-tie wedding affair of our lives. To the people scoping out Vanna: I was indecisive from the very beginning, but my lovely groom new Vanna was the gal for us. I had words to describe what I wanted on my wedding day, but almost no inkling as to how to make it happen. I wanted elegant, romantic and intimate. Vanna knew exactly which vendors would work with our personalities, she was flexible when we wanted things to be changed (even last minute), she was INCREDIBLY KIND AND CONSISTENT. She does not leave any page left unturned. Vanna is so mature, professional and an incredible visionary. My husband and I both often worked late nights and Vanna would accommodate us with early morning and late night calls. She also executed everything incredibly, even considering the fact that we were planning the wedding from Denver, Colorado. When you work so closely with someone who deeply cares about what they do and want you to feel completely satisfied and fulfilled - the only way to feel is like you are planning your wedding with one of your best friends. Lastly, Vanna is alway certain to put the bride and grooms desires above all because the way she says it - "It's your day, you get to do what you want!"

I was the girl who thought the last thing I needed was a wedding coordinator. I was relatively resistant to that idea but my venue required a month of coordinator. I had no idea where to start but I work out with Vanna and had heard great things and age was available that weekend so the rest is history! Let me just say this, BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE! Vanna and blue sparrow events was hands down the most essential part of what turned out to be an amazing wedding night. It alleviated 99% of my stress to have her there. I’m very much a “do it myself” kind of person but I had no idea how much I needed Vanna. She knows weddings like a chef knows food. She covered every base, was completely on top of every detail and most importantly, made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. She truly went above and beyond. I wish Vanna could run my life. I cannot say enough positive things about Vanna and my wedding coordination with Blue Sparrow Events. I knew Vanna would be my girl when she suggested we have our first "meet" over martinis downtown. She did not disappoint. From the moment we met, I appreciated her "take charge" attitude, attention to detail and organization. I have a demanding career and a husband (then fiancé ) on active duty overseas in the Army. I had no desire to spend hours on Pinterest or interviewing potential vendors. What I needed and requested from Vanna was help editing and executing my vision and a team of trusted vendors hand selected from her personal experience to help her do it. Throughout the entire process Vanna was my rock. Her timelines and task lists kept us on top of all deadlines and important decisions. When I was feeling all alone in the world with a deployed fiancé , Vanna would always be there to check in. When I couldn't get away from work to make decisions on linens and table service, my sweet Vanna went for me and kept me part of the process through FaceTime and photos. My biggest concern in hiring a wedding planner was having someone force ideas or suggestions on me or try to fit me into some sort of wedding mold. With Vanna, that couldn't be further from the truth. Vanna is a "yes" woman! She is creative and warm and willing to spend hours down the rabbit hole of whatever idea you have to see if it is possible. She will move mountains to tailor your vision into reality (even if it involves library books and face painters). Her professionalism and communication are both beyond her years. Vanna was worth every penny. My big day was absolutely magical and even better, I had zero stress or worry. All I had to do was live in the moment and be in love.

Vanna with Blue Sparrow Events did an amazing job with our wedding! She listened to my vision and pieced everything together in ways that I couldn't. Another plus was that I was planning my wedding in Austin while living in Nashville. She easily coordinated with my mom to take care of tasks that I couldn't while living out of state. I was especially impressed with how seamless the transitions were during the reception. She went above and beyond to think of all the small details. Highly recommend!

Hiring Vanna was hands down the BEST decision we could have made in planning our wedding. From the moment I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was the one I wanted to work with. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and excited throughout the entire planning process. I can honestly say that I would not have been able to pull off my wedding without Blue Sparrow Events. Not only is Vanna extremely organized and detailed, but she has an extensive knowledge of the industry and great eye for design! Vanna made sure we had a bullet proof timeline, that all of our vendors were on the same page, and in the end that all of our decorations and design choices were put together flawlessly. She made our vision come to life and was not afraid to warn us when we were going off of the rails or trying to take on too much. The first thing I recommend to anyone who is getting engaged is to hire BSE (if available!) because it is absolutely worth every penny!

As the mother of the bride I was looking at every detail of my daughters wedding. Vanna did an excellent job keeping my daughter, and groom, on track. She gave them monthly tasks to complete each month and followed up on them to keep them organized (I live out of state). The day of the wedding she was a task master at the venue, keeping ALL vendors coordinated and moving. She was prepared the day of the wedding when pouring rain moved the ceremony indoors, changing floral arrangements, seating, bars, etc. It would not have been the great wedding it was if not for Vanna and her team.

Vanna was our wedding planner on 4/6/2019 at Springdale Station. As the fiance, now husband, I was so incredibly impressed with how our wedding planning was handled. Not sure where to begin, but I'll start by saying my wedding wouldn't have been perfect if we didn't have Vanna. She covers every last detail and gave me every tip in the book to make sure our special day didn't have a single hiccup and also so I didn't spend the day stressed out. Dream Wedding Achieved My daughter and her fiance are excellent planners; however, we would not have wanted to manage such an important event on our own. Enter Vanna from Blue Sparrow Events. From our first meeting, we were confident in Vanna's ability to listen to our vision, respect our choices (and our budget!), and attend to all pre-wedding and wedding day details. Weeks before the event, Vanna emailed us a detailed to-do list, which helped us corral last minute items and make final decisions. She reviewed our vendor contracts and spotted a few details that we had overlooked, which helped to ensure that we contracted for exactly what we wanted and needed. It was literally the best day and weekend of my life! Vanna’s attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, insured that Megan will always look back on her wedding with a huge smile, and the knowledge that she would not change a single thing. Using ‘absolute’ terms, like ‘always’ and never’, are usually exaggerations to some extent, however my daughter and I have reflected on her recent wedding together, and we both agree that it is fair and reasonable for us to describe it as ‘perfect’…in large part thanks to Vanna. The venue is always essential to the quality of a wedding experience, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather, at a breathtaking resort, however Vanna made sure that our wonderful ‘canvas’ was painted beautifully by coordinating everything from the decorations, to the food and beverage, to the entertainment, to the flow and schedule of the individual events which made up the overall ceremony, to the point of my daughter’s joy, and…’perfection’. As a father of a daughter who I love more than I love life itself, I cannot place a value on the quality of experience that my daughter Megan, and our most appreciative family, were blessed to enjoy … and our experience was ‘priceless’, while at the same time being an excellent ‘price/value’ dynamic. Where do I even begin?! Vanna was simply a GODSEND for my daughter and me in the planning of her wedding. The first time we met Vanna, I KNEW we'd made the right decision to have her lead us through this journey. Vanna is one of the sweetest, most organized, dedicated, hard-working, eager-to-please-but-all-the-while-making-sure-you-make-a-good-decision! people I've ever met. I was skeptical at first about hiring a coordinator for more than just the day of. My mom and I are pretty creative people and we love putting things together for parties, so we knew my wedding would be so fun to plan together. We also are both slightly "control freaks" so the idea of letting someone else take the reigns scared us just a bit ;). My mom found BSE through a friend who was using their services the same time we were. My mom really trusted this person and what they had to say about BSE, so we decided to meet with her to discuss her coordinating our day. When I met Vanna, I was blown away with how professional, detail-oriented, down to earth, and EXPERIENCED she was. Just within the first 5 minutes of talking with her I knew she had her stuff together, and I also knew she would be incredibly easy and fun to work with. I was NOT wrong. We ended up having her not only as our day of coordinator, but also as our coordinator 6 weeks prior to the big day...even though she technically helped us all along the way...because she is incredible! I am so happy I made this decision. After a couple of meeting with her I joked with my mom that we should have just had her throw us a surprise wedding because that's how much we trusted her. I thought I was going to be such a control freak along the way, but that was not the case. I totally trusted Vanna in every step of the wedding planning process. She is SERIOUSLY on top of her game and leaves no details behind and no question or request is stupid to her, she truly has your best interest at heart. One other thing I would like to mention is how much my (now) in-laws came to love her. They throw parties all the time and did not see why we needed a wedding coordinator, but they have said numerous times after our big day how incredible BSE was and how our wedding was the most magical wedding ever because of them. Seriously, them, my parents, and all of our guests are still RAVING about how magical, stress-free, and FUN our day was. She went out of her way MANY times to make not only me or my groom comfortable and happy, but also my parents, his parents, and our entire bridal party. We still have no idea how she does it, but I'm so freaking thankful that she does. BSE, you are INCREDIBLE and I WILL recommend you to every future bride I will encounter! Guys, can we talk about something...smooth wedding much? Vanna and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our special day went off without a hitch. Blue Sparrow Events did our 'day-of' coordination and our only regret was not having them be our 'month-of' coordinators as they were such a joy to work with. I have been thinking of what I was going to say when I wrote this review since the very first day I met Vanna a year ago..so this may be verrrryy long. I quickly found Vanna after searching through planners online. I never found anyone I was interested in hiring or anyone that I clicked with, until I came across Blue Sparrow Events. When I came across Vanna's Instagram page and website, I knew right away she was the person I was going to hire for the most important day of my life. When researching through other wedding planners, no one else's portfolio, instagram page, website, work ethic, passionate and bubbly personality even came close to Vanna's. I never thought I would meet someone who was more detail oriented, creative, and as much as a perfectionist as I am. Because of this she quickly became someone I knew I wanted to have with me on my wedding day. From the beginning of our first interaction, It was clear that Vanna was going to do anything she could do to make this day perfect for my husband and I...and she did. Hiring Vanna was THE BEST decision I made when planning my wedding. I wanted to hire a planner that allowed me to express my creativity and organizational skills, while amplifying it with their own. Someone who had all these type A personality traits, but with a calm demeanor. Vanna was all of the above. She was someone who I was able to put 100% trust in, even though I am someone who loves to be in control. When I began my wedding planning process I never thought I would be standing with any of my vendors 2 weeks before my wedding saying "Honestly, just do whatever you think." or "I trust you with whatever decisions need to be made, or whatever you think looks best" Because...being a perfectionist, thats usually not something I say, haha. It was such a relief to have found Vanna, and be able to completely relax on my wedding day (and the days prior) knowing that she was the one making everything perfect and run smoothly. Every step along the way, she was there to make suggestions, decisions, tell me her opinion, communicate with vendors, and let us know information I would have never known on my own. Fast forward to my wedding day, and she impressed me (and my family) even more than I thought was possible. Vanna took charge, and made everything fun, beautiful and absolutely perfect for us. I seriously had family members coming up to me at my wedding telling me how impressed they were with my wedding planner. My mom told me the day after the wedding how perfect Vanna was for me as a planner, and that she could tell the whole day that Vanna was not going to let anything go wrong or let me down. To say that Vanna went above and beyond for me and my new husband is an understatement. With the help of my other wedding vendors (that Vanna quickly started developing relationships with) every dream I had about my wedding day came true.
