o what my daughter wanted and because she knows the shop's inventory so well, they found a lot of dresses to try on. It wasn't long before we found The One! Thank you, Victoria, for making the experience fun and successful.

ing experience! I went on a Thursday and I had the salon to myself for almost my entire appointment so it was almost like a private shopping experience. I definitely recommend shopping on a weekday if possible because the whole bridal district is much more calm during the week. Thank you Blush and Jaimie!

She was respectful of my budget and would check if a dress she recommended for me was okay price-wise before even letting me try it on (the ones she recommended outside of my price range were only ~$150 over and I had told her I was flexible). She knows her stuff, and while I ended up purchasing a dress at another boutique, Colleen was a definite highlight of my dress shopping experience. 10/10 would recommend!

To be honest, I had to go sleep on it for a night before returning the next day to purchase, and I appreciate that. I have never been one to make a big decision on the spot. My mom, mother-in-law, friends and I had so much fun working with Jami that I think we will be returning in the future for my friends' wedding dress even though we all live in Indianapolis! I can't recommend this place enough!

The dress Jodi pulled for me, I probably would not have tried on. But I absolutely adored it and felt beautiful in it, so I knew it was probably the one. I slept on it, then went back the next day to purchase the dress and my veil. All the girls were so helpful and I looked forward to wearing that dress for over a year. She really listened to what I wanted in a dress and looked through all of my pictures, whether they were from designers Blush carried or not. The other salon I went to did not bother to give me any details about the dresses I tried on. I can't wait until I get to go back and pick up my dress when it comes in.

One of the first gowns she pulled was completely different than what I thought I wanted and I wouldn’t have pulled it myself, but it ended up being the one! the dresses that I was trying on in the store are sized for a 4-6 body type. While I understand the limitations of inventory, it is very demoralizing to be squeezing into dresses with the sales associate putting expanders across your back to get the dress to stay on. When I expressed my disappointment, I was told something along the lines of "well you're actually pretty lucky, a lot of girls are much bigger then you and they just have to imagine what the dress looks like". While that may be true, the sentiment and the delivery were not what was needed in that moment. The overall energy of the shopping experience aside, the store is very nice and has a beautiful selection of dresses. I ended up buying my dress as well as some additional mesh and appliques in order to add sleeves. This is where things went wrong - to put a long story short, two colors of mesh were needed to be ordered in order to blend in with the main part of the dress. The sales associate only ordered one of the colors, and therefore it did not match the dress and led to the sleeves having a different base tone than the torso. Unfortunately, since I do not live in Cincinnati my mom picked up the dress and therefore had to sign the contract that 'everything seemed to be in order and Blush is not responsible for any difference in color, size, etc.' When she expressed concerns that the mesh didn't match, she was 'guaranteed' that it did. I know that she should have pushed harder, but still it is disappointing that this was not identified by the Blush team when the dress and mesh came in. The root cause of the problem (the needing to order two meshes) was eventually identified by the seamstress who added the sleeves onto my dress. Thank goodness the seamstress had the second color in stock, otherwise I would have been much more upset. Overall... my experience was fine. Not great, not particularly fun, but I loved the dress in the end and I found their prices to be fair. Be sure to double check everything you order when you pick up your product and review the fine print before signing the contracts.

h was actually something completely different then what I thought I wanted! I was AMAZED that she was able to help me narrow down my thinking as much as she did. It gave me a lot of clarity when I was loosing hope as to what I wanted. She ended up sending me to Blush because she thought the dress I would want would be there. When I had arrived, the worker, Jamie, had already spoken to Amanda and she had pulled five dresses based on their phone conversation. The first one I tried on was the one I bought! I was shocked that between the two stores I was able to find my dress in under three hours. It felt so welcoming and warming that the two shops worked together to help me find my dress. Would highly recommend this shop, the workers, and the district as a whole! :)

All three times Jamie was amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to learn your style and suggest dresses for you. Do yourself a favor and call Jamie at Blush Bridal she is seriously the best to work with!

Finally, she convinced me to try it on... and of course it is the dress I left with! Jami has a great eye and she is SO personable. Jami, also has a great sense of the wedding industry. Through talking with her she was able to recommend cake bakeries, florists and more! Fast forward to when my dress came in, we noticed a stain on it in store from the designer (imagine my panic)! Blush Bridal's team was quick to remedy the situation by promptly reaching out to the designer and working with them to determine next steps. I received the next dress promptly and it turned out absolutely beautiful.

to help me evaluate my feelings about each dress, and made my entire party feel welcomed. We were relaxed, laughing, and smiling for the whole 3 hours we were there. I found THE dress and couldn't be happier! My first appointment at Bridal and Formal was terrible because the consultant didn't listen to me. Here, I was heard and as the appointment went on she just got better and better at understanding my vision and style. Her expertise and insight helped guide me to hone in on my likes and dislikes. I had a list of dresses I knew I wanted to try on and Colleen pulled all of them for me without trying to force other dresses. My appointment went over and they didn't say a word about it, didn't rush us once, and I was able to also choose a veil and hair pin, and get measurements done. The day before my appointment I got a call from Jami so she could get to know me and what I wanted. We spent almost 20 minutes on the phone and she treated me like I was her only bride. This was such an amazing touch and made me feel very special. Several of my bridesmaids said this is where they will come to buy their wedding dress when the time comes. I cannot recommend them more! From start to finish my experience was picture perfect, every bride deserves to be treated this well and feel this good on their dress shopping day. So excited to go back again when my dress comes in!

f the dresses were ordered in single digit sizes, probably 4s & 6s because the consultant wouldn’t tell me sizes & I’m a 12 in wedding dresses, so they were all half open & revealing at the same time...while I was standing in the front window! There were also only 4 racks of dresses, & my consultant immediately began pulling dresses after asking what I liked without even letting me look. She also never asked my name or told me hers, I made it a point to ask her name before I got completely naked with this random girl. I also was just handed my dresses & made to get the tiny things on myself, which was awfully hard. None of them were clipped, my consultant either held them herself so she was always in my mirror or just let me go free so I was clutching the top to my chest since I was on display. The bridal pedestals were lightweight & not even attached to anything—I almost bit it stepping off of one when it tipped! It felt very unprofessional. Overall, I do not recommend scheduling an appointment here because they are just people hired into the position, not professional bridal stylists.

h the prospect of trying on dresses in front of a crowd, being pressured by salespeople, and generally doing very girly things that I'm not used to doing, the staff really excelled at making me feel as comfortable as possible. They were willing to joke with me and let me take my sweet old time. One of the ladies knew my venue and asked me to try on a dress that would go perfectly with the venue, but wasn't the style I had in mind (blush and floral as opposed to white and plain). It fit me perfectly and I was so enamored that I came back and bought it the next day. They worked with my schedule when the dress was ready to pick up (I'm from Columbus) which was an added bonus. It was such a great experience from start to finish. They never pressured me and ultimately had the expertise to help me find the perfect dress.

o alterations, all I had to do was get it hemmed and have some cups sewn in! My wedding was last month, and I am still hearing wonderful things about the dress. Overall, I had the most amazing experience at Blush. These ladies are extremely professional and so great at their jobs!!

chased the dress, that was where the customer service ended. When I picked up the dress, I felt like the staff couldn't be bothered to put more effort into the appointment than was required. It seemed like because they had already made the sale that they didn't really care anymore. A few weeks later, I was looking at my wedding dress at home and noticed fingerprints on the back of the dress near the zipper, like someone had not washed their hands before handling the dress. I called the shop, but they made it seem like I was crazy for suggesting that one of them made a mistake, even though the fingerprints were way too small to belong to either me or my mom. Luckily, my seamstress was able to get the spots out, but I am very shocked at how the shop didn't seem to have any remorse for soiling my dress. As I was putting on my gown on my wedding day, I noticed that there was a section of the lining, where the bodice meets the skirt, that hadn't been sewn together. The dress was beautiful on the outside; I just wish the inside had been of a similar quality and that the overall experience hadn't been so frustrating. I would not recommend this shop to anyone if they are looking for a shop that will care for them beyond the day they try on dresses.

ul! She understood right from the start what I was invisioning and even helped educate us along the way (like what horsehair meant) so that I could explain what I wanted at other appointments I had. I felt very comfortable letting her know what I liked and didn’t like about each dress. When I found the one I LOVED but had an issue with it being strapless, she came out with every possible way to fix my dilemma. So much so, that she contacted stores in the area looking for what I wanted (and illusion topper). She knew this would be my dream dress and she made it happen! The sole reason I didn’t give the rating a 5 Star was due to the fact it took a little while to get a copy of my contract and the designer took a while as well to communicate to Blush. I knew I was in good hands but it did put me a little on edge. I ended up getting everything about 3 weeks later so I’m all set! Very great experience and I would suggest them to anyone else as well!

ly and accommodating and by the end of my appointment, I had found my dress. Now, this sample dress was in a size 8. Fit me beautifully and made me feel like the perfect bride! I was measured and told to buy a size 14 so it'd fit properly. Now, I understand designers run differently, bridal sizes are different etc. However, if I try on an 8 from a designer I would've expected an 8 or even 10 to be ordered. After questioning this size many times and explaining my concerns, I was told this would be the right size. Fast forward to this past week. 3 weeks before my wedding, their reccomended seamstress informed me at our now 3rd appointment, she CANNOT bring in the dress to fit how it did in shop and after showing her pictures of how in fit in the store, and her asking the size, she agreed and said this size was not the size that should've been ordered. She also stated to make it more form fitting around the hip and butt area( the original fit in store) it would effect either the flare of the dress or take away from my train to be brought in how it was in store. After pinning it and showing me i decided against it and to just sacrifice the bottom half of the dress. Then the manager of this store called the seamstress (trying to help) telling her to bring it in at the legs when I had specifically just told the seamstress not to. She brought it in anyways. So I go in a few days later for my now 4th appointment. The dress is unrecognizable at this point. So tight at the bust I broke and ripped the dress. So tight at the hips to thigh I couldnt even get in the dress by myself. Then the waist was left untouched. Rouched in the mid section where it was once flat and fitted in the shop and now raised up almost 2 inches at the bottom hem exposing my ankles. Completely unwearable. And at 18 days before the wedding, I don't have time to waste anymore. So the next day, today, I went to blush to explain whats happening and how dissatisfied I am with literally every aspect. From their size they assured me to get and would fit properly, to their promises of what could be taken in by the seamstress that actually can not be done. No owner or manager was present so I started dress shopping. I found a dress in store to possibly trade in for their mishap, then went to other salons just in case. During my time in these salons I explained and apologized for coming in without an appointment and how I needed a dress today. Every. Single. Shop owner I encountered agreed and said that size should've never been ordered if the 8 fit perfectly in store but MAYBE ordering a 10 to be safe. My seamstress was called and notified I was dress shopping and asked me to come in. I arrived an hour later and went over the dress again for our now 5th meeting. After 2 hours we had completely cut down the dress and repinned the entire thing back together to attempt a better fit. During this time she again told me how much work this had been because of the size difference, she has cut off 7 inches now from the original size down to my current size, and also told me normal alterations are about 3 trips. definitely not 5 and 6. I left feeling better, but ultimately due to restrictions of having ordered such a large dress, the dress can not be made to be how the size 8 was. The owner of Blush Bridal finally called me back 6 hours later, and after telling me this is not her fault, that she ordered the correct size and after me informing her of all the details and what their seamstress has told me, how the dress will not fit how it was supposed to, she gave me the "I'm right, your wrong" story. She told me she can not go off of sizes, because they're all different. Im sorry but a certain designers size 8...is their size 8. and that the cut of each dress is different so it wasn't going to fit how it did in the shop and they never would've guaranteed such. Now maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that was the ENTIRE purpose of having sample gowns in stock to try on. Is to get the fit of each dress. If i go into target, try on a dress. Like that size/style/fit of said dress, And I go home and order that same dress online, it will be how it was in store correct? yes. . the owner then tried to remedy the situation and go "above and beyond" by offering to cover $95 worth of alterations when I've now spent $2,000 on the dress ($510 alone in alterations and thats with the seamstress feeling bad for my situation and has stopped charging me) A complete insult and a shameful way to conduct a buisness in my point of view. I wouldnt reccomend this shop to anyone as I would never want a bride to experience what I have.

I ended up finding it on my first visit, but then took 2 months to decide the dress was right for me. When I came back in to try it on again, Jami was again wonderful and gave me essentially red carpet treatment with the fully private upstairs parlor area. For my final try-on after coming to my senses and saying "Yes" to the dress I had been thinking about for 2 months, I worked with Colleen who was so great with suggesting veil and accessory options, even taking pictures on my phone for me to send to my mom. All of the ladies at Blush Bridal are so sweet and helpful, and I would highly recommend them to any bride. I'm so excited to pick up my dress in September!

My girls had some pics of styles they were interested in looking at, an idea of a budget, and an openness to take suggestions from the experts. When my daughter walked out after trying on just her second dress we all knew this was the perfect one to make her the most beautiful bride on her special day! Lindsey also helped us to accent the dress with a beautiful beaded belt and a headpiece. Since she said "Yes to the dress" she also was given a veil to go with her dress. We could not have asked for a better experience...we were made to feel like we were part of the Blush Bridal family but more importantly my daughter the bride to be felt like a million! Every little girl dreams of growing up and marrying the man of their dreams while wearing the perfect dress on their special day.
