o I scheduled everything over email, with the trial appointments two days before the wedding because we wouldn’t be in the area any sooner. There was an issue with the scheduling of both the trial and final appointments. The times they had in their schedule didn’t line up exactly with the ones I was given by email, with the trial time running later than expected and the day of appointment starting about an hour earlier. When I was there, the service I received was amazing. The salon itself was clean and bright. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hair stylist was able to quickly match a picture I’d provided perfectly, and my updo was still totally secure when I took it down at 2 am after dancing all night. For makeup, I had less of a specific idea of what I wanted. She was able to look at some inspiration pictures and come up with something I loved. It also stayed put throughout the whole day, which included an outdoor photo session in 90 degree weather. I received numerous complements on both the hair and makeup, with a specific comment being that they’d made me looked polished, but still like myself, which was what I was hoping for. Overall, aside from the scheduling miscommunication, my experience here was fantastic.

great suggestions on what would look best on me. I also had my makeup done by Anuhea and she was really listened to what I wanted (more glitter) and made me look glam, but still very natural. I loved working with both of them as they were super friendly and had great attention to detail. I would highly recommend!

d about my acne scars, and the makeup covered them without looking overdone. You can't even tell in my pictures! More than that, one of my bridesmaids was in a car accident a few days before the wedding, and was fine (thank god! ) except for a cut on her cheek and a black eye. The salon was so kind to her and again, you wouldn't know otherwise! We had a fun and comfortable time getting ready and even my groom was able to clean up his eyebrows. The peace of mind that they gave us was worth double the price. Highly recommend!

tments in January based on the time my wedding was scheduled and to make sure I got the times I needed. I have confirmation emails confirming the times of our appointments. However, the day of my wedding, my hair appointment was bumped 45 minutes for a bridesmaid of another bridal party. I never agreed to this change and the front desk told me that's when it was scheduled for. That was completely false. As I said, I booked the appointments in January and had emails confirming the time. The bridesmaid I was bumped for was from a bridal party of 14 girls. I'm sure what happened is that they bumped my appointment without telling me so they could accommodate a big money group. It's frustrating because I ended up being 45 minutes late to my own wedding and the salon really didn't seem to see why that was an issue. They could have discounted my services, offered a coupon, SOMETHING to try and make up for it. The reason I gave another star is because my hair and makeup did come out BEAUTIFUL. Sarah and Brittany did an amazing job and were both apologetic for my situation. I can't blame them for whoever made the shady appointment change. I think it's only fair to share my story with future brides. I feel like I was treated unfairly because we only had two people in our party and not 15. Every second of your wedding day is precious, making a bride 45 minutes late to her own wedding is not ok.

I had a great experience with Idun. I purchased a package which included a practice hair and make-up session, wedding hair and makeup and a cheese and fruit buffet. It was great!...

My hair looked beautiful but my makeup was very heavy. My advice is to ask your bridesmaids to be brutally honest and tell you if something doesn't look right! I would definitely recommend Idun to anyone although it's a bit pricey! My package was $200.
