I had a great experience working with Blushed by Brink for my wedding this past week. Tarah was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions when booking, and she helped me pick the package that worked best for my wedding party. Before my trial, Tarah communicated that my lead artist backed out of my wedding day, and in the same email, she let me know that she found a replacement lead artist and was personally going to serve as the second artist. I was appreciative that Tarah resolved this issue so professionally and that she found a solution before I was even aware of the problem. I loved working with Kim as my lead artist - she listened to what I envisioned, was super open to making modifications based on feedback I gave after my trial, and did such an amazing job with both my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Both Tarah and Kim also did a great job with hair/makeup for our moms and with hair for my bridesmaids, and I would highly recommend working with them for your own wedding!

Tarah & Madison were the makeup artists for our April 2023 wedding- a fantastic sister duo! From communication leading up to the day to execution of my and each wedding party's hair and makeup vision, we had an amazing experience. Each person, no matter their age, style or glam level, looked like the best version of themselves. That's what I loved most about BBB's style- I still looked like me, but a glam me. I’m friends with Tarah’s sister, so naturally, I just HAD to book them as my wedding MUA! I did a makeup trial and bridal preview, prior to my wedding. Tarah is such a sweetheart and bada$$ mom - we could talk for hours! I ended up doing both hair & makeup with blushedbybrink. The entire team made me and my girls feel so comfortable and beautiful. Tarah was a fantastic make-up and hair artist for my wedding! We were planning on a relatively short time frame, and I was so lucky that she had availability on our date. Everything from first connecting with her, to the trial, to the wedding day was perfect. She did such a great job on my hair and makeup - I have never felt so beautiful!! Tarah and her team also did hair/makeup for my sister, mom, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law. They all looked and felt beautiful. Honestly, I was so nervous to book a vendor I had never met from long distance and WOW was I pleasantly surprised! Tarah is amazing and she has a very well run business! She came with her own full setup with table and all and she and her employee Nina did such a fantastic job! Makeup and hair for 6 girls in a timely manner at our Airbnb, I felt like a queen! I LOVED my hair - and it looked so cool in all our pictures. And my makeup was so perfect, and different than what I was used to - and I loved it so much that I asked for the products she used so I could recreate the look and incorporate them into my daily routine! Can't say enough great things about Tarah and her crew!!!

Tarah did great work on my wedding makeup & that of my bridal party, but honestly was a bit high strung. She brought stress into my special day. COVID understandably was part of my big day, but she was the only vendor that made a big deal about it. If you are a very COVID cautious bride type A personality, Tarah is an awesome vendor for you and I would absolutely recommend. If you are more of a Type B person, I would recommend you interview your potential vendors over face time to get a quick vibe check first 😊

I would hire Blushedbybrink over and over again. They were beyond AMAZING. Tarah is always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions or concerns I had throughout the whole process. We had a bridesmaid who couldn't make it to the wedding because she came down with COVID the night before and Tarah worked with us on altering the schedule. On the day of the wedding, the ladies arrived on time. Madison did my bridal hair and makeup and she did a phenomenal job. I had changed a few things after my bridal preview with her and she did exactly what I was looking for and it turned out perfect. I loved working with Blushed by Brink on my wedding day! They did a phenomenal job on my wedding hair and makeup - I received so many compliments and felt like a princess all night. I reached out to Tarah because a friend of mine looked so naturally glamorous at her wedding that I wanted that same type of style at my wedding. From the first contact, Tarah was so helpful and provided me with tips on finding hair extensions, etc. Madison was my stylist for my big day. The trial was so perfectly what I envisioned and Madison and Tarah both made me feel so comfortable and special. On my wedding day, I threw Madison a couple of curveballs that she handled so well. One of those was the head jewelry I wanted out in my hair… WITH HAIR EXTENSIONS! She not only did it, my hair and the jewelry looked flawless all night long. My mom also loved the way she looked. From the moment I inquired, Tarah was punctual and professional. Everything was very straight forward, and she was so helpful! Tarah did my hair and makeup for my July ’21 wedding and I could not have been more happy with the services provided. I initially picked Tarah because she had such strong communication compared to some other vendors I was speaking with. She responded clearly, promptly, and in detail to all my questions - all the time. This proved to be super helpful going though this pandemic year+ as she kept reaching out with updates and in the hectic weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure we had our plan for the big day. I booked Tarah before having a hair and makeup trial, which I was initially hesitant to do. However, she was able to answer all my questions about the trial thoroughly and I was satisfied to go ahead. On the day of the trial, we tried one look that didn’t quite work out at first, but Tarah worked with me and made adjustments until I was happy, carefully listening to every detail about what I liked or didn’t like, and taking note of it so we got it right on the big day. On the wedding day, Tarah and team had such a fun but calm energy and were so easy to be around. Everything went smoothly and my whole party was happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. I highly recommend Tarah’s services to anyone looking for an excellent hair and makeup artist! I should also mention that during all services, I always felt comfortable COVID-wise. Tarah is extremely talented and one of the best makeup and hair artists I have ever worked with. We used her for both our engagement pictures and for our wedding day. She was able to manage our large (very picky) bridal party, with several different requested styles, and was extremely professional and easy to work with. She suggested hair and makeup styles that she thought would go well with my dress, and for our engagement session recommended a warm color palette which I never knew would complement my skin tone so well! I booked BlushedbyBrink for my wedding over a year ago that was supposed to be for my wedding back in May of 2020. However, with the world in a rut and weddings being pushed, after a few new dates my new March 2021 wedding finally happened. Tarah was very accommodating and had no trouble at all with all the date changes that were made. More importantly she did some amazing work on my girls and myself for the big day. The airbrush make up lasted all night and then some. I asked for a very natural neutral color and that's exactly what I got. I also changed the hairstyle that I wanted last minute as well and it turned out better than I expected for a last minute change.

Blushed by Brink is absolutely unmatched! We had the pleasure of working with Madison for our 3/13 wedding and we could not have been more impressed, elated, and more than anything grateful for her services. She is not only INCREDIBLY talented when it comes to makeup and design, but really takes the time to listen to what your vision is, and molds it into her own. She is by far the most talented makeup artist I’ve ever encountered and I cannot sing her praises loud enough. I’ve had a few bad experiences with hairstyles prior to seeing Tarah. My wedding was a month away and I still didn’t have a make up artist, nor a hairstylist! We were able to schedule a trial within 10 days and the part that I loved most is that she really listened to what I liked and didn’t like, what I was looking for and worked with me until we got the look I desired. I very rarely write reviews but I wanted to write one for Blushed By Brink to let everyone know how simply AMAZING they are!! Tarah was so responsive and helpful leading up to the day of the wedding! Then, on the day of the wedding she totally nailed it. Everyone that got their hair & makeup done absolutely loved their look (which is definitely saying something for my picky family). Also, because of Covid I decided not to have a hair/ makeup trial- however they totally nailed my bridal look! I’ve never felt more beautiful. In addition to that I felt safe & comfortable with their safety precautions during times of Covid. They were also super flexible - because we had to change venues last minute. Wedding planning right now is stressful but Blushed By Brink helped make our day run so smoothly! I highly recommend using them, you won’t regret it. :)

Tarah and Madison were wonderful! My hair style was one of my absolute favorite things about my wedding. I will probably never top that, it was amazing! Honestly though, everything they did was beautiful. They did a great job interpreting not only my inspiration pictures, but also those of my bridesmaids. Everyone was super happy and looked beautiful! The make up was not too heavy, looked great in pictures, and lasted throughout the night. This review is a bit odd to write considering I had to cancel my 4/18/20 wedding due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus. But I felt it absolutely necessary to make future couples aware of how amazing Madison and Tarah are at what they do! Though my wedding has been canceled, I did get to meet Madison and have her perform my wedding makeup trial. She was so down to earth and real - having my makeup done by her felt like chatting with an old friend while getting dolled up. You can tell she cares so deeply about her craft and she worked tirelessly to make my makeup perfect. She also checked in with me the next day to see how my makeup held up and if I had any concerns, which I so appreciated. Though I never met Tarah, corresponding with her over email was SO easy and smooth. She effectively handled a few last-minute changes I wanted to make and worked with me to make sure I felt supported every step of the way. She also responded within 24 hours every time I reached out - I never had to follow up, which is honestly so refreshing during a time where you're dealing with multiple different vendors. I also really appreciate that Blushed by Brink put their pricing and policy info directly on their website. When you're planning a wedding, small details like transparency really set vendors apart! A quick note on the makeup itself. I am Indian and going into finding a makeup artist, I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find one who properly understood my skin tone and was able to achieve the look I wanted. I wasn't having a traditional Indian ceremony so I didn't want super heavy/dramatic makeup, but I did want a more glam look than usual natural makeup. I also usually don't wear makeup on a daily basis. Madison took a look at my Pinterest board and immediately knew what to do, even when my request was slightly outside Blushed by Brink's more natural aesthetic - and she matched my skin flawlessly with her airbrush makeup. For brides of color out there who are worried about the nuances of their skin tone, rest assured that you are in great hands with Madison and Tarah. I could tell from first booking through to my makeup trial and beyond that these sisters care so much for their craft and for their clients. Both their work and their customer service is exceptional in every sense of the word. Though my actual celebration plans are up in the air, I will absolutely be going back to Blushed by Brink when I can. I 100000% recommend Tarah and Madison to any bride in the Orange County or San Diego area!

Madison and Tarah are honestly the perfect duo! Madison and Tarah did the make-up for myself and my bridal party for the day of my wedding. They both were amazing with myself and my bridal party! Most of my bridal party (including myself) tend to go pretty light (or without) make up most of the time. Tarah and Madison were able to take that information and still allow me and the bridesmaids to feel comfortable in our own skin. The girls hair and makeup looked absolutely beautiful! The bridesmaids were definitely feeling themselves throughout the evening and were really happy with how the final look came out. My makeup honestly lasted throughout the entire evening (including my bawling at the alter) and mine and the bridesmaid's hairs looked flawless even by the end of the night. Pricewise, these ladies were right on track with what I was seeing for a lot of orange county prices. But, I think their open communication and welcoming personality and commitment to a schedule make them worth the price of their services. Do yourself a favor and hire these two wonderful women. They were so friendly, authentic, and delivered an incredible product. It was also so much fun to include them in my party's "getting ready" morning which incorporated binge-watching Love is Blind. You ladies are beyond incredible and I am so thankful that you both were there to beautify me for my special day!

I worked with Madison to get my bridal hair and bridesmaids hair done for my wedding in October and truly she was perfect. I’m the type of person who doesn’t really get “done up” on a day to day basis so during the hair trial I wasn’t really sure what direction I wanted to go in. Madison busted out a gorgeous hairstyle that I was enamored with. Then on the actual big day it was lovely watching her give each of my bridesmaids proper time for their hair as well. She pulled a lot of artistry into it by giving them all braids, but they were all different styles of braid. My hair stayed styled all night even after rigorous dancing and I couldn’t have been happier. Full five stars!

Tarah and Devynne did an extraordinary job on all of us girls (12 jobs total for hair and make up) for my 1920's themed wedding. Product and instruments we're clean and sterile, and were used with high quality make up that lasted the entire evening. Tarah and Devynne were very attentive and cared to each of the girls needs and wants, and truly executed them flawlessly. Also when researching beauty vendors I found blushedbybrink to be the most reasonable in their contractual requirements. Basically my diamond in the rough, and my day would not have been what it was without them. thank you ladies! I can't say that enough!

A bit of background: my style is very much not "glamorous" -- I tend to go almost too natural with my daily makeup. For my wedding day though, I knew my usual style wouldn't photograph well or match my gown, but it was important that I still be able to recognize and feel like myself. If you look at samples of their work, they're totally pros when it comes to enhancing brides' natural beauty while still making them look bridal. But what really cinched the deal was how professional and easy to work with they are! I wasn't at all decided on what hairstyles to do, but they provided some great insights and recommendations on what would work best for my personal style, hair texture, and accessories. They were very patient, answered all my questions, and I never once felt rushed, even though I know I can be pretty indecisive. The makeup trial with Tarah eased a lot of my nerves on the actual wedding day but we had already worked out my lip color, eye color, and plus, I got to know her a little better before the whirlwind of the wedding day came! The day-of went pretty smoothly, Tarah and Madison were very easy-going and friendly with everyone there, and they did an amazing job on my three bridesmaids, the moms, and I. There were no set styles for the bridesmaids' hair and makeup outside of the bronze eyeshadow, but I trusted that Tarah and Madison would make them look gorgeous in any case. Our airbrush makeup survived our very balmy 89 degree day, and everything stayed in place for the rest of the night even despite all the dancing! I would hire them all over again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them!

I booked with Tarah to have my make-up done for a more upscale wedding I attended as a guest last month. I don't own too much make-up, so I was a little overwhelmed at the idea of purchasing and doing it myself. I'm SO glad I booked with her. Tarah had plenty of color options and was patient to help me find a look that had me feeling glamorous, but still like myself. Plus my make-up stayed put all night. Booking and commuication was also a breeze. You can really tell she loves what she does and cares about the quality of her work...Thanks Tarah!

I am so happy I decided to go with Tarah and Madison for my wedding. You can definitely tell the sisters love and enjoy what they are doing. They made everything so easy and responded extremely quickly during our initial meeting and were available throughout the planning process whenever needed. Tarah and Madison are super efficient, kind, up-beat ladies and made the morning of my wedding extremely calming and fun- which was exactly what I needed. Blushed by Brink worked on a total of 8 ladies for my wedding - bride, 3 BM, MOB, MOG, & SIL- I was the type of bride that gave her girls free reign. Each hair and makeup was customized to the individual's preference and they looked stunning. Even my Mom, who is not used to getting dolled up, looked and felt incredible. As for me, I have never felt more radiant. My make-up lasted all night long and was super lightweight. It all still felt and looked like me, but with just the right amount of bridal glam! You definitely could not tell I wasn’t able to sleep at all the night before. Madison made sure to take her time and perfected every curl, twist, and braid in my hair. Not a pin came out of place throughout all the jumping, spinning, and twirling I was doing on the dance floor.

I was the maid of honor for my best friends wedding and had the best experience! Tarah is like a fairy godmother with her makeup brush! My wedding was July 27th, 2019. I had to hire vendors remotely because we had a destination wedding. Madison and Tarah were very responsive and very thorough when answering all my questions during the planning process. I had a 4 day window when I would be visiting California in the spring and they were able to schedule my trial around my travel plans. They day of the wedding was so fun. Having Madison and Aubrey there was like having more girl friends around to celebrate! We ran a little behind schedule but they worked together to make sure everyone was done in time for photos. I was a dancing machine at my wedding and ended up very sweaty, but my hair and make up looked absolutely perfect all night. I couldn't believe it! They did such a great job. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for a talented, professional, and fun glam squad!
