Blushing Brides did the hair and makeup for my mom's wedding, and they did such a fabulous job that I requested the same stylist for my wedding! Lauren is incredibly talented and she felt like family after just two mornings together. Thank you for a fabulous experience!

My experience with Blushing Brides was fantastic. Meghan was so incredibly responsive and helpful with my initial inquiry. I also truly appreciated her follow up and organization. I then had a conference call with Lauren to learn more about Blushing Brides and what they offered. From the get go I felt taken care of and was in the best of hands. My trial with Lauren was amazing. She is so kind and sweet and completely put me at ease. On my wedding day Lauren was accompanied by Nicole. They were a great team and my bridal party loved them. Nicole was so patient with my three nieces doing their hair and makeup. Lauren and Nicole are both talented stylists but what I also appreciated was their ability to read the people around them. Wedding days are stressful and the two of them knew how to be present when needed but also fade into the background when the stress level was peaking. Thank you so much Meghan, Lauren and Nicole - you ladies are incredible! I would highly recommend Blushing Brides to any bride.

Such a professional and great group of women to work with. Whenever I had a question I always got a very quick response and on the day of my wedding, the artists showed up early and ready to go at almost 7am! The artists were detailed oriented and listened to what you asked. Overall GREAT experience and could not recommend them enough!

I really enjoyed having Mckenzie take care of my hair and makeup, and Elizabeth pamper my hands and feet! They were so nice! I received so many compliments from my guests!

Both Gianna and Courtney were absolutely amazing! They came prepared for what we had asked for. My hair exceeded my expectations and all of the girls got compliments all night long! I would recommend them everytime!

I had a very poor experience with Blushing Brides. They were excellent at communicating with me until I identified a concern and stopped all contact with me. Working with them was incredibly stressful and even though they have rave reviewed and did show up on my wedding day, the past few months with them have been very challenging. I would not recommend them.

Lauren from Blushing Brides was the hair and makeup artist for my wedding this past July. She was so helpful and great to work with both at the trial and on the day of my wedding. All of my bridesmaids loved working with her as well and were so happy with their looks! Lauren was efficient, pleasant to chat to during the whole morning getting ready, and was very talented at working with a variety of hair types and skin tones. I was personally so happy with my hair and makeup. Lauren was so helpful with tips on how to keep my makeup staying put and not getting sunburnt on a really hot day. I felt so glamorous but still like myself which is exactly what I wanted. I’d highly recommend Blushing Brides!

I used Blushing Brides, as recommended by our wedding planner, for my wedding on the Cape this past July and it was the only vendor that I was not super pleased with. I had an overall positive experience with the hair/makeup trial (with Paige; a "team" member) in Worcester, although there was a bit of a miscommunication about the false eyelashes and we both had to drive at least 1 hr to get there. They also totally forgot to reach back out to me to schedule the trial, so it was a good thing I remembered and followed-up with them! Unfortunately the same artist who did my trial was not able to do my hair and makeup the day of my wedding due to have COVID so they sent a different artist (totally understandable). However, apparently no one had sent this new artist the photos from my trial which I wasn't aware of and she never asked me to confirm the look beforehand. I liked the hair overall although even that was styled a bit differently from the trial. But the makeup felt way too heavy and formal for my afternoon, backyard wedding and I was really disappointed. The eyeshadow and contouring was much heavier than the look from the trial which my partner and I had both loved. To her credit, she offered to fix it and did take a little off the eyes, but I didn't want her to have to start all over after doing the airbrushing and also had had to get ready and didn't want to delay the rest of my party. I also found the number and length of emails from the coordinators to be excessive and overwhelming. Their prices seemed to be a bit steep including a warning that if a member of the wedding party doesn't dry their hair fully they may be charged upwards of $85 to blow dry it. Luckily, this wasn't an issue because I am very detail oriented and shared all that information with my wedding party ahead of time but it felt like a total racket. And while the makeup artists I worked with were professional and covid-cautious, neither were particularly warm. Lastly, I found that much of the language in the paperwork and emails to be highly gendered and overly "cutesy" (e.g., everything ended with an exclamation point and smiley face). I get that we're expected to be "blushing brides" and this is part of good customer service, but it came across as very fake, especially when sandwiched between really specific instructions and reminders about gratuity, prices, etc. I think it's possible to be courteous and friendly while still conveying this information in a direct and streamlined way. If you choose to go with BB, I would recommend reading the paperwork very carefully and being assertive with your hair/makeup artists both during the trial and on your wedding day. I give the artists credit because they have a tough job especially during a pandemic, but if I could do it again, I would have been much more assertive and/or gone with a different company.

I do not recommend this company. I hired this company multiple years ago to work a wedding scheduled for the same year. We were pressured into signing a (very long, complex) contract and paid in full promptly after our trial even though covid was an ongoing issue (they assured us rescheduling would not be an issue and would be free.) Due to covid we had to reschedule and we were charged an exorbitant fee ($300.) The amount of email correspondence this company expects of the bride/bridal party is not worth the aggravation on your special day. I did not appreciate the constant reminders of “suggested gratuity” and the amount either - I found that distasteful. My artist was very accommodating and did a wonderful job; however she forgot to do my lip color and I was the bride. My husband was upset. I paid extra for a “senior artist”.

Carrie from Blushing Brides was wonderful! I did two trials with her because I was indecisive and wanted to try all sorts of hair styles but she was very patient and listened to everything I had to say. On the day of the wedding, she was professional, got along with everyone, and everyone's hair turned out great!

Lauren from Blushing Brides made my wedding day spectacular. She was a delight at every consultation discussion, made my makeup-averse mother feel incredibly comfortable and cared for, made me feel like an absolute PRINCESS at the trial and on the wedding day, and became best friends with each of my bridesmaids! I truly cannot express how much better Lauren made my wedding morning with her joyful energy and amazing talent. I have never felt more beautiful and confident than in Lauren's hands and I sincerely hope my friends use her for their weddings so I can see her again! Our other artist was also a delight, and the admin contact for Blushing Brides was responsive and helpful, making the whole process seamless. I would 100% choose to work with Blushing Brides and Lauren again - and I hope you choose them too!

I recommend blushing brides. I had a trial with Elizabeth, my makeup artist, and Carrie, my hair artist. Both of them were very professional and talented, listened to my feedback, and did a fantastic job for my wedding. I had a few weeks to organize my hair and makeup, and they worked with me knowing that I live out of state. That was why my hair and makeup were how I wanted them to be on my wedding day. I did not read the details of the forms sent stating that there is additional money for blow drying my hair and some other elements that added to the expenses, but if you read what they sent you, it should not be any surprises. Overall, I had a great experience, and I recommend them to the brides in the area!

I had a great experience with blushing brides. Despite being overwhelmed by Covid postponements they were super accommodating and able to add a second artist for my bridal party as a last minute request. My hair and makeup were perfection and I got many compliments!

I hired Blushing Brides to do the make-up and hair for my destination wedding Labor Day weekend 2021 in Cape Cod. They seemed to be professional and on point with their organization. I was apprehensive about not having a trial because I was flying in from Florida, but they assured me it would be fine. I sent many pictures ahead of time and believed them when they said my stylist would be prepared. On the day though, she arrived without any prior knowledge of what my hair or make-up was to look like. I was very disappointed about that but she did a great job on the bridal party's hair so I was hopeful. Unfortunately, when it came to my turn it went down hill fast. She was making noises of frustration while trying to do my hair, saying it was being difficult. I stopped her and tried to pivot and get her to do my makeup instead to change the energy. My lashes turned out great, but the colors for shadow and such were not what I was looking for exactly. In the end I was an hour late for the wedding, I had to just wear my hair down with veil to cover up the back- which was an hair spray disaster! I did my own lips, eyeliner and mascara. Got to my wedding a shaking teary mess because of the stress! Definitely get a trial if you hire them! I expected the company to reach out and at least apologize, but I got nothing. I contacted Blushing Brides myself when I got home and let them know what happened. Because they make you prepay everything, I had ordered a lipgloss for touch up that I never received. I asked for this money back, just $25. The owner asked if I would get on the phone with a rep for her. She assured me they would refund the lipgloss. It is now Jan. I have never had an apology or a refund check for the lipgloss. What a customer service let down! Beware- these guys are all about it on the front end, didn't care at all after the fact.

Blushing Brides was incredible! My wedding planner referred me to them, and the whole experience I had was amazing. The team communicates clearly, checks in frequently, and everyone I spoke to made me feel comfortably. They even accommodated adding more people to my day of planned services when other challenges arouse in the planning process. Our hair and makeup was beautiful and everyone had a great day of experience! I can't say enough great things about this team.

I was so happy to find Blushing Brides. Originally I was scheduling trials with other companies, but I was not happy. And then I found Blushing Brides. They are able to respond to me in a short time (less than a month). Meghan has been great for coordinating and giving clear details about the process. She has responded quickly whenever I have questions. The senior make up artist and hair artist that helped me are Elizabeth and Paige. I had a great trial with them and they also gave useful tips. I am happy that Elizabeth listen to me when I describe the makeup I want. Paige is very patient when my guest request slight change. Both of them have greet technical skills. They also arrive early that day. This really help to keep my wedding on schedule. My guests and I are very happy with their work. I feel so beautiful that day. Kudos to not only the artists, but also Meghan and Laura for a smooth and fast coordination! I will highly recommend to reach out to them for service.

I wish I could review my artists and Blushing Brides separately. To start off, Nicole was exceptional. They were professional and did beautiful work. I have no qualms about recommending them wholeheartedly. However, I cannot in good faith recommend blushing brides to anyone. Working with management at BB caused an inordinate amount of strife in my wedding planning process. The process to book them in the first place took over 90 emails back and forth, and often management would take weeks to respond. After requesting and confirming that I would receive two vaccinated artists, management went back and forth waiting until we were less than a week out from the wedding to finally confirm that there would be two artists who were vaccinated. Management was so disorganized that in spite of my reaching out to confirm details many weeks in advance, they were sending me updated contracts the day before the wedding, during the rehearsal dinner. Finally, BB overcharged me by $300 because they forgot that they had charged my retainer/deposit. While this was ultimately resolved, it took over a month and many follow up emails to receive a refund. After all of this, I cannot recommend blushing brides. They were by far the most stressful part of my wedding planning experience. If you can book Nicole outside of blushing brides, I would recommend it.

Lifesavers! I got married back in September 2021 and unfortunately the makeup artist I initially hired canceled a month before my wedding. In true bridal fashion, I went into panic mode and immediately thought everything was ruin. Luckily, I have a friend who works in the bridal industry and reached out to her. She was like don’t panic, call Blushing Brides they are fantastic and have a large team and may have availability. Wouldn’t you know, they had my wedding date wide open, like it was a sign from the heavens. They set me up with everything I needed, kept in constant contact with me every week following up to my wedding and reassured me everything was going to be great! Elizabeth was our makeup artist and she was awesome, super friendly and down to earth. She made everyone look and feel great that day, especially my mother who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup. In the end I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Thanks again Blushing Brides for everything you did for me!

I was super happy with Blushing Brides. They offered home trials which was very helpful to my mom and I. Mckenzie was really nice and personable and she did a great job. I'm not used to wearing makeup at all so she really found the balance for me that I was still comfortable wearing it. I also have very thick long hair and she was able to stick it all in a bun. My mom was also very happy with her hair and makeup as well. I got my nails done by Elizabeth and they turned out very pretty. Overall, I was very happy with the experience!

Nicole is such an incredible hair and makeup artist. She was able to style my hair to go beautifully with my dress and my makeup was perfect, I truly felt beautiful that day. They were patient even though I was very "specific" about what I was looking for, and her and McKenzie went above and beyond to make sure everyone was done on time. Also, our hair and makeup stayed entirely intact throughout the day/night. I would highly recommend this team!

Sam was amazing!! She was so professional and was completely unfazed when I decided to do a different style on my wedding day than what we had practiced at the trial run.

Blushing brides is what you are looking for, for your wedding day. I had the pleasure of working with Lauren as she did my hair and makeup. This company is very responsive and easy to work with. They are well organized and willing to work with you. I had to change my wedding date multiple times due to COVID, and they were right there telling me no problem we’ll book you for that day. My trial went smoothly and had no trouble with them. I had all my bridesmaids pick out pictures of the hair due they wanted for the day. The hair stylist slayed each hair due to their liking. Lauren did an amazing job with makeup as the theme of it was natural looking. I absolutely loved the airbrush makeup. I was honestly a little skeptical about it because I thought I was going to look like a cake face (I don’t wear a lot of makeup). Lauren told me to trust her and so I did. I was in love with the results. This team is amazing and really works with you to give you a stress free time. You’d be crazy if you didn’t hire them.

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day!! As did all of my bridesmaids! From the start, Blushing Brides was really great to work with; the team is super organized and is always on top of timelines. I had to initially postpone my wedding due to COVID and they were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with throughout the very stressful time. Nicole was the senior artist that I worked with and is super talented, as are Amy and Kayla, who worked with my 11 bridesmaids. The day-of, the team was prompt (they traveled to Vermont for the wedding) and had everything prepared so that the schedule ran smoothly. I definitely highly recommend!

Blushing brides was uniquely helpful for me because I live in MA and got married in VT. I was able to do a trial in Massachusetts but not have to pay too much for travel, because they have a hub in Stowe. I had hair and makeup done for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms and they developed a schedule for the day. They asked for inspo pics when I scheduled my trial, so I felt like I was getting an artist who specialized in my style - which I believe I did in McKenzie! The only issue I had with the trial is that my hair and makeup went over the allotted time, which resulted in a charge (which they warned of in advance), but I don't feel like it was my fault. My makeup was only done once and I only tried one hair style. I don't see how I could have avoided going over, but it was okay because I was happy with my artist. I was happy about this because I was having a great deal of trouble finding artists in VT that did the "natural glam" look I was looking for who were still available. They gave a lot of communications leading up to the wedding and explained thing in detail, which is helpful-if anything there was over-detailed, which you can't complain about. Although sometimes, I would get emails for things I had already done, which made me nervous that things would get missed. On the day of the wedding we had three artists. Sam came first and did all the hair, plus makeup for a couple bridesmaids. She was awesome, gave great ideas and feedback, and delivered gorgeous work. I would recommend her a thousand times over. She was even done a full 40 minutes early on the hair and then was able to finish the makeup early enough add another girl who decided she wanted to get her's done too. All her work was beautiful. And when touchups came, she helped the girls improve things they changed their minds on, with ease. In the afternoon, Elizabeth and McKenzie came from another wedding to finish the bridesmaids along with Sam and to do my hair and makeup. All the work was gorgeous, everyone looked beautiful and natural and the makeup lasted the entire night. The "individual" lashes they use are amazingly comfortable - they don't get heavy like the strips can. I personally felt like my makeup was flawless. McKenzie spent a lot of time on it and it absolutely showed. My hair started out perfect, but it was falling out of the pins that were supposed to hold it over my shoulder before the artists even left the venue and the curls didn't even last through pictures. This is something I was worried about happening because my hair doesn't hold a curl very well and I mentioned this quite a few times - but it did look natural, so I suppose that is the tradeoff. I would just advise brides to say you want to be ready half hour earlier than you need to be ready. It was after “ready time” by the time she started working on my hair. This was the most stressed I was during my entire wedding day, seeing the minutes tick by and realizing I was losing precious time I had scheduled for pictures. However, in the end, my makeup was flawless. It lasted the entire night and I never had to worry about it once, which is definitely worth it.

Do not hesitate to book Lauren!!! From the second I spoke with her, I just knew it was going to work. No one knew how to work this all through the pandemic, but every phone call Lauren was there and helped us navigate 3 dates, and 3 venues!!!!! The day of, we even were AHEAD of schedule we had time to relax a little and it wasn't rush rush rush! My hair also did NOT move from 11 AM- PM. Thank you Blushing Brides for making it easy!

Happy with quality of services provided by Paige for myself and one other bridal party member. Trial coordinator, Laura, was also very easy to work with and responsive even during pandemic rescheduling. Deducted stars due to customer experience with Meghan, bridal coordinator. Giving benefit of the doubt that they are short staffed, but didn’t receive finalized contact until 6:51 pm the night before my wedding, although was told I had received 4 days prior (reviewed emails and this was not accurate). When I reviewed final contract (on next business day- aka my wedding day) I had questions about a charge, but since it was day of - no changes could be made. Poor handling of the situation all around that could have been easily avoided through more organized and timely actions, since all details impacting the final contract had been shared with Meghan 2 weeks prior to wedding day.

First off, McKenzie and Elizabeth were my artists for the day and they did a phenomenal job. My bridesmaids and I were very pleased with both our hair and make up and it was a pleasure to work with both of them. I commend them for starting at 5:45am and working twice as hard to make up for a 3rd artist that was unable to make it last minute. In terms of the management and planning beforehand, at first I was very impressed with the communication and organization of Blushing Brides. Meghan, Laura and their team were very responsive and communicative about the hair/make up trial as well as getting organized for the wedding day. However, within the month before my wedding I grew frustrated with the lack of communication regarding my final contract, schedule for the day and balance due. Granted, I understand life happens and members of Blushing Brides had completely legitimate reasons for being unresponsive at this time, but I don't think the back up plan was thought through. After many emails and phone calls with limited response and incorrect updates to my contract everything wasn't finalized until the day before my wedding which was stress I didn't need.

Blushing Brides was overall a great experience! MacKenzie, my primary artist, and Amy, the makeup artist for my bridesmaids, were wonderful. Professional, timely, and great to work with. Amazing final products!! The price was quite a bit (only reason for 4 stars), as is the theme within the Boston area. They gave a lot of communication through emails which was nice but sometimes it was a lot of information. Always pleasant and polite, though! I would recommend working with them.

I used Blushing Brides to arrange for hair and makeup artists to come to my home on my wedding day for myself and my 5 teen and adult daughters. Meghan made the arrangements easy. In addition to making us all look gorgeous, Carrie and Elizabeth were both really wonderful working with the family. Carrie was especially sweet to my stepdaughter, a young adult with special needs - she helped her choose a hairstyle she loved, encouraged her chattiness, and even ended up helping her into her dress. Both artists were responsive to all of our wishes, and gave us coordinated but individualized looks that we loved.

Blushing Brides was amazing to work with! I planned my wedding relatively quickly (all during the pandemic) and I was so pleased at the ease of communication and speed of replies. Blushing Brides came to my rescue after I had to fire my original makeup artist a month before my September wedding date! Luckily they had some availability, a silver lining of all the wedding postponements!, and we had the best day working with Nicole. All communication with the staff, my experience with my trial, were super professional and organized leading up to the day and on the actual day Nicole made my mother, sister, and I feel like princesses and kept us cool and collected during a frantic morning. I absolutely loved my makeup and never felt more beautiful. Hire them, you will not be sorry!!

Jerri was awesome! I was recommended to her from another makeup artist and she did not disappoint! She definitely nailed the look i was going for. The makeup lasted all day and I got a lot of compliments. I would definitely hire Jerri again for any future glam needs!

The team at Blushing Brides was wonderful to work with! I did my trial with Nicole and she was so much fun and it was great to be able to discuss different options with her. I changed my hair between the trial and the wedding day, but she was amazing and it was perfect. We brought Sarah in to help as we had a good number of hair and makeup services and they were such a blast to get ready with. It really added the day and helped ease my nerves. They were really fabulous!

Nicole did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and I in September, and she traveled out to Nantucket for the event. Not only was she incredibly talented, but she blended seamlessly with my bridal party and it was so fun having her with us while we all got ready! I had a great experience working with Blushing Brides! They were professional and responsive throughout the entire process, and helped with any questions I had that came up along the way. My hair and makeup artist listened to what I wanted for my look and adjusted her plans to make sure I was happy with it. I felt supported throughout the process. I was initially nervous about how my hair and makeup would look on my wedding day, as someone with little to no experience doing either! It was a big weight off my shoulders when following my trial and correspondences with Blushing Brides I felt truly confident in how hair and makeup would come out for me, my family, and wedding party on our wedding day.

My experience with blushing brides was great! They were very responsive with all of my inquires at the beginning, but also were so professional in any reminder emails and follow-ups which was a massive help as I didn't work with a wedding planner! My stylist Meghan was amazingly flexible, accessible, and very helpful while I worked out the hairstyle I wanted. She was on-time for our session, and was able to do a lot of girls' hairs (and two makeup applications) all within a tight schedule. Her great positive attitude and friendly demeanor also were fantastic for the morning, it felt like a friend was in the room doing our hair! I loved my hair!

Nikki was my makeup artist and she was more than I ever could have hoped for! I was flying in from San Diego and Blushing Brides was really accommodating setting up my makeup trial at my parents' home just a few days before my wedding. My mother never wears make up so I decided to do a trial for both her and myself. Nikki gave perfect recommendations and she took the time to explain everything she was doing so my mother would feel comfortable. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful the day of the wedding and Nikki did such a great job giving everyone a little extra glam without making anyone feel like their face was covered in makeup. My mother and both of my mother-in-laws were also extremely happy with how their simple makeup turned out. I would absolutely recommend Blushing Brides because they made the entire planning process really stress free. Most importantly, I can't say enough nice things about Nikki and would 100% recommend her as an artist. She has such a sweet and relaxed personality which was just an added bonus on top of her skills as an artist and helped keep the wedding day very stress free. Whether you want full faced glam or a simple look, Nikki will do an AMAZING job!

I absolutely loved working with Blushing Brides. I remember stressing out in general about details of wedding planning and staying on budget. As far as hair/makeup was concerned, I was beyond pleased with how well Blushing Brides helped me feel at ease, down to the tiniest details. Meghan is super organized and her emails were very helpful. She is patient and warm, and it really felt like they were all so happy to be a part of my special day; there was such a personal side of each interaction that also helped me to remember to take some joy in the planning process. All servicing and pricing was clear, including gratuity, and I did not have to think about anything on my wedding day except me and my bridal party getting ready with the help of an excellent team! The pricing is very fair, especially for how quality of a service I received! Courtney was amazing. During my hair/makeup trial she listened to my thoughts and created a look that was exactly what I wanted, which was great because I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted when I was describing it to her! On my wedding day, I wanted a small change and she talked me through this and it went so well. I felt extremely comfortable with everything and felt beautiful and supported! My bridal party looked amazing, thanks to both Courtney and the other hair artist on the team! Everyone was extremely happy with the service, especially myself. I highly, highly recommend Blushing Brides- they are truly amazing artists and people, and I am so grateful to them for being a part of my wedding day!

Absolutely loved working with Blushing Brides! They’re incredibly friendly and professional—from the very start they were super detailed and helped to keep me on track. I bonded with my artist—McKenzie—almost right away during my hair and makeup trial. I love that she was able to expertly interpret what I wanted for my hair and that my makeup still made me look like me. She and Kassi were an absolute joy to work with on my wedding day and I’d pick them again in a heartbeat (not that I plan on getting married again but you know what I mean). Thanks to everyone at BB. Wonderful, professional staff. The Blushing Brides team did a great job giving lots of clear information early and often to make our communication easy while planning for our wedding. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup regularly, I most concerned about looking and feeling like myself on the wedding day. Working with Sarah my stylist for hair and makeup in my trial run made me very confident that I would be put together and ready to party in a beautiful makeup and hairstyle. I'm very grateful and would work with them again on another event, without a doubt - and I would highly recommend them to brides in the region.

I booked blushing brides pretty last minute for my destination wedding on Nantucket. They did an incredible job on my entire bridal party (10 girls) and my hair and makeup was on point. I got so many compliments! Thank you to the entire team but a special thank you to my bridal stylist Nikki! You are so amazing! Very prompt, professional, and warm hearted! Everyone I dealt with here was amazing and Courtney was a fantastic artist to work with. She was super friendly and fun and got everyone ready on time. She always came to us for trial runs or for the big day and took the stress out of getting ready. Would definitely recommend!

Blushing Brides did an amazing job for both hair and makeup services for my wedding. I did my both my trial and day of services with Nicole and she was amazing! Kassi also came with her to help with my bridesmaids and she was so great as well! They were very easy to work with and their team helped to make everything so organized prior to the big day. We got married at a Ski Resort in Vermont and it was SO convenient for them to be able to travel to us, it made the day go so smoothly. Would definitely recommend them!

I couldn't have asked for a better team on my wedding day than Nicole and Courtney! They were so professional but lots of fun and made the prep for my wedding day feel like a party. As someone who doesn't regularly wear makeup I was a bit nervous going in, but the Blushing Brides team was fantastic at listening to my feedback, trying out different things and really putting me at ease. I looked and felt like the best version of myself that day and can't thank Blushing Brides enough!

Blushing Brides really delivered for my wedding on 10/5 in VT. From the very start, the communication was great and everything was very well organized. My principal designer was Lauren and she worked with Kassi. These ladies were amazing. They made it up to Vermont on the morning of the wedding day on time. They did an exceptional job with my entire wedding party, which included over 11 individuals (ladies of all ages). I couldn't have been happier with my make up and hair. The pictures looked amazing and I was so happy with how everything turned out. Most importantly, Lauren was just the best to have around on the day of the wedding. She was super calming and fun. I can't recommend Lauren and this company enough.

I am so happy that I chose to work with Blushing Brides! My sister had used Blushing Brides for her wedding 4 years before mine and they were one of the first calls I made after knowing what an amazing job they did for her wedding - they certainly did not disappoint for mine either! Lauren did the most amazing job making all of us look STUNNING for the big day. She did my hair, all of the bridesmaids, as well as the mothers and everyone was so pleased with how they looked! From start to finish, I had such a great experience. Everyone who helped me coordinate was so nice, helpful and responsive and Lauren did such an amazing job! I highly recommend using Blushing Brides for your hair-styling needs, but Lauren in particular!! She is not only amazing at what she does, but she is so sweet and was so fun to have as a part of our morning!

Incredibly responsive crew over at Blushing Brides. Easy to schedule my trial, and very comprehensive overview of all the services offered. My stylist Lauren was an absolute dream to work with. During the trial, she listened to what I was asking for, gave excellent feedback and options to ultimately make my hair and makeup for the big day fabulous. For our marathon hair and make up session, it was like hanging out with an old friend who happened to be a hair and makeup wizard and we actually wrapped up an hour early. Cannot recommend this group of talented folks enough, overall communication was great, the execution was incredible, and it made what could have been a very stressful part of my wedding day so insanely easy.

I am so happy I found Blushing Brides for my wedding day! They always promptly responded to my emails and answered all of my questions! I ended up not doing a trial run but Gianna went above and beyond on the wedding day and made my vision come to light! My hair and makeup were absolutely beautiful and she was so fun and easy to work with. Gianna made me feel like a princess and I can not say enough good things. The supporting artist McKenzie was just as sweet and talented! I can not say enough good things! Thank you Blushing Brides!

I couldn't be happier that I chose Blushing Brides. We had Nicole and Kasi do myself, bridesmaids, mother of Bride & Groom, and my grandmothers hair + make up. Nicole did both my hair and make up and it came out BEAUTIFUL. She does amazing work - very natural looking. Their prices are great and the team they have is well organized. I mainly was in contact with Meghan and she was responsive, organized and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Blushing Brides.

I had to sign my contract and send a $300 deposit before I could schedule a trial run. I should’ve considered this a red flag, but they came highly reviewed on The Knot and it seemed like a legit business. The email exchanges were long, convoluted, stock emails that had way too much information that wasted my time (just get an FAQ page). So I go to the trial ($200) and I’m disappointed with both hair and make-up, but what can I do, I’ve already signed the contract and given them $500 at this point. They don’t allow money to be exchanged at the date of the event so we even had to tip the artist 3 weeks ahead of time. On the wedding day I explained to the bridesmaids that their hair/makeup was pre-paid, but some either didn’t hear/forgot and handed the artist money - and she took it! She knew she was already paid, she knew she already had a tip. My mom had to ask for the money back. Then at the end my mom (who got her hair curled at her private salon) asked if the artist could use a few bobby pins to clip her hair back (4 bobby pins to be exact). She said it would be an extra fee. My mom agreed and handed her $60 for the additional service. The artist took the money. My moms hair fell out 20 minutes after the artist left. AND THEN I get an email confirmation that the company charged the credit card on file an additional $90 for my moms hair (my mom has a short bob, and again… 4 bobby pins used…. Fell out 20 minutes later). I’m just so disappointed. The artist herself was OK…friendly, and listened to what I wanted. I liked how I looked, although she left without placing my hairpiece and my hair fell out before the wedding was over. The disappointment mostly comes from how shady they are with money! There were several other annoyances along the way that all add up to just a terrible experience.

For my wedding, I had Nicole A do my hair for myself, bridal party and mother’s. She was so easy to talk to, get along with and she definitely saw my vision for how I wanted my hair to look like for the big day! Whatever style you want, she can make it happen! Plus, it was so easy talking to Laura and Megan to make sure everything was set up and went smoothly from the trial run to our wedding day!

I wish I could review Lauren separately from this company because she was fantastic, from my makeup trial to doing 9 faces of makeup the day of, Lauren was efficient, pleasant, and finished ahead of schedule. The problems I had with this company were on the business end- they were straight-up awful. I was nervous about them from day one because I felt rushed to make a decision, they seemed excited for me to book with them but once I started asking specific questions about locations, services, prices, the response I got was "If you don't book in the next few days we will not save your spot and may not have an artist to work with you", so I panicked and booked it. The communication was terrible, at times they would respond to emails within minutes, other times it was days or repeatedly emailing them before I got a response. I had many discussions with them about how long services take and my concern about 1 artist not being able to get everything done in time based on their time estimates, they reassured me everything would be fine and made me a schedule to show me how it would all work. I then received an email from them asking me to fill in the schedule and its completely different and they requested to start even earlier to get everything done. I told them we can't start earlier and I was told this would all work out fine, they said "oops, it will be fine, here's your schedule to fill out." I was beyond stressed about there not being enough time for everyone to get done that we even made a plan for who would forfeit makeup if that happened. The next issue was payment. They never reached out to me about payment so I emailed them asking if it was due that day, they said yes it was and they would charge my card that day.. A week goes by and there's no charge, I email them multiple times and nobody emails back or charges my card. Finally one week before my wedding I get a call from someone else in the company who noticed my unanswered emails and finally charged my card. The day of was fine, like I sad, Lauren was amazing and I did truly love my wedding makeup. The biggest issue actually came after my wedding. I got home from my honeymoon to ANOTHER charge from them on my credit card. I reached out to them to ask why and they said they were having a "glitch" with their system and I got charged by accident and they would take care of it and not to dispute the charge with my credit card company. They gave me a PARTIAL refund so I reached out again, they asked me for a screenshot of my credit card (????) which I refused to give, and then told me they cannot give a partial refund for the rest of the money so they wanted to charge me again for something I did not receive, and then refund the total amount. I refused this option and disputed the claim with my credit card company. I then received an email from Grace the owner threatening me with legal action for not paying for a service. To recap, I paid for my services IN FULL a week prior to my wedding, they charged me for SOMEONE ELSE'S services after the fact, and then threatened me. I finally got the money back through the credit card company and never heard from them again but honestly, this company cannot even keep their clients' credit card information safe, DO NOT book with them.
