For all you type A ladies like myself -- do your self a favor and hire Carrie, you need Carrie as you planner. I cannot stress how important it is to hire a planner for your wedding and that planner needs to be Carrie, without Carrie our day would have been absolute chaos, she truly is one of the best vendors we hired and made our day a true dream. We cannot thank her enough - she went above and beyond and everyone saw in awe on just how amazing she truly is.
We hired Carrie as our planner and designer and truly was the best decision we made. Carrie put together a truly amazing day that we will always remember as one of the best days of our lives. Carrie is such an amazing human and her attention to detail + personability is just a couple of her many strengths. When we hired Carrie we knew that we did not have to worry about anything since she had everything covered and she did. People asked me how my wedding went and it was perfect and they said oh you must have had people shielding you from the chaos - in fact there was no chaos and that is 100% due to the fact that we had Carrie. If you want a perfect wedding (literally it will be perfect) then hire Carrie & Boheme Events. You will not be sorry, since she will take your vision and 10x it! I could not be more happy with how everything turned out and its 100% because of Carrie and Boheme Events.

I can’t thank the team at Boheme enough for helping us plan and execute our wedding day! We had a fantastic experience working the Carrie and her team! She was organized and diligent—following up on every vendor with every detail. I’m a project manager by trade, and she blew my expectations out of the water. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, I would give Boheme my highest recommendation.
Honestly I don’t know where I begin. Boheme Events was the single greatest decision we made for our wedding. There will never be enough words to properly convey how thankful we are to Carrie and her team. From the very moment we began working with Carrie she was right there with us and that never stopped. Her organization is like nothing I’ve ever seen! We had vendors telling us that she was so on point and organized. Beyond that her creative vision was on point! She really listened to who we were as a couple and helped us create a wedding that was so authentically us. She was kind, compassionate and level headed every step of the way - even when we were facing rain and had to re-work some things. As a bride you don’t want to face decisions that rain brings but Carrie walked us through it seamlessly and managed to keep our vision together! She worked her magic in so many ways (too many to list here). It was a complete joy to work with her and as time went on we began joking that we were sharing a brain because we were so in sync. We spoke to quite a few planners before hiring Boheme and while many of them were great we knew that there was something truly special about Boheme and Carrie and boy were we right. Carrie and the Boheme team truly love what they do and they REALLY know what they’re doing! Don’t hesitate for a second in hiring Boheme you will be in the greatest hands! We can’t even imagine what this experience and day would have looked like without Boheme by our side…all we know is that we had a day of pure magic. Thank you Carrie and team Boheme, we will forever be grateful to you.
Carrie is an absolute superwoman. I originally came across Boheme Events when we booked our venue at Kennolyn Stone Creek Village and I saw she had worked with that venue before. Her knowledge was extensive and she immediately understood our needs! Working with Carrie was a joy, I can't imagine what it would have been like trying to plan a full three day wedding weekend at a summer camp without her. She thought of everything, knew what questions to ask, and kept everything so unbelievably organized. Although I am personally a planner at heart, I have no experience with events of this size and she helped me manage my own tasks and how much to take on. When I didn't think it could get any better, when the wedding finally arrived, she went above and beyond. Every detail was thought out and every minor issue taken care of. It was like magic. Not only that, she is just such a light and wonderful person to work with. If you need a wedding planner extraordinaire, Carrie is your person!

Carrie was instrumental in making our special day come full circle, from the big picture to the details needed to make it happen. She took our ideas and turned them into a vision that was realized within budget. She guided us through every step of the process: she helped us prioritize, separately and as a couple, our most important components, set realistic deadlines for each decision, and kept us on track with regular decision and budget updates. She took the time to get to know us both, and helped design a day that felt like it represented who we were as a couple.
For the venue, caterer, flowers, rentals, and music, Carrie was available to help us formulate our vision of what we wanted for our special day. She helped us visualize what was possible in the space, and how the day would flow. She genuinely put our minds at ease by the time the big day came.
We wouldn’t change a thing about our special day, it was beautiful and perfect and exactly what we had hoped it would be. We have Carrie to thank for making it so we could focus on the meaning of the day.
Hiring Carrie was the single most beneficial and important thing we did for our wedding. From the very first meeting, I knew she, my husband, and I were going to work together seamlessly and that she was the wedding planner for us.
To preface this, she helped coordinate and manage a wedding in San Francisco for two physicians, working constantly in the midst of the COVID pandemic, living in South Carolina. Without her, our wedding would have never happened. She was ALWAYS on top of everything and made sure we met our timeline. She went out of her way to help us choose the perfect rentals, florals, and everything in between to make our day as perfect as possible.
Managing two Type A grooms who have difficulty relinquishing control is no easy feat. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly and she made sure that our vision came to fruition. We constantly raved about her to each other and anyone who would listen.
If you come across Boheme Events during your wedding planner search, there's no reason to go any further. Carrie is the perfect wedding planner for anyone and her charismatic, warm, and welcoming personality will make you feel like she's your only client. We knew we needed a planner, but we never expected to develop a new friendship.
I literally don't know how anything could have gone better with Carrie and her team. Not only are they on top of EVERYTHING, Carrie is one of the most beautiful, kind, soothing souls I have ever come across. Our day exceeded my dreams in every way; from organization, to the aesthetic (Carrie did our florals as well and OMG I almost died of happiness when I saw them!), to the feel, to absolutely everything. You will NOT regret using Boheme Events for your day!! I would repeat our wedding, to the exact detail, a million times over if I could. SO much love.
Working with Carrie and the Boheme team was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. I booked a Partial Planning package and Carrie went above and beyond all expectations! She was able to take the vision I had for my wedding and turn it into a reality. From the colors, to decor and florals, every suggestion and idea she had was one thousand times better than anything I could have come up with on my own. She is truly an artist with unbelievable taste and style.

At first, I thought my husband and I were "on top of it" enough to coordinate our own day-of wedding festivities for 100 people. I was SO wrong, and I am beyond grateful to Boheme for making my wedding day a pleasurable, happy, and smooth.

Boheme Events owner Carrie was the best money I have spent in my life. My husband and I wanted to plan a fun wedding focused on fun and laughter with All of our friends and family. I spent a lot of time on Pinterest looking for ideas but the planning had me overwhelmed. I contacted Carrie and she immediately put me at ease. She helped me make decisions, organized and coordinated with the event space, and even did my wedding floral arrangements. Her taste is impeccable and she was fun and awesome to work with. I would highly recommend her and she will undoubtedly make planning your wedding or event a million times more enjoyable.
Carrie with Boheme events was instrumental in our wedding being so easy and beautiful. My wife was busy with work so I had the job of getting our wedding in order and I had NO idea where to start. Carrie basically took me by the hand and patiently walked me through the process, helping me to pick vendors, an event sight,, really everything I needed help with she was there to help. I was overwhelmed with the task but Carrie took so much of the pressure off and in the end we had a spectacular, tasteful event and Carrie was there running the show seamlessly. I cannot express how much we loved having Carrie and Boheme Events along for the journey.
5 ***** wedding planner!!!
Hiring Carrie/Boheme Tipi Events as our wedding planner was hands-down the best decision we could have made. My (now) husband and I have very pretty demanding jobs which were getting even busier right as we kicked off our wedding planning, and I was definitely starting to freak out a bit - then along came Carrie! For two people who knew very little about weddings, had a general idea of what we wanted but didn't want to stress about the details, and had a couple of "unique" personalities in our families to juggle, Carrie couldn't have been a better fit to help us plan our dream wedding.
There are so many reasons why we loved working with Carrie, and it's hard to only highlight a few, but I think one of the things I am most grateful for was her ability to understand our styles and what we were trying to envision for decor and theme, and bring it all together for us in a way that was better than we could have imagined. We were really at ease knowing that she was handling all of the decor and rentals (through her own inventory of amazing things), so it was a no-brainer to use her as our floral designer as well, and I'm really glad we did (I am still dying over our amazing tipi altar!). She and her team really brought our vision to life, and we were in awe at how amazingly everything came together - it really was perfect.
Carrie was also invaluable in helping us find and coordinate with our other vendors, especially our venue (Deer Park Villa), who had her on their recommended list of planners. The month before the wedding, she worked out all of the day-of details with our vendors, communicated timeline, deliveries, etc. and made sure everyone stayed on schedule on our big day. I can't imagine what we would have done if we needed to work all of that out on our own.
Lastly, the week before the wedding, our worst nightmare was looking like it would become reality when the weather was predicting rain on our wedding day (we had chosen our venue because of the beautiful redwood grove). Carrie had already outlined Plan B earlier in the planning, so we were glad we didn't have to panic about what to do, but we were still pretty disappointed that we were going to lose out on some of the decor and scenery elements we were planning - like our tipi altar. Carrie really did everything to make us feel better about potential rain and even said she would build a smaller altar for the covered space and also have the bigger one outside in case it were to clear up before the ceremony, which is just above and beyond in terms of effort. LUCKILY, we didn't need to resort to that because the forecast cleared and it ended up being a beautiful day, but the fact she was so on top of it and thinking of all the ways to make it okay for us was really appreciated.
All in all, Carrie was such an important part of what made our wedding so amazing. I don't know what we would have done without her, and anyone who is questioning if hiring a wedding planner is worth the money, I would say that Boheme Tipi Events was, without a doubt, worth every penny!
Carrie Elizabeth was a wonderful to work with, the best investment of our whole wedding! My husband and I joked, that she was the wedding gift we bought ourselves, but it was absolutely true. Planning Process: Carrie Elizabeth made herself available to answer any questions we had, regarding planning and vendors providing impartial information. She remained in continuous contact throughout the process, checking in at milestones to keep us on track. In every meeting Carrie Elizabeth took extensive notes and would send them for review to insure we were all on the same page. She is responsive to emails, and provide clear communication and feedback. She also brought to our attention details we failed to consider or areas that may be a concern. We appreciated her attention to detail, we always felt we were in good hands.
Wedding Day: Carrie Elizabeth did a wonderful job coordinating with all our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and that things ran smoothly. Like every wedding not everything goes according to plan, Carrie Elizabeth was able to navigate thru all of our wedding day's challenges. Her expertise & creativity to bring our special day together.
What was most important to Scott & I was when it came to our wedding day we wanted to be able to focus on each other and be able to celebrate with our loved ones... Carrie Elizabeth made sure this happened, and we are so grateful we found her.
