Bold Catering

We had a great experience with Bold, are are so glad we chose them. They were very open and flexible during the planning process, then executed to perfection on the day of. They also couldn't have been a nicer, more professional group to work with.

We hired Bold Catering for our wedding over labor day weekend 2022. I would NOT recommend hiring them for a big wedding event. The bartenders were extremely rude to me, my family, and our guests refusing to pour us drinks even though we had paid for the alcohol and there was not a venue cut-off time. To be rude to the bride, groom, and father of the bride who is paying for the whole event is beyond me. They also took advantage of us by up charging on items and adding hidden fees two weeks before my wedding. This is a very expensive catering company that comes with extremely poor customer service, coordination and communication. To go into more detail about our experience with them: We requested two signature drinks and paid for the extra cost associated with this. They failed to get the lime juice out of the fridge or bring the jalapeños/tajin to make the signature drinks so that was a complete waste of money and failure on their end. Two weeks prior to our wedding they increased our catering quote by $20,000. Thankfully I had the time to check the proposal line by line to see where the extra costs were added in. They charged a significant amount for linens and napkins and double charged for items like the salads that should have been included in the already expensive buffet price. They also tacked on a transportation fee and tent set up fee for nearly $9,000 TWO WEEKS before the wedding. I asked for them to share the quotes from the transportation company and rental company to make sure they weren't increasing the cost. They refused to share the quotes but said that we could source the rentals ourselves. My wedding planner was a huge help getting their required rentals and we ended up saving $5,000. If they knew these items were going to be part of the proposal from the start then they should have had a line item with an estimated cost so we were prepared instead of getting a surprise so close to my event. I will note that their food is delicious and the catering employees in charge of the food were amazing. Our guests raved about them. Unfortunately, the bartenders were extremely rude and our event coordinator was not great about communicating expected costs throughout the planning process.

We are so happy that we worked with Bold for our September 2022 wedding! Our planner said from the start that they were the best caterer in Atlanta, and they certainly did not disappoint. During the tasting, Bold completely blew us away. It was our first tasting and no other caterer even came close to comparing. And while Bold may come at a higher price, it was definitely worth it. We decided on a plated meal of short ribs and salmon, and our guests absolutely loved everything. They have been professional from the start and we’ve appreciated their flexibility with last minute changes. We appreciated working with Bold and would definitely recommend them!

Bold was so professional and masterful in their execution of a plated dinner for ~200. Their service, apps, and attentiveness to our guests were state of the art. The food was just incredible, and a special shoutout to Sue for her attentiveness to us as the bride/groom!

We couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing, and their staff worked hard to make sure all aspects of dining and drinks were taken care of the whole night. Even when they didn't have something I wanted for a specialty drink, they went above and beyond to have it delivered during the wedding reception, to make my drink. :) That's A+ service!

Our wedding food and drinks were absolutely incredible, not to mention incredible services. Our guests continue to rave about how tasty the food was and how the serves and bartenders made them feel so important and their needs were promptly valued and met. As the bride, my husband and I, we had our own server and she was so kind and always asked us throughout the night if we needed anything. She consistently brought us drinks before we even asked and had our plated food ready for us right when everyone sat down so we didn't even have to get up and make our own plate at the buffet. Exceptional service, kind staff, incredible food and drinks. 10/10 would recommend, you won't regret it.

We used the Bold/King Plow team for almost everything on our special day and are so happy with the decision. Living in New York, I have access to a lot of incredible foods and it has turned me into a little bit of a food snob. Most large events/weddings I attend, I am fairly underwhelmed by the food (after all it's difficult to cook great food for 150+ people at one time). I am in awe of how well Bold was able to execute their meals for 150+ people. I had several guests come up to me throughout the night complimenting that their steak was cooked perfectly or their fish was excellent. Most people don't list the food at their wedding as something they will remember, but if you choose Bold, you most definitely will.

I got married at a Bold Catering venue on 1/8/22. The food was wonderful but the customer service provided by Bold was terrible. We initially worked with Danielle. During the tour, I specifically asked her about access to the venue before the wedding and she assured me that we could have access all day on the day of the event. Before I signed the contract I asked Danielle if Bold staff would place the centerpieces I brought on the reception tables when they “flipped” the room during the cocktail hour between the ceremony and the reception. Again, she assured me that this wouldn’t be a problem. As we got closer to the wedding I reached out to Danielle with questions via email. It often took several days to a week to hear anything back from her (even just an acknowledgment that she received my email). When I scheduled our food tasting, I asked Danielle if we could arrive 30 minutes early so my mom could see the venue and we could discuss details with her. Danielle said that was fine and confirmed with me the day before. My parents drove in from out of town to attend the tasting. When we arrived and asked for Danielle, Autumn came out and told us that Danielle was on a flight back to Atlanta and wouldn't be a the tasting. She then asked us why we were there early! A few days later, we were informed by email that Autumn would now be our contact person. I was hoping she would be a little more responsive, but that was not the case. It was like pulling teeth answers to simple things like the width of the tables they provide. Autumn also informed us that we would not be able to access the venue until 3 hours before the event. I explained that I discussed earlier access with Danielle and was told it wouldn’t be a problem but she told me they would not honor that. She also informed me I would have to pay for Bold’s basic design package in order for their staff to place centerpieces on the reception tables. The cost of the basic design package - $1,500. (I had a very small wedding and needed centerpieces placed on 4 tables). For 2 weeks before the wedding I went back and forth with Autumn just trying to find out how to connect my laptop to their sound system – we were told multiple times that we could play music through their system, we just had to plug into it. All I needed to know was how to do that. She told me several times she would have to speak with her “internal team” to find out, then told me I would need to come to the venue to look at it myself. I had to go to the venue 3 days before my wedding to see it just was a standard audio jack. Even our day-of coordinator, who was copied on all of these emails, commented on how unusual it was to not get answers from venue staff. We had an open bar at the reception (we prepaid a flat rate per guest and were billed for overages after the wedding) but the bartender tried to charge our guests for drinks! When my parents told him it was an open bar he argued with them! We had a buffet-style dinner but ordered plated meals for the vegetarians, which were not brought out. My husband had to go to the kitchen and ask for those to be brought out. When researching venues I only found positive reviews for Bold. I can only wonder if our negative experience was because we had such a small wedding that Bold didn't think we were spending enough money with them to get the same type of service as couples who have large, expensive weddings.

We booked Bold for both the catering and decor for our wedding, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our guests were effusive in their praise for the cocktail hour options and the food at the reception. Bold was also a pleasure to work with, always accommodating. Highly recommended!

I can not recommend Bold Events enough! First of all, their food is amazing! I honestly don't think there is anything on the menu that isn't delicious. The presentation was also impressive! All of the staff were so helpful with any questions we had along the way and provided recommendations anytime we needed one. We also used Bold Events for florals and decor and I was blown away by how beautiful everything was! We got married at King Plow Arts Center which required a room flip during cocktail hour and they managed it so quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Bold to all of my family and friends!

Hire Bold Catering IMMEDIATELY. Our guests have absolutely RAVED about the catering at our wedding for many, many months after. The menu, the customization, and the presentation were phenomenal. The A+ treatment at the initial tasting really solidified the deal, not another thought or worry went into catering after this point. They were so easy to work with – Molly was incredible. The professionalism and recommendations provided by Molly really helped my vision of a “stationed” reception come to life – something between a cocktail reception and a plated dinner. If this doesn’t convince you, even the father of the bride is recommending Bold to his friends – that’s saying a lot!!!!!

Every venue I went to asked if we’d go with Bold because they’re “the best.” Turns out they absolutely are. I knew from the tasting one of the things I was most excited about for my own wedding was the quality of the food, and we received compliments all night. Given the intimacy of a Covid wedding, exceptional food really made it feel like my wedding still had all the flair we wanted it to.

We contracted with BOLD Catering, Atlanta, GA. for our daughter's wedding... hors d'oeuvres and reception dinner. Can't speak highly enough about how happy we were with our decision. They are detailed in all their communications, really pleasant & easy to work with, all costs were clearly spelled out with no hidden fees, and the event staff were all very professional. Most importantly, their food was outstanding ...beautifully presented and really delicious! Many, many comments from wedding guests about how excellent all the food selections were. BOLD Catering has our highest recommendation!

Bold was great! We were required to use them with our venue because originally our wedding was going to be on a Saturday. We worked with Michelle and she was very kind and accommodating and willing to bend over backwards for us and communicate with my family’s concerns. We were able to attend a meet and greet event at King Plow to meet Michelle in person for the first time and taste some food. It really helped us narrow down our choices, they have so many selections! Our private tasting went great and any changes we wanted to make she was happy to ask the chef if it was possible. She was very quick to respond and when COVID hit, she was very reassuring and helped us keep our current selections but still make changes that would make our guests feel safe. Michelle went on maternity leave a month before our new wedding date, and at our final walk through there was another representative from Bold. He had a different menu of selections that were not ours and let me know Michelle was out on maternity leave, which I had no clue about and I had just spoken to her a month prior to the walk through. My family had many concerns about postponing our wedding and making changes with catering, so to not be notified that the person we had been communicating with for over the past year was out was very upsetting. I asked for a phone call immediately with our new representative after the walk through so we could clear things up and he had Michelle was on the phone call during her maternity leave. I was so impressed and thankful that she was able to step up and make us feel at ease. On wedding day, the staff was great and food was very good. All in all, I was so impressed with how beautifully everything was handled. We changed from buffet meal to plated meal and we downsized our wedding from 200 guests to 50 guests and Michelle made this transition so easy for us. Thanks again!

My husband and I had our wedding at King Plow and worked with Bold Catering and Bold Design. We worked with Caroline on the Catering side and Jessica on the Design side. The entire experience of working with them was a wonderful. They were so patient and really helped make our wedding day what we had envisioned. Caroline had great ideas about how to make use of the space and what foods would be crowd pleasers. Jessica was wonderful to collaborate with and really created a beautiful space and floral arrangements. Highly recommend working with Bold Catering & Design!

Let’s be honest, food and drinks at a wedding are one of the most important things, and Bold Events most certainly did not disappoint. From the carefully planned tasting to the prompt communication, to the way our dishes were served, everything was absolutely perfect. They created a beautiful display that was not only functional, but aesthetically pleasing as well. Some of our favorite foods we selected were the short ribs, potatoes with truffle oil and arugula, wild mushroom risotto and the totcho station. We served the totchos late-night, thanks to the recommendations of our Bold team, and it was such a hit with our guests! We also served a signature cocktail, a margarita, that the team helped us execute flawlessly. Our VIP server, Tiernan, took amazing care of us, bringing us food and drinks all night long so that we didn’t miss out on the festivities. We are so grateful to Michelle, Tiernan and the rest of the Bold team for making our wedding day food incredible.

Hands down, the best caterer you will find in Atlanta. A member of their team will be assigned to assist you as you plan for your event. They host several general tasting events so that you can try various different food options you may not otherwise think of. They also allow you to have a personal food tasting to plan the menu for your event. The food at our wedding was the best I have ever tasted and the presentation was fabulous! While they are a little pricey, they are worth every penny.

Look no further than BOLD for all of your catering and design needs. We worked with Michelle on the catering side and Jessica on the design side and both were amazing! We had several revisions and LOTS of questions and they always responded promptly and answered all of our questions thoroughly. About the product... our guests have raved and raved for WEEKS saying how wonderful the food was and how beautiful our floral arrangements were. Seriously, hire BOLD. You cannot go wrong with them!

If you want a one-stop shop, or just phenomenal food, for your wedding you MUST use Bold!! They are absolutely FANTASTIC. Both of my husband and my families are out of town, so we need some extra help with the wedding. In addition to amazing food (my guests can't stop talking about it) they also have a great design team! I showed them a Pinterest board of what I had in mind and they mad the board come to life. We also used them for flowers, which were breathtaking! We had a fairly large wedding (around 260) and each person raved about the quality of the food and how it was still hot (they would constantly bring out new trays) I cannot recommend them enough-they truly made our wedding the best day of our lives.

I can testify that Bold catering is very professional and provides high quality service. Our tasting experience was fantastic and really helped us make choices between items on their extensive list of options. My husband & I had a private moment right after the ceremony to just gather our thoughts & Bold had a lovely spread of our appetizers waiting for us - so awesome! We did stations at our wedding and got compliment after compliment on the quality and taste of our food. Bold will even pack a bunch of to-go containers for the bride & groom to take back to the hotel, which was such a wonderful surprise after a long night! I can't thank Alex and her team enough for making this portion of our event so spectacular. We hired Bold catering & decor services for both our rehearsal dinner and reception, and I'm very happy we did! They worked to accommodate our hectic schedules, responded to emails promptly, and made sure all the little details were in place on our big day. Our rehearsal dinner involved "food truck" style stations serving Southern/Atlanta-based restaurant foods, which all of our guests thought was really cool. My husband was not at all interested in helping select food for the reception dinner, believing "it's wedding food, it all just tastes... 'meh'." But he was extremely impressed with every single item we ate and we definitely stuffed our faces with more later that night (they give you a bride/groom to-go box, in case you get too busy having fun!) Our decor team was awesome as well; they actually had a change to the team members mid-way through the planning process, but they made sure to transition everything smoothly and maintain the vision we wanted. I was SO happy with how beautiful everything turned out! It was the perfect mix of rustic elegance. Shout out to Michelle, Kristine, Annie & Staci for making it happen!!!

From the start Kelley with BOLD made the process very streamlined and easy. They are as close to "all-inclusive" as you can get and it made everything so easy. They run like a well oil machine and it makes a bridal able to enjoy her day vs stress! The food was WONDERFUL!! People still rave about it to this day.

Bold was referred to us by our wedding planner and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. The tasting was easy going and fun, and they were open to all the little changes we wanted to make. Their options are so endless that it wasn't easy to pick from all the amazing food they make! On the day of our wedding, our private server took such good care of us. The food was displayed gorgeously, and to this day we still receive compliments on how good everything was. We opted for stations, some with a chef and some without. All in all we only have positive things to say. Book Bold!

We did a southern theme food and apps since we had a lot of guest from up north. Everyone LOVED the food! We also loved it all during the tasting. Bold brought us apps during our private moment and packed our food up at the end of the night (an extra for each of us of all apps, meal, etc.) and I ate it after the wedding when I was starving from having socialized all night. The service was great as well! The favorites were the chicken and waffle apps and then the tangerine chicken and short ribs duo plate with spiralized vegetables and cheesy risotto for dinner.

Bold did both the catering and design for our wedding, as well as the design for our rehearsal dinner and they were absolutely amazing. We had so many compliments about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the decorations were. Alex, Jessica, and all of the staff that helped put the event together were so professional and easy to work with. They made our wedding day absolutely perfect.

Bold American did both Catering and Decor for our wedding. They were phenomenal! They were very involved and made the process and expectations clear throughout the entire wedding journey. When it came to month-of, the fact they were handling such large parts of our wedding made the small details nearly non-existent because they had everything handled. On day off , my husband and I did not see the venue until right before everyone came in. We were blown away!!! Everyone has made beautiful comments over the decorations and how much they loved the food. The food was filled with flavor and the display was perfect. I would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a wedding in the Atlanta area! Take advantage!

Bold catering was the best choice I made for my wedding!! the food was delicious, unique, and well presented. I had a multicultural wedding and no matter where the guest came from they raved about the food!! Kim Pollard is absolutely amazing! she pays attention to every detail including guest allergies and dislikes. they will custom make plates if necessary! I also had them do my groom's cake which was absolutely delicious!!! can't thank Kim and her team enough!!

Exceptional in every way. That is the only way that I can describe our experience in working with BOLD catering. We hired Molly Irwin and her staff to cater my daughter's Memorial Day weekend (5/2018) wedding. The professionalism and organization of this group was phenominal. We opted for 4 different chef driven food stations and a dessert bar. Prior to the wedding, we posted our menu on my daughter's wedding website. So many people emailed or texted us with comments on how wonderful the menu looked. It definitely sparked conversation prior to the event! The final product was superb. Every item offered was 5 star....and there were a lot of food items offered! I have been to many weddings, most with average food/presentation....definately nothing to remember after the event.....a side show to the reception. This experience was completely different. People talked about the food all evening! I am still hearing from guests 2 weeks after our event. At the onset of the planning for this event, my daughter, her fiancée, my husband and I wanted two things for our guests: a fabulous meal in a beautiful setting and awesome entertainment. BOLD Catering delivered beyond our expectations. They provided for our guests a unique exceptional meal....you can not ask for more than that! Lori Dessecker

Bold Catering is well worth the money you pay! The food is absolutely delicious, and my husband and I did not spend more than 30 seconds without a drink in our hand before a staff member brought us another glass of whatever we were drinking!

I'll start by saying we got so many compliments about the catering and how great it was from our guests! We used Bold for the venue and catering (at King Plow Arts Center), which was a GREAT decision. Since their kitchens are at the venue, everything was made on site, making the food even more delicious. Chef Dwayne made the best meal! From the initial planning with tastings and menu development to the day of executive, Bold was wonderful. Our menu fit us as a couple and everyone loved it! We did our cake and desserts with them as well and we couldn't be happier we did! Dessert was the most important part to us and they delivered! They are packed to-go boxes of everything for my husband and I to enjoy afterward, which we definitely did. THANK YOU so much!

The food was fabulous and the VIP servers made sure that the groom and I had all that we needed on the night of our wedding. Our guests loved the variety and we loved how much Megan worked with us to provide a great menu.

Amazing food and service for the whole event. They planned a meticulous menu, and executed it perfectly. Catering was easily the most expensive part of the wedding, but the end result was well worth the price!

Bold American catered our wedding and did an absolutely fantastic job. Ashley and her team handled the entire wedding and everything went like clockwork. We had our wedding reception at our house and they set up a full kitchen and were able to cook, plate, and serve a wonderful sit down meal for our reception that our guests were raving about. Ashley set up a lovely tasting for us to make the tough decisions of what to serve at the wedding. The whole experience was very easy and they certainly came through for us.

Overall, Bold's food was AMAZING. We had a plated dinner service for our wedding, and the wait staff seemed to serve the table beautifully (all guests at a table were served at once, instead of some and then others later). The only challenge we had with catering was on the day of - our "family style" mac n cheese portions were pretty small and didn't really serve the whole table (and often were placed in front of a single guest, which made the guest think it was all for them - I had a few guests tell me that they didn't get any mac n cheese as the tables didn't realize it was for all), we had some catering delays in the beginning of our reception which caused us to go 30 minutes over time and cost us a few extra thousand dollars that we didn't budget for, unfortunately, and the dessert table was setup without our cake slices and without dessert plates to start (apparently they were brought out later, but in the meantime many of our guests came up to us complaining that there were no plates for them to get dessert)... So, a couple of issues, but food was really good, so that's important. And, they packaged up a bunch of the food for me and my husband, which was waiting for us in the hotel room that night, and that was perfect. I would definitely recommend Bold for catering just because their food is so good, but make sure all details of the wedding day are confirmed by your coordinators and catering leads to try and avoid some issues like we had.

Bold American is unbelievable! They did the catering for our wedding and we were amazed. Bold is worth every penny. We heard from so many guests that the food was the best they had ever had. The best part was that my husband and I actually got to eat the good because of the VIP servers Bold provided ! They are true professionals and not only have a lot of variety on their menu but have truly delicious food.

We were thrilled with our experience with Bold Catering for our daughter's wedding!! They went above and beyond our wildest dreams in catering dinner for over 200 people. The food was scrumptious and raved about by all our guests! The servers were extremely professional, friendly, and proficient. Throughout the whole planning process, Bold Catering partnered with us to ensure that our wedding would be executed to their highest standards and our highest expectations ... and they lived up to their promises. We didn't have to worry about a thing - every detail was attended to and we are left with the most wonderful memories of the evening. We highly recommend Bold Catering!!

We used Bold as our caterer for our wedding at Summerour Studio and it was phenomenal! Michelle was awesome to work with, she was always quick to respond and willing to answer our questions. The customer service on the day of was amazing, they got everyone to the buffet seamlessly with plenty of food to eat! We had a VIP server during the event that always made sure we had food and drinks throughout the night. I had no idea it was possible for a bride and groom to leave their wedding stuffed!! On top of all of that, so many of our guests told us that our food was the best wedding food they had ever had!

I never expected for the food & the decor to exceed my expectations! I heard over and over "most beautiful wedding ever been to" and "best food I have ever had." It was a dream come to life. The short ribs and mac & cheese were the fan favorites. The trees, the candles, the romantic atmosphere was exactly what I had envisioned and more!

We can't say enough great things about how amazing the food was at our wedding! All the guests were raving about it! They were a pleasure to work with and they made sure everything was set up just the way we wanted it on our wedding day! Highly recommend!!

Bold was the required caterer for Summerour Studio, so we couldn't work with other caterers. Our biggest issue was Bold's initial quote being much lower than what we actually paid for buffet stations. Second issue was with our account manager Ashley who wouldn't admit or apologize for misquoting us, but was not helpful in the planning process. She wasn't prompt in responses to our emails and for how much we're paying Bold, I expected her to be more consultive on suggestions to work with our budget. I also found her standoff-ish and rude during our wedding walkthrough. We tried to ask for a different account manager but Bold was unbending. Lastly, Bold's software for quotes is messed up and our account manager couldn't explain how the math works. While the account manager was very much 1-star, the day of the event balanced this to the 3-star rating I'm giving Bold. The food was maybe a 4 (pork loin was overcooked) and I feel like the staff was quick to throw food away. Service from the staff, especially the VIP server (we had Sue) was such a good idea that we tipped her well. Even though things were ok on wedding day, I wouldn't recommend Bold for how much of a pain they were to work with.

So good!!! We are still getting compliments on the food over a month later! Everything was delicious. Pricey, but worth the money for excellent food and service

Bold is the best! People are still talking about the food from my wedding a month later!! Miranda was our sales rep, and was a true partner in helping me get to the perfect food selection that still met my budgetary needs. She invited my now husband and I, and my parents to the tastings that Bold has every few months so we could really get a feel for what we liked. She encouraged us to think through and make notes on little changes where we saw fit, and sent many suggestions throughout the process with no pressure. She eliminated and added, and requoted until we really came to the perfect food/cost for our guests. My folks & I are primarily vegetarian, but wanted to give guests a nice variety, & Bold delivered! The set up was so elegant as well, & Miranda & team were available for the walk through & flexible to day of adjustments in arrangement. At the end of the night, we had our own to-go bag, & so did my parents! So great. I've loved hearing how our guests enjoyed the food so much, and that for many it's the best they've ever had at a wedding! Phenomenal! The most amazing food. ALL our guests raved about the food - and still continue to do so 6 weeks later! First, Bold offers every type of food: vegetarian, chicken, steak, seafood. Traditional foods, new creations, fusion cuisines -- any international cuisine to down home Southern food. Carving stations, slider stations, serve-yourself stations, attendant stations, big meals, finger foods, standard plated meals, the whole gamut. Whatever you want. I think we could have thrown a dart at their menu options and been perfectly delighted. Second, their display of the food was exquisite. Everything was beautiful, elegant, and so picturesque I didn't want anyone to eat!! Third, the executive chef himself came to meet and greet us during our tasting session. He gave us a free meat and cheese sampler. The week of the event, he rearranged (with our approval, of course) some of the stations to improve the aesthetics of the food displays and the guest flow to and around the food. Fourth, they were so accommodating. They were able to do everything we asked, and improved most of them. They were quick, polite and graceful with their food delivery and switching. We were extremely impressed by Bold American Catering. We can't wait for another event to utilize their services and eat that yummy food again!! Oh - and I can't forget the cake. My hubby and I thought we'd get a traditional flavor cake for the reception, so for the tasting session we picked the ginger cake and said "surprise us with whatever icing would go well with it." He and I joked we should ask for the pumpkin icing (because it was an early November wedding and I love all things pumpkin), but we left it up to Bold. Wouldn't you know they made us ginger cake with pumpkin icing! And it was SO YUMMY that we ended up choosing THAT as our wedding cake!! It sounds gross, but it was heavenly and everyone loved it! Their pastry chef is a rockstar!

So my husband and I have been told that we had the BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER. This is all owed to the fabulous chefs with Bold American. We were convinced of their talents at a tasting and could not wait to share them with our friends and family. Kelley worked tirelessly with me to create the perfect menu that fused my southern roots with my groom's New Orleans upbringing. The result was perfect. Everyone left with a happy belly! I have to recommend the Donut went down to Georgia dessert station--my friends are still talking about this. It was the perfect sweet treat and amazing alternative to cake! The design team must also be recognized as well. They nailed my vision of simplicity and rustic elegance and were able to work within my budget. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly as I envisioned. This team really set the stage for what turned out to be an amazing day and I can't say enough great things. Thank you BAE : )

Our wedding was 2 weeks ago, and I'm still getting raves on how good the food was. Ashley U and the bold staff was awesome. The presentation, price and the "Food"....We were highly impressed. If, catering is needed again. We will definitely choose Bold American Catering.

Best caterer there is! The food was just as amazing the night of our wedding as it was when we sampled it the first time. Michelle was a delight to work with, and responded promptly to each and every one of my many emails. We went with the southern buffet, and all of our guest left with full bellies, and were raving about how delicious everything was. They provided us with hors d'oeuvres, a VIP server (Sue - who made sure the happy couple always had drinks and food), dinner and then cut our cake and served our guest. If I ever have an another event, they will be the first company I contact.

We had our dream wedding at King Plow Arts Center with Bold American Events! The food was so delicious and the decor was stunning. My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams and it was beautiful. We look forward to our next party we can plan with Bold American Events.

Bold American is beyond one of Atlanta's best caterers! Their quality of food as well as taste and originality are what make them a showstopper. My guests raved over the menu at my reception - thanks to Bold American and their staff for making my celebration unforgettable!

Molly and the rest of the Bold American team were incredible to work with. We had some tricky menu requests for our Kenyan-American wedding, and they were so accommodating in practicing and learning new recipes, as well as helping us strategize a good balance of traditional vs. adventurous foods to offer to keep guests happy. So many guests told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and I have to agree! Also love that my husband and I had our own server, who ensured we had food and drink steadily, during cocktail hour and at the reception. We heard tales that the bride & groom often don't get to eat at their own wedding, but we got to enjoy everything! Molly was wonderful in helping us execute a delicious party that was within our budget--no pressure or up-selling, just genuine desire to make us as happy as possible. Can't recommend Bold American highly enough!

Our guests are still raving about how delicious our meal was! We highly recommend the beef short ribs and the warm spinach salad! Bold American is a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money - everything was absolutely wonderful and they were a joy to work with!

Bold American was a huge part of our day! We knew from the very beginning that we wanted the best food and beautiful flower with a team that was large and skilled enough to not only conceptualize but implement and that knew our reception site very well. Catering - The team was exceptional. The food was to die for. Seriously, I had never known for people to go back 3, 4+ times to the buffet but they did for our wedding. When the plates started disappearing the team brought more - little things that if not paid attention to become big things. I've heard so many great compliments on the food and not to mention when we had our own 'date' and got to try everything we were in heaven. We couldn't pick a favorite item. Molly and team really did listen to us and recommend the best options from chargers, to napkin colors, etc. for our design and the feel we wanted for our wedding. Staff, servers, were polite and attentive. A joy to work with. Floral/Event Design- I love flowers! And I love decorating and design. So this piece was HUGE for me. I wanted lots of greenery and a room full of floral! Bold definitely delivered! Working with Kristine and Karoline was awesome. They were very patient with me and listened to me to make sure I was getting what I wanted. The candlelight, romantic, garden but elegant feel was captured and the hanging floral installment over the head table OMG! It was beyond gorgeous. Seriously magazine worthy. Jaw dropping. I wish I had more time to just sit and stare at it.... I could have done that all evening. They killed design and truly transformed Summerour into an already beautiful venue to a breathtaking one. There wasn't a single place in the venue that you couldn't sense Bold's presence. Bold thank you! Thank you for making our ceremony and reception gorgeous in every way and for having a team of professionals that are easy to work with but highly skilled in what they do. We will be forever grateful.

BEST wedding food! You've read it in other reviews, but it's true! My husband and I are foodies, so the food at our wedding was very important to us. Bold American Events (and Molly) were wonderful. The food not only looked amazing but tasted even better. We are STILL hearing that the food at our wedding was the best ever! Thanks, Bold American!

Bold American catered our wedding on 8/22/15. There are so many amazing things to say about the staff the evening of the wedding and the food itself! Almost every guest said this was by far the best wedding food they've ever had and our personal attendant for the evening was wonderful. However, the customer service provided by the new catering manager was horrendous. When I originally contracted with Bold, Virginia was our catering manager and she was wonderful. During the months leading up to our wedding, Virginia decided to leave Bold and we trusted we would be in good hands. There was a change with our wedding planner and we ended up taking over the catering management. The new manager was not willing to provide me with any information regarding the proposal and why the proposals continued to change by a significant amount each time I was sent a new copy. There was at least one occasion on which I had to correct her math (which obviously would have been in Bold's favor) because she was calculating taxes and service charges incorrectly. When we met with her, she made both my now husband and I feel like we were not important since our wedding was on the smaller side and barely hit the minimums for the evening. No one should be made to feel like this when spending THOUSANDS on food for their wedding. We had several fluctuations the week before the wedding and the manager ended up charging us for two additional people when in fact we had many less than the guaranteed guest count attend and I notified her of these fluctuations immediately. There was no additional charge incurred by Bold, no additional food ordered, no additional time spent. She had the opportunity to be flexible and courteous but instead became extremely rude over a $100 charge. At our wedding, she walked right past my now husband and I several times, not once acknowledging our presence or coming to speak to us. I expect common sense to play a role here and considering how many thousands of dollars are spent on catering, the fact that she became so rude over a $100 charge is incomprehensible. Our overall positive outlook on this company was completely tarnished by one person's very poor attitude and complete lack of understanding for what it means to be in the services industry. For this reason, I would never recommend Bold American Catering to another bride unless they were dealing with a different catering manager, which is an absolute shame considering the quality of the food.

We worked with Molly from Bold American and the experience was perfect. From our initial meeting, to the tasting, until the day of our wedding, she worked tirelessly to make sure we were happy and that everything was to our standards. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the best food I have ever had. Our guests raved about every dish and went back for seconds and thirds! Their staff was professional and was on point all night making sure we were happy. It was worth every penny.

I am so happy that we chose Bold American for our wedding caterer. They were a little pricey and I spent more than planned on catering, but it was well worth it. Our wedding was at a historic Southern home so we went with the Southern menu. The food was amazing! Many of our guests told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.

I hired Bold American to do my catering and decor at Summerour Studio in Atlanta. We worked together closely for the year and a half that I was engaged. They were amazing to work with, very patient as I made changes and was indecisive with many things. The decor was incredible. They created the most wonderful floral arrangements! From the lights, to the branches above the tables, the ribbons on the stairs, and lanterns on the ceiling every last detail was amazing. The food from Bold american catering was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I spent 2 weeks after the wedding asking everyone I could what their favorite parts of the wedding were, and EVERY single person told me the food without hesitation! Many people told me with no doubt it was the best wedding food they had ever had. My husband and I love food and wanted our wedding to truly show that and boy did it ever. Bold also made sure that my groom and I were well taken care of, we had our own server to make us plates of food, bring us drinks, and pack up everything we didn't get a chance to try in a giant bag and put it in our going away car with a bottle of champagne. We had a feast of all the delicious food at 1 am after a night of dancing! I could not be more thrilled with Bold American and would recommend you let them make your day perfect for you, just as they did mine!

Brynn helped us along the way with all of the planning and tasting. She was very helpful and friendly! The food that night was the talk of the wedding. Everyone loved all of the food. The ice cream sundae bar was a huge hit too. Everything was excellent!

I had my dream wedding at Studio 887 on Cinco de Mayo. The venue is really different, with high ceilings, brick walls covered in tea lights, open kitchen and a lofted second floor. We chose to do a mexican themed buffet, and the food was to die for! It was such a breeze having the ceremony, reception, food & beverage all taken care of by Bold. If you are looking for a different feel for your wedding, choose Studio 887.

Bold American is a great choice for couples who want food beyond just a buffet. They cook on site which made everything fresh and hot! The food was amazing, and I got rave reviews from several guests. We choice a more homecooked, Southern menu, but they have several options of types of menues and options of quantity. One downside is they are very pricey, but in the end probably worth it to have amazing food to serve our loved ones.

Hands down - completely got my vision, made it more beautiful than I could have imagined - DONT CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE!!

I can't express how happy I am that Bold was able to cater our wedding! Their food was incredible and their staff was awesome! They also helped me throughout the whole wedding planning process and worked so well with my venue! I can't thank them enough for helping to create such a wonderful wedding day for us!!!

First of all, I hope if you are looking for caterers that you take advantage of the free tastings. I will admit that after our first tasting at Bold American, we didn't sample anything else - it was SO good! We had actually tried some of their amazing food at Taste of Atlanta before we were even engaged and while we didn't want to be awkward we both looked at each other knowing we wanted them for our wedding! I worked with Mia and Megan Wentz. Both are fantastic! They also did our rehearsal dinner. All of our guests and family were raving about the food for both nights, we even got a to-go box for us to take to the hotel the night of our wedding! We had a personal waiter, Carlos, who made sure we were taken care of the entire night. I only wish I had another event that I could use them for!

The food was delicious, and exactly what I wanted. I was very particular about the menu, and they let me get it just how I wanted with no difficulty. Having our own personal server at the reception was perfect! Everyone at Bold was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was how many extra non-food costs there were; though I expect other companies are probably similar.
