We used Kelsie for wedding hair last week. I had gone to her house to do hair for my bridal portraits a couple months back and she was great!
I knocked off 2 stars because:
Earlier in the week, she had sent me a time slot schedule for weddin...
g day and we were supposed to start at 12:00pm....12:15 rolls around and she is nowhere to be found. Won’t answer calls or texts. Finally after continuously calling her, I get a text saying there’s been a “schedule change” and she’ll be there at 1pm. I was irritated to say the least, not knowing if she overslept, forgot, etc. I was worried that if she showed at 1 there wouldn’t be enough time. We were ready to drive to the local salon and just have somebody else do our hair.
BUT she showed up and came through...everyone’s hair turned out great, all hair held up through the high humidity.
One of my bridesmaids heard Kelsie had booked 2 other weddings that day, prior to mine and that’s why she was late.
I thought it was very unprofessional not to respond to your client that’s clearly freaked out, and not to AT LEAST text/call to let you know she’s running behind BEFOREhand.
But besides that, she did great and everybody looked amazing!
