Bonaventure Resort & Spa

My husband and I recently got married on March 3rd and we used Bonaventure Resort and Spa and we are so happy we did. It was wonderful and they did everything for us and they were so professional. The best part of our experience was Nikki the catering Manager. She is absolutely WONDERFUL and goes above and beyond to make your day special and you feel like you are the only person on the planet. You won't be sorry choosing Bonaventure as your venue...trust me it is worth it. I love Nikki to death and can't say enough good things about her and her planning abilities.

We could’ve not chosen a better venue for our wedding! Nikki was exceptional and extremely helpful. The staff, the food and the service was superb! Extremely happy with our experience!

Our wedding at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa on 4/23/17 was AMAZING and we're so glad we decided to book our event there!! First of all, I have to give a huge thanks to Nikki, the social catering manager, who did an incredible job throughout the whole process! She was so helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and on the day of the wedding, she kept the entire day running smoothly! And the banquet staff as well as all of the hotel staff were so great! Our family and friends had an incredible time at the wedding and everyone that stayed at the hotel had a great experience as well! We had about 75 people at our wedding and they all had nothing but wonderful things to say about the event, the food (which was delicious), and how organized everything was! I highly recommend the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. We couldn't be happier!! Best day ever!!

We just celebrated our marriage at the Bonaventure Resort 3/11/17 and it was the best weekend ever. Nikki Sullivan is the new wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing, attentive , and so understanding. I had arrived at the hotel Thursday and stayed through the weekend, our wedding was Saturday night. We had out of town guests who stayed with us. We had arranged a poolside lunch Friday which went great. Nikki was present to all of our family needs. We had our rehearsal for our ceremony which was outside on the terrace, that all went very smooth as the coordinators helped arrange the lineup for the ceremony. Nikki checked on me numerous times to see if I needed anything which was appreciative. The resort had given us a separate room to use to keep our wedding decor boxes in and use for whatever we needed. Our reception took place in the society lounge. An awesome room and fit perfectly to our 1920s theme. I was allowed access to this room multiple times throughout the weekend and early in the morning to prepare my own decorations. The banquet coordinator and Nikki were so helpful and arranged all the last minute details for while I was getting ready. Everything went as planned. When we entered into the room it was beautifully set up with perfect lighting and everything the way I had asked. My guests raved to me about everything including the food which was delicious! We chose the filet and the chicken florentine. All the staff including the bartender was happy and excited for us. After the reception we had a late night dinner put out for our guests in the bar zen located in the lobby. The food was yummy- I liked the mini burgers. It was feeling to eat after all the celebrating. The banquet staff cleaned up all the decor from the reception and placed it neatly in the spare room given to us, we appreciated being able to eat with our guests instead of cleaning up afterwards. When I arrived back to our room afterwards, Nikki had left us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. She emailed me the next day to make sure everything had went perfect and it was. Choosing the Bonaventure resort was the perfect venue for the most perfect and memorable weekend of my life. I also had used the Alaya salon for my hair the day of. Christopher is the best! He did such a great job of creating my vintage look. My bridal party was so happy with all their hairstyles as well. Also Javier the outside bartender did an amazing job dealing with my rowdy family. Thanks for putting up with us! Thank you Nikki and Bonaventure for helping create lasting memories for all to share!

Beautiful place to get married :) The staff is so nice, helpful, and friendly!!! I worked with Giselle for my wedding and she is the BEST!!! She went above and beyond to make my day extra special for me. She helped me organize many details- big and little. I will actually miss working with her-it was fun. She is super sweet, professional, and gets the job done. She organized all my vendors arriving and helped organize a successful (and beautiful) backup plan when it rained the day of my wedding. Dawn (so nice!)at Bar Zen took care of my bridal party the night of the rehearsal. The food was delicious- from cocktail hour to reception. Tony the banquet captain is AWESOME! Staff just went out of their way to make everything beautiful. Thank you to Bonaventure Resort and Spa.

This venue went above and beyond to do anything and everything I wanted and needed. Everything was coordinated well. They provided two different holding rooms so that my hubby wouldn't see me before the event and the guys would have a room separate from the suite they gave us so they could all get ready. The coordinator was very nice, responded to emails quickly and efficiently. I have nothing but great things to say. This venue made all my dreams a reality.

The venue is beautiful!! The wedding packages offered give such a wide range of choices for brides and grooms on any budget. The special events coordinator on site was such a pleasure to work with, and always very patient and thorough with answering questions and accommodating desires. For a weekend weeding, it was a perfect location for local "destination" wedding getaway.

We got married May 3, 2014 and we would not have picked a better venue. Bonaventure is beautiful! But what really won us over was the food and staff. Everyone on the staff was kind, helpful, and attentive. They catered to the needs of all of our guests. They really went above and beyond to help out. The food was delicious! There was so much food included in the package. We had our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant Ireland's, and it was simply amazing! We are so grateful to Enrique (Ireland's manager) and Kristen Beer (the wedding coordinator). They really worked hard to make our wedding an incredible event.

Our wedding at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa was incredible. We were married on November 10, 2013, and Kristin Beer was our coordinator. Kristin was fabulous to work with and made sure every detail was perfect. It was incredibly convenient and enjoyable to have my entire bridal party's hair and make-up done at the spa the morning of our wedding. The spa is absolutely beautiful. We were married outside, and the rainforest setting is gorgeous. We held our cocktail hour inside due to weather, and the lounge is an awesome setting. It has old black and white photos of movie stars and a really great vibe. The reception ballroom area was all recently renovated with new carpeting and paint, and they were lovely too. The food at our wedding was DELICIOUS!!! We were happy with every single dish as were our guests. We had the opportunity to do a full tasting prior to the event, and the food was just as great the day of the wedding for 150+ people. Our cake from Edda's Bakery was also scrumptious! We truly had a fairy tale wedding at the Bonaventure, and our guests had a fantastic time. If there was any downside whatsoever, it's that the hotel rooms need to be renovated. The spa and reception areas are sparkling clean and beautiful, but the hotel rooms are not quite on the same 5 star level. They are certainly okay to stay in, but could use some updating. I highly recommend the Bonaventure Resort and Spa! It is a spectacular venue for any special occasion!

I work in the " BIZ" and I have to Honestly say that John Dillis is one of the greatest Catering directors I have worked with! Just salt of the Earth .. someone you want to hang out with on the weekends ... very professional knows his business when his wedding is going on don't step in the middle of it cause he will not stand for it. John, Howard and I can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. all n all it was beautiful THANKS TO YOU. WE OWE IT ALL TO YOU.

Bonaventure Resort and Spa was not only a beautiful venue, they were perfect. What made it a perfect venue was the coordinator, Kristin Beer. She was there for us every step of the way. She provided us with everything we needed and made us feel so comfortable. My whole wedding morning was completely stress free because of her and her team. They also had so many places to take beautiful pictures we ran out of time getting them! They have a spa area for pictures, a really nice bar, and our cocktail hour was right on the golf course. Our gusts raved about the cocktail hour location (we were at the tiki bar). Words cannot express how beautiful and perfect our wedding was because of our venue. Bonaventure Resort and Spa knows how its done!

Everyone from the first day we looked at the property to the wedding night was awesome! I would highly recommend!

Bonaventure truly exceeded our expectations! They hosted the perfect dream wedding! The outdoor cocktail hour was perfect in the rain forest, with beautiful lush trees and even a swan swimming in the lake. The reception ballroom looked beyond beautiful!! Everything was breathtaking! The food caterer was amazing and helped create the most perfectly delicious meal! They went above and beyond and paid attention to all the little details to make sure we had an amazing night! They even decorated our honeymoon suite so beautifully, with chocolate covered strawberries, rose petals, and "to go" meals from the wedding. LOVE!

These hotels are great for your guests and their poolside bar is where we all went after out rehersal dinner for a couple of drinks. I would highly suggest this place!

We recently were married at Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston. It was the perfect place for our wedding since most of our guests were from out of town and absolutely loved the hotel! The service and food was amazing - cannot say enough good things about Jennifer, our catering manager. The only down fall was the weather (it rained), but the hotel set everything up inside and it was as pretty as it could be inside. The outside grounds are gorgeous so hopefully it will not rain during your wedding.

It was a great place for our wedding! Our planner, Cory, was so sweet and we really enjoyed working with him! Only problem was that they asked us how many people we were inviting to the wedding and didn't explain to us that we had to pay for that amount of people. We knew that many wouldn't come, but that was the number of invitations going out. They would not refund us the THOUSANDS of dollars we were out, so we had to find other ways to spend it toward the wedding.

The location is beautiful! Great picture taking spots. Jillian did a great job answering all my questions and leading/organizing the ceremony. The only complaint I have is there were some fees added to my total right before the wedding that were not clearly stated in the contract.

honestly i love every single thing about my reception venue, and the best of all was the personel that work there, they are amazing and make you feel as special as that day is for you. You forgetabout problems or worries, cause they take careof everything and make that day just PERFECT!

The service was great. And the food exceptional.

Ed & Patty at the Bonaventure Country Club were so wonderful to work with! The overall atmosphere of the club was gorgeous. They made my wedding day (and my wedding planning) extremely easy for me. And they did everything they could to keep me calm, collected, and comfortable on my wedding day.

I loved the Society Room which is where we had our cocktail hour. The room we had the reception in was very roomie and was exactly what we were looking for. I loved the wedding director. (Cory Green);The only problems that I had with this establishment was that it was a little hard to get in contact with the wedding director at first and we also did not recieve the exact food that we had asked for. We asked for filet mignon and we got prime rib...the chicken that we had at the tasting was a little different from the one we had the night of the wedding...don't get me wrong it still tasted good but it wasn't what we had asked for.
