Wedgewood staff was the best, their event staff is responsive and understand the stress we had as the wedding came closer and we’re willing to hear us out. Pricing was fair as packages and options were customizable day or coordinators Ingrid and Jasmine were absolutely fabulous. Communication is everything when you’re planning a wedding and they are easy and FUN to talk to. One stop shop to having your dream wedding with beautiful views . Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding at Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings and it exceeded all our expectations. The surrounding views offered a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and the reception felt intimate and cozy. The team made sure every detail was perfect. We had our wedding in May at Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood, and it was an absolutely stunning and beautiful venue. We loved having our ceremony overlooking the beautiful golf course, and the combination of the indoor event space and outdoor lawn area was perfect for our wedding reception. The team at Wedgewood Boulder Ridge was very friendly and helpful during the planning process, making it easy for us to stay organized and make sure that we had everything we needed figured out for our big day. Shout out to Karyn and Alyssa for helping throughout the planning and coordination process! They provided quick and timely responses to all of our questions. We had several of our guests mention to us that our wedding was the nicest wedding they'd ever been to, and the credit for much of that goes to the team at Wedgewood Boulder Ridge. Our guests really enjoyed the food and beverages, and the vendors that they coordinated with on our behalf all did a fantastic job - especially I Do Wedding Cakes, yum! Thank you to Boulder Ridge and the rest of the team for all of your help on our big day!

The venue was amazing! Gorgeous location and fantastic staff that took care of everything. The whole wedding was smooth and easy with little stress.

We had a really amazing experience at Wedgewood Boulder Ridge. From the day we toured the venue with Angela, we had a good feeling that this was the place for us. Angela, Karyn, and Alyssa were all phenomenal to work with. I had so many questions and was frequently emailing or calling for clarification, but every interaction I had with them was great. They were always kind and professional, answering my questions and reassuring me that things would work out. We are from out of town and the team made the planning process flexible for us. The venue is absolutely stunning. We had a completely outdoor reception and everything was beautiful. The rolling hills and sunset were like a dream. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of their vendors (florals and DJ) could be better.

Our Wedgewood bartender had a medical emergency during the wedding and our guests had to perform CPR on the ceremony lawn... Our coordinator mentioned afterward that the bartender was feeling ill earlier in the day, which makes me wonder why they would let her carry on for the rest of the day -- especially during this time and age when covid is still a serious concern. There's a lack of sympathy for their employees and a lack of concern for their guests. Several of our guests were doctors and nurses who were pretty shaken up after the event as they all assumed the bartender passed away after 15-30 minutes without a pulse. The ambulance was called, but took a long time to get there, indicating that there was not a great emergency plan in place (if at all). Keep this in mind if you are planning on having older guests in attendance that are susceptible to medical issues as they may not receive the help they need in time. I'm only writing this review because Wedgewood still has not acknowledged the issues we raised through the survey they provided at the end of the event. The two stars are for the beautiful venue, good food, and excellent coordination. Not sure if anyone is willing it all just for that though...

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue, this staff, and the incredible wedding we had there. Throughout the entire process, the planners at Boulder Ridge were incredible. They are kind, so knowledgeable, and so responsive. The packages that are completely customizable were the best thing, too! Having the vendors (with amazing reviews) built into our packages made the 8 month wedding planning process a breeze!!! I never stressed about finding a florist, a photographer, a DJ, officiant, or baker. It was AMAZING. I cannot say enough great things about this venue, our experience, and the vendors that come with this venue. Our wedding was truly the best day ever because of Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings. The pricing was so difficult to beat as well. We had the wedding of our dreams and stayed within the budget thanks to Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings.

This place has a great view that amazed all of our guests. The reception area was also very beautiful as-is, so we didn't need to spend much money making it look nice. We just added some drapery around the sweetheart table, and that's about it. In some other venues we felt the reception would need several hundred or even a thousand dollars just to make it an attractive space. The food at this venue was pretty mediocre. The staff were great, and the venue has valet parking included for the day of the wedding (this is probably less convenient for guests but it made them feel special).

Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Wedding was the venue of our dreams! We spent so much time looking for venues and doing research but nothing stuck with us. The moment we set foot at the location, my husband and I looked at each other and were like "yup, this is the one". We had an outdoor wedding and the view is breathtaking. They also have an indoor option, and you can still use the outdoor space. It's set on top of a golf course, overlooking the hills of San Jose. All the staff at Boulder Ridge were so easy to work with. We had a budget that they helped us meet while still having the wedding of our dreams. The best part is that it is an all inclusive venue. They take care of decorations, food, photo booth, DJ, and provide a day of coordinator. All we had to do is show up. Took a weight off of our shoulders. I especially have to give a shoutout to Heather and Melody, who were so amazing and friendly and made our life so much easier. They made sure that everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. And it went off without a glitch. We all had a blast and I can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend booking this venue for your occasion.

We visited another wedding venue, Hakone Estate and Gardens, before we decided to go with Boulder Ridge. The big difference is Boulder Ridge offers different all-inclusive packages. They have the vendors for cake, food, decoration, flowers, photography (not included), etc. We tried to call around for food catering and cake vendors because we wanted to serve Indonesian food with a unique cake flavor. But, in the end, not many of them could cater on our date. A lot of phone tags as well. So, then, when we met and had a tour with Heather at the end of October 2021, we decided this was it. We love the outdoor and indoor spaces. Heather is such a warm and friendly person. She took us through what would happen every step of the way (cake tasting, food tasting, decoration, flowers, the credits for wedding invitations, etc.) and answered a lot of our questions. We only wanted to do a wedding reception, no ceremony and everything worked out well. After paying the initial deposit and deciding on the date, come November 2021, we were given a detail binder containing all the thorough info that we needed to know. So, our wedding date is February 2022. Only 3 months for planning, which is sufficient with Wedgewood because they are very thorough and organized. Karyn and Heather provided exceptional service. They truly love their work and it shows during our planning visits and the day of the event. They answered our emails, phone calls, and questions thoroughly. We had no stress when dealing with Wedgewood because they have scheduled dates and they made sure everything was complete during the meeting. They were very accommodating with everything that we wanted and some changing plans. On the day of the event, Karyn was very attentive. She made sure that we were relaxed, got us drinks when we were taking pictures outside with our families, constantly checked in with us, and got us each two plates of food when the food was served to make sure that we ate (I have heard bride and groom usually end up not eating during the event). We are very grateful to have Karyn on the day of the event. She made our wedding amazing! The event captain was very organized in making sure all items were picked up and gathered on the cart when the event ended. All the internal vendors are truly amazing as well. Shawna, the flower pieces are very beautiful, Debbie, the cake is very delicious, and Pierre, the 80's songs are perfect! We got the photo booth, which was super fun for everyone at the event, had our own photography service, and had a harpist. It is now June 2022. we can still remember that day clearly where we danced until the end of the event. We highly recommend Boulder Ridge. They make our wedding planning so easy and no stress. My wife and I just had our wedding (05/27/2022) at Boulder Ride by Wedgewood Weddings and it was amazing! From start to finish it was everything we dreamed of. The sales and planning team for Wedgewood Weddings were very helpful with making this day amazing for us. Due to the all-inclusive setup the company offers, it allowed us to focus more on the specialized details of the wedding; floral, decor, favors, etc. Throughout the entire process, the planning and sales team was with us every step of the way. They even provided us with a day of coordinator, which allowed us to have a stress free rehearsal and wedding day! We highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings, specifically Boulder Ridge! This view at this venue was what sealed the deal for us in choosing it! From the ceremony lawn, you're able to see; Mt. Umunhum, the Almaden Valley, Communications Hill, and the Downtown San Jose Skyline. From the breathtaking views to the elegant ambiance of the reception Pavilion, Bolder Ridge gave all of our guests, including my wide and I, an unforgettable night and experience!

Such a great experience with this venue and staff overall. Sierra made the process so easy by helping us choose what we wanted in our Elite package and adjusted anything we wanted to add on or take off. Our day of coordinator Heather made it an even greater experience, she went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and always made sure we had everything perfect and in line. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day than what we had. Super grateful for this team and grateful to have had the greatest coordinator to help us the day of.

This is a BEAUTIFUL venue. The view is SPECTACULAR and perfect for any event. The staff is awesome! Super helpful and always available to answer questions. The price was reasonable compared to other venues, and included great vendors (cake, flowers, DJ service).

Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings was our first venue my wife and I went to. It's no surprise that we had to look no further after our consultation with them. They are everything you desire in an affordable, accommodating, and beautiful venue. My wife and I chose the elite package which we highly recommend, it included SO many perks that took care of countless necessities for our special day which made planning a breeze. The flowers the vendor from the venue provided were outstandingly elegant, the food was to die for, and the views were breath taking to say the least! Our event experts, Lauren, Karyn, Heather, and Sierra were so friendly, made us feel comfortable, and welcomed. They are literally one text or call away from answering any questions that we had. Sierra was our coordinator for our wedding day and made it a point to make sure everything went smoothly. Not only was she patient, but she was also adaptable to make sure everything we wanted was accommodated and included. My wife and I received countless messages about how beautifully everything went, how delicious the food was, and how great the drinks were. There were literally no regrets choosing Boulder Ridge Weddings!

Karyn was our day-of wedding coordinator and she was the consummate professional. The pre-planning went smoothly and we appreciated her attention to detail, all of which gave us confidence in our wedding day going as planned. The day went by perfectly and Karyn was a big part of making sure that happened. The venue was gorgeous and everyone attending our wedding enjoyed the views. The food was just okay, but they’re accommodating if you want to bring extra outside food to supplement. I highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding.

Aside from the venue being absolutely gorgeous, the Boulder Ridge wedding team (specifically Heather and Pricilla) is why I'm actually giving this 5 star review. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was extremely stressful but these ladies made it easy. A few things that stood out: - they were very flexible and understanding when we asked to move our wedding date (due to covid restrictions). i've heard some venues were not flexible at all. they reached out to all of our vendors to make the date change. we didn't have to do anything. another reason why wedgewood weddings are the way to go! - they're very responsive. it was my 1st time planning a wedding so i asked a million questions and they responded promptly and never made me feel like i was asking a stupid question. :) - Heather and Priscilla are super organized and always sent my fiancé and me reminders for our meetings (zoom and in person), made sure we weren't missing any deadlines, and kept us on track throughout the entire process. They pay attention to DETAIL. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Our wedding was perfect. Thanks Heather & Priscilla for everything you did. I would recommend this venue to all my friends 100%.

Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood was a great experience for my wife and I. The city views were spectacular, the location is secluded from the city life, and the staff were great (especially Heather!). In the weeks leading to our wedding, the staff had repeatedly assured us that everything will go great, and that they would take care of everything. On our wedding day, the staff (including but not limited to Saul, Heather, Shawna) were really great. Most importantly, Heather ensured that my wife and I had everything we needed. I was surprised how involved Heather was on our wedding day with coordination, ensuring everything is running smoothly, and ensuring my wife and I were as stress-free as possible on this big day. Heather went above-and-beyond and my wife and I really cannot thank her enough for that.

Don’t waste anytime looking elsewhere. This is the place to have your wedding. In late July, we had a call w/ Wedgewood prepared to cancel because we decided to have a small, intimate, wedding (immediate family & bridal party only - 14 guests). We didn’t want to pay the minimums required by Wedgewood with this small party. On the call, Wedgewood said they were happy to waive the minimums if we wanted to keep our original date/venue. I was nearly in tears with joy! With all the horror stories I’ve heard of venues not working with their brides/grooms, I was stunned with the graciousness Wedgewood extended. It didn’t stop there! We used their “Blissful Benefits” to discover local vendors they had relationships with - we found a lovely, affordable harpist! We would’ve never thought of that! Our Wedgewood wedding captain/coordinators/superstars Sierra & Lauren were with us every step of the way. Even standing up for us in email communication. Look, no bride wants to be lectured. And that’s what happened. One of my vendors (my alpaca farmer - I wanted 2 alpacas at the wedding!) lectured me over email about having a wedding during COVID. I get her perspective & a simple decline would’ve been fine. Instead, some strongly worded emails came from her. Lauren, Sierra, & their manager(?), jumped in on the email trail to defend my now husband and I to my great relief. Like what??? I was so impressed and was able to breathe. Needless to say, we had to cancel our alpacas. The Wedgewood team continued to be right by our side. During our wedding rehearsal, someone from the country club interrupted us stating they needed to mow the lawn and refused to leave. Sierra & Lauren firmly spoke to the guy to tell him he needed to come back to mow the lawn. (He was NOT pleasant and didn’t want to leave.) but they were able to get him out so we could finish our rehearsal! & one more thing. We decided to add a zoom portion to our wedding & hired a separate remote vendor to administer - basically, we used 4 iPhones on tripods which this vendor switched views (felt like a tv production almost). This added another layer of complication- Sierra & Lauren handled with ease. They worked with our vendor to coordinate the camera angles, even helped turn our iPhone to get the right shot, and troubleshoot technical issues. On the day of the wedding, I realized their was a miscommunication with me and our florist. WHERE WERE MY ROSE PETALS DOWN THE AISLE? They were nowhere in sight. Sierra remedied the situation ASAP, got her team to Safeway, bought up all the roses, peeled them and got them on the aisle just like I wanted. From the views (AMAZING), to the appetizers and food (actually pretty tasty!!), to the awesome bartender. Sierra & Lauren always kept a smile on my face. They are awesome and I was a lot. My “small, intimate, wedding” grew into a small intimate wedding/tv production. With every request, question and unexpected turn, Sierra & Lauren responded with friendliness, support, & most importantly, a warm and kind smile. Our wedding experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. Also, remember the alpacas that were cancelled? Sierra and Lauren knew how much the alpacas meant to me so they saved some alpaca balloons from an event that happened right before mine and put them in my bridal suite as a surprise. It’s those small warm loving care in the details that makes this place special. I hope you check them out. Thank you Boulder Ridge!

Boulder Ridge was an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! It was the wedding of our dreams and the whole thing went perfect. We had Tori as our wedding day of coordinator and she was on top of everything ! Did such a great job. The food was amazing and we as well as our 100 guests were very happy and satisfied. Thanks Tori and staff for making our day so memorable and great :) I would definitely recommend this venue, not only is it beautiful, but the staff members are very great as well!

We are so thankful for the most amazing wedding. Even in the middle of a pandemic, our coordinators made us feel so supported and taken care of. Due to COVID, we decided to change venues with just 3 months left before our wedding. Zoe from Wedgewood Redwood Canyon was there with us from our first tour, and we were lucky enough to keep her for our wedding day once we changed venues. Lauren from Boulder Ridge helped take over with planning when we changed locations. Both coordinators were our rocks throughout the process and were there for us up until the very last, nerve-wrecking moments. I can't speak highly enough of them! I’d definitely recommend Wedgewood because of their easy wedding planning process. They have a list of recommended vendors they include in your package, but it’s also SO easy to take any out and go with your own vendors. They don’t charge you random fees like many other venues and their pricing is reasonable! Plus, you have a coordinator with you through the entire process. They helped me along the way with details I would have never thought of. I’d also like to talk about Boulder Ridge as a location. It was absolutely beautiful and I’m so happy to have had our wedding here. Our guests were in awe of the views and the sunset! The pictures you’ll get with the backdrops are stunning!

From the very start, this team of sales reps were AMAZING to work with. We had a consultation in person (pre COVID) with the team, and still continued to shop around, as we didnt want to say "Yes" to the first place we looked at. After a month of looking at other venues, we knew Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood was it for us, they just had the best deal and a GORGEOUS view you could not beat for the price. I called them back right away, crossing my fingers they still had our date available, only to find out, they saved the date for us without a deposit- who does that?! The was just the first time the team showed how much they truly care about making the wedding planning experience both easy and enjoyable. The second time they wow'ed us, was when COVID hit. We heard other Wedgewood locations were postponing weddings, which we absolutely did not want to do because our wedding date was so significant (10.10.2020). But, the general manager, Angela, worked with us and rest assured we would be able to have a beautiful wedding on our special date. She proposed a split wedding, ceremony on our date and reception postponed to the following year (which were on board with, because we really wanted to keep our friends and family safe and did not want any in person guests). Angela was so professional in working out our package deal, we didn't lose or have to spend more money, it all worked out and we kept our same price package. The Sales Team is outstanding!!! Lauren and Sierra both were extremely helpful all the days leading up to the wedding and especially on our big day. Lauren was very intuitive about my vision and easily coordinated with the accompanying vendors to stay on schedule during our wedding. Sierra was hands on, helping with the few in person guests we had, arranging and re-arranging decor, and also helped wrangle our 2.5 year old, while the B&G took photos. I have to say, the Sales Team/Wedding Coordinators are 100% there for you and it felt so genuine. Although we had a very small COVID wedding, and didnt utilize their DJ, Bar, or Food Service, there isn't a doubt in my mind that those service too, will be outstanding to work with next year and I look forward to returning for our in person wedding reception. You guys have got all the details dialed in and I would highly recommend your services to anyone looking for a pain free all inclusive wedding package!

We were lucky to find Wedgewood Weddings while searching for our wedding venue over a year ago and I am so glad we chose this company! Weddings are already stressful to plan but with everything going on in the world we were worried we would have to postpone or even cancel our wedding. Thanks to Wedgewood we not only got to keep our date but our wedding turned out more amazing than we ever thought possible! We originally chose a different Wedgewood location which could no longer accommodate our wedding with the COVID19 restrictions so we were offered the chance to tour Boulder Ridge and host an outdoor ceremony and reception. We loved the new venue and made the difficult choice to relocate our entire wedding two weeks before our date! Wedgewood contacted all of our vendors and transferred everything to our new venue so we didn’t have to start the whole process over and just made everything so easy! Lauren was extremely sweet and helpful with everything! Any questions we had, she was quick to respond and was available whenever we needed! Between COVID19 and the recent fires in our area we had to make several last minute changes and it seemed like everything was going wrong but somehow Lauren and the team at Boulder Ridge made our wedding the most amazingly perfect day of our lives! It was so beautiful and we will never forget it! Highly recommend this company!!!

This venue was more than I asked for. We were trying to be on a budget and not spend much. They had different packages to fit our needs. The support they give was throughout all the process was amazing! They always answer the phone and they email you back pretty fast! Our wedding day was perfect I have literally nothing bad to say. Sierra was our wedding coordinator and she was wonderful! Please don’t think twice about this venue! All my friends and family members still talk about it every time we see them. We are 100% satisfied with our experience 😍

My consultants were so sweet and friendly! The venue speaks for itself, it's breath taking and feels very exclusive and is SO well taken care of. It definitely sells itself. But what really sold me was the staff. My two consultants were transparent about pricing, and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone to check out Boulder Ridge! Their wedding packages are inclusive, but they don't cheap our on what they include. You can be sure you're going to have a beautiful wedding here no matter what package you choose or create!

We had our ceremony and reception on 09/01/2019 here and had a blast! From the consultation to the big day, Lauren and Heather were nothing short of accommodating and amazing. A wedding planner/binder was provided once we made our deposit and it provided step-by-step instructions on what was needed and by when. The scheduled meetings and calls also reassured us that this team would take care of us and our guests. Honestly, weddings are hard, especially with 200 guests, but Lauren and Heather have been in the industry long enough that they are ready for anything! Boulder Ridge is setup on top of a gorgeous hill overlooking the Almaden Valley. Majority of our guests congregated outside, even at night, just to take in the views. Valet is provided with a fee per person. Both our ceremony and reception areas were setup beautifully and exactly as we had requested. We did not go with the in-house catering, but the team was able to coordinate with all vendors to ensure an effortless night. Shout out to Lauren for coordinating the wedding before and on the day of. Oh ! and thanks for reminding us to stay on schedule. We had a difficult crowd, but you held it together! Forever thankful to the Wedgewood Team!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I don't know what I'd do without Lauren and her team at Boulder Ridge. The service I received from Lauren was second to none. She listened to all my needs and wants, executed everything perfectly, and always put our happiness first. She went completely above and beyond for us - I couldn't have asked for a better venue coordinator. She is amazing! Super sweet, extremely thoughtful and caring, very organized and just an overall pleasure to be around. Love her personality! Trying to plan a wedding is immensely overwhelming - but with Lauren by my side guiding me the entire way through, it was manageable! All my questions were answered timely and efficiently, she kept my days organized and assisted with all my priorities - and she definitely handled all the vendors impeccably! Everything went by sooooo smoothly at my wedding. No hiccups at all. Every detail was covered thanks to Lauren and the team!

Beautiful venue, amazing staff and even more amazing day of coordinators, Lauren and Heather. They answered every question with patience, assist with every minor and major decisions from cake to flowers and and provided thorough instructions during the rehearsal. I felt they did more work than I did as a maid of honor! All the guests were in awe of how beautiful the ceremony came together. It was a very memorable celebration thanks to them! 10/10 definitely recommend.

Our wedding at Boulder Ridge was perfect! The venue was on top of everything and made sure it ran smoothly. Our coordinator Lauren was amazing and helped our whole wedding day run smoothly. All of our guests kept telling us how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was! Wedgewood Boulder Ridge was absolutely fantastic! Heather was amazing the whole way through. Everyone was very attentive to every detail. We felt supported every step of the way. The decorations were amazing, food options were fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. I cannot recommend this location and team enough. We could not have done it without them!

We loved everything about our wedding. We fell in love with the venue and the view and we were so well taken care of by all the girls at Boulder Ridge. It honestly was the best day ever. My sister and I had a double wedding here last December and it was the most amazing place to have chosen. Wedding planning when there is one bride is difficult enough but two brides and most people would give up. The event staff could not have been more helpful . They did an amazing job of communicating with us, and helping us with planning our special day. The venue itself is magical. The views are spectacular & when the sunset starts and the lights turn on you will feel like you’re in a wonderland. The all inclusive packaging was something that my sister and I definitely needed to be able to afford the weddings of our dreams and we found that here . The package was affordable and we were even able to take things off we didn’t need and add things on that we wanted. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a venue. It’s beautiful, affordable, and the staff is dependable. If you are looking for a beautiful, organized, stress free wedding, Wedgewood is the way to go! I had my wedding 10 days ago and I cannot get over how amazing everything turned out. When I was looking for wedding venues about a year ago, Boulder Ridge caught my eye with the beautiful location on top of Almaden Valley overlooking San Jose. I was born in raised in San Jose so this was a perfect location. My husband and I drove to Boulder Ridge just to check it out and as we were heading up the hill, all of the greenery, boulders, and even deers caught our attention and we immediately fell in love. We made an appointment for more information a week later. Our Proposal appointment was with Lauren. She was very nice and helpful. She gave us a tour of where the ceremony and reception were held which was even more perfect then I imagined. She helped plan out our proposal and was thorough in explaining the packages and how we can remove or add items. She explained that they provide catering, bar service and also have vendors that they work with so you don’t have to look for any other vendors. We left the appointment knowing that Wedgewood Boulder Ridge would be THE VENUE to have our wedding. We accepted the proposal a few days later and Lauren also helped us finalize our contract. We had our 4 months out meeting with Tori. She was very friendly and also very helpful and went over our timeline with us including all the details of what we wanted. Our 4 weeks out phone appointment was with Lauren and just like before, she was very helpful and confirmed everything on our timeline. Even after our phone call, I kept calling her because I kept forgetting things to add or ask, she was very nice and understanding. Our final appointment was with Heather, she was also our coordinator for our rehearsal and wedding day. Heather was fantastic through it all! I was so pleased with how everything was set up the day of the wedding. I had tried to make all of my decorations organized when I turned them into her and even had a list of what and where to place things and Heather did an amazing job! She was very attentive to us and our bridal party and was always checking in on us and always asked if we needed anything. I honestly do not know what I have done without her. She was there to tell us what was next on our agenda and was so nice and bubbly through it all. With all my nerves that was going on before the ceremony, she made me feel so calm and comfortable and made sure we were all taken care of. Heather was amazing, my wedding turned out to be so beautiful, better than I imagined and I’m so thankful for her help. I give her an A+++++++ After Heather’s shift was over, the Banquet Captain(I’m so sorry I cannot remember her name) was also very attentive and even made sure all of our decorations were packed and ready to go at the end of the night. What made me choose this venue was they do EVERYTHING for you! You just need to pick what you want and show up on your big day! I’m not one to plan events, mainly because of the stress, but booking with Wedgewood took all of the stress away. I received so many compliments on how beautiful the location was, how good the food was, how awesome the DJ and photo booth people were, and how nice ALL OF THE STAFF were during the event. I’m so happy that I chose Wedgewood Boulder Ridge for one of the biggest moments of my life. Thank you Heather and the Wedgewood Staff for everything!!!

My husband and I got married here last week (July 2019). We had the most wonderful experience, from planning with the friendly and helpful coordinators (Lauren and Heather), attending a wedding faire and trying the foods/meeting vendors, and the actual day of. The coordinators were receptive to any questions and/or ideas we had throughout the whole process. We received a binder with all necessary information upon signing our contact, which was like my Bible throughout this whole process. The coordinators were easily accessible through email, phone, and text at any time, which eased my stress. We could tell throughout the whole planning that they just wanted the process to be fun and easy, which they made it be! Day of - The cocktail hour and reception were flawless. The day of coordinator, Heather, and banquet captain, Tabi, did a great job of handling everything, so that we did not have to stress at all. I am very particular about my decor, and they placed everything exactly as I imagined/wanted. Heather and Tabi also worked very well and professionally with our outside vendors. The food at the reception itself was DELICIOUS! We've had many people tell us how good the food was and how fun the reception was. The views were beautiful, and our guests loved the outdoor furniture and outdoor bar. The DJ, Kevin, from iMobileDJs was incredibly fun and made sure to keep the party going, reading the mood of the guests and playing music that matched their moods. All in all, I would 100% recommend this venue, and hope to be able to attend a wedding there as a guest!

We had a wedding recently at Boulder Ridge. One word:AMAZING! I love the drive into the venue. That moment really makes my heart flip. Our first meeting to inquire about the venue with one of the coordinators made choosing this venue very easy. I forgot her name, but she was great. I think we went back a week later and booked the date! The venue is affordable compared to many other venues we looked at in San Jose without lacking in quality. It is located on top of a hill, so the view is spectacular! At our first appointment, we meet with Lauren who gave us a binder that contained all the information that I could need about helping me with the wedding. Honestly, the coordinators did all the work. All my husband did was pick out the food, and all I did was pick out attend the meetings with him. The girls here have it down to the detail. Theres a lot of things that go into a wedding and believe me, you want to let these professionals take care of it rather you doing it yourself. When I say these girls have it down to the detail, I mean they even asked me if I had any bubbles for the guest and I said yes, so they said they would place one bubble on each guest's chair before they came. The girls here go the whole nine yards for you here. Tori, who was my coordinator or I think they call it banquet captain on the day of the wedding really took care of any needs I had. The area where they had the ceremony was so beautiful and when I came out to walk down the aisle, everything was perfect! The coordinator even sets up the welcome table just as I pictured. After the wedding, Tori and Angela took us on golf carts to take photos on different parts of the venue. The pictures turned out amazing. Aftewards was the reception in their beautiful hall. It has all large glass windows on one side that overlooks the beautiful scenery. We had a buffet style dinner that served more than enough. We did not hear any complaints from our guests. This venue includes cake, DJ, and flowers who were also amazing. Debbie made our cake just as I asked, and our DJ Aldrin played all the songs just as I wanted. All in all, I highly recommend Boulder Ridge for their beautiful venue and amazing coordinators! I could not be more happy with our choice to have our wedding here.

Our wedding at Boulder Ridge was so much more than what we could have ever hoped for. We had originally booked BR back when it was managed by Bay Club and let's just say they were not really well-equipped to handle weddings. About four months before our big day, we got a call from Bay Club saying they had a big surprise...Surprises were not something we wanted to hear about from our wedding venue. However this was the best surprise ever: Bay Club had just partnered with Wedgewood Weddings to provide wedding services! We were then introduced to the wedding wonder women Tori and Angela. Everything from that point forward was so smooth and easy (for a wedding) and it was definitely because of them. Not only do Tori and Angela know their sh*t about weddings, they were just a lot of fun to work with and provided much needed doses of humor when planning such a important and sometimes stressful event. In addition to the badass wedding wonder women, Boulder Ridge is a beautiful venue with spectacular views and great food. It's been two months and family and friends are still talking about how good the food was and beautiful the location was. Overall, I am so glad we chose Boulder Ridge as our wedding venue. It was an amazing experience that we will never forget!

My fiancé and I met Lauren today and we couldn’t possibly imagine a better 1st venue tour/discussion! The property is beautiful! She walked us through where wedding guest would valet, cocktail hour setting, reception, dance floor.. just gave us so many options to look at and decor. We did mention to her this was our first wedding venue tour and easily soothe us in with the many customizable options we needed or didn’t want for our wedding. She answered all our questions and more. My fiancé describes her as transparent and I totally agree. She is just absolutely a breath of fresh air.

Boulder Ridge is a beautiful property but all that aside, the service we received from the Event Center staff for our wedding was less than stellar. Below are a few specific details: - Untimely responses from Event Coordinator (Erica) specifically - each email had to be followed up with at least one another email and a phone call. - She sent us the wrong layout for the wrong wedding date for the wrong couple a few minutes after getting off the phone with her and was unapologetic about it - Service charge was miscalculated (calculated for entire event including ceremony fee instead of just food and beverages) which was $500 more than we anticipated. I had to fight her on getting the invoice corrected. Granted their policy might have changed since our booking with the transition to Bay Club but it felt shady and even after pointing it out, they remained defensive and insisted that the previous coordinator had made a mistake when they gave an earlier estimate - again no apologies - Wedding was at 2pm, contracted hours allowed for vendor setup at 12pm. My husband and I got there at around 12:15 and NOTHING was setup for the vendors to begin decorating or setting up - no chairs, no tables, no nothing which delayed our timeline - again, no apologies or attempt to service correct was made. We seriously considered looking for another venue but we had put down too much money to change venues 3 months before the wedding. All of this is in complete contrast to the experience we had with the previous coordinator who we booked with. I'm not sure if this was because of the transition of ownership of if we were being treated differently because we only did our ceremony (no reception) there or if it's because we were of a certain race (hate to pull that card), but our experience contradicts the reviews that have been described here. I'd recommend couples reconsider booking this venue for your wedding because it will only add tremendous stress to your wedding and believe me it is stressful enough. I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Our wedding would not have been so great without the help of Erica and staff at Boulder Ridge Golf Club (Pavilion Event Center). My coordinator was not available and was switched to Erica a few weeks prior to our wedding, this was such a blessing. It was an unusually hot day and they quickly helped get guests to the top area to cool down. The food was delicious and everything we asked for to be setup was done so as planned. Erica stayed much longer than I expected, she made sure everything ran smoothly and we truly appreciate it. Feedback from guests were unanimous: excellent service, great food, and immaculate views. You must take photos outside with the LED tree and twinkling stars! The upgraded wines were great too! Highly recommended place to have your wedding or special event too.

My wedding was absolutly everything I imagined it would be! Boulder ridge was the perfect venue!

In searching for a wedding venue, I could not compromise on 3 things - privacy (I did not want to see random people around, so hotels and other such venues were out), an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception area in one spot, and a beautiful view with space. Boulder Ridge had all 3 requirements, and overall I had a good experience and would recommend this place, but there are are a few drawbacks. The minor drawbacks - the outdoor ceremony area has a metal gazebo structure that is unattractive in my eyes, but some people may like it. I did not like it, but I accepted it and didn't bother decorating it because the view is nice enough to make up for it. When I visited boulder ridge the first time, I felt like it was an oasis in San Jose, you feel like you're at some private retreat on a very high hill, and a shuttle takes you up and away from the main clubhouse so you don't see the members of the golf course. The bathrooms are outside of the reception area, so some people may not like that, but I did as I feel it keeps the reception area clean of any inadvertent noises or smells. The main complaint I had about the place was the food - I had chosen the buffet option rather than the plated option because when I hear the word "buffet", I'm thinking people will be able to get seconds or thirds if they need to - and I knew a few people who can really eat were coming to my wedding. I did not want them to go home hungry. When I've gone to other weddings with buffets, I was able to get more of whatever food I wanted. Unfortunately, the food was rolled away pretty quickly (saying they'd run out of fish) and the event coordinator told my bridesmaid that "guests were not meant to get seconds", and some of my guests had only gotten salad on their plates because they'd expected to be able to go back for a clean plate for their meats. I asked my husband to get them to bring the food back, because it's ridiculous that they would do that when we'd paid for ALL the food, and not everyone had been able to get some of everything. TOO BAD if they ran out of fish, leave out whatever is left until my guests have eaten their fill - I saw some of the staff eating in the back, and I am not sure if that was their own food or not. If guests are not supposed to have seconds, tell the bride and groom that it's plated v.s. SELF-SERVE, what kind of buffet doesn't allow you to go back at least once??? Also, I compared my sister's venue's event coordinator with mine - hers was basically a wedding planner because of how organized and helpful he was, while mine just did the basic job. Still, overall, things went ok, so I still recommend this place.
