Our daughter’s one request was a chocolate fountain – Chauncey not only made that happen no problem but also made sure to find Gabby when it was brought out so that she would be the first person to try it. We wanted a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding that didn't look like it was straight out of the cartoon and Chauncey and Riley took all my Pinterest photos and the décor I brought and brought my vision to life! he past year. After planning our dream wedding for nearly 10 months, we were faced with the most difficult wedding decision of postponing due to COVID. Chauncey was always there for us no matter what time of day to talk through our options. She helped keep us sane and guided us during an already very stressful time in our lives. She was always 100% honest with us about everything and helped us find alternative options when needed. Chauncey was part of a group of Charleston’s top vendors who met regularly to stay up to date on the latest COVID guidelines. Chauncey has very close relationships with these vendors which helped make the transition to our new date seamless. Chauncey and Riley were there for us on our original date with an intimate family ceremony and then again 5 months later when we were able to have a larger gathering at our reception venue. Chauncey is very easy going, energetic and really fun to work with! It felt like she and Riley were friends helping us with our big day and they did everything they could to make our day picture-perfect. Chauncey and Riley made sure my train was bustled perfectly and that I had everything I needed throughout the day. Chauncey has a vast knowledge of information about anything wedding-related from décor to the wedding day timeline details. She and Riley made both of our big days run smoothly and took care of every little detail for us. One of my favorite parts of the day was walking into our venue and seeing everything we had worked on put together! The way Chauncey added in extra little décor details made our reception look so dreamy and perfect! We are so thankful for Chauncey and her team for making both of our wedding days perfect!!

Unfortunately, when I realized they were worth their weight in gold, was when the world shut down last March due to COVID. We were one of the first wedding's canceled. Thinking back to the week before our wedding, knowing it was inevitably going to be canceled, Chauncey is the only reason I stayed sane. I work in healthcare, so you can imagine that I was getting hit from all sides that week. She kept every vendor updated and made sure I didn't have to deal with a thing. Since we had to cancel (moving to another state, new jobs, military, etc.), she even helped coordinate refunds from some vendors and made sure we had every invoice we needed for our insurance policy. There is no doubt in my mind that day would have been beautiful. Every detail was so carefully planned by her and the team... really they were just as upset as we were it was canceled and I hated to see their hard work not come to fruition. The best decision you'll ever make it hiring this team! :)

ver a year planning our wedding and I never once felt like we weren’t on the same page. She was always quick to respond to my questions no matter how small or insignificant they might have been. She has an answer for everything because she has done every type of wedding. She was always quick to offer various options and price ranges for vendors, decor, rentals, etc. I wanted to try to do a lot of DIY aspects and she made them all happen without hesitation. Especially during COVID, you want someone who knows what’s going on with the ever changing circumstances, rules and limitations. She assured me that my wedding would happen the way I wanted it. Before the thought even crossed my mind, she had hand sanitizer stations rented and cocktail tables spread out for guests who wanted to distance themselves. The day of our wedding, Chauncey and her team waited on me hand and foot. I was ushered around to everything I needed to do getting ready and taking photos. They brought me food and drinks. Carried my veil, train and bouquet around following me everywhere making sure I was happy. I seriously felt like I was being helped by friends all day. I didn’t have to think about what I needed to do next, they just made sure I did it. I was never bothered with any issues that may or many not have arisen and I will never know. They took care of everything before I noticed! If you are planning a wedding and want as much stress taken off your plate as possible, hire Chauncey. She will absolutely make sure whatever you want gets done. I have no idea how she does it, but she does tons of weddings every month and kills it. She is definitely the best wedding planner in Charleston, even if I’m biased! I loved working with her and felt sad afterwards not constantly being in touch with her! I can’t thank her and her team enough for everything!!

ve us the “go” to reschedule from May, Chauncey had 2 new date options to choose from with every single vendor approved and ready to move within 2 hours! She made it seem like a breeze (which I know it wasn’t) and made the reschedule process seamless. Fast forward to October (wedding month) where a lot of COVID distractions and hiccups occurred. Through every trial, Chauncey & Riley were there to support and guide. It was a difficult year for everyone, especially brides, and Chauncey & Riley made me feel calm and confident about our wedding weekend. Chauncey is always quick to reply via email, had a handle on just about everything under the sun for our wedding, has amazing vendor connections, and always came ready with opinions and options, which is exactly what I needed to whittle down all my ideas. Chauncey also respects budgets and gave us a myriad of options and tiers. I haven’t even gotten to the best part... on wedding day, Chauncey & Riley are superstars. I mean, Michael Jordan level wedding pros! I had always dreamed of getting married outside at Middleton, but the weather didn’t look like it was going to cooperate. Chauncey stepped in, had a tent ready to go, ordered extra chairs, all so that we could make a game time decision in case the weather cleared... which it did!! If it wasn’t for her thoughtfulness and vendor connections, We wouldn’t have had the opportunity to get married in our dream garden with perfect weather! She has a HUGE team on wedding day where every detail was taken care of, my mom, myself, groom, family, etc. had ZERO things to do or worry about on wedding day, which was the greatest blessing. Once the reception kicked off, our drinks were ALWAYS full, food always getting re-supplied, and once we hit the dance floor and needed hydrating, Riley was ALWAYs there with water and a smile! As we drove off that night, I said repeatedly, that was our perfect wedding, COViD be dangd. There’s not a single thing I’d change. There’s lots of planners to choose from in Charleston, but I promise you won’t find a crew better than B&B!

I am still in shock of how seamless it all was because no one wants anything to go wrong on their day, but they ensured that everything would go off without a hitch. we decided on Boone Hall as a venue, which required a planner. Well, that just about saved our butts, because we're not sure if we would have definitely hired a planner and gotten the chance to meet and work with someone as amazing as Chauncey. Right off the bat, when we hopped on the phone with her about 9 months before the wedding, my wife and I were blown away by her professionalism and personality. We were convinced that there wasn't a single curveball she couldn't handle. Not to say we had anything serious pop up, but coming from Chicago, there were a number of things we asked her team to do, that they handled with ease. And on the day of the wedding, my wife and I had a goal to get through much of the night rather swiftly to have the reception last as long as possible. Chauncey and her team were UNBELIEVABLE in keeping things moving and making that happen for us. Between taking care of guests who needed to leave early and pulling an extra corsage out of her bag when mine broke, we felt like we couldn't have been in better hands. Over the rest of the weekend, we reflected on how hard we worked over the course of the 10-months we spent planning ALL that goes into destination weddings, and we found ourselves incredibly thankful to have been able to work with such great vendors, but Chauncey in particular. Her team made a destination wedding, which could have been challenging in a number of ways, completely effortless and helped us carelessly enjoy a day that was honestly 1000x more than we ever thought it could have been. Throughout the entire planning process she was so thorough, responsive, and turned all my visions into a reality. The day of our wedding was absolutely flawless. If anything went wrong – I have completely no idea! I feel that our day went as perfect as it could have gone. Every thing I threw at Chauncey and her team, they didn’t blink they just fixed it. Like forgetting our marriage license in our hotel room (someone jumped in a car and went to our room to get it), or forgetting the wedding rings in the bridal suite - 3 floors up- (someone ran up to get them)… truly I didn’t have to worry because I knew Chauncey and her team would fix it. Then, when I stepped outside and saw our main reception space I was completely blown away. I could not believe that it was ours. She couldn’t have done a better job! As soon as we stepped off the bus from our ceremony at the Gadsden House, Chauncey greeted us with our preferred drinks. (Side note: We selected 6 different colored koozies for our reception… my drink was in a pink koozie and my husbands was in a blue… maybe that was just by chance but I have a feeling that THAT is how thoughtful her and her team are). We were taken to a private room to enjoy our hors d’oeuvres and to just take a deep breath. This was so nice to have a moment just for us. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests before our first dances. Once the first dances were complete, we were able to sit and enjoy our reception food while they brought us a plate from each station. At this point in the night, I decided I could not go on without taking my heels off, but thankfully Chauncey and her team (who clearly thought of everything) brought me a pair of flip-flops and took my heels up to the bridal suite and put them in my bag. For the remainder of the night, Chauncey and her team took care of us – by us I mean everyone in our family. She set up a special spot for my grandmother with a heater on the dance floor so she could see, brought her food and drinks, even brought our parents food and drinks… they truly catered and cared for all of us. As our night concluded, her team gathered all of our belongings and placed them in the getaway car. This allowed us to enjoy every last second of our reception with our family friends. To our surprise, when we got back to our hotel room with our things, Chauncey and her team packed us to go boxes of our food, cake, and even a bottle of champagne! I could go on and on about how wonderful my experience was with Chauncey and her team… but instead go book her NOW so you can have the same wonderful and perfect wedding! My husband, our families, and I cannot stop raving about the team of Bouquets and Bowties… from the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU B&B! We love each of you so much!

leston. Chauncey gave me and my very anxious parents daily updates from the city and remained reasonable but optimistic throughout the process. As a note, she is GREAT with anxious parents! She maintained contact with all of my vendors during the hurricane and helped them to coordinate their arrivals, and all of the details. She helped the venue to get everything cleaned up and ready day-of. She had even helped to plan back-up plans for the back-up plans, should the hurricane be worse than we expected. Even before the hurricane, I was so thankful for the assistance Chauncey and her team provided. I went with the partial planning package, but Chauncey provided the help detailed in that package and more! She was so organized and helped me stay on track with the tasks that needed to be completed. She has strong relationships with the vendors in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, and even negotiated for discounts on some contracts. She also helped my in-laws plan our rehearsal dinner, which she pulled off flawlessly, less than 24 hours after the hurricane. I’ve said to everyone who has asked how my wedding went, and I could not mean it more. Aside from picking my husband, hiring Chauncey and her team with Bouquets and Bowties is the best decision I made in the entire process!

By the end of planning we told her to do whatever she felt was best because she is an expert in all wedding planning areas and knew us so well that she knew what we would want. n, not half – FULL PLANNING. Chauncey will be your wedding wizard. She will guide you through the process and make your vision come to reality. She knows every vendor and has great relationships with them. She is patient and quick to respond to any of your questions and concerns. Dealing with brides is not easy - brides are psychos. I sent Chauncey a 14-page style guide when we first met - I was out of my mind. Did she freak out? Nope, she said we can certainly make a version of this happen. AND SHE DID! My husband turned to me during our wedding and said “Wow, I can’t believe this is our wedding”. We heard that over and over from guests amazed at the décor. Our wedding was incredible because of Chauncey and her team. Extra shout-out to Riley who is the mini wedding wizard. Our wedding was not the picture-perfect weather day you hope for, it was 38 degrees, gray, rainy and high winds. Riley was there at the crack of dawn handling everything and reassuring me. She is a dream. In conclusion, hire Chauncey and her team - you will not regret it. I love them like family and miss them already. If I win Powerball, we are having a wedding every year so I can hang with them.

One of my biggest wishes is that we could show up our wedding weekend and my mom wouldnt have to lift a finger. She likes to do things herself but she often stresses herself out and I wanted her to completely relax and enjoy the weekend! And Chauncey & her team made that happen! My mom told me the other day that the whole wedding weekend she felt at peace and just truly enjoyed the weekend and that was my goal!! Riley was AMAZING at our Welcome Party event and went above and beyond ensuring that we could show up and enjoy the event and not worry about set up/break down. Throughout the wedding night, Chase and I did not have to lift a finger. Chauncey and her team were there by our side with food, our favorite drinks, doing my bustle, hair spray, whatever we needed! Even when a family medical emergency happened during the reception Chauncey and her team were there to ensure that everyone was safe and that Chase and I were ok. Even through the crisis of losing power at the venue, they worked quickly to ensure no one would even notice. People had always told us that Chauncey puts out fires when you dont even know they exist and we witnessed that! It truly is hard to put into words how amazing our wedding weekend was because I am so overwhelmed by the love that was shared through everyone that weekend but I do know it would not have been the same without Bouquets and Bowties!

She made our day absolutely stress free, kept on top of everything (lists, reminders, budgets/payments, table assignments, welcome bags etc.), AND has a warehouse of wedding decor that you have access to when hiring her. I used her full service planning for our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks coordination and full wedding planning. Chauncey is worth her weight in gold AND then some; she deserves 10x what she charges!! All of the vendors in the area love to work with her because of her delightful and graceful attitude. She handled all vendors after we selected them so I pretty much only had to have one contact for all things wedding and she handled the rest. It wasn't until close to the wedding she introduced us to more of her amazing team. It was a seamless planning process. -Stress-less wedding planning: From start to finish Chauncey made wedding planning easy and fun! I was a long distance bride and we had not one but two hurricanes interrupt wedding planning as well as the groom getting an unexpected illness the month before the wedding. Chauncey never missed a step, she was always 100% on top of things and solved problems before I even knew there was one! -Planning tool: I really enjoyed the planning tool you get when you work with Chauncey that keeps everything in one place including guest lists, do to lists and reminders, budgets, table assignments, timelines, and payments. -Ability to navigate different family dynamics: Chauncey had to navigate a lot of different personalities in our family throughout the planning process which she did with ease, professionalism, and joy. She made every person and their every question seem important and everyone ended the wedding experience on a positive note because of her. That in itself was worth every penny and truly priceless to us. -The easiest wedding weekend ever: Not a single person in our family or wedding party or ourselves had to do anything during the wedding weekend that we didn't want to do. As we were planning our wedding from Chicago, having someone who knew the area AND all the vendors we were working with was SO important. • Someone Responsive: Chauncey responded within a few hours of our first email asking if she had some time to meet with us during one of our first planning trips to Charleston. She spent over an hour with us talking about our vision for our wedding and her style as a wedding coordinator. And this was before we had even hired her! Throughout the planning process, she responded to each and every email in SUCH a timely fashion, keeping us at ease. She was also extremely flexible and happy to meet with us anytime we came in town, which we know is no easy feat when you have a schedule like hers. • A Variety of Packages: Bouquets and Bowties had three different packages to choose from. We went with the middle tier package, which allowed me to be involved in all the vendor decisions (which I wanted) but ultimately we were able to lean on Chauncey during the planning process to get her thoughts and recommendations on everything. She knows how to turn your Pinterest boards into reality. From the early planning stages, she is always quick to respond to emails with questions from as large as who should you use as a florist to small insignificant questions like table numbers. She is open and honest and will even tell you if things aren't really necessary. As the one footing the bill, that is greatly appreciated! Planning a wedding is a very stressful time for the bride and her family. Luckily, Chauncey is there to walk you through each step of your journey. With deadlines and goals to reach, it makes the planning easier. The most important part is the day of the ceremony though. Chauncey and her team were an absolute God send! From planning, decorating, and coordinating, all the way down to making sure grandmothers have eaten or the newlyweds having food for later! WHEN (not if) things go wrong on your wedding day, Chauncey and her team quickly resolve any and every unforeseen issue that come their way, most without you ever knowing. We had issues with transportation, a wedding cake sweating in the July heat of Charleston (who knew cakes sweat?), down to the minister forgetting to pack his suit! While most other people would buckle under such pressure, the Bouquets and Bowties crew remain sweet southern belles. Our whole family fell in love with Chauncey and her crew and couldn't imagine ever pulling off this wedding without them. My friends around me planning weddings were constantly stressed and freaking out. I was insanely calm and loved wedding planning due to Chauncey. If you say do you want A, B, or C, I will answer that I want all of that. I have extremely expensive taste, but was on a strict budget. My dream wedding had unreachable expectations, but Chauncey somehow easily made it happen and with a smile. My wedding still feels like a dream and we stayed completely on budget thanks to Chauncey. Her vendor connections are out of this world. Chauncey got me 4 different desserts and a 3 tiered cake for my budget. I had my DREAM photographer and videographer. I had a completely open bar for dirt cheap. The lighting and decorations were breathtaking. My floral arrangements were swoon worthy. Everything was absolute perfection. The best part was that Chauncey supported my dream from the first moment I met her. The day of the wedding was a complete dream! People always say brides get nervous/cold feet/etc. I have never been more calm in my entire life and that's all thanks to Chauncey. I purposefully shut the window drapes and just let Chauncey do her thing. When I finally looked, it was like all my childhood dreams were coming true. Everything looked PERFECT!! I know I'm biased, but my wedding was STUNNING and that was all because of Chauncey. My wedding colors were light pink and mint. It would have been easy to make that look tacky. She somehow made it look like a southern belle's dream. The vendors she recommended were AMAZING! Each company she suggested was unbelievable and made my venue look breathtaking. After the ceremony was when their genius once again showed through. Everyone says "make sure to eat on your wedding day". I thought that was silly, but without Chauncey I would have starved. After the pictures, she pulled my new husband and I aside for 10 minutes to let us soak in the moment. She had all of our hors d'oeuvres waiting for us. Those 10 minutes to eat and just be the two of us was worth it's weight in gold. Later on in the night when we were so busy greeting people, she pulled us aside and had food waiting for us. She also had Travis bringing us our favorite drinks all night with water in between each drink. These seem like easy things, but I would have been a starving, drunken mess if it wasn't for her. When my shoes were hurting my feet, she literally gave me a pair of her shoes. All of that shows her true dedication and passion for her job. Since we're unfamiliar with the area, it was truly valuable to have that guidance. We are so beyond grateful that Chauncey was with us through this whole process.
