I hope everyone gets married here! The Bradshaw team was so amazing and created so many special and customized moments for my husband and I. Grace and Klara are so kind and handled everything so professionally!! All of our guest love the house and we got sooo many compliments on the flow of the venue. 10/10 best night of our life ♥️

I am so grateful for the Bradshaw Duncan House property and team not only on my wedding day, but also in all the weeks and months leading up to the big day! They had everything we needed to put our big day together, answered our many questions, and had helpful advice from years of experience in the industry. They always responded in a timely manner and truly felt like partners in helping our wedding vision become a reality. The property is beautiful and the house provided ample getting ready space for our big wedding parties. They have made several upgrades over the last year or so including adding bathrooms for guests, adding more paved sidewalks for guests and vendors, upgrading the vendor kitchen, and providing a bigger tent. All of these additions were made thoughtfully and responsively and helped the evening flow seamlessly. Thank you to Grace and her team - you all are the best of the best!

We got married at the BDH in November and we couldn’t be happier with how perfect our day turned out! The house itself and scenery are so beautiful, I’m pretty sure every guest told us how pretty everything was. The bride and groom suites were our absolute favorite and made getting ready before the ceremony with our bridal party and family so fun and special. Maggie, Tina and Grace were all amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process and made the day completely stress free! We would recommend BDH to anyone looking for a beautiful place to celebrate something special.
We had an amazing experience with the Bradshaw-Duncan house/team! I can't thank the staff enough for the work they did to make our day special. We had a November wedding and that day it unexpectedly snowed! Even under these circumstances, the staff still made sure everything went smoothly and made my envision come true by still allowing us to have the ceremony outside. The bridal party loved the getting ready rooms, we were able to utilize the kitchen for brunch, and loved that our guests were able to explore the house during cocktail hour. My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience!

Bradshaw-Duncan House is beautiful and historic, and the people who run it are awesome! My husband and I smiled all through our first tour of the house and grounds. The coordinator and owner were responsive and accommodating. They offer a great number of affordable rentals and offered great vendor recommendations. For our wedding, the bridal suites were spacious, and comfortable, and made my hairdresser very happy! The Bourbon Room and dining room were perfect spaces for pictures. Our ceremony was outside, and the shade provided by the trees helped keep everyone comfortable even on a hot September day. The patio space was perfect for cocktail hour, and the tennis court reception area was super! I also do recommend renting the restroom trailer, it is incredible. My husband and I loved working with them, and their space is simply stunning.
Bradshaw-Duncan House is the premier venue in Kentucky. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Maggie, her staff, and BDH as a whole. Our day was everything we hoped and more. We were in the car ride to the hotel, and we couldn’t think of one bad thing from the whole day, and we said if something did go wrong, we didn’t know about it because Grace (our coordinator from Bradshaw) probably fixed it. They were all so kind, helpful, generous, and accommodating. BDH should be known as the top wedding venue in Kentucky!
Me and my wife, Heaven, had our wedding at the Bradshaw-Duncan House on July 23, 2022. It was absolutely a dream come true. From the very beginning Tina, Maggie and all the workers made us both feel special and were very attentive. After our first walkthrough, we knew we had found our wedding venue.
Once we booked BDH as our venue, Tina and Maggie helped us walk through every step of planning process. Planning a wedding can be a very daunting task, however, the two made sure to make it as easy of a process as it possibly could be. I seriously don’t know how we would have planned the big day without them.
Come our wedding day, it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue and set up was absolutely beautiful. Everything was set up for us and looked even better than we could have hoped. The whole crew at BDH were very attentive, made me and wife feel incredibly special, and made sure the day went exactly how we had hoped. They went above and beyond in every aspect.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Bradshaw-Duncan House as a venue for any occasion, especially a wedding. It was perfect in every way imaginable. Me and my wife still talk about how perfect the day was and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without the beautiful venue and the great crew at the Bradshaw-Duncan House. Honestly… WOW!!!
Not only is Bradshaw-Duncan House a BEAUTIFUL house and property, Maggie, Tina, Grace and the rest of the BDH staff is a dream to work with! I am very much a planner, and have trouble letting go, but the whole BDH team made us feel so comfortable and captured everything we wanted. We even had some weather issues pop up right around our ceremony time. The team was so accommodating in making changes to ensure we had the outdoor ceremony we envisioned.
The outdoor space of the property is gorgeous, but the inside is just as wonderful! The spaces for both sides of the bridal party were perfect for everyone to get ready comfortably, but still separate. You can see how much thought has gone into making this a superb venue, making sure we had everything we could possibly need.
The day was everything we hoped for, and more, thanks to the amazing people at Bradshaw-Duncan House. Could not recommend this venue and this team enough!

We needed a new wedding coordinator the day before our wedding & Maggie, Grace & Tina immediately took over and made our wedding beyond perfect. I could not have asked for a better wedding venue.
The Bradshaw-Duncan House knocked it out of the park! Maggie helped us navigate the chaos of wedding week while I was traveling for work. She consistently followed up with both myself and Jason leading up to the day of. The lovely ladies that work at the venue were kind and helpful. They even made sure that I didn’t miss our last dance (talk about a blunder on my part)! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day. We are truly blessed to have found the perfect venue with the most amazing team!!
Maggie and Tina and the rest of the BDH team were extremely helpful as we planned our wedding. We don't live locally, so it could have been incredibly stressful, but from the initial call to the day of the wedding, Maggie and Co. thought of every detail, anticipated every question, and ensured the day would be even more perfect than we imagined it could've been. The venue is so beautiful, and the team is a joy to work with and be around. We only wish we could do it all over again.
We got so many compliments on the venue. Everyone loved the bourbon bar, which we had set up with bourbon lemonade during cocktail hour. The space to get ready upstairs was perfect and it gave the wedding party a great place to step away from the action when we needed a break. The guys were even excited to get ready for the wedding because their space was so fun. We couldn’t have picked a better location.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Bradshaw Duncan House. Tina, Maggie, and Sarah were great to work with and made our weekend so special. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at BDH and everything was perfect. Our guests are still talking about it a month later!
The Bradshaw Duncan House is new onto the wedding venue scene but should not be overlooked. The grounds are breathtaking and the space inside is perfect for all of your day of needs. The bride and groom's suites are a great space to spend the morning of wedding and come equipped with everything you need from a steamer to a salon like set-up for your hair and makeup artists. We had a lot of out of town guests at our wedding and got so many comments on how 'beautifully Kentucky' our wedding was. There were initially some organizational hitches but Maggie, the new general manager of BDH and Tina, the owner were great to work with and everything went so smoothly day of. Sarah and Debbie were on site and available the whole day/evening - helping out with rain dances (that worked!) and red wine spills on my SIL dress among many other things. It was also so nice that we once you were there in the AM, there was no travel from a hotel/to take pictures/to and from ceremony to reception - everything is there and we were able to spend a lot more time with our guests because of it. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend BDH for a beautiful ceremony and reception!
Bradshaw-Duncan House was the perfect venue for my daughter’s June 2021 wedding reception! We knew it was THE place for the reception as soon as we drove up many months ago! Tina and her staff were always available during the planning process, and made sure everything went smoothly during the reception. The grounds are stunning, and there are so many great spots for pictures! There is no other venue like it! Our guests raved about how beautiful and perfect everything was, as no one had been to a wedding reception there before. I can’t say enough about this venue- the night was everything my daughter had always dreamed of, and we couldn’t have been happier!
I don’t even know where to begin with Bradshaw-Duncan house... WOW, thank you all! I am a covid bride and had quite the experience planning the wedding of our dreams. We were suppose to get married downtown Louisville and we had gotten canceled by our venue because of protesting, rioting and all the excitement in Louisville. The cancellation of our original venue occurred FIVE days before our wedding day. Rebecca who is part of the Bradshaw Duncan house team reach out to me on Facebook along with hundreds of others and for some reason I was drawn to answer her back on messenger. Let’s make a long stressful story short... I met with Tina to look at the venue and WOW. I’ve never seen something more gorgeous . I knew exactly that it was the one ! Tina and Rebecca planned our entire wedding in THREE days. They are the dream team. They went ABOVE & BEYOND our expectations to make this wedding perfect in THREE days! I mean I’m speechless. They are SO wonderful and they will do any and everything to make your day so special! I can’t thank them enough. I would recommend this venue to any and everyone over and over. Between Tina, Fred (owners) & Rebecca they through together something that looks like they had months to do. Such sweet sweet people ! Thank you Bradshaw-Duncan house !!!
The staff at Bradshaw Duncan House were incredible. They made my dream wedding come true on such short notice. It was a perfect day. They have a wonderful area to do hair and makeup and a great reception space. It’s picture perfect!
We had our youngest daughters rehearsal dinner, and reception here, as well as utilized the Bridal and a Grooms suites to get ready. Everything is absolutely gorgeous! There are not enough words to express how wonderful the venue as well as the owners and staff were in making sure everything went perfectly! They truly helped create her magical day! I can not say enough amazing things about the Bradshaw Duncan House and how perfect it made my wedding. The home is beautiful with so much remaining character and history, while having elegant updated touches. It made for the most beautiful photographs both inside and outside the venue. Having the spacious bride and groom’s suites made getting ready for our day so peaceful. They have thought of everything you could possibly want or need to make your wedding day experience. Working with Tina and Sarah was such a stress reliever. They listened to the vision for my wedding. In them knowing that it was being planned in 10 weeks, they heard what I still needed, and they quickly made arrangements for me to have a beautiful farm table and gave vendor suggestions, who helped in making my day so perfect! They really care about giving brides the day they’ve dreamed of, and far surpassed all expectations we had for our day!
