DO NOT HIRE BRANDON ELIZABETH / THE VELVET BOW!
(PSA: Brandon Jones now conducts business under the company name "The Velvet Bow".)
My husband and I hired Brandon 11 months prior ...
to our wedding this May, and at first she seemed very professional and experienced. Unfortunately as the wedding date grew closer, problems began to arise. Brandon was completely unreachable for over a month leading up to the wedding, and she finally responded simply saying she had been "out of town". She was supposed to contact all our vendors 1 month prior to the wedding and take over communication and coordination with them from there out, but she never did this. The day of the rehearsal, I texted her to let her know we had arrived in town and couldn't wait to see her at the rehearsal, to which she responded that she "does not host rehearsal". Confused and a little panicked, I responded asking for an explanation and I included a screenshot of our contract which clearly states she IS to attend the rehearsal, to which she never responded to...ever. The next day (our wedding day), she still never responded in any form. She never showed up to our wedding, and instead sent her assistant, whom we had never had any prior communication with, had no knowledge of us or our wedding plans, and was extremely unqualified, incompetent, and inefficient. When we asked the assistant where Brandon was, we were told she was working another wedding. After the wedding, we sent her 3 emails asking for an explanation and a refund, and to this day we have never received a response from her or anyone at her company. We are astounded by the complete and total lack of professionalism and decency shown by Brandon Jones. If at any point she had communicated to us that there was some mistake or issue, we would have been understanding and worked with her. The fact that she completely ghosted us after taking our money is nothing short of a scam. We are still in the process of attempting to receive a refund through other means. I hope to save any future brides and grooms from the same horror show that we have experienced from her.

e rehearsal and the wedding ceremony and reception. The bride and groom had a lot planned for the day, and Brandon did a great job keeping everything moving and on schedule. The bride and groom were really happy, and the bride said she got the wedding she had always dreamed of.

ctedly opened up and sent a deluge of rain down in the middle of the wedding ceremony, Brandon had the presence of mind to not only grab umbrellas for the wedding party, but also to quickly bring inside all of the outdoor table decorations, which would otherwise have been ruined. She was a rockstar!

generous with her time, answering many of my late-night, long-list, 15-question emails. I'd highly recommend Brandon Elizabeth Events!

down due to covid-19 obstacles. I talked to brandon before the wedding on a few occasions, but did not meet her until the day of. She did an incredible job and the day was perfect! She worked well with all of our vendors and helped so much with the set up of our event.

d of us throughout the event. We went with 90% of the vendors she recommended and all of them were incredible.
She kept everything on schedule but in a very flexible and seemingly effortless way. When we returned to the venue the next day to finish the clean up, Brandon & the other vendors had already done 90% of the work.
She was so nice and professional and made my whole family feel so comfortable. My dad was blown away that she was even monitoring the local train schedule to make sure we didn't have roaring engines and blaring train horns in the middle of our ceremony. We'd recommend her to anyone!

entive throughout the entire planning process. They answered my incessant emails/calls and helped calm me down when the planning got overwhelming. Kyra was awesome on the day-of; she and her assistant were very efficient and professional when it came to setting up décor and ensuring everyone was at the right place at the right time. They made sure everything was accounted for at the end of the night and helped pack up décor / gifts, making things much more convenient for those staying behind to collect it so that they could join the post-wedding festivities. I highly recommend BEE for any/all wedding coordination needs! I cannot thank them enough for all their help and guidance throughout the wedding planning process and for make my wedding day flow effortlessly.

urselves, but there are so many details and things to worry about on your wedding day, it is worth every penny to have a day of coordinator so you can enjoy the day! Brandon was spectacular and kept everything on track so that my fiancé and I could enjoy the day instead of worrying about what was next. Brandon attended our rehearsal dinner and ran through the ceremony with us and discussed set up for the next day. On the day of the wedding, she set up last minute decor and coordinated all of the vendors before we arrived. She timed the ceremony entrances and various events throughout the day and night with our officiant, DJ, and caterer. She checked in with the bridal party and our parents to make sure everything was going well throughout the day/night and everyone knew when speeches, dances, etc. were coming up. My mom loved her and several guests asked how things happened throughout the night because she was so good at making things happen without intruding. We would absolutely recommend using Brandon for your wedding!
