Natalie would take on this work without a second thought, wanting only to make her clients happy. She decided to follow this passion and loves getting to know couples on a personal level. Natalie is helped by her lead assistant Ashley Mccowan, who shares a passion for helping people.

Natalie and Ashley are seriously the best! The are worth the investment! Not only did they drive over 5 hours for my wedding but we had a little hiccup in the beginning while decorating (missing tablecloths from another company)... they swooped in , delivered some tablecloths and all was saved🙌🏼 They made mine and my husband's day run SO smoothly. Thank you Natalie and Ashley🤍

If you know EXACTLY what you want for your event, then I would recommend Brava, but you would be wasting your money because couldn't you just ask a friend or relative to take care of that? We hired Brava for the vendor recommendations and insight into detail coordination for our wedding at Juarez Plaza, San Antonio. My husband was quick to criticize the list of recommended vendors; when we asked for tejano bands, we got a country singer; we asked for a caterer who would do family style but got a recommended caterer who had never (and refused to) accommodate family style serving. We ended up finding all of the vendors on our own even though we paid for recommendations for vendors.
I was disappointed on the day of my wedding because I had to constantly be in charge of the details. Natalie called me the morning of my wedding to let me know she couldn't get a hold of the venue point of contact. I'm not sure what she expected me to do while I was getting ready FOR MY WEDDING! Natalie told us she had done an event at La Villita before, so I didn't worry about anything further during the planning phase; I regret not taking more time off from work to plan every detail just so that I could communicate via phone exactly what I expected. Particularly telling, we had given her a script of the ceremony, and she said she would have appreciated if we would have alerted her to [a pretty big moment in the script], making it obvious that she hadn't even read the script we gave her more than a week before the wedding. I also worked tirelessly to put together a champagne wall for which I provided a list of people that included my under-ten niece and nephews to receive apple juice instead of champagne; the coordinator must have thrown away the list I created because these kids' glasses had champagne in them. I was constantly having to direct the caterers what to do and the coordinators' two assistants sat on their phones most of the night.
I had also given Natalie bathroom baskets to be placed in several public bathrooms that would be closed to the public after 6pm, but Brava lacked the attention to detail to wait to set up the baskets until after the public no longer had access; the result was numerous items taken before my wedding guests even had the chance to use them. I really wish we hadn't wasted our money because I had higher expectations than I would have if we had just asked our close friends to help on the day of.
Natalie did come to my parents house the Thursday before to pick up all of the boxes of items we had--including decorations, which they didn't bother to put up. In fact, my mom went through so much trouble to find wedding papel picado, and Brava never returned it (the excuse during the wedding was that they didn't have a ladder to decorate, even though Natalie told us they would take care of decorating, and I had sent her pictures of what I envisioned, which included the papel picado hanging in Juarez Plaza). I don't think she gave my event the attention to detail that $2k deserves and am extremely disappointed that I ever hired Brava Events.
In sum, think through every single detail if you really want to hire an event coordinator and don't expect the coordinator to think of the commonsense details that should be part of his or her job. Specific to Brava, it's obvious these folks spread themselves too thin and won't give due attention to the couples who purchase the "month-of" package.
There's more negative but space limits.
How can I even put into words how amazing and wonderful Brava Events is? We had the “Finale Package” and it was the perfect package for my husband and I. I would say that I was extremely detail oriented when it came to our wedding and we planned it for two years! I needed someone to help take over and make the day enjoyable & stress free.
I cannot thank Natalie and her assistants (Ashley & Serena) for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. From venue walkthroughs, meetings, many phone calls and texts, the rehearsal, and then finally the wedding day, our planning process was perfect.
Natalie was our go-to gal for anything we needed during the last month and I knew we were in great hands. The day of they tackled not only the timeline but any little details that came up along the way. If things went wrong, we had
no clue!! They set up my boxes of decor, pinned on boutineers, hung signs (after my plan of hanging didn’t work too), lit candles, assisted with vendors, got me down the aisle, fluffed & pinned by dress, and sooooo much more!!!! It was a perfect dream day and I cannot thank the Brava girls for helping with that.
We absolutely cannot wait until we have an anniversary part just so we can hire Brava Events again. We love y’all!!!💓
Natalie and Courtney did an amazing job. At first I didn’t realize how much I would need them but they were there every step of the way. I was truly lost in the wedding planning process until they came along. They thought of things I couldn’t possibly think of. And on the day of they made everything so perfect and stress free, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Worth every penny. Thank you so much ladies.
Natalie and Courtney were incredible to work with! We hired them for day of coordinating and they were such an incredible help that last month. Super responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. My wedding day was stress free and wonderful since I knew we were in good hands. These ladies made it possible for us to just enjoy our day! I cannot recommend Brava enough; thank you ladies!
