Shannon started her hospitality career with Hilton Hotels in Washington, D.C. after graduating from American University. Shannon planned two Inaugural Balls in addition to several staple Washington, D.C. events such as the Alfalfa Club Dinner & Gridiron Dinner before moving to Reno, Nevada and becoming a Casino Catering & Convention Services Sales Manager. Shannon then moved to Miami Beach where she switched careers and became a banker in Bal Harbour, Florida. Shannon then returned to her family in Spring Lake and her love of event planning and has been with The Breakers over 20 years.

Our wedding at The Breakers on the Ocean was an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the entire team treated us like royalty. They went above and beyond in every way imaginable, exceeding every expectation we had for our special day.
The food and cocktails were phenomenal — our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Throughout the night, people came up to us over and over to say how amazing the service was and how perfectly everything flowed. The cocktail hour was stunning, and every transition throughout the evening felt seamless and effortless.
What stood out most was how genuinely cared for we felt. The staff anticipated every need, making sure we were completely stress-free and able to enjoy every moment. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail created an experience we’ll never forget.
The Breakers on the Ocean made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and so much more. We can’t thank them enough for giving us — and our guests — such an unforgettable celebration.

The Breakers on the Ocean far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. It has a classic historic charm, but with modern renovations. The ballroom, lounge, and restaurant are all truly beautiful spaces that are light and airy, yet very elegant - it makes it feel like you have gone back in time, but also makes you feel right at home, thanks to the amazing staff!
Our planner Gina was so amazing to work with. She was attentive and always had our best interests in mind. She even let us borrow things from her own daughter's wedding! She answered all of our questions throughout the process and gave us advice where needed. We explained everything we wanted to her, and she brought it to life on our wedding day so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It is obvious that she loves what she does, which is what makes her so incredible at her job!! We absolutely loved working with her.
Sandra and Claudia, our day-of coordinator and personal attendant, were also absolutely incredible. When we asked, they delivered! They were there to meet our needs throughout our entire wedding day and made sure that we could be fully present (and we truly were!).
The restaurant and hotel staff were also incredibly attentive. It was easily one of the most hospitable hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel rooms were also renovated and very well maintained. Even the smaller rooms were more spacious than expected, and everything was incredibly clean.
The food at the venue is also INCREDIBLE. We had the filet mignon, salmon, and chicken piccata as our menu options, and truly couldn't decide which one was our favorite. The cocktail hour options were also amazing - everyone raved about the food! The waitstaff and bartenders were also very attentive during our reception - several family members specifically commented on the exceptional service!
Overall, The Breakers is an absolute hidden gem for those looking for an elegant wedding with ocean front views and old town charm. We wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend hosting your wedding here!

Shannon and her team were wonderful! They helped make our reception seamless! We asked for specific decor and they executed our vision! We felt the pricing was fair and gave many options, even for smaller wedding receptions. The view is unbelievable and having hotel rooms upstairs was so convenient as well as having the restaurant. The food is excellent!

The Breakers on the Ocean was the PERFECT wedding venue!! The planning process was so easy and they were so accommodating. Our ceremony was offsite but cocktail hour on the Ocean Terrace was incredible. The reception space is beautiful and the ocean views were beautiful! From food, to drinks, to the hotel rooms this venue is incredible and our favorite spot on the shore!!

Our experience working with The Breakers was nothing short of amazing. Their honestly is not an adjective out there to use to describe how great it truly was. And of course the day itself did not disappoint either. The resort/venue staff, the service staff, the maitre d, the servers/bartenders, the family owners were awesome, and to save the best for the last, our coordinator Gina, was without a doubt the best part of our amazing experience. From day one, all the way to the wedding day, Gina made our wedding so special and truly a dream come true. We would recommend having your wedding (or any event) at The Breakers. The BEST place to have a wedding!! Coordinating a wedding from across the country is not easy, but from our first meeting with Shannon, she made us feel right as ease and that everything was going to be taking care of. Everything was spelled out right in the beginning. We knew exactly the cost, what things were included and when they needed to know about certain decisions. Since both of our families were from out of town, we definitely needed to utilize the hotel block. Dana was so flexible and accommodating during the process! A few days before the wedding, The Breakers let us bring decor to stage in storage so we didn't have to worry. They also followed my plans for the details exactly how I spelled it out (they are not afraid of type A brides)! During the wedding day, things went beautifully. Better than I ever could have imagined. Michele (our maitre d') was just a delight. They had our welcome drinks ready for us after beach photos, Michele knew exactly how to bustle my dress without any instructions, we actually got to eat all our food (and the food was TO DIE FOR), they made sure all my little things (veil, shoes, etc) made it up to our hotel room, and even got our grandma a heated blanket because she was cold. This place is top notch. I would trust them with any wedding or any event!! Thank you Breakers for making our special day one to remember!

It was the best decision I ever made to have my wedding here! Absolutely beautiful wedding all thanks to JD and his amazing staff. He was so wonderful and easy to work with and make this whole process fun and as least stressful as possible. The day of went absolutely perfect because of everyones help- Sandra and Claudia were the best and made sure the night was perfect for us. The food was outstanding as well. I could not be happier!!!

I had my wedding reception at The Breakers two weeks ago, and I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. Sandy was our coordinator, and she was such a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure that all of our requests were met. She was truly there for us every step of the way, answering all of our questions promptly and scheduling meetings with us to touch base and discuss any updates prior to our wedding day. Our maitre d, Michele, was absolutely incredible - the service surpassed our expectations. Additionally, you cannot beat the location of this venue - right on the beach in the gorgeous town of Spring Lake, NJ. Our cocktail hour was on the Ocean Terrace and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The Crystal ballroom is beautiful and was a great space for our wedding of 150 people. The morning after our wedding we did a breakfast which was also a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this venue!!

JD, Marnee, and Michele provided us with a professional, well-coordinated, and relaxing wedding experience. To say I was an stress-free bride is a one-in-a-million type of experience, and JD REALLY contributed to this feeling of ease. JD was knowledgeable, caring, and made me feel like my wants and needs for my wedding day was a priority. The Breakers excelled in every area of service, from providing breakfast to our rooms, filling up our coffee and orange juice for mimosas, making sure everyone’s fillet is cooked perfectly, and never making sure that our martinis were low! I highly recommend this all-under-one-roof venue for anyone that wants a smaller, happy, easy-to-plan wedding!

If you're looking for a wedding venue that is truly magical, look no further than The Breakers on the Ocean. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our love. The owners of this boutique venue have created something that is absolutely stunning and intimate with beachfront charm and modern grace all within a picture perfect setting in Spring Lake.
The entire staff are truly exceptional, from the front desk, to the restaurant (Anna & Pepe Chewy) for our many out of town guests, our Welcome Party hostess in the Regency Room (Sandy) and of course the entire wedding crew (Claudia, Sandy, Michelle and all of our servers). They all went above and beyond to make sure our pre-wedding festivities and wedding day were everything we ever dreamed of. We have to give a special shout out to Shannon DiBenedetto, the director of sales who was an absolute lifesaver. She helped us with every detail (beginning to end), from planning the ceremony, suggesting vendors, coordinating the Welcome Party, cocktail hour and reception, and choosing the perfect menu. She was always available to answer our questions and offer her valuable expertise. By the time of our wedding day, we felt like Shannon was a member of our family.
Our guests are still talking about the amazing time they had, the delicious and plentiful food, the incredible views (we had a cotton candy sunset during our cocktail hour on the terrace!), and how wonderful the staff was.
We are so grateful to everyone at The Breakers for making our fairy tale wedding come to life. It was truly magical from the beginning to the end. Most couples told us their wedding day flashed before their eyes. For us, we were totally immersed, living in every moment, all made possible by our new family at Breakers. Thank you.

Our wedding at The Breakers was beyond all of our expectations. Not only did myself and my husband think everything was PERFECT, our guests did too. Everyone raved about the amazing food, the delicious deserts, and how great the bartenders and severs were. Our coordinator, Shannon, was accommodating, easy to work with, gave wonderful suggestions and made everything top notch. Our maître d', Michelle, is simply phenomenal at her job. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly and she did so with such ease and professionalism. Our personal server, Claudia, was attentive, detail oriented and so very kind. The Breakers went above and beyond for us on our special day and we are so grateful we chose such an amazing place to have our wedding. We had the absolute most idyllic wedding day thanks to everyone at The Breakers.

We are so thankful for the experience that we were able to have at Breakers on the Ocean.
We closely worked with Sandy during our time. She is supportive and truly helps make your vision come to life. All staff was kind and accommodating. We felt like family was taking care of us during the whole process.
The food was amazing! We went "jersey shore" a bit with our "sexy" truffle fries and slides at cocktail hour to a classic pork roll egg and cheese for a late night snack. This truly was a hit with our guests! During our reception we did a buffet style so that we could keep the party flowing more easily. For our 140 people, there was plenty of room on the dance floor and everyone was taken care of.
As we are getting our photos back from our photographer, we can't help by tear up when reliving our favorite day. We are so happy with our choice of having our wedding at Breakers on the Ocean.

My daughter’s wedding at the Breakers was simply beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The Breakers is a classic venue that let’s the elegance of Spring Lake and the Atlantic Ocean speak for themselves. The ballroom comfortably held our 165 guests for the ceremony. Everyone loved the cocktail hour on the porch. The service staff was wonderful all day. Shannon was a joy to work with for the many months between booking and the event. She was available in the days leading up to the wedding, and at our side the whole day of making adjustments on the fly – which is saying a lot considering the Breakers is a busy hotel in the beginning of it’s season. I’m really happy with the way the whole event went.

What made us decide on the this venue was experiencing the hotel in person, we met with Shannon almost a year ago and got a tour of the venue.
Her professionalism and kindness was unmatched. We stayed the night in the beautiful rooms and had dinner at the restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing. We knew almost immediately this was where we wanted to get married. Fast forward a year and the big day finally arrives and because of Shannon and her team things ran so smoothly, everything was absolutely perfect. The cocktail hour on the porch with the beautiful ocean view was unmatched. We could not have asked for a more amazing day. Everyone was always super helpful and professional. Where do I even begin! If you’re local to the Jersey shore, you know how iconic having your wedding at The Breakers is. Ever since I was a little girl it was my dream wedding venue. And somehow, it exceeded all of my childhood dreams and expectations. Shannon, our wedding day coordinator, was beyond amazing! She was so organized, remembered every detail between meetings, was so insightful, full of information, and was always available to answer all of my questions. Admittedly, I was a bit of a hyper-organized bride who wanted everything done way in advanced. Shannon was so accommodating to how my brain worked and never made me feel like I was bothering here with my tons of emails and calls! She made me feel so comfortable and stress free the entire process. I knew exactly what to expect and when. All of the staff at the Breakers were so professional, polite, and made myself and all of my guests feel like absolute royalty for my wedding weekend. No request was too small or too large for them to help with. Everyone was full of smiles and genuinely seemed happy to be a part of a strangers wedding day. I felt so special and individual. I never felt like I was “just another” wedding. Everyone really takes the time to know you and your wedding personally. The hotel itself is a beyond stunning and charming historic beachfront hotel. It’s almost like stepping back in time yet also a classic glamour feel. The food is incredible and my guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was. We loved how their wedding packages were organized and explicit in exactly what was included in the price. You absolutely will not regret having your wedding here, it was truly the best day of our lives. It’s been a few months since our wedding and we still have people reaching out telling us how beautiful and perfect it was! We are so blessed to have had our wedding here!

My daughter's wedding was at the Breakers. From the beginning of the year up to the wedding was so easy and stress-free every time we had a question Shannon and her staff would always answer with calmness and reassurance everything was going to be great . And it was we could not have changed anything to make the weekend any more special then it was. From the morning to the night the day went smoothly and beautiful. We had mixed experience for our wedding at the Breakers. Everyone said the food was amazing and the wait staff and event team did a great job handling everything on the wedding day. Michelle and Claudia were our maitre'd and attendant respectively handled the day-of flawlessly. However, before the wedding, communication with the Breakers event staff was difficult. From setting up a tasting to signature drinks and day-of logistics we felt like we were burdening them by asking basic questions. It seems they expect a lot of details to be discussed on the last meeting the week of the wedding which was stressful for us. The most egregious complaint on their lack of organization was that Shannon our coordinator forgot that my dad had passed away four times (aka every time we met) literally up to right before I walked down the aisle. None of our other vendors had any trouble with remembering my father had passed, so it felt like a reflection on her level of care for our wedding as a whole. If you are ok with poor communication, we still felt that Breakers was a steal for great food, quality of their staff, and as a hotel for our out of town guests.

Our wedding at Breakers was everything we could’ve dreamed of!! We booked over a year in advance of our wedding, so trust me when I say that they made the experience as painless as it could be. Our original event planner had to leave unexpectedly, and Breakers handled the transition as smoothly as possible. JD was absolutely amazing for the short time we worked with him, helping us plan every last detail and advising us along the way. He was always available for my stupid questions via email.
Breakers is an all-in-one venue, perfect for couples who can’t be bothered with some of the smaller details like centerpieces and linen colors. Breakers gave us three choices of centerpieces and two choices of tablecloth/napkin colors, leaving us to focus our energy elsewhere. We opted for a buffet wedding because we didn’t feel like getting our guests’ choices of dish beforehand. Even though we had a plethora of choices, Breakers still made a special dish for our one vegetarian guest at no additional cost, just to make sure she had something substantial to eat. They also helped us craft a signature cocktail for each of us, though I was told the bartenders complained that no one would order anything else at the bar! They also partner with a local cake shop, taking the stress out of that decision as well.
Sandra and all of the wait staff, though we didn’t know them as long, were absolutely excellent. We didn’t want for anything the entire night. It was an absolutely perfect experience.

Our wedding weekend at the Breakers was everything we hoped for and so much more! The venue’s beautiful ballroom was perfect for our indoor ceremony and our guests loved stepping out onto the veranda that overlooks the ocean during cocktail hour. Being able to get ready in our hotel rooms was so convenient and there was plenty of space for our wedding party and vendors. We loved getting to check in on Friday and not having to leave until Sunday. We held our rehearsal dinner, ceremony/reception, and next-day brunch all at the venue, so the whole weekend truly felt like a destination wedding. From our very first meeting with Sandy, we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to really get to know us and worked with us through every step of the process. She and her team flawlessly executed our vision and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of so that we could focus on celebrating with family and friends. We had the time of our lives and our guests raved about the gorgeous location and delicious food. We are so happy with our choice, and Sandy and the Breakers will always have a special place in our hearts!

We booked The Breakers on the Ocean for our daughter’s wedding weekend and now that it’s behind us, we are happy to say it was 100% the right choice! We worked with Sandy on the planning, and we could not have asked for a better partner. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding ceremony and reception, as well as the breakfast the next morning - everything was top notch and exactly what we had hoped for. Sandy, Sondra and Michelle and everyone on the staff were all instrumental in making our children’s vision into a reality. There was no detail overlooked - the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We simply can’t say enough how very happy we were with the entire wedding weekend and we feel like we’ve made new friends along the way.

I would highly recommend The Breakers on the Ocean for those looking for an oceanfront wedding venue. I had my ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at this beautiful venue and the day was picture perfect. Shannon and Michele executed the day perfectly and my guests raved about the food and atmosphere! Also recommend booking the executive suite the night before to get ready in the morning of at the Breakers as it had plenty of space for hair and makeup and made the day even easier to have everything done at one place.

If you are a food snob, love the ocean and have a passion for older Victorian - like architecture, this is the place for your wedding! We had an entire wedding weekend at the breakers (Fri-Mon) and it was a dream! It felt like we were at a destination wedding with friends and family. We spent time at the beach, at the pool, and even had our rehearsal dinner & post wedding breakfast there. The wedding was absolutely amazing. They all treat you like royalty & I could go on and on about the food… sooooo good! Def opt for the raw bar! It was to die for. 10/10 recommend having your wedding here!

Breakers is the absolute perfect venue if you want a local Jersey shore venue! We live right in Belmar so we absolutely loved this location. They were also the most affordable beach front venue around the area which was what we wanted. So if you’re looking for beach without spending a fortune, this is it. Sandy Denison is the wedding coordinator and she was so great from day 1 when we walked in to get a tour and info. We instantly felt a great vibe and knew we could trust her. She made everything completely stress free throughout the process. Breakers went above and beyond on our wedding day. I literally didn’t have to worry about a thing! The food was 10/10!!! Everyone raves about it. The hotel rooms are beautiful. Cocktail hour on the ocean terrace with the view was stunning. The ballroom is a smaller ballroom but perfect for our 120 person wedding. We wanted a more intimate and boutique feel for our wedding and Breakers delivers that. All of the wait staff and front desk were also superior. Honestly I cannot say enough good things about Breakers. Highly recommend!

The Breakers was a fabulous venue for our wedding reception . From the first day we met with the banquet manager we felt like we were part of their family. We had to change the date several times due to covid and a personal health issue. Each time we needed to reschedule they were more than accommodating.
The food from the cocktail hour through dinner was outstanding. We continue to get calls from our guests telling us how this was the nicest wedding reception they have ever been to. We have had many other events there and have never been disappointed. Everyone that took care of us that night was on point and the Breakers should be proud of the staff they have working for them. This has always been our favorite place for dinner and will ne for years to come.

Shannon was excellent in coordinating with us leading up to the day of the wedding. Michele was an A+ Maître D who kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire night. We had both our ceremony and reception on site, and the team there helped to make it a seamless transition! The food was also excellent; we received many compliments from guests about how great the cocktail hour was. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Breakers to anyone looking to get married on the Jersey Shore!

We had a great experience having our daughters wedding at The Breakers. The venue is beautiful and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout the planning process and day of the wedding. The room for the reception was decorated beautifully and we all had a wonderful time. It was a perfect day! Would definitely recommend!!

Our wedding was magical at The Breakers! The staff had gone above and beyond to ensure our day was just as we had imagined. The Breakers provided various vendors to help make the decisions easy for all of our day of needs. The hotel sits right across from the shore and with the view of the ocean for cocktail hour, our guests were in awe of the beauty and beachy feel of our day! The reception followed with great cocktails and food. The staff decorated the room beautifully with my vision in mind of a beachy and floral wedding day. Would highly recommend!

We had a great experience having our wedding at the Breakers! The planning process was easy and straight forward. We had both the ceremony and reception in the ballroom. Shannon and Michele were amazing and made sure the entire day went so smoothly! The food was also great. All of our guests had so many great things to say about the entire wedding!

The Breakers was the PERFECT place for our wedding and had everything we were looking for! Not only was it affordable, but the food was delicious and the views were better than we could have imagined. Our guests raved about the views of the beach as they enjoyed the cocktail hour on the outside terrace! We worked with Shannon and Michelle who worked tirelessly to ensure our wedding day was nothing but amazing. The Breakers is truly a hidden gem among Jersey Shore wedding venues and we cannot recommend this venue enough!

You're doing yourselves a disservice to not at least visit this venue. Shannon, Michelle, and the rest of the wedding team at The Breakers make the entire experience as stress-free as possible. The two reception areas are incredible, the food is amazing, and you overlook the ocean the entire night. At least pay them a visit and see what they have to offer.

We had our wedding at The breakers May 30, 2021. We had the most magical amazing wedding day thanks to The breakers. We had to plan our wedding from thousands of miles away and during covid . Luckily everything came together the day of the wedding . I was completely stress free on my wedding day. It was raining hard so we had to move everything inside but they made everything work smoothly . Would 100% recommend having your wedding here .

The Breakers was absolutely FANTASTIC from the moment we booked them for our wedding reception, throughout our COVID postponement, and until the day we were finally able to celebrate in October- a year after our original celebration. From the outset Shannon was a pleasure to work with and incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. The Breakers truly treats you like family and we couldn't have been happier that we stayed throughout the weekend and hosted our post-wedding brunch as well. As a COVID bride who had several other friends planning to get married during 2020-2021, I've heard so many horror stories of venues screwing over couples. Not the Breakers- they were the absolute best at communicating, rebooking us, and making everything seamless. The day of our wedding Michele was phenomenal as our maître d’ coordinating with our vendors and assisting myself and my husband throughout the day. The food was delicious and plentiful, our guests kept commenting on how good it was. The top shelf open bar was also one of our priorities when we were looking at venues- and the Breakers has it all without an extra charge for premium liquors. There is a reason why there are so many five-star reviews!! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful oceanside venue.

Our daughter's recent wedding was a sterling success due in large part to the spectacular services provided by the Breakers on the Ocean located in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Throughout the wedding ceremony, celebration and morning after breakfast, all of our needs were anticipated and addressed by Shannon, and Sandy. Their planning, implementation and oversight processes were absolutely flawless.

The Breakers were wonderfully accommodating when we had to significantly downsize our wedding and change our plans multiple times due to COVID. I so appreciate their planning expertise and all the precautions they took for our guests. Everyone from our wedding planners to the front desk to our fabulous servers took such good care of us all weekend. Our guests raved about the rooms and the food. It went absolutely beautifully, down to the littlest details. Thank you for helping to make our wedding so special!

My husband and I just got married on 5/15/21 at the Breakers. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue. The food, service, stunning views, and of course close proximity to the ocean (literally across the street) made this decision a no-brainer. Shannon, Michelle, Molly and their team were there every step of the way for the wedding planning process. We fell in love with the wrap-around porch which gives you the comfort of the ocean breeze and automatic happy vibes.
The porch is also where cocktail hour is held! Many of our guests traveled from out of state and they too could not get over how perfect this venue is! Would highly recommend!

Let me start by saying Sandy and The Breakers team have been AMAZING to work with!
We had the 2020 curveball thrown at us (like many others) which turned our original wedding plans upside down. The Breakers was willing to work with us through every step of the uncertainty as we approached our date and could not plan our big day as we had initially hoped. Due to the unprecedented circumstances and ever-changing guidelines, we made the difficult decision to drastically downsize our wedding and opted for an offsite event in the comfort of our yard.
We had wanted to keep The Breakers as part of our day and had asked if they’d be willing to switch gears and provide offsite services— catering, staff, etc. for our event. They agreed to the challenge, as they don’t typically provide offsite services, and they made it happen!!! The timeline was tight (~5 weeks) to replan and ensure that we could still have The Breakers wedding we wanted, even if it looked much different than our original plan. The team was so involved throughout the planning process and truly gave it their all to make this work— and they absolutely knocked it out of the park!!!
The day of went so smoothly thanks to the amazing team Sandy put together and we cannot thank them enough. The service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious, they kept safety at the forefront of the event, the team remained on top of all details, left everything spotless, and our guests were totally blown away (as were we). Overall such an amazing experience. I am SO grateful to Sandy and the team for everything that went into this day! No one could believe that this was not a “typical” Breakers service offering.
We are so so grateful and happy with our experience with The Breakers on our wedding day. They took the stress and anxiety over planning (and re-planning) this event and made sure we got everything we wanted regardless of the change in plans. Incredible team and experience, 10/10 recommend!!!

What to say about The Breakers? My fiancé and I fell in love the moment we saw it and our experience was top notch since day one. The care and love every single person puts into helping to plan your wedding is remarkable.
Unfortunately, our original wedding date was 4/24/20 and we had to postpone due to COVID. We rescheduled to 10/18/20 thinking everything would be ok- and it’s not. We shared our concerns with the breakers on the mandated no indoor dining and their empathy for us was unmatched. Unfortunately, because the Breakers did not have an outdoor option available for us, we made the decision to switch wedding venues (and downsize). This was heartbreaking for us but being the spectacular venue that they are- we received a full refund.
We have heard horror stories about venues not giving back money and we are so thankful that we didn’t fall into that category. We are so disappointed that we cannot have our wedding at our dream venue but we hope to let everyone know who reads this that if you choose this venue you will be treated like family from day one. And in today’s world, what more could you ask for?

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married at The Breakers this past October; and what a truly amazing experience it was! We stayed in a beautiful suite with an Ocean View for a relaxing night before the big day. The day of the wedding I was stress free as Shannon the Wedding Coordinator with help from the staff handled all vendors so I could get ready stress free. We took our wedding photos on the beautiful Spring Lake Beach & Boardwalk. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went on without a hitch. All of the little details I asked for were completed 100%. The day was everything I could have imagined and the staff was truly incredible. As the bride, I had a personal server for my reception and truly felt like a Queen. Not to mention the guests raves about the food! The small details and hospitality really made The Breakers stand out! Couldn’t have been any better!

The Breakers on the Ocean was a perfect venue for our wedding! From the beautiful ballroom to the delicious food to the amazing staff and the gorgeous ocean view, The Breakers made this an unforgettable experience. Our wedding coordinator, Eileen, was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with. She was very accommodating to what we needed every step of the way-she even had the hotel hold off from putting out Halloween decorations so they weren't in the pictures (per my wife's request haha). The owners of the hotel are also AMAZING people! They gave us complementary drinks and made us feel special the entire weekend we were there and even in the following months. They recently posted a picture of my wife and her bridesmaids on International Women's Day, which made her day. My wife and I also stayed there for a few nights and the ocean view suite we stayed in was fantastic. Overall, our experience here was amazing and we highly recommend The Breakers to any couple considering this venue for their big day!

The Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake is the PERFECT wedding venue. We as the bride's family and all of our guests were given the utmost attention from everyone who works there!! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and happy to help in any way possible, including helping this mother of the bride bustle my daughter's wedding dress!!!
The Breakers truly went out of their way to make sure every detail was perfect, from sending ice to the bridal suite while getting ready, replenishing the many tasty appetizers at the cocktail reception, serving up bountiful amount of delicious food at the wedding reception and giving every guest personalized attention throughout the entire evening.
My daughter the bride, her husband the groom and so many of our family and friends remarked what a special wedding we were blessed to have at the Breakers!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend anyone considering a wedding to look no further and book this beautiful wedding venue. You could easily spend much more elsewhere and not get the unforgettable day we shared at the Breakers.

I wish there were more than 5 stars I could choose to rate the Breakers on the Ocean!! We had my daughter's spectacular wedding at the Breakers in November 2019 and it was perfect in everyway!! The Breakers gave us the most perfect wedding from start to finish & made all our hopes & dreams for a beautiful wedding come true!!! The venue is so gorgeous inside & out with panoramic views of the ocean as a backdrop to their stunning hotel...probably the best along the Jersey shore!! The pre-wedding plans were made so easy, pleasant & every detail was discussed. The day of the wedding was beyond my dreams for my daughter's wedding..the cocktail hour was held in the spacious main dining room , we then moved to the beautiful Crystal Room..the food was delicious, the wait staff was amazing & all our family & friends still rave about the entire event!! Most of us then stayed in the hotel after the wedding..the rooms were so lovely & again with amazing views from every room!! I highly recommend having any event you may be planning at the Breakers...the Scardino family, their wonderful staff & this gorgeous hotel will give you an event that will make your dreams come true, give you a day you will love & memories you will treasure forever!!!
