Breezy Point Resort - Brainerd Lakes POPULAR Resort

I highly recommend Breezy for your upcoming wedding! It was a beautiful location even on a rainy day! All of my guests were traveling to the location and many have told me they cannot wait to come back a different time just to enjoy a stay. The food was excellent and the employees were extremely nice. Brandi was such a pleasure to work with, easy to communicate with and made our dream of that day to come true.

I cannot rave enough about Breezy Point, Brandi and her team! When starting our research for an all in one resort location Breezy Point was the most budget friendly without skimping on the details. On our first visit/tour with Brandi, she showed us multiple options for the ceremony and also multiple locations for the reception space along with decorations/ideas that can be added. We even booked the Boat House (for a great price) for our immediate family to get ready in and spend the weekend. We were able to decorate the day before and the Day of Brandi and her team kept in contact with us to check in and see if we needed anything and also looked at our ceremony/reception spaces to make sure they were set the way we wanted. They even let us store our leftover dessert in the fridge overnight. Everything was so perfect. It was very important to us that the ceremony and reception were at the same site and that guests could stay on site with us to spend the day/night. Breezy Point was perfect for this and Brandi and her team made the planning process so easy!!! We got so many compliments on the place itself, the food and the overall experience.

Breezy Point will forever hold a special place in our hearts! We had the best day of our lives at Breezy! When i first reached out to Brandi about pricing and options for a summer wedding, she was very responsive and made the experience SO EASY! From the communication, pricing, options, flexibility.. the list goes on! We had the most perfect outdoor MN summer wedding. The resort is so accommodating and my guests had an absolute blast the whole weekend. There is so much to do! We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the resort again! Our guests had so much fun and we will cherish that weekend forever! We also had our rehearsal dinner on the Breezy Belle, which is a MUST! It was such a fun, unique experience!

We loved having our wedding at Breezy Point Resort!! Brandi, the wedding coordinator, was so easy to work with. She was wonderful and completely honored what we wanted and made our day amazing! She replied quickly and thoughtfully to each email or phone call. She was very organized, kind and professional -- exactly what we were looking for. Her staff was also fantastic. They were so helpful and catered to our every need for the duration of the whole event. The food was absolutely delicious, and I totally suggest trying the Prime Rib Buffett!! OUTSTANDING!! I would highly recommend having your wedding or reception at Breezy Point Resort. They made the best day of our lives even better!

Breezy Point Resort made our wedding day the Best day ever! The resort was great at asking me what I wanted and what I didn’t want especially Brandy their wedding coordinator. She replied to all of my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. I had used real live gold fish for my centerpieces and they accommodated me with buckets of water for my fish so I didn’t have to worry about filling them up myself. They went the extra mile!

Before you book your wedding here cosider a couple things: 1.) They dont provide any kind of service During my wedding I was charged for every chair cover, table cloth, and cake tray. One of my guests who flew from Australia wanted chicken strips at the wedding and I was approached about this $8 meal while I was eating at my wedding. The area I rented on the beach was not clean, not set up properly, and there were people swimming right next to my ceremony. 2.) Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Location Breezy Point does not technically own this. The day of the wedding I found over 50 sun bathers and swimmers next to my ceremony watching and are now in the background of my wedding photos. 3.) The Wedding Coordinator- Brandi She can be found smoking while 'working' near my event . She is there to happily charge you for everything and provide no service or coordination whatsoever. I even heard her talking trash about me to my sister. Words of Advice: Start providing service and don't talk bad about your paying customers

Breezy Point Resort helped SAVE my wedding. Brandi helped coordinate and arrange everything for us after our wedding disasters struck; original venue CLOSED 2 months before our date and yours truly, the bride, broke her leg a month before walking down the aisle. I highly recommend Breezy Point resort. We had a February wedding and we wanted it to be small (60 people) and fun. The Lakeside Ballroom was perfect for what we had in mind. The staff was AMAZING; Kind, helpful, smiley and courteous. They even brought me a wheel chair for the night! Definitely contact Breezy Point Resort and talk to Brandi about your wedding ideas. She is awesome!

Even with less then ideal weather, the staff made our wedding go off perfectly!! Brandi was easy to work with and helped us plan a whole weekend of activities for our out of town guests.

Breezy Staff was exceptional!! Brandi was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing! Everything went so smoothly! Our guests raved about the food. The White Birch room was decorated amazingly! Ryan from Spectrum entertainment was awesome!! BEST DAY EVER!!

We just had our wedding at Breezy Point this June and enjoyed every second of it! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable in answering our many questions we had. The resort was beautiful and very accommodating for all ages. Our wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly and we never felt worried about details getting taken care of. They even had a plan B all set up for the ceremony since it was raining at extra cost. The rain cleared and we kept it outside, but the fact they had plan B set up without us requesting shows they had our back on our big day. The food for the reception was incredible and our guests are still talking about it! I recommend the prime rib buffet ;)

Breezy Point was a fantastic location for our wedding. We had all-around great service by all staff. Everything was clean and professional. Brandi, our coordinator, was extremely helpful before and on the actual day. After making some adjustments to the food (eg., dark meat chicken in addition to white meat), it was fantastic and perfect for our families' preferences. It did get a little wild at the bar on Friday and Saturday night after 11pm, but that was not a problem for our guests. Overall, great experience. A perfect destination wedding right in Minnesota!

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at Breezy Point. The entire day was seamless due to the professional way Breezy staff handled everything with all of our vendors, family, and guests. Brandi was amazing from the day we met her. She coordinated everything beautifully, always got back to us quickly with answers to our thousands of questions. We had a late October wedding and using the pavilion was the perfect way to have an outdoor ceremony at that time of the year no matter what kind of weather we had. The food was fabulous and had great reviews from our guests. The Lakeside Ballroom for our reception was absolutely gorgeous. It over looked the lake and we had plenty of room for guests to move around and dance. Tables were spaced nicely apart so nobody felt too squished. We were able to set up most of the reception space the day before making the morning of the wedding easy for everyone involved. The fall colors were gorgeous for our wedding photos. We would do the exact same thing again and plan to celebrate all of our anniversaries there.

Our wedding exceeded our expectations and we owe most of that to Breezy Point Resort! Every staff member had a great attitude and their customer service culture was exceptional! Anything and everything we needed they took care of! The bartenders, boat captain, servers, maids, maintenance men, etc. not only provided great service but were just as excited as we were about our wedding! This post would not be complete without giving the biggest shout out to Sylvia, our event coordinator. She is truly an unbelievable asset to Breezy Point Resort. The wedding planning process would not have been the same without her and it was so comforting to know that we could count on her to make the weekend perfect. We received countless compliments from our guests so I think it's safe to say that Breezy Point knocked it out the park and you've gained visitors for life! We can't thank all the staff enough for helping to create the wedding of our dreams!

Breezy point is an absolutely beautiful place to have your wedding. Our coordinator Brandi was so incredibly helpful and always got back to us right away with questions. She was also always more than willing to accommodate our special requests and made ur wedding turn out beautiful! I would reccomend Breezy Point to anyone looking to get married!

Our wedding at breezy point was amazing! Our whole weekend went completely flawlessly. Sylvia Swanson was our wedding coordinator and she was super on top of things, easy to get ahold of, and overall so knowledgeable about everything. My husband and I live 3 hours from the resort so it was really important to have someone so easy to get in contact with. They were very reasonably priced and all of our guests raved about our food and how great the hotel and staff were. I 100% recommend these guys. The resort itself is beautiful and our pictures turned out amazing thanks to all the gorgeous scenery. We got married in February so it wasn't their busy season, but they had great deals for the winter time including free breakfast and free happy hour included with your stay. Overall just an incredible experience, and we can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Breezy Point Resort. From the moment I booked the venue, I felt that everyone was there to make my special day the best it could be. It was absolutely beautiful and I received so many compliments!

Breezy Point and its staff did a wonderful job. They were very courteous and made everything look awesome! The only downfall if you are rooming there, it is a little outdated.

Breezy Point Resort is a wonderful place to get married! WE had our wedding on the Point Lawn and the weather was gorgeous. Our reception was on the Breezy Belle Paddleboat. The staff was GREAT, very helpful. Our wedding planner, Brandi Hitchler, was fantastic, and is a great asset to Breezy Point resort.

We rented the Wright House for a small, intimate outdoor wedding. The venue was perfect. House was huge, perfect outdoor patio, huge dining area. All remodeled and very nice. want to stay there again. Just beautiful and perfect for our needs

Breezy Point was an amazing place to not only get married but have an amazing party for all of our guests. There were some glitches that came up that I, as the bride, did not find out about until after (so obviously, on the day of, I was stress free). We were married in the Pavilion at Antler's. We were told chairs would be set up by 10 am so we'd be able to decorate as needed. Chairs were set up far after 10 am and therefore we needed to improvise and decorate as best we could without the chairs. We also purchased several (20-30) bottles of wine for our guests at the reception; right before the intro of the wedding party we were told that the bar was charging people for wine - I wasn't so happy about this. Also, several guests weren't able to check into their rooms until 7 pm on Friday night (after rehearsal)... it is an amazing resort filled with summer fun and hosts a lot of weddings so this was not as surprising. Our wedding coordinator was great but the week before the wedding she went over our invoice and how we wanted everything set up and she had 80% of it wrong. It caused a wee bit of stress 10 days before the wedding wondering if we were going to have the tables we asked for, etc. With all of that said, our wedding day was incredible. In the end everything turned out beautiful and we had more compliments than we could have wished for regarding how beautiful the whole day was. I'd definitely recommend Breezy to anyone looking for a "local destination wedding" - just make yourself clear and precise on all decisions you make with your coordinator.

We just went for 4 days after our wedding to relax after all of the craziness but we LOVED IT! The food was out of this world amazing, the golf was awesome, and the staff was some of the best I have ever encountered!

Breezy Point Resort is a beautiful and fun location to have a wedding. The customer service and communication between staff could have been better for my guests that were checking in and for setting up the outdoor ceremony. However, the bartenders, serving staff, and manager at the resort were absolutely wonderful and very helpful with any questions that I asked or anything that I needed. It was a fun place to get away to for a short vacation and has many options for places to stay, places to eat, golf, and many other activities.

We booked this location for our wedding on Sept. 24, 2011. It turned out to be a beautiful dispite all the things that happened leading up to it. We decided to go with this location in the Brainerd area because the wedding planner/organizer there was great to work with at first. As soon as they got the down payment on the event and hotel rooms contact with her died off. She kept putting my questions off until a week before the wedding, oh we'll take care of that then was her response to most things. A week before we were heading up there for the wedding weekend we finalized everything with her, times, decorating, ceremony, dinner. Everything was going smoothly and sounded great. We had a small group of 23 people attending the wedding all family. The next day after we had finalized everything we found out that there was a lunch in the room we were suppose to decorate for dinner. The entire 6 months we were planning this they told us we could get in there in the morning so we wouldn't have to worry about it. she basically emailed, (no phone call) to tell me we couldn't get in there until 230 to decorate. the same time our pictures were starting and having such a small wedding wiht only family, they needed to be there for pictures as well. She was hard to work with after this and wasn't even going to be in town the day of the wedding so the one person i had contact with wasn't even going to be there the weekened of our wedding to help out with things. The ceremony spot was very nice, we got married on the point lawn in the sun! beautiful. other than the mishap with the wedding planner and decorating it was a great place. our families stayed in the eagles nest cabins and we had a very nice weekend of hanging out and being with everyone. the food at the marina where we had the dinner was alright. not work the price for the steaks though. had better. over all we made the best of what we had to work with there

The food was delicious. I have never had a steak that was cooked so well at a wedding before. It was near perfection. The Walleye was also a big hit with my guests. The view was amazing. Our room overlooked the lake and it was beautiful.

Breezy Point did a great job coordinating with me for our wedding, finding the time to meet with me as I was an out of state bridem and just making sure we had everything we needed on our big day. The venue was clean ready to go and we received so many comment. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else! Gorgeous!

nice amenities, plenty of space and flexibility to have what you want on your day, plus all your guests can stay on-site!

Breezy Point was wonderful! We were treated like royalty during the entire weekend and everything turned out perfectly.

We had just shy of 400 people come and the room was big enough that it didn't feel great. All of the staff was super organized and prompt. One compliment we received from a lot of people was that they served all of the childrens meals when they served the adults their salads. That way they had something to keep them occupied.
