Brenda and her crew went above and beyond my floral dreams for my wedding! I wanted lots of different colors to complete our beautiful outdoor venue. The bouquets were amazing and I wanted it with me for every photo. They did an amazing job with centerpieces and the floral along the aisle made the ceremony perfect!

A Little Mistake That Cost a Bride $2,000 I am the bride as you might imagine, with the venue I chose, Brenda Abbott's day of coordination was included in the price. Once I discovered this, I decided to just hire her entirely for floral arrangements as well as a full service coordinator (not just day of coordinator). I hired her with plenty of a heads up: 1 year before the wedding. What came next surprised me. Below is a breakdown of the Floral Service AND the Full Service Coordination as there were multiple issues with Brenda Abbott's ability to live up to her promises. Floral Service: 1. Her quote was 4 TIMES every single other floral quote I received, even with the same type of flowers and arrangements. 2. When I reached out about it being out of budget, she proceeded to tell me to "remove items from the quote" instead of working with me on the pricing. The quote included basic arrangements, nothing special so removing items would've been bridesmaid bouquets. 3. Items I requested due to the preferred colors, were immediately shot down as "you don't want that". 4. Don't fall for the "only florist in Bastrop" statement. You can hire florists from Austin and YOU'LL SAVE THOUSANDS. Full Service Coordination Service: 1. Brenda lacked the ability to remember large details or retain information. 2. She was not proactive in anyway shape or form. 3. For someone that says she has "years of experience coordinating weddings" she definitely doesn't have the mentality to ensure a Bride that has NEVER had a wedding before is setup for success. 4. There is no proactive communication on timeline of events, i.e. "What to be prepared for at the 1 year before, 6 months before, 3 months before, day of marks." 5. She did NOT show up the day of the wedding. She didn't even have her assistant prepared for the day of. I was asked basic questions at 8:30AM on my wedding day that should've been asked weeks before. 6. Brenda has zero empathy or even a care about you as a person. I had to ask her 3 TIMES to remove my mom from the list of "attendees", "family members that walk down the isle" as she passed away 5 years ago. tl;dr If you made it this far and just want a short and sweet warning here it is: --- DO NOT USE BRENDA ABBOTT FOR ANY OF HER SERVICES, YOU WILL BE STRESSED FROM HER LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. ---

Brenda Abbott did an incredible job for the flowers for our wedding at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort! Brenda initially asked for an idea board to get an idea of the colors and overall theme of the wedding. After that, she took it from there and at first I was unsure about the fact I wouldn't see the finished product until the day of. Some advice from this Bride: My flowers were perfect, Brenda Abbott knows her art and business and I couldn't have been more pleased. Trust in her talent and keep the fun of being surprised - because it will be even more beautiful than you imagined/pinned! I got so many compliments on our flowers and how well everything tied together. Thank you Brenda!

Brenda Abbott and her team did an incredible job with our floral arrangements for our wedding!!!! I was so impressed and pleased. She was so patient being the typical bride I changed my mind after our original discussion of what I invisioned for the wedding and without a question she made the changes I wanted and everything was perfect! Brenda is fabulous to work with; i'm soooo thankful my friend found her haha! My friend for married a year before and her wedding was stunning. When I started the planning process she recommended Brenda Abbott to me right off the bat. I trusted her and made an appointment... I never even shopped around for florists after meeting Brenda. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about all the different flowers, succulents and colors I wanted to use. I brought several pictures of ideas I had seen online and she designed the most perfect and beautiful bouquets and boutineers for my wedding, even better than anything I had shown her... We put the deposit down that day and had no regrets! Highly, highly recommend Brenda!

Brenda Abbot was absolutely amazing! She made the planning process so easy. I was not one of those brides that had a vision of what I wanted but I knew what I did not want. After spending 5 minutes with Brenda, I knew that she got it. She knew the vision and I entrusted her fully. The outcome was more than I could have imagined and everything was beautiful. Our guests loved our décor, especially the "LOVE" backdrop sign that we had at the reception. I highly recommend Brenda and her team!

I used Brenda as both my day of coordinator and for my flowers/decor. I immediately knew she was the one I wanted to work with when she actually took notes and asked so many questions about what I was looking to accomplish for my wedding. I wanted a romantic atmosphere and that is exactly what I received. My flowers and the color pallette was just gorgeous and absolutely on point. Additionally, she was able to provide the decor I was looking for and when she did not have certain things in her armamentarium she researched what I was looking for and made it happen. She isn't afraid to let you take the wheel on ideas that you have, however I definitely needed her guidance and she was able to steer me in the right direction of my vision. Where Brenda really exceeded all expectations was her role as my day of coordinator. Everything that could go wrong with a wedding did the day of... Thankfully, I had hired her for this service because if I hadn't it would have absolutely ruined my wedding... She handled ALL the catastrophes that happened, including moving the ceremony venue to an indoor location because of weather (which I was heartbroken about but she made everything so beautiful for the ceremony), she was about to keep a couple of VERY misbehaved children at bay and dealt with the aftermath of a ruined wedding/grooms cake (unfortunately the bakery delivery person got in a car wreck upon delivering our cakes-- he was ok, thankfully but the cakes were gone...). Looking back I think if I had to deal with this myself I would have had a meltdown and it would have put a damper on the wedding for me...but Brenda never faltered and that attitude kept me calm and at peace. I am so grateful that I came across her and I would wholeheartedly recommend her-- she and her assistants were just splendid!

Brenda and her staff are nothing short of AMAZING! I had so many questions for her and she had the patience of a saint!! My husband and I LOVED the ambience she created and how romantic she made everything feel. She is so creative and created such a special day for us that I can't thank her enough!! She was truly a pleasure to work with and I will always use her for any event I host. She also did my day of planning and if there was any glitch at my wedding, I never knew about it! She is so so amazing and worth every penny!

I received many emails from Brenda Abbott for florals. I responded to one of her emails with a request for a quote. I received a response very quickly, asking if we could talk on the phone. I gave a time and she called. What I received on that phone call was something you would hear in a reality tv show. After questions about the location, she asked what it was I was looking for, so I explained I needed a quote to compare and contrast to other florist so that I may choose a florist. She then said to me, "People choose me because I'm the best! I do not give "quotes" for the use you need, Quotes take time and time is money!" I have never felt so disrespected by a florist, whom I'd never met! What was the need to berate someone who needs help? I was so disappointed in her response, I decided to write that response here. I think that people should be a little more humble and respectful when dealing with future clients.

My husband and I hired Brenda to provide all the flowers and linens for our wedding on September 6 in Round Top, TX. Despite me not having a definite idea of what I wanted (I just sent a few pictures of things I liked), Brenda did an amazing job of designing the most beautiful floral arrangements! The style was perfect, and I got nothing but endless compliments on the flowers throughout the night. Thank you, Brenda!

Met with Brenda, she took notes and we talked about what we wanted. She exceeded out expectations with design, color and presentation. We were extremely satisfied with the wedding flowers. The Bridal bouquet was exactly what we hoped for, and so was the bride's hair flowers. Bouts, table flowers, cake flowers all met our expectations.

My daughter's wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful. Brenda helped us choose them, offered creative ideas, made a sample center piece and created a unique arrangement from a photo we gave her. She had lots of samples of arches and unusual pieces set up in her shop making it easy to picture how the room would look. She was great to work with ... A sweet, sweet lady, a professional with a professional staff. Very reasonable prices, too. My guests commented on how lovely and unique the flowers were. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

I am so pleased with my decision to use Ms. Abbott for my wedding at the Hyatt Lost Pines. She was friendly and professional. I gave only a few recommendations and let her have creative freedom--I could not have been more pleased with the outcome! The bridal bouquet is still being talked about by friends and family; my little flower girls loved their halos and floral wands. She also had some wedding props that added extra 'pop' to our visual displays. She was incredibly efficient with communication and service. I recommend her services without hesitation.

Freesia and Ranunculus made the perfect bridal flower. Brenda and her staff were friendly, professional, and produced gorgeous flowers! They also lasted days after the wedding!!

Brenda Abbott provided the floral arrangements for our May wedding at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa. Everything from the large, dramatic ceremony arrangements to the wreaths in our flower girls' hair was perfect! Brenda was able to bring our vision to life while completely exceeding our expectations. The flowers were very high quality and the service was professional. Brenda was extremely friendly and a good partner able to accommodate some last minute additions and changes to our original order. I highly recommend Brenda Abbott Floral Design!

If any of you are planning a destination wedding or are considering one, look into having it near brenda abbott's town!!! I could not have had the wedding of my daughter's dreams without brenda abbott! she is absolutely the best. she handled everything from beginning to end. and so calm doing it! it was to be an outdoor wedding and partial reception, before coming inside for the remaining few hours. the rain came and everyone worried except for brenda who knew exactly what to do. she handled it beautifully and the wedding could not have been prettier. she is the most creative person you will ever meet and fun to work with as well! i feel very blessed in getting to work with her and getting to know her. there is not enough stars in the overall rating system for this florist/wedding specialist!

The flowers at our wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Brenda has an amazing eye for flower arangements and was able to take the few ideas we gave her and transform them into our dream arangements! Gorgeous!

Brenda Abbott provided the flowers for my January 8th wedding at Lakeway Resort and Spa. She was really able to capture exactly what we wanted for our floral decorations for both the ceremony and the reception. Having a winter wedding, we wanted our flowers to be all different shades of white and she was able to create exactly what I was imagining. The flowers were extremely high quality and the service was professional. I visited her shop in Bastrop and she was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend her not only for the quality of flowers but also for the quality of the design and the time, effort, attention, and high skill level that she puts into making your wedding flowers and decorations perfect.

Extremely innovative design and superb execution! She gave me everything I wanted dreamt up fabulous show-stopping pieces and all her attention to detail had the guests mesmerized. Our wedding and reception flowers were over the top and she worked within our budget delivered on time and went above and beyond on service! We couldn't have chosen a more professional talented florist! Floral artistry at its best! Spent: $9000.;If you want your flowers to be show stopping and set the stage for your event you will most likely spend more than 10% of your budget. I know I did. IT WAS WORTH IT.
