Brian is amazing! Hands down the best photographer I’ve ever used. We had Brian take our engagement photos and loved the experience and the outcome so had him come back for the wedding and he amazed us again. He is fun, energetic, and will do and climb on anything for the perfect shot, a truck, tree, etc. My wife and I will be using Brian anytime we need professional photos done. Brian takes great photos, that’s a fact. But that’s not why you should book Brian to shoot your wedding… you book Brian because he will make your wedding better in every way! HIGH energy from the time he arrived to take our “getting ready” photos until we lit the sparklers to leave late into the night. The energy was contagious! He will climb on random trucks or run like a madman in order to get the perfect shot. Our bridal party and guests were all singing his praises, and I may have to get married again just to hang out with him another time!!!

Brian immediately made us feel warm and welcome in his presence. We gave him basic ideas of what we wanted, he worked his magic and completely blew us away! He was eager and open to taking and giving suggestions. His personality is truly magical and incredibly outgoing. My husband and I definitely would recommend Brian so much that we had him shoot our engagement photos, our wedding (COVID), and our wedding reception a year later. He does spectacular work (and is the life of the party) and we seriously cannot recommend him enough!!

Where to even start! Brian is absolutely wonderful and an incredibly talented photographer! He was so much fun to work with and was right there helping me with not only a plan for wedding day pictures, but anything wedding related! Including helping with a wedding day time line. Which was great since I was planning a NOLA destination wedding from TX! You can tell he has a passion for what he does. He was an amazing wedding guest- everyone said how much fun he was as he was taking millions of pictures and how much energy he brought to the wedding lol. From picking perfect locations around the French quarter for our first look and bridal portraits, to making it feel like we were on a magazine photo shoot....he truly made my wedding day incredibly memorable and I have the beautiful pictures to look at forever!

Not only does he take the most amazing and creative photos (for real he will do anything for the shot), he has an AMAZING personality! Getting married during the pandemic was hard, but Brian made it 100% better! There isn’t one picture I don’t like that he’s taken!

Brian was wonderful! He was on time and pumped to photograph our wedding! He took the time to meet with us ahead of time to discuss and work out the details. I was a bit disorganized on the big day, and I wish I had printed out the prompt sheets for photos that he had given me and put someone officially in charge of making sure I got all the different people combos in my photos. Listen to him, he has lots of experience and the best in mind for his clients. Brian has also been extremely patient as we took time to select our photos and is very responsive to emails and questions. His photos are beautiful, too! I originally chose him for the way he captured adventures in Chicago, he has a way of finding the beautiful in each shot. He was great at giving us suggestions to make amazing memories and listened to our ideas. Brian was the absolute perfect photographer for our wedding!

Brian and his assistant were so much fun, but very professional at the same time! An excellent choice for a quality photographer for sure! Brian is hands down one of the best photographers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! We had a destination wedding and I’m not sure where I stumbled upon Brian but I thank my stars that I did. He was prompt for all questions pre wedding, he actually helped me figure out the timeline for the wedding itself. The day off he was just the ray of sunshine that I needed. When things started going wrong (because they always do) Brian came through immediately with solutions. He was a favorite among all of the guests! I absolutely loved working with him and would recommend him like 10 times over. Even post wedding he has been prompt for any questions I have for our Wedding Album. You can guarantee any future event I have in New Orleans I will definitely be looking to book Brian. His work is fabulous but his ethic is even better!!

COVID-19 couldn't get the best of us. We made the very difficult decision of basically splitting our wedding in half. Brian was very supportive of our decision and helped capture our 10 person mini-mony in May 2020, which was in the very empty French Quarter of New Orleans (great for pictures!) We decided we wanted to share the ceremony with all of our family/friends, so Brian helped us live-stream it as well! We will be having our 'happily ever after party' in 2021, and Brian will be there with us too. Brian made me & my husband as well as our immediate family comfortable for our photos. Couldn't be happier with our ceremony and portrait pictures <3

If you’re getting married in NOLA book this guy!!! We had a destination wedding and I lucked out randomly finding him. He was the life of the party and all my wedding guests still talk about how awesome the photographer was. He was an instant hit and someone who had never met a stranger. I am not a typical bride that knew what I wanted, so I’m so thankful he just made pictures happen. He lights up the room and you won’t regret getting a “welfie” with him. We are beyond happy with our pictures. We are not super models, but he made you feel like one the whole time.....and look like one with his magic. 5/5 stars totally happy!!!

Brian is so easy and wonderful to work with. My now husband, Louis, and I threw together a quick and quiet wedding in New Orleans’ City Park. Brian made our portraits look top notch and our ceremony perfectly planned. We got through all of our portrait shots and even had time to squeeze in extra pictures with our extended family because we got through everything we wanted without feeling rushed. Instead, we felt super taken care of. When we got our final proofs to look over, I was overjoyed with how pretty they came out. We’re looking to have a larger ceremony and reception in the near future and wouldn’t want any other photographer to do it all again with.

Brian is a rockstar! Leading up to the wedding he checked in regularly with me, always made sure he had answered all my questions. At the wedding he was energetic, attentive, and kept giving us hints and tips throughout the reception to make sure we got the absolute best photos of the key things we'd want to remember (first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc). We chose to wait and take all pictures after the ceremony, so he had to be quick to take ALL of the family and bridal party pictures--he handled it with grace and kept everyone happy and smiling through a ton of shots. He also took my husband and I aside at sunset and got some great pictures of just the two of us--doing so quickly so that we didn't miss much of the reception. I highly recommend Brian!

We couldn’t recommend Brian Jarreau Photography enough!! He was everything we wanted in a photographer and more. Not only did he arrive early for our beach wedding to get the lay of the land, but was on site and ready to go before anyone else was so that he was absolutely prepared for the day. This was so very helpful for us, because it allowed us to know what was going on when we arrived to begin the day. In a way, he also filled a lot of roles that a wedding planner would do. It wasn’t in the cards for us to hire one, so needless to say, we were very appreciate and thankful because we don’t think the day would have run as smoothly as it did without his knowledge! Brian brings with him a wonderfully bright personality, and honestly, he couldn’t have fit in any better than he did with our vibrant crowd. He seems to have a way of meshing and maneuvering around any crowd he finds himself in. Brian did anything we asked of him. He was 100% professional and knew exactly what he needed to do. He actually offered us up some wonderful suggestions and tips which helped us immensely. Beyond all of this, his pictures were absolutely breathtaking. We didn’t question that they would be anything less. He got them to us in a timely manner and we had no concerns; only “oohs” and ”ahhs”! We have to mention that Brian had actually been hurt in an accident prior to our wedding, but we can say with full confidence that he still showed up to do his job and then some. It wasn’t even a question of “if” he would come. And to make sure that everything went smoothly for us, he brought a second photographer at no additional cost! This type of professional is unmatched. We feel bad that we lucked out in that deal, but we’d be lying if we said that we weren’t excited and profoundly grateful! His second cameraman can be described as having all the same qualities as Brian does, including the phenomenal pictures we received! We really can’t say enough here about Brian Jarreau Photography. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their photographer!!

Brian was phenomenal as the photographer for our wedding. I expressed to him beforehand that I was a laid back bride. I wanted to have pictures that showed our real personalities. I also did not want to spend a ton of time taking posed pics. From the moment he arrived to our hotel he had such a fun and amazing attitude. He is hilarious and really set us at ease. He was so efficient and captured everything I wanted. He was also a hit with our guests! People are still telling me how awesome our photographer was, capturing super fun pics at our receoption. And during our second line?!! Wow! He was literally running, climbing and leaping to catch pics. And dancing and celebrating a bit with us too. ☺️ If you want someone who is talented, professional, funny and personable, Brian is it. Consider it a huge life fail if you do not choose him for your wedding or event.

Brian shot our wedding on March 3, 2018 and did a wonderful job! We had a very large wedding party (20) and he handled us with ease. He also followed all my requests for specific shots, and had a great eye for seeking out spots along the way that fit with our vision. The wedding itself was over 300 invitees in a large space that spanned two rooms and I am pretty sure he captured all of them somehow, I had several guests comment after how much they liked my photographer and had pictures taken with him! I would highly recommend Brian, on top of being extremely professional as well as easy and fun to work with, his packages were exactly what we were looking for, I was really impressed with the quality and selection of his products! Very satisfied customers!

Wow—Brian is amazing!! Brian shot my wedding in New Orleans and I can’t image the wedding without him! I'm not here to write a review about Brian's photography - his albums here on the Knot & on his website already speak to the quality of his work much better than I ever could. I'm here to write about Brian the person, Brian the professional, and Brian as a part of the crew making your wedding day wonderful! As NOLA expats, we sent emails to a TON of photographers - throwing darts at the board based on friend recommendations, website recommendations, & blind luck. Brian was one of the quickest to get back to us and his first email had me rolling in laughter. I asked my fiance (now husband!) to read it, and even he cracked up. We were smitten. We booked him and set up an engagement shoot during our planning weekend about 6 months before the wedding. I told Brian that we are a quirky couple, and we really didn't want to do a shoot in the normal "longingly-staring-in-each-other's-eyes-in-the-quarter" kind of way. We did our shoot in an abandoned building at Brian's recommendation & it turned out fabulous and so very us! As they wedding day drew closer (and my patience with wedding planning wore thin) I told Brian "I trust you - just tell us where we should show up for pictures." I never thought about it again, and that trust paid off! Brian was right on time to our hotel for the getting ready shots, and met my (absolutely fed up with the people I loved dearest) energy to help bring it back around. He & his assistant were efficient, comforting, and made great use of every moment. He found us an absolutely gorgeous spot between the hotel & venue for portraits, and by the time they were done and we were rolling up to the venue, we were ahead of schedule and I was at peace with the universe. After the wedding, you expect your guests to rave about the food or the location or the music, but I have had so many people call to say "your photographer was SO GREAT!" Brian became a part of the party! He was everywhere all at once, checked in on us a number of times, and was somehow cutting up the dance floor while snapping away. He became one part photographer and one part hype-guy in the best way possible. Brian is amazing. His work is stunning, his communication is spot-on, and he's all around a fun guy to work with. Max & I generally feel awkward as hell in front of a camera, but Brian put that in his pocket and held on to it for us so we could enjoy. I was thrilled with our engagement shoot and am eagerly awaiting our wedding shots - I already know they're going to be spectacular.

BEST EVER! Seriously, Brian Jarreau's name should be changed to Brian Jarreaux (for true New Orleans flare)! He did an amazing job at making my wedding photography experience as seamless as possible. When I tell you he'll climb a tree to get the best shots... He'll climb a tree! He's a very laid back person, which helps on wedding days. He also knows when to be silly, when to crack jokes, when to hustle, when to be calm, and when to be serious - all of which can be necessary on your wedding day. One of the many things that stood out about Brian was that he was a team player. He didn't come to the wedding just to take photos, he was helping out the entire time! He was extremely self directed, arranging items like my wedding dress, jewelry, shoes, etc. for photos, and for my convenience, prior to me even arriving in the suite. He served as a contact person for my wedding planner and guests, even though he didn't need to. He also created an atmosphere of excitement and eagerness during a time that easily can be so stressful. Before the wedding, we went to Mardi Gras World for bridal party photos, and he came up with so many ideas for great photos and was so upbeat it was infectious. At the wedding, he was so cordial and friendly with all of the guests, that by the end of the night, most knew him by name. I really enjoyed working with Brian, and I'm SO thankful that I chose him as our photographer for my wedding. He really contributed to making my best day ever, my best day ever!!!

Brian did an amazing job with our engagement photos, my bridal photos and our chaotic yet perfect wedding day extravaganza. I am very OCD, a type A, uber stressed bride and I'll be the first to admit it. Brian made sure I was happy with everything. I sent him so many details ahead of time and he executed everything. He rolls with the flow and deals with the annoying requests of the bride and the family during the wedding g day chaos. He even told my (last minute) videographer who he has no connection to jump in andget a shot of my veil. Most of all he is so funny, laid back, hysterical and simply gets me and my humor. I honestly felt like we were best friends and even want to be his friend after this! Last but not least he has exceptional pricing. Be confident in your choice with Brian. It's the best wedding vendor decision you'll ever make!

Brian is amazing and deserves a hundred stars, 5 certainly doesn't do him justice. We've heard two things from every single person at our wedding... our band rocked, and our photographer was spectacular. Brian ran his ass off the entire day and night (yes, he worked quite a long day for us), I've never seen a photographer work so hard. I can't stress this enough... he worked his ass off!!! He captured the day beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with our photos. Besides the fact that he is clearly a talented photographer, he's a great guy and incredibly fun to work with. Which is exactly why everyone at our wedding loved him! He didn't miss a beat - from the prep photos while we were getting ready, to the first look, to directing all of our guests for a big group shot after the ceremony, to the second line and party photos - every moment was captured beautifully. I can't say enough about how amazing Brian is as a photographer and how pleasant he is to work with. I found Brian through the knot and after looking at his work on his website and reading the reviews, we decided to go with him. I could not be more pleased!! Brian did the photographs for our wedding and also did my bridals months before the wedding. We actually had to reschedule the bridals the next day due to rain, and he did so without hesitation. My bridals came out PHENOMENAL. As far as the wedding photos, he was again amazing. His eye for capturing the perfect picture is great. We took photos on the levee with the city in the background and they are unbelievable. All of my guests commented on how present he was at the reception, on the dance floor, in the crowd, etc, all while being not being intrusive. I can't wait until I can see the rest of the images. From the initial phone call to our engagement pictures and the wedding day, he was kind, generous, and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. It was almost serendipitous in that he was located in New Orleans and previously worked in Chicago for 10 years, as we lived new New Orleans (engagement shoot!) and were planning to get married in Chicago. He did a great job capturing every little detail of the day and making everyone laugh and act naturally in front of the camera. It was great. The best was when he had to put his camera down to dance to a song!
