Our guests are still raving about how stunning the space was. The warm, inviting ambiance to the thoughtful décor and incredible photo opportunities throughout the property made it memorable.  The staff deserves endless praise, especially the manager Heather. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind from start to finish. Heather answered every question, eased every concern, and ensured that our day flowed seamlessly. Because of her, we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment—she handled timing, setup, transitions, and all the behind-the-scenes details with complete grace and efficiency. The food was fantastic: delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Guests repeatedly told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had! The bar service was excellent as well, with friendly staff and quick service all evening.  What we appreciated most was how personal everything felt. We never once felt like “just another wedding.” Brick Gables genuinely cared about making our day special, and Heather made us feel supported and celebrated the entire way through. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with exceptional service, Brick Gables is truly unbeatable. Our wedding was unforgettable, and we will cherish our experience here forever. Highly, highly recommend.

There was plenty of parking for our guests, beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. o were all of the photo spots. I had a Christmas wedding and the pines there were a perfect for my photos! They were always available to answer any questions I had and ensured me on the big day I wouldn't have to worry. The staff themselves were a pleasure to work with! Brick Gables, my wedding planners, EventFully Yours Consultants, LLC, my florist, Florals by Heather Ann, as well as Stray Production set everything up better than I could have ever imagined, and all of my vendors did an incredible job, I truly did not have to worry day of, which is every brides dream. I had very detailed notes of how I wanted everything set up and they knocked it out of the ball park and then some! They helped make my dream wedding even better!! I can't thank Brick Gables and everyone who had part of my big day enough! I 1000% would recommend them to everyone!

utside in the mud. The option to have the cocktail hour indoors at the café in case of inclement weather gave us peace of mind. There were private nooks to exchange cards and words, and there were lots of good places to capture great photos. Heather and Jackie and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Country Home Catering had amazing food at a great price, and they were very good at accommodating food allergies. Claudine from the Granary was great to plan our drink menu with, and we really enjoyed the special drinks. It was such a wonderful day, and we’re glad we picked Brick Gables.

ve about 1.5h away, so when we were in town they worked with us to schedule walk throughs and tastings etc that worked with our schedule. They were also very helpful to our coordinators (and us) on the day before setting up everything (we DIY-ed basically our whole wedding). They understood and worked with us to extend our reception an hour, which in hindsight we are SO happy we did because it still flew by on the day of! We’re hopeful that one day in a few years we can return for an anniversary party here. Would highly recommend!

ption/ceremony room is rustic and just what we imagined for our wedding day. Heather was wonderful to work with and replied to emails quickly and answered all of our questions. Tim, the previous bartender, created our His and Hers drinks for our wedding day based off of just an interview we had with him. Our guests still talk about his drinks today and how much they enjoyed them. Having cocktail hour on the patio was gorgeous on a nice fall day. Our guests still rave about how unique this venue was! There is a willow tree next to the property where our photographer got amazing pictures. I would highly recommend Brick Gables for your wedding day!

staff is awesome. We loved working with Heather throughout the whole process. She was always quick to respond to our many questions and requests. We initially had started working with Tim as the head bartender/mixologist (who we absolutely adored), but between the time we decided on the venue and when we got married Tim had left and Claudine jumped right into helping us through that process. Her and her staff also did amazing at the reception and everyone raved about how incredible the drinks were. I also have to mention how delicious the food was. I've been to a lot of weddings and I have to say Brick Gables' caterer, Country Home Catering is the best. The food was hot and tasty; we heard nothing but wonderful reviews from our guests. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about our choice in picking Brick Gables to celebrate the most special day in our lives!

o work with (trust me, due to COVID, we had to change our wedding plans three times!) and will answer any question you may have. Inside the Gable Barn is just simply stunning. For a few years, I assisted a local wedding photographer. I’ve been to many Central PA wedding venues, and I cannot recommend Brick Gables enough! We had our ceremony and reception in the Gable Barn (so romantic!) and our cocktail hour on the patio (the outdoor furniture and lighting really sets an ambiance). The flow of this venue is just perfect. Country Home Catering, the exclusive caterer for this venue, is fantastic and not to mention, affordable. They offer tons of choices from appetizers for cocktail hour to main entrees. Most importantly, our wedding food was nice and warm! That (along with the delicious mashed potatoes and rolls) thrilled us. Also, we ordered cupcakes and a 6” cutting cake for our wedding from Zig’s Bakery & Café (downstairs), and they were so delicious and beautiful! We got to taste many flavors before ordering, and our items were displayed perfectly at our wedding. The best part is that we can visit Zig’s for our wedding anniversaries! Thank you, Brick Gables, for making our day so special!

The main room was so beautifully decorated and very comfortable for about 220 guests. We also had a band and the acoustics were amazing! The outdoor cocktail hour was a hit and the food was incredible. We got so many compliments on every aspect. Can't recommend this space and this team more!

We follow each other on Instagram now!! :) Tim at the bar is SO creative and helpful in guiding you through the process. He's also hilarious to talk to and makes you feel like a friend. If the staff wasn't convincing enough, the venue is beyond beautiful and left all of our guests speechless. People are still telling us how beautiful of a wedding it was. The food was delicious and everything ran so smooth. Bathrooms are clean, it's handicap accessible, plenty of space. I could go on and on. We had complete trust in everyone at Brick Gables so we were truly able to just enjoy our wedding. It was the best day ever thanks to Brick Gables! We want to do it all over again! I highly recommend Brick Gables, you won't be dissapointed!

about this venue is that they coordinate so much all ready for you! The catering all goes through them. It made my life so much easier. All I had to do was say what I wanted and send numbers in. If you are looking for a peaceful venue that already has a lot of what you need and will help you along the way. This is your place!

edding back in May. We worked with Heather, who was very organized and helped our day run smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful with twinkle lights and the high ceilings. It was perfect since our guests didn't have to travel from the ceremony site to the reception since it was all in one place. It was one of the few rustic, climate-controlled venues in the area that could accommodate our 200+ guests. We had the ceremony upstairs, went downstairs for the cocktail hour, and came back up to see the room transformed for the reception. We ordered our desserts from ZIG's (the bakery downstairs), which was very convenient. And, since they do in-house catering, we didn't have to worry about getting an outside vendor. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was magical.

They were very accommodating with our special requests and decorating ideas. The price fit our budget perfectly . I can't even begin to describe how beautiful the barn was for the wedding and reception. Our wedding was in June and it was a gorgeous day so we got amazing pictures outside at the stone wall & down by the willow tree. We got married months ago and our family and friends are still telling us what a beautiful venue we had and what an amazing day it was at Brick Gables. The food is delicious, everything we chose tasted wonderful and our guests complimented it over and over. This place made us wish we could do our wedding day over every single year there!

from a horrible situation. Our wedding was originally going to be in Wyomissing Pa where I am from, ( Weve lived in California for the past 5 years and were doing all of this planning from afar, which was not easy ) we had our date and venue selected just a month after our engagement in April , then 2 days before Christmas we recieve an email from our previous reception location, Reading Country Club, stating that they were closing and we would have to find another location for our wedding, we had that venue selected for over 6 months and now our wedding was only 10 months away and we needed to start all over! We were stunned to say the least but started to look at other locations in the surrounding area. We had to change our wedding date, call all of our vendors and beg them to be flexible while we tried to relocate our entire reception somewhere else. We happened upon Brick Gables in Lititz which was a little farther than we had planned to look but at this point we were struggling to find another in our hometown/ surrounding area and within the same month (October) . It was the best decision we ever made, and I am glad our first location didn’t work out. Heather and Tim are a fantastic team and I would encourage anyone who is getting married in the Reading/ Wyomissing area to consider Brick Gables. Heather was literally a DREAM to work with, we met with her multiple times to review pricing, setup and just to look at the space to envision what our new reception was going to look like. She was helping us every step of the way and so sympathetic in our situation and current state. She guided us with food selections and the event that had at the barn for the tasting was amazing. Tim handles all the beverage service at the Brick Gables and I cant imagine a more passionate, dedicated,and perfect person for that job than him! He was so sweet and accommodating, and lives and breathes everything beverage. His thought process is so methodical and to the T, he and his staff did an INCREDIBLE JOB handling our guests. I myself work in the wedding industry in CA and ill admit I was very particular as to how things were going to look and be presented, yes I was a particular bride and they exceeded my expectations completely. The featured Cocktail was a HUGE HIT, I have been to a few weddings where featured cocktails were offered and they were forgettable and just something cute to put on a sign, not at the Brick Gables though! Everyone was RAVING about the cocktail and asked for the recipe the following day. He was such a joy to work with and you can tell both Heather and Tim love their jobs and love what they do. The food was amazing , yes we actually ate our entrees because after one bite I looked at my husband and said we are not leaving this table until we finish this meal. The filet mignon was outstanding and the cocktail hour featured beautifully passed appetizers and stationed items, ALL OF THEM just amazing. You will be doing yourself the biggest favor if you select Brick Gables as your venue, the service is top of the line, food and beverage on point, and the hospitality and care you recieve will leave you feeling special and that you do truly matter. This is your wedding day, make sure you select a venue that will put this much love and care into it.

hed out to the venue almost a year ago, they have been nothing but friendly, warm, professional, capable, and FUN! PLACES: We were charmed from the second we walked into Brick Gables - it's a restored barn but isn't "country" so much as "industrial." Part of what we loved about the space was that it was a blank enough canvas that we could add things and personalize it to our tastes, but it was a STUNNING blank canvas (red brick, wooden walls, high ceilings, chandeliers, Christmas lights, etc.), so we didn't feel the need to decorate every inch of it. The outdoor patio would have been our cocktail hour space, but there was some rain, so the cocktail hour was moved inside to where Zig's Bakery is. The patio was beautiful anyway, and we used it for pictures! The bakery worked well for cocktail hour, as far as we have heard. The bridal suite is a corner of the bakery sectioned off for this purpose, and it was very handy and a nice place to get dressed, but we did have to move all of our belongings elsewhere so that they could open that corner up for cocktail hour. This was no big deal and actually helped, as we were able to get some stuff packed back into cars that we didn't need! The groom's suite is small but useful, but the guys weren't interested in sitting in a room all day, anyways! The barn is stunning, as I have mentioned, and we had a rocking dance floor and a great time! All of our guests were from out of town and they had no issues finding the venue, and there was plenty of parking. PEOPLE: We became friends with the staff at Brick Gables INSTANTLY! Erin and Heather are amazing to work with; they care to know you as a couple and want to help you pull off a dream day. They both respond promptly and answer questions as they can, so nicely even when you have asked tons of questions (sorry, guys!). The owners of the venue are so kind and we enjoyed meeting them as well - my husband and I loved that it is a family-owned business and you can feel the warmth that is there in the environment! Erin was our coordinator for the day of the wedding and she was a rockstar helping things move along, coming to our aid if we had a request or issue, and just helped to be a calm and encouraging presence the day of. Also - Tim Stanlake was our bartender (with Granary at Brick Gables) and he was OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing!! He sat with us, got to know us and our drink preferences, and created three incredible, original, Phantom of the Opera themed cocktails! He was also so helpful in making decisions. People were raving about the cocktails, and we got so many compliments about the venue in general. FOOD: The food was amazing! The venue's owners also own a catering company that you must use, so we didn't have to go find a caterer somewhere (to us, this was a huge relief). Our meal options/choices weren't anything crazy or super exotic but they were DANG good! Which is exactly what we wanted; we couldn't have been more pleased! Overall, Brick Gables is the place to go if you want kind and reliable support and service, a beautiful venue that doesn't have to be decked out (but can), and a dreamy day where you just get to focus on marrying your love. I know reviews were so helpful to me as I looked at venues, so that's why this is so long! I hope you find it helpful :)

Being very detail-oriented, I stopped by many times between the booking and the wedding. Heather was patient with all of my concerns and made suggestions on where to place things, etc., and was very open to our ideas for decorating. The bartender worked perfectly with my son-in-law's family to prepare the drink menu and plan a safe evening for our guests. The on-site catering and bakery worked out great for the evening. Having everything on-site made everything run smoothly. We received nothing but compliments regarding the set-up, the delicious homemade food and cupcakes, and the venue. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any event!

. From the beginning to the end, all of the staff was very accommodating to make our visions and hopes become reality on our special day. They were patient and helpful to Make sure everything was just how it needed to be for our big day. From the patio and cafe area to offer outdoor options and cover/cool from the August heat, to the stairway, landing, main room and NEW BAR area- the setting perfectly fit and fulfilled our modern barn theme. They offered great services, and for those items they personally didn’t provide, they had great relationships with local vendors who were excited to work with us and Brick Gables, which made planning even easier. Highly recommend Brick Gables to anyone looking for a beautiful setting to add a little or a lot to make it your own. We cannot say enough about how beautiful our day turned out and how great the staff was to work with. Thank you!!!!

In addition to a beautiful space and great communication, the food was delicious as well! Brick Gables has a new bar, The Granary, that was completed prior to our wedding, adding a special touch. The bar staff was available through Zig's Bakery on the 1st floor, making the process easy to ensure that our guests were well served throughout the cocktail hour and reception. Lastly, we love that we are able to return to Zig's Bakery and Cafe/Brick Gables on the first floor whenever we want to relive the memories of our wedding day!

ons I had, put my mind at ease & really made sure my dream wedding became a reality. We had a June wedding & my husband and I sweat super easily so we opted to have an indoor ceremony. They were able to transform the room from the ceremony room to the reception room in under an hour. It was amazing. They were there helping us to set up the day before the wedding. The food was AMAZING & our guest raved about how hot their food was despite it being a buffet. Guest were also allowed to go back for seconds & thirds to eat the remaining food. They have both indoor and outdoor areas for ceremony and cocktail hour. They have separate areas for both the girls & guys to get ready at the day of. It was a perfect day & I cannot say enough great things about Brick Gables & their staff. Highly, highly recommend!

eception were both in the Gable Barn, so we used a large curtain divider from Stray Production Services to hide the reception tables in the back of the room. During cocktail hour all of the guests went outside to the courtyard for hors d'oeuvres while the staff worked hard to transform the upstairs into our reception space, and they had it complete before the hour was up so the guests were able to return upstairs to a completely transformed room! The girls were able to get ready in a portion of the cafe downstairs and the guys had a separate room upstairs to get ready in. There's also a beautiful willow tree on the property where we were able to do our first look, and we were able to cross the street (where there's a corn field, beautiful trees and rock piles) and head up the hill for more portraits. One huge selling point for us was that Zig's Bakery & Cafe is on the lower level, so we can go back and visit whenever we want & each year on our anniversary! The entire building was also just recently renovated, so it has a lot of rich history. I loved that we were able to pull off the barn look without having it seem too rustic or dirty. Not only was the building the perfect place for our wedding, but the staff was such a pleasure to work with! Heather & Krista were always very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had, and we ran into the owners quite a few times who were so sweet! As I did research on other local venues I was very discouraged to see how high all of the prices were, so Brick Gables was a huge blessing on the financial side as well. They're very reasonable, they don't try to swindle you out of your money and their preferred caterer, Country Home Catering, was extremely reasonable and extremely delicious! We honestly don't have any complaints - we would absolutely recommend Brick Gables for your wedding or event!
