onscience, recommend Bridal & Veil due to their in-house alterations. I purchased my dress here for $2,500 and was required to pay $840 upfront for alterations. The process dragged on for months. I had fittings in December and March and was told my dress would be ready April 19. It wasn’t. I came back May 18th and again, not ready. I was told it just needed minor touch-ups, so I scheduled pickup for June 1. But when I arrived, I was shocked to see all the buttons down the train had been removed without my knowledge or consent. I noticed because it had the loose threads still hanging where the buttons were popped off. These buttons were present at every previous fitting. I was told not to worry, “they’re just buttons.” I was told to return on June 4th. When I returned, the buttons were sewn back on incorrectly. Unevenly spaced and stitched through all layers, causing puckering. My waistline was also missing key beading and pearls. Eventually, they admitted they lost 10–15 buttons and removed the rest hoping I wouldn’t notice because they couldn't get more in time. However, they pulled off all the buttons from the in store sample dress to return my dress to it's OG design and I had to make another trip on Friday June 6th to pick up my dress. I had to make five 1-hour trips each way for this mess. The final result? Still not great. I had buttons at the bottom of the bag that just popped off. My grandma and I had to fix their work. During my actual wedding, guests kept handing me buttons that had fallen off my dress. I asked to speak to the owner about compensation. I was told that wasn’t their policy. Daniel, the head of alterations, said he’d submit a request and to follow up Monday. I received a call that Monday, and I was told "fair" was 20% back which equated to $150 which doesn't even cover my gas. I was also told I couldn’t receive it right away because it needed to be authorized in order for it to be processed. Follow-up calls were promised but ignored until my rehearsal dinner and I am still waiting on final communication and a refund. This experience caused so much unnecessary stress before my wedding. It wasn’t just about buttons. It was about trust, transparency, and taking accountability. Brides, please be cautious before trusting Bridal & Veil with your wedding dress.

n a dress that I ended up really liking, only to then tell me that it was completely discontinued—meaning the only option was their showroom dress (which was stained and visibly worn). To make matters worse, she pressured me by saying that if I didn’t buy it on the spot, the price would go up to $1,700 if I left and came back. This was a clear attempt to play on my emotions and force an impulsive purchase. Despite knowing I had other appointments, she kept aggressively pushing me to “say yes to the dress,” turning what should have been a fun experience into a stressful, high-pressure sales tactic. This place is slimy and predatory, and I would never recommend it to any bride. There are plenty of other bridal shops that will treat you with respect—go elsewhere.

er was covered in stains and snags and I was denied a refund: only a replacement. I didn't have time for a replacement, but they still wouldn't offer me a refund. I only received a refund after spending hours reaching out to the dress manufacturer (Maggie Sottero) directly and having them contact the bridal shop. The owner of the bridal shop yelled at me saying I caused problems for them by calling the manufacturer, and when she processed my refund, their debit card reader was broken, so she had to refund it to my credit card. She let me know she would be charged a $90 fee because of this, and then ends up taking that fee out of my refund without letting me know. She also told me as she was processing my refund that she was trying to be petty. Incredibly unprofessional. I can't write much here, but you can read a full review on Google or Yelp. Overall, while I did receive a refund for my dress, it was only after I spent hours reaching out to the manufacturer and sending countless texts to the bridal shop. I wish I read reviews before going here, and more specifically, I wish I had read the owner's responses to negative reviews: Farhina is very defensive in her responses to customers who leave poor reviews. I believe that the way a business responds to criticism is a reflection of their values and business ethics. Bridal and Veil does not take responsibility in their responses and instead blames the customers. If you're thinking about buying a dress from here, I caution you not to. There are plenty of other bridal boutiques that actually care about their customers and run their shops with integrity, so I strongly suggest you go to one of them.

ress. A few odd things that turned us off- when we went to try on dresses and found “the one”, they charged us hundreds more than the price on the tag and couldn’t quite explain why. We also asked for a quote on all the alterations we wanted, and then during our first fitting we decided we wouldn’t request some of those alterations, but they still charged us more than the quote. They said they would tell us when the dress arrived. I called a few times during the week and no one answered the phone. They then said it would be delayed but they’d call me when it arrived. Weeks passed, I checked back, and they said oh it already arrived. This was pushing us close to not having the dress in time. For one appointment they had only done 5 min of work (after we waited 20+ min for our appointment), and for another they said they didn’t know what one of their own notes meant and therefore they just didn’t do the alteration. In the end I got many compliments on the dress but it was a huge stress addition which caused many tears before the wedding.

ths. Finally 8 months later reciebed my dress which was massive and will require massive alterations and I have not gained or lost any weight. This is an absolute scam. Do not shop here

for bridesmaids dresses and myself I had a dress online I loved but wanted to try on styles to feel what I felt looked better. Im on a budget. I made mention I may try for a September wedding that’s when the high pressure sales tactics came on. It was I shouldn’t look elsewhere they have the biggest selection they had over 2000 dresses to try( none like the style I want I found out ) also pressuring that I won’t get a dress in time. They were all coming over telling me I found my dress. I wanted my mom there so they had my kids FaceTime her to put pressure for her to like it and asked me to say yes in front of her. Pressure for the say yes to the dress, asking me for different dresses “let me ask you again is this the dress” like I was on that show. The dress I was wearing I didn’t feel comfortable in but they brought the whole store to sell me on how this dress looked so good on me and it was a floor sample that fit and get on time etc. pressure after pressure. Next came the bridesmaids dresses, again extra pressure because these needed to be ordered. My middle daughter is plus size and they kept trying to give her tiny dresses that she couldn’t even tell if she liked.. finally I went and found her a plus size sample so she could experience wearing a dress like her sister’s that didn’t make her feel uncomfortable.. I never felt yea I’m completely happy with the experience, other than seeing the smile on my middles face when she could be a part of it with the dress I showed her. I immediately felt buyers remorse, I wish I wouldn’t been that person and just left and got nothing, looked back at pictures of me in the dress and felt like I had been sold ocean front property in AZ. I spoke with the manager after and explained my experience he said he doesn’t believe that they’re pressuring. Talks over me and mansplains to me how they have zero room for improvement in so many words. Way to validate a customer’s feelings. I have asked to exchange my dress which they said look online and pick dresses you want to try on so I can find one close to what I want and they said out of the 26 dresses similar to my dream dress only 1 is available at the store to try. This is why I had mentioned the moment I was there I wanted to look at different stores because they may have 2000 dresses they’re all pretty similar and none like the style I want. I’ve spent a lot of money to be completely unsatisfied. I tried to make the best of the day for my girls who are so excited I’m getting married and thankfully I shielded them from the experience. Follow up.. below here's a text message thread were we were discussing 26 styles that I am interested in.. none of which they have in store to try on. This is what happens when you over promise and under deliver. I purchased the floor dress as in sample everyone has tried on, they gave me $100 discount for that dress?!! Now they "can't make me happy" but want to keep $400 ? I purchased my dress on 4 days ago and notified them next day my frustration with the experience. Update: they reiterated the cancellation policy, and my response. Customer service is not a high priority here Update: spoke with Sal the manager today not only did he say every negative review they have on every site are liars he also said he’s the only one in the right with all of this with every customer He also called me crazy for the review, he also cyber stalked me and asked me why I had one business then opened another in another name, ps sold one biz opened another. But his assumption was I was “hiding” from something, he kept saying oh what are you hiding from.. who speaks to a customer that spent over $4000 in a business like that?!? I’ve never had a manager in a business use my personal information to background check me? This has been the most stressful experience. My mom heard the whole conversation and she said she’s never dealt with a more inappropriate and disrespectful customer service manager.

r much about the fitting process or whatnot, but trying to receive the dress has been a nightmare. A month before the wedding, they texted that the dress would be arriving that week. It didn't. Next week, they stonewalled us when asking about when it would be here. Now this week, under two weeks before the wedding, they sent a text on Monday saying it was finally shipped. How they can message us saying the dress would arrive before it even shipped, I don't know. It did arrive today, the Wednesday, at least, but since we cannot trust them to alter the dress in time, we've had to use another seamstress and pay more. Plus, because there's so little time, detail work around the hem will have to be removed or hidden instead of shortening the dress and reattaching or similar. Moreover, when initially trying on dresses, none of the shop attendants thought to check how the dress looks and acts when bustled. So now that we've received it and tried bustling, the dress ends up looking like "one of Cinderella's step-sisters' dresses" (bride's words), and is just too large to properly dance in. So now we have to go shopping for an off-the-rack reception dress. Summary: - Bad communication - Late to receive - Shop didn't help bride check an essential element when initially viewing

onsultants- as well as the owners- are very quick to make sure that you are taken care of. They don't pressure you to buy which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. It doesn't matter what style you are looking for, they literally have everything, and they know how to help you narrow down what style is best for your body shape. I highly recommend Bridal & Veil!
