Last Monday I took my daughters and myself to look at dresses for my wedding. This was my first stop, I really was just browsing wanted my girls to get an idea of what they wanted for bridesmaids dresses and myself I had a dress online I loved but wanted to try on styles to feel what I felt looked better. Im on a budget. I made mention I may try for a September wedding that’s when the high pressure sales tactics came on. It was I shouldn’t look elsewhere they have the biggest selection they had over 2000 dresses to try( none like the style I want I found out ) also pressuring that I won’t get a dress in time. They were all coming over telling me I found my dress. I wanted my mom there so they had my kids FaceTime her to put pressure for her to like it and asked me to say yes in front of her. Pressure for the say yes to the dress, asking me for different dresses “let me ask you again is this the dress” like I was on that show. The dress I was wearing I didn’t feel comfortable in but they brought the whole store to sell me on how this dress looked so good on me and it was a floor sample that fit and get on time etc. pressure after pressure. Next came the bridesmaids dresses, again extra pressure because these needed to be ordered. My middle daughter is plus size and they kept trying to give her tiny dresses that she couldn’t even tell if she liked.. finally I went and found her a plus size sample so she could experience wearing a dress like her sister’s that didn’t make her feel uncomfortable.. I never felt yea I’m completely happy with the experience, other than seeing the smile on my middles face when she could be a part of it with the dress I showed her. I immediately felt buyers remorse, I wish I wouldn’t been that person and just left and got nothing, looked back at pictures of me in the dress and felt like I had been sold ocean front property in AZ. I spoke with the manager after and explained my experience he said he doesn’t believe that they’re pressuring. Talks over me and mansplains to me how they have zero room for improvement in so many words. Way to validate a customer’s feelings. I have asked to exchange my dress which they said look online and pick dresses you want to try on so I can find one close to what I want and they said out of the 26 dresses similar to my dream dress only 1 is available at the store to try. This is why I had mentioned the moment I was there I wanted to look at different stores because they may have 2000 dresses they’re all pretty similar and none like the style I want. I’ve spent a lot of money to be completely unsatisfied. I tried to make the best of the day for my girls who are so excited I’m getting married and thankfully I shielded them from the experience. Follow up.. below here's a text message thread were we were discussing 26 styles that I am interested in.. none of which they have in store to try on. This is what happens when you over promise and under deliver. I purchased the floor dress as in sample everyone has tried on, they gave me $100 discount for that dress?!! Now they "can't make me happy" but want to keep $400 ? I purchased my dress on 4 days ago and notified them next day my frustration with the experience. Update: they reiterated the cancellation policy, and my response. Customer service is not a high priority here Update: spoke with Sal the manager today not only did he say every negative review they have on every site are liars he also said he’s the only one in the right with all of this with every customer He also called me crazy for the review, he also cyber stalked me and asked me why I had one business then opened another in another name, ps sold one biz opened another. But his assumption was I was “hiding” from something, he kept saying oh what are you hiding from.. who speaks to a customer that spent over $4000 in a business like that?!? I’ve never had a manager in a business use my personal information to background check me? This has been the most stressful experience. My mom heard the whole conversation and she said she’s never dealt with a more inappropriate and disrespectful customer service manager.

TL;DR the dress arrived under 10 days before the wedding, it's caused immense stress for both the bride and I, and she isn't even happy the dress is here anymore. I can't speak for much about the fitting process or whatnot, but trying to receive the dress has been a nightmare. A month before the wedding, they texted that the dress would be arriving that week. It didn't. Next week, they stonewalled us when asking about when it would be here. Now this week, under two weeks before the wedding, they sent a text on Monday saying it was finally shipped. How they can message us saying the dress would arrive before it even shipped, I don't know. It did arrive today, the Wednesday, at least, but since we cannot trust them to alter the dress in time, we've had to use another seamstress and pay more. Plus, because there's so little time, detail work around the hem will have to be removed or hidden instead of shortening the dress and reattaching or similar. Moreover, when initially trying on dresses, none of the shop attendants thought to check how the dress looks and acts when bustled. So now that we've received it and tried bustling, the dress ends up looking like "one of Cinderella's step-sisters' dresses" (bride's words), and is just too large to properly dance in. So now we have to go shopping for an off-the-rack reception dress. Summary: - Bad communication - Late to receive - Shop didn't help bride check an essential element when initially viewing

Drove all the way here from Los Angeles as I was told by my sister that this place was amazing. The place is beautiful and they had so many dresses to choose from. Everyone made me feel so welcome when I came in. They know a lot when it comes to helping you find exactly what you want. I'm glad I got my dress here, and I'd highly recommend the place!

I recently came to Bridal and Veil, as I was referred here from a close friend of mine. I came at the set time we setup for an appointment, and they were able to show me dresses right away. I ended up finding the perfect dress for my wedding, it did take a few hours though but they were all very patient with me. They had great prices, and the dresses were very beautiful. I'd highly recommend coming to this place if you're getting married anytime soon!!

I had a wonderful experience with everyone here. They understood exactly what I wanted and my consultant helped me through the entire process. They had such a great variety of dresses to choose from. After what seemed like hours there, I was able to finally pickout what I wanted. I ended up getting my dress here, and I'm just in love with it.

My consultant was a blast to work with. She was very sweet, and they were able to see me right when I walked in the door. She was able to help transform my dream of an ideal dress into reality. I ended up getting the dress I wanted, after a few hours. The whole experience was positive here. I'd highly recommend this place

Could not recommend this place more!!! I went in with my partner and they had so many beautiful dresses to choose from. The owner, Sal, was also a big help. He was very kind, and did everything he could to help make the visit just perfect.

The service I got here goes unmatched. High quality dresses, friendly people and great prices. Lauren was a big help when I came in. There were some small alterations that needed to be done, but took only a week to complete. My dress looked absolutely beautiful! Thank you guys again for making my day special.

Beautiful and well put together Bridal Salon! I only wish I found this place the first time. I went to a few other places before coming in here, and the quality and quantity of dresses they have far exceeds the previous places I visited. The ladies that helped me went that extra mile, and were a big help. I can't thank them enough!

Went to Bridal and Veil several weeks ago, tried on several of their wedding dresses. The consultant that helped was amazing. They had so many dresses to choose from, and everyone was really nice. I got married late last month, and I went to two other places before coming here. I only wish I came here first. Bridal and Veil has a beautiful store, with such a big selection of dresses. I got my dress altered, which didn't take long at all. They really rolled the white glove service out for me, which I appreciate. I've already referred them to a close friend of mine. I can't thank them enough.

They were able to help me narrow down the search for the perfect dress. I had an appointment at exactly 12, I came in and they were able to show me dresses that fit my style and within my budget. The whole experience was fantastic, and not stressful at all. I'd highly recommend this place. They just had things down better than the previous place I went to before coming here.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!!!!! I love so much more than just the store tho! My entire experience from start to finish far surpassed what I had always hoped for in the search of the most important dress I would ever wear! When I first called for info, they allowed me to come right on in, and were so accommodating and welcoming! The relationship with the staff is what made me know this is where I wanted and knew I would find my dress! NEVER ONCE did I feel pressured to buy anything, or even feel like I was an inconvenience/annoyance for asking to try on one... more... dress... I can't say enough about how wonderful this entire experience was, and this store will always stand out in my bridal memories of being one of my favorite experiences! THANK YOU so much to ALL of you (especially Sal, Shaundra and Larissa in alterations-who was SO patient and a master at her craft) for making this so fun and enjoyable, and playing a part in the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life!

If you are looking for a place that has an amazing selection of dresses as well as great customer service, this is *THE* place. There are so many dresses to choose from, and the consultants- as well as the owners- are very quick to make sure that you are taken care of. They don't pressure you to buy which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. It doesn't matter what style you are looking for, they literally have everything, and they know how to help you narrow down what style is best for your body shape. I highly recommend Bridal & Veil!

My experience with Bridal and Veil was beyond amazing. I really enjoyed coming here, and the entire team was great. They were all very professional, kind, knew exactly what I wanted. I came in here with my mother, sister and they were great to us all. Best of the best without a doubt.

I can't recommend this place enough! A very hidden gem, and I only wish I came here first. I visited a handful of bridal salons before coming here, and when I showed up Farhina was a big help. She was able to show me the big selection of dresses they had. After what seemed like two hours, we were able to narrow things down and I said yes to the dress! Couldn't have asked for a better place to visit for that perfect wedding dress. I had an appointment Saturday at 12PM. I was out within 2 hours. When I showed up, they were quick to show me their huge selection of dresses. The lady that helped, ran down all my options. They have such a beautiful selection! In the end, they were able to help me find exactly what it was I was looking for. I'm very glad I found what I wanted here. I'd recommend them to anyone who might need that perfect dress

The experience here was beyond great! They have a big selection of dresses. I stopped at many bridal stores before I came here. I only wish I came here first. Everyone was very polite, patient, helped me find the right dress. I can't thank them enough for all they did.

The service here was great. I had a scheduled appointment and when I came in, I didn't have to wait long until they were able to help. One of the big influences in coming here, was my sister had gotten married years back, and I just loved her dress. In the end, they were able to help me find what I wanted. They had a good selection of dresses and veils, and the consultant that helped seemed to know quite a lot. She has a positive, uplifting vibe and I never felt like I was being pressured into making a decision. I can't thank them enough.

I just loved coming here. The store was amazing. The entire experience from start to finish was 5-stars. They got me in on very short notice, there was an appointment. They had a massive selection of dresses, there was not a lot of people there. I feel that the people that helped me went above and beyond for me. I really can't say enough positive things about these people or this store. If you need a dress, this is the place to visit.

I found them all to be very helpful. I recently came here because of an out of state wedding that was to take place. When I came into the shop, they were all very helpful. I setup an appointment, and when I came in I didn't have to wait long at all. Sal and everyone here, were all very helpful. They were very careful and took extra precaution when it came to covid. Caryn also helped me with a few other things, and I found her to have done a great job. They covered everything and were able to remove a lot of stress for me. I love my dress and I'd recommend them to anyone

I loved coming here. Everyone was super friendly. They were there when I needed them. My wedding dress was $1,500, which fit just great! There was no need to have any alterations. The dress looks beautiful and I owe everything to them.

I got my engagement, and my wedding dress through Bridal and Veil. My mother came with me, and they were very helpful to us both. They have so many beautiful dresses there. One dress required alterations, but this was no problem. Thank you for all the amazing help here. Fahrina was a huge help!

My experience here from start to finish was positive. Everyone was very helpful. The seamstress worked wonders just in time for my wedding. There were no problems in getting the dress, or the alterations. One of the better shops I went to in the area for sure.

Had a wonderful experience here... I ordered my dress, it came exactly when they said it would, and they worked with me from the other side of the country to fit in alterations etc on my limited schedule when I was in town visiting before the wedding. Their selection is the best in San Diego and they 100% know what they are doing. They even offered to work with me 3 days before my wedding to get a new veil when I changed my mind on the original I ordered. Shout out to Carmen as well who was great! Have already recommended them to everyone I know!

I have been having problems finding the perfect dress for my son's wedding. I have looked at several dresses on the internet and several stores with no luck. I went into Bridal & Veil and Tyler greeted me at the door upon entering. She was FANTASTIC! She gave her honest opinion on what color I should wear with my blonde hair. She gave me ideas on what type of dress to pick (A-Line) and I tried on several dresses while she stood outside of the dressing room door. She was so professional with a great personality and knew exactly what I wanted. I could not have been any happier than today. I finally found the perfect dress with the help from Tyler. I meant the owner as well and he could not have been any nicer than he was. He was a great and very personal owner of the shop, I could not have been any more pleased with Bridal & Veil. I highly recommend this shop for ALL you bridal needs. Beautiful Mother of the Groom/Bride dresses along with beautiful bridal gowns. Like I said, I highly recommend this shop. All employees and other shoppers were wearing masks, very clean and I never felt uneasy with covid. If you get a chance to shop here, do it! Thank you Tyler for the lovely afternoon of shopping, I cannot wait to get my dress. You and the owner is the BEST!!!

Bridal and Veil is amazing! I was only in town for a week to shop for a dress with my mom and my best friend. B&V was my second stop and my last! I found the perfect dress and they were able to do the alterations for me within 3 days so it would be ready before I headed back home. I couldn't be more happy with their customer service!! I highly recommend them to all the future brides out there looking for their perfect dress!

I had an amazing experience here. from the salon having the dress I had my eye on that I found online to allowing all my pop up visits to see or re try on my grown. they also price matched another salon which was much farther and less convenient for me to visit and purchase from. the alterations team was awesome helping me get the right fight and provide honest opinions. Although alterations can be pricy, this salon owner helped give me a deal to keep the alterations in house with guarantee. my dress and completed look was absolutely amazing at a great price.

I had an amazing experience with Bridal and Veil! It was the first shop I visited and turned out to be the only place I visited because they had the dress for me! It was honestly a really tough choice because there were so many gorgeous options. Tam is the person who helped me, and he could not have been more amazing. He was extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable, and observant. Tam quickly picked up what styles I liked by listening, and he was able to pinpoint what I was searching for, which I appreciated so much. Overall my experience with the store was phenomenal. We’ll see how delivery timelines go during the pandemic, but the person I talked to today, Farhina, was also very kind and ready to help how she could.

This store has a huge selection of wedding dresses at great prices. I went on a wednesday evening, when the weather was pretty crappy in winter and there was no one in the store so I was able to get a lot of help. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner Sal hit it out of the park with what he felt I might like. There was no pressure to buy at that time but they let me know when I had to order by in order to have my dress in time for my wedding. When I did order the dress, the assistant who helped me was spot on with her measurements and when the dress arrived it fit like a glove and didn't need any alterations. The location is easy to get to but the parking lot is terrible!

Best. Experience. Ever. My mom and I went in with a certain budget and Tam did not disappoint with the selections! He was 100% the best consultant! When we had questions, he not only answered the questions, he would SHOW me his answer! I ended up getting the very last dress I tried on and I cannot wait to wear it in January!! I said Yes to the dress!!! I absolutely LOVED Bridal & Veil. I even had the opportunity to speak to the owner and expressed how much I loved their services and he got a teary eye! I was helped by Alexis. SHE IS THE BEST! She knew exactly what dresses to pull. I showed her one photo and she took one look at me and she nailed it! I am "plus size" with curves and all the dresses she put on me flattered my body so so so much! She made the whole experience the best! She was nice, kind, and super helpful. SHE absolutely made me feel like a bride! I can go on and on about this place but even if you don't find the dress here trust me the experience of having an appointment there compares to nothing. Even other employees who would walk by would just stand and watch and comment how beautiful I looked.

I was recommended Bridal and Veil by my friend who’s cousin actually purchased her dress from there. I needed to find a bridal salon that could accommodate 10 women for my first round of trying on dressed. I scheduled an appointment easily and they had a private area set up where my family was able to sit. When I arrived and met with the bridal consultant, who I believe was either Silvia or Cynthia, she asked me what kind of dresses I like. She picked about 7 dresses based on my explanation and ones that would fit my body type. I guess I should have started off with…I am a full-figured women with several body conscious issues. When the bridal consultant came into the fitting room with several dress options she showed and explained some of the dresses she had pulled. I saw the dress I wanted to try on first and I was shocked because I new right away that it was the one. When she found me a matching veil and put some shoes on my she prepared all of my family for the first dress. As I walked out we all started to cry. Of course I felt the need to try on some other options but they only enforced the known fact that the first dress I tried on was the one and only dress for me. The bridal consultant was sweet, and she really listened to what I wanted. She was a pleasure to work with and so were the rest of the employees. I had no issues with the alterations and I was pleased with the services they provided. If I ever had to get married again, which I don’t ever plan on doing again, I would go back to Bridal and Veil.

Bridal & veil has a great selection of dresses and fabulous consultants who really listen to you! Although I didn’t find my dress here, the experience was wonderful and helped me narrow down my search to find what I really wanted.

I said Yes To The Dress at Bridal & Veil! I chose The Rebecca Ingram Faye wedding dress. Every dress Cynthia picked out for me fit perfectly, but it took a few tries to find the right style and theme I was going for. They have a large and absolutely gorgeous selection of dresses. I’m getting married in 3 years and they’re going hold my dress for me until the day. We went a little bit above my budget but Cynthia was always honest with prices, went above and beyond to find dresses closest to my range and they were all beautiful. My dress is so gorgeous and perfect going a little over my budget is more than worth it! Thank you Cynthia and I’m excited to be part of the Bridal & Veil family!

I was very happy with their service and selection! I have tried on at other places and had an idea of what I wanted. They were amazing and I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. it was perfect and below my budget! I would highly recommend this salon for your dress.

You know how you hunt around for wedding dresses online, and can't find anything in person you like? Well, Bridal and Veil came to the rescue for me. I couldn't find anything in budget that was "me." My sales associate was a bit rash, but man, did she know her dresses. She found a dress that was SO perfectly me, which I would have never seen or found without her. They were great through the alterations process. The only side which was a bit frustrating was I wish they would be a bit more proactive about letting you know when your dress would arrive. I had to call them a few times to check in on my dress/see if it was there.

I had a great experience at Bridal & Veil. I went there for my first wedding dress shopping trip and was paired with Jeanette. She was helpful and suggested a dress that I liked. I tried some other bridal salons before returning to Bridal & Veil, when I was paired with Reva. I found the dress after I saw it on someone else at the salon. Great consultants! They only recommendation would be to have the front staff be more welcoming. There was some pressure as I was leaving from the seamstress to add on costs as well. Overall great though!

I went to several bridal boutiques around San Diego, all of which were nice enough but didnt have what I was looking for. My mom and I were on our way back from one such place and drove past the Bridal & Veil outlet in Alvarado Canyon and we decided to stop on a whim. Both women working at the time, whose names escape me, were very nice and tried to find the style of dress I was wanted. One of the women also worked at the Bridal & Veil on Camino Del Rio and knew the inventory, she actually pulled up several dresses online, one in particular caught my eye. She called over to the store and asked them to pull it for me and was able to set me up with a consultant, Reva, right away even though I didnt have an appointment. Reva was amazing, she is so friendly and knows what she is doing. She listened to everything I wanted, asked the right questions and pulled some really beautiful dresses and my mom got a showing room all to herself! I ended up with a completely different dress than what I was looking for. Right when I walked into the boutique there was a dress hanging up away from all the other dresses, it was just sitting there, like it was waiting for me. Its perfect and beautiful and Reva knew the moment that I put it on from the look on my face that this was it. I tried on a couple more dresses just in case but nothing could compare. My experience there was fantastic and the staff was great, especially Reva!

I was really dreading the part where I had to "the dress" for fear I just wouldn't feel the way it's hyped to be for your wedding dress. 5 dresses in, and I was brought to tears with my dress. They listened to what I was looking for and were spot on! I had minor alterations and the price was unmatched. THANK YOU so much for your help to make my wedding day so special. I was a fairytale and I felt like a queen in my lace dress!

I came in thinking I knew what I wanted - I couldn't have been more wrong! LOL! I was paired with Reva as my consultant and right away she took the reins and made me feel like I was in good hands. I explained what kind of wedding I am having and what I like/don't like in a dress and Reva went to work! She pulled several dresses and amazingly, the very first dress she pulled is the one I bought! I tried on several to be sure and one thing I really liked was that Reva was honest and told me what she thought about each dress. I was also really impressed by Reva and the owner because they never pressured me into going above my set price point and they were even able to get me a dress for less than I had hoped to spend! I had a really nice experience with Bridal and Veil and would highly recommend them to any bride who is looking for a dress! Thank you Bridal & Veil - You were all great!

Barbra and the rest of the staff was extremely welcoming , flexible and understanding. I am an out of state bride and they worked with my mother and i to make sure i had eve thing i needed to get my dream dress by my wedding day. Barbra was able to alter my gown within a few days after my final fitting. I had my final fitting on Monday, and was getting married on Friday. I was able to pick it up on Wednesday and it fit like a glove. i could not have been happier with my gown and the service we received.

Bridal and Veil made my wedding dress dreams come true! Not only did they have the perfect dress for me, but also the most Lovely staff. Sal and his team know how to meet a brides needs. How I heard about Bridal & Veil was through two separate accountancies who raved about the terrific prices, selection, and excellent customer service. I made an appointment here and at another bridal shop that day who had more of the "experience" of dress shopping (champagne, etc). I had a clear vision as to what style I wanted. I felt heard by my saleswoman and she also respectively steered me away from a style tried on but was definitely not working in my favor ;) Literally, the first dress I tried on was the one I ended up buying! I tried about 15 more in B&V and went to the other "experiential" shop which ended up being way too pricey and not as special as the first dress I tried on. My seamstress, Sophia, deserves 10 starts just by herself! She was so thorough and meticulous! My dress was all lace and with a silk lining that didn't cover my back, so the entire back of my dress was just lace with buttons down the length. The dress in my size was meant for a woman who is 5'7" and I am 5'4", so the length of fabric she had to make work was extensive. We did 5 fittings in total and she was so kind throughout the whole process! The dress was absolute perfection and I truly felt so gorgeous on my wedding day!
