When I started my wedding dress search, I honestly did not know what I was looking for. I was never one of those women who had a "dream" wedding dress in mind. Bridal Corner made my selection easy though. They were committed to helping me find the perfect dress, and they did! I'm so glad I went with this one. The beading and sparkles on the back, like honestly how could I not? It was perfect for me. I do wish someone had given me a heads up on how much the total alterations would cost me. You will find a BEAUTIFUL dress here, probably even your dream dress like I did. I just wish I had been given a more realistic description of how much the alteration costs would be, before I ended up spending almost an extra thousand on my dress than I had originally budgeted for. Whatever vendors you choose, do your full research and ask questions and know how much you'll be spending before you agree to spend it.

I went to bridal corner to get my wedding dress in November of 2021 and I had a great experience with Barbara. The dress I had tried on in November was really tight but they suggested I ordered that size so I said okay since they are the experts. The dress came in May and I went to try it on and it was way too tight. The owner Marissa told me that I could come back in a few weeks hinting that I could lose weight. Then I came back in July after trying to lose weight (which I shouldn't have had to do) and the dress zipped and I was so happy it zipped I didn't even realize how tight it still was so when I came back in October of 2022 to try the dress on a month before my wedding I was so uncomfortable and the back looked terrible. Marissa asked if maybe I was bloated and that I could come back in two weeks to try it on again. In my opinion, a professional in the wedding industry should never make a bride feel bad about her weight. Marissa was not helpful and did not have any real suggestions other than losing weight. She was nice until I voiced my concerns and she took no responsibility and was not helpful. I was so upset leaving that fitting in November I went to David's bridal on a whim and found a dress that actually fit and made me feel like how I should feel. It's pretty sad that a chain store had better customer service than a well known mom and pop bridal shop. I called bridal corner and told them I was no longer wearing the dress and they really didn't care. I went back in November to pick up my dress the day before my wedding and Marissa was nice until she asked if I wanted to try on the dress again and I said no I wasn't wearing it and I called to tell you guys that. And then she said that she told me to come try it on again and we could've done something then which in my opinion she should've been offering other solutions than just continuously coming back to try it on again. She also made it clear that they didn't take the dress in at all so basically it was my fault the dress didn't fit. My husband got his tuxes from bridal corner as well. We were told they come in the week of the wedding on Tuesday. My husband called Tuesday and they said they didn't come in and at this point we were starting to worry because there were some concerns that some of them were sized wrong. Thursday comes around and we are informed that they were held up with ups and they wouldn't come until Friday which was the day before the wedding. My husband was annoyed because Marissa wasn't understanding why people couldn't just come the day before the wedding to try them on because she could overnight stuff if they weren't right. Our rehearsal dinner was Friday and people work on Friday's so there was no way we could wait until then. Marissa was nice and came to our house because we were so unhappy and all the guys tried on their suits. She was nice until there was a problem once again. One suit was way too big and Marissa just kept saying that's how the suits fit. I insisted that he needed new pants cuz they were falling off his waist so she ordered the new pants even though she thought they were fine and my brother got the new pants and they still were too big and didn't fit right. My husbands pants were also way too big and they were practically falling off of him. I really hate leaving a review like this for a local business but I feel like if you work in the wedding industry customer service should be your number one priority.

Amazing business run by an amazing family! Marissa was so patient with me when I was trying on dresses. I must have tried on 10 dresses before she showed me the one I ultimately chose as mine. And if I'm being honest, when I saw the dress on the hanger I hated it! But once I tried it on, I fell in love. I am a plus sized bride, and they had tons of options for us curvy ladies. My dress came in much quicker than originally expected, it only took about three months to come in! I also had my boys get their suits from Ron's which is attached to Bridal Corner. The whole process was super easy!

I found an off the rack dress and added sleeves. I felt like the dress was missing something. The owner was able to find a lace that matched my dress and sleeves perfectly and was able to order it from. Tje manufacturers. It turned out perfect. There were cups sewn in so I didn't even have to worry about a bra !!

My experience from the minute I walked in - until I left was amazing. My consultant listened to what I wanted, found the dresses in my budget and found the dress that complimented my figure! I had been to 3 diff. shops and SHOULD HAVE COME HERE FIRST! I recommend the Bridal Corner to all of you brides to be! You can't go wrong!

My experience here was disappointing to say the least. I had a similar experience as the last review. I met with the gown consultant and we reviewed what I was looking for and what I wasn’t (for me that was avoiding glitz, glam, shimmer, heavily beaded). Every gown she pulled was full of glitz, glam, and shimmer. I felt as if I was being pushed to chose a different style dress than what I was looking for. What was really disappointing was the customer service from the gown consultant. After trying on gowns, I had found two potential options. Despite discussing my wedding is in over a year, she insisted I make a decision that day about choosing one of the dresses. Insisting that if I waited even just a week, the manufacturer may pull the dress from the line and I would no longer be able to obtain that dress. Or that I could potentially not get my gown in-time to have alterations made. As much as I appreciate the realistic information about wedding gown timelines, this was not the time or the place. I read this information on the website and am fully aware of this. I felt it was used to pressure me into a decision. The experience felt similar to used car shopping. Even if I found my dream dress here, I would not have moved forward with the purchase because of the service.

I would not recommend shopping here. I wasn't impressed with the selection (mostly beaded, glittery, ballgown style dresses) but the low rating is really because of the service. The attendant I had was extremely pushy and repeatedly told me I needed to order a dress that day to ensure it would arrive in time for alterations. When I told her I had an appointment at another bridal shop the following day she said that waiting one day to order could delay delivery for a week or more. When it was clear I wasn't going to order a dress the same day she tried to persuade me to buy a veil, a hair comb, and shoes... before I had settled on a dress and after I told her I didn't want a veil. Save yourself the trip and go to Beautiful Bride Boutique in West Boylston instead. The prices are comparable and the service is superior.

After a few unsuccessful and demoralizing trips to various bridal salons in CT, my mom, on a whim, booked us an appointment at The Bridal Corner, and I’m so glad she did! Since I didn’t have an exact vision for the style dress I wanted, Marissa let me try on countless dresses! What I loved and appreciated is how quickly we got down to business to find “the dress.” We didn’t spend 15-30 minutes in a dress I was only so-so about like I had at other salons which was refreshing. We quickly found a few favorites and later on narrowed down to my perfect dress. Best of all, it was very affordable without sacrificing quality and beauty! I didn’t even need any alterations except the bustle because of the precise measuring done by Marissa and her mom. I can’t recommend booking an appointment with The Bridal Corner enough! They are not only professional and personable but truly care for each of their brides!

I loved my wedding dress from Bridal Corner! Family owned business and they are absolutely wonderful to work with. My mother got her mother of the bride dress here as well. We were both very happy with our dresses and the service and the alterations were done in a timely manner.

I was incredibly impressed with the Bridal Corner, from selecting "the one" last November through two fittings. Everyone at the Bridal Corner is professional and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed working with Marissa. The dress was truly perfect - I highly recommend the Bridal Corner; you won't be disappointed!

The ladies at Bridal Corner had their work cut out for them when we won the NoHo Pride wedding giveaway with a short deadline. They got us in immediately and helped us find the dresses we love and made us truly radiant on our special day. I would highly recommend them.

Prior to going to the Bridal Corner, I had a terrible experience at another bridal salon in CT. I am beyond thankful that I decided to check out the Bridal Corner. The minute we walked into the Bridal Corner we were greeted, and the staff made us feel welcomed. The experience I had was more than I could have ever dreamed of because of our incredible bridal consultant, Terri C.! I was able to describe to her what I was looking for in a gown, and she was able to show me amazing gowns that matched my description. She treated me like I was the only bride-to-be and even assisted me with selecting bridesmaids dresses and a dress for my mother!! She was patient with my mother and I and did not rush us. The selection of bridal gowns at this store are amazing and unique. We will be going back for the groom and groomsmen tuxedos as well. I was able to ask several questions throughout my experience to Terri C. and Analia, and I did not feel bothersome to them. This is a place that wants you to feel comfortable and find your perfect bridal gown, as they genuinely care about you being happy on your special day. On top of the excellent consultant, bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and MOB/MOG dresses, the inside of the Bridal Corner is beautiful! Thank you to Terri C. for the amazing experience and helping me to say "yes" to the perfect dress. My mother and I were filled with joy when we left the Bridal Corner. I tried on A LOT of dresses on here! I'm a thicker girl (14) and had trouble at other places with trying on dresses. Here I had a ton of choices! Marissa was my consultant. She was attentive, patient and always honest with me. After trying on a ton of dresses I had found one online that I NEEDED to try on before I could say yes to the dress. The closest place that had it was Rocky Hill. I tried the dress on there and fell in love with it BUT, not exactly the bridal shop. I called Marissa and she said she could order it! They really jumped through hoops for me! Alterations are made there and they came out flawless. They even have a tux/suit shop attached, it's very convenient. I highly recommend Bridal Corner! Ask for Marissa! (Although all the other girls were pleasant as well!)

We went to Bridal Corner on a whim while browsing for bridesmaid dresses. Even without an appointment we were warmly welcomed and the staff was amazing! They answered all our questions, helped me zone in on exactly what I was looking for and were just a pleasure to shop with. Highly recommended!

This shop took me as a walk-in, which most will not do. During the time I was there, Marissa made me feel like the only bride to be in the store. I purchased my dress there and had alterations, and the dress was perfect. My attendants were able to find dresses there and the staff was great and gave us personal attention during the process. My husband and groomsmen also rented the tuxedos here. This is a great shop with personal service.

The entire staff at Bridal Corner was so helpful throughout the process of finding my wedding dress. They took the time during each appointment to make me feel comfortable and my dress turned out absolutely beautiful!

I went to Bridal corner after having gone to a few other stores where I didn't find what I wanted. The consultant that helped me (I believe her name was Marissa) really listened to me. Even though I wasn't really sure what I was looking for, she nailed it! pulled the most beautiful unique dress that was perfect for me! The staff were very nice every time I came in. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

I had an amazing experience with finding my bridal gown. Pam was excellent to work with, and very receptive to what I wanted to try. I found my gown within trying on about 8-10 dresses. My experience looking for bridesmaids dresses wasn't as great. I went in for my appointment with my bridesmaids, and was disappointed by a number of things. The size range for my girls to try dresses on was limited, which was upsetting for one of my bridesmaids. The consultant that we had (I don't remember her name) didn't seem very knowledgeable on what options were available in the style and color that I was looking for (I had a specific vision of lace on top with chiffon below the bust line, in royal blue-all of which the consultant was made aware of from the minute we walked in). She continued to tell me "don't pay attention to color, pay attention to style" when trying to find two style dresses -one for maid of honor, one for bridesmaids- and then when I finally did find two that I liked together, she told me that they don't come in the color that I wanted. On top of that, she said they actually didn't have any options for two materials in all royal blue, which should have been said as soon as I walked in and told her this is what I was looking for. I just felt like she should have had some knowledge of color availability for certain styles, rather than telling me not to pay attention to color. Overall, I was very pleased with my bridal appointment, but we ended up going elsewhere for the bridal party dresses.

I would give them 6 stars if i could. I told Monique what I wanted and she magically pulled an impossible request from the depths of the salon. Thank you for finding me my perfect dress at an amazing price.

I actually live in New York City, but my Aunt has a relationship with the former owner of Bridal Corner and made an appointment for me after Thanksgiving last year. We worked with Marissa and she was absolutely amazing! I showed her a picture of my dream dress and she had one that was just right on the money! She also had me try on a few different styles, which also looked good and could have been a great backup if my dream dress hadn't been located. I am plus-sized (wear a 12 in regular dresses) and Bridal Corner had so many styles for me to try that were so flattering. The rooms to try on dresses were big and the viewing area was spacious too! It just felt very caring and comfortable. (Note: I did not get my alterations done here, I brought the dress back to NYC for that) Also, my mom found her outfit for the wedding at Bridal Corner too. She got a pant suit outfit with a beautiful jacket. She was just glowing on the big day! And they did her alterations impeccably! Make this your first stop for your wedding gown - you won't need to go anywhere else!

There are not enough words to describe my wonderful experience with bridal corner! I live out of town and it was my first day trying on dresses. Bridal corner was my first stop, and although I found options I loved, I had to explore other options. After trying on what felt like 100 dresses, a certain dress kept coming to my mind. I called Bridal corner about 10 minutes before closing to see if I could go back and try on the dress, and knowing i was from out of town they said absolutely! And low and behold it ended up being the one! Right from the minute I walked in, they really made me feel special. Trying on dresses for the first time can be overwhelming, but their calm demeanor and expertise on the matter made me feel really comfortable. I found them to be such a help and they continue to be. The way I was treated and service I received played a huge part in my purchase at their shop. They even sent a personal follow up note in the mail!! I cannot wait until my dress comes in so I can continue working with them!! I absolutely recommend trying bridal corner for your dress!

From the moment I arrived at Bridal Corner, I knew that I was in the exact place I would find my gown. One visit, a handful of dresses, and I picked the first gown I put on! The staff is made up of true professionals, who saw my vision for my dream gown and put together the most perfect ensemble for my big day! My dress was an illusion top with a sheer back, and some work needed to be done on the back in order for it to fit properly. The seamstress did such an UNBELIEVABLE job tightening and reworking the back, no one would know it wasn't all the original applique. Thank you to Analia, Terry, and the wonderful ladies at Bridal Corner for making me feel beautiful on our big day!

I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful experience I had shopping for my wedding dress at The Bridal Corner. Vanessa was INCREDIBLE to work with. She made me feel right at ease, was conscious of my budget, and didn't pressure me at all. She was patient, kind, and thoughtful. She made all of my bridal party (there was a lot of us!) feel included while also allowing my opinion to be heard. Every single staff member we interacted with was pleasant, helpful, supportive, and enthusiastic. I walked out with the dress of my dreams by the designer of my dreams, AND it was UNDER BUDGET! Seriously, I love this place. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here!

Bridal Corner has a wonderful selection of high quality material and style dresses both on sale and full price. Moreover, BC has a wonderful and helpful staff, especially Maria, the seamstress. It has been a pleasure to shop at BC since the beginning due to the level of service and helpfulness provided by her. She was very excited for my day and even made me say "yes to the dress" :) It's been a wonderful experience to shop there due to service. My dresses were both in pristine condition the day of and were fitted like a glove. My very detailed ceremony gown had to be shrunk down from a size 12 to a size 2 and Maria did a wonderful job making it look like the dress was always that size. I would recommend Bridal Corner to any bride wanting to feel like a princess.

I had an amazing experience with the staff at Bridal Corner from start to finish, and am so pleased with how beautiful my gown turned out. As a bride who went in with a list of what I did and didn't want in a dress, they went out of their way to help me understand what would look best on me, and put me in the most incredible gown that was everything I THOUGHT I didn't want. The alterations were perfect and I looked and felt like a million bucks on my wedding day. I loved my dress, but I think it was a bit overpriced. I also bought a belt to go with it and that was very expensive. There are other shops that aren't as expensive. I realized that after.

I went to Bridal Corner after going to an expo last winter. I was told by the store at the expo that I needed to come in immediately and get a dress. My wedding was not until the end of November but because of this I became very anxious. When I attended my appointment I was told that I could not take pictures of me trying on the dresses - throughout my experience with Bridal Corner I was given three different reasons why they had this policy. That being said, I found a dress I really loved. I felt pressured to make a decision ASAP as I was told I had limited time. All that aside, I did love the dress and only went to one other store to try on only few dresses (who let me take pictures). I went back to bridal corner and bought the dress, I was so excited! It was perfect - mermaid style with lace and a sheer back. However, when the dress came in in August of this year - the dress was very different from what I had remembered, along with other people who attended my appointment with me. The back was completely different - still beautiful but it wasn't sheer. Also, the train was different. The overlay of the train now had a sheer gap at the end, When I asked the store about this, they said I was wrong. That I had tried on so many dresses I must be confused. In total I tried on about 7 dresses so I was somewhat offended. I called the store and arranged to go in to see the sample. When I went back in with my maid of honor to see the sample - they said it was "damaged" and not available. They tried to show me the catalogue of the picture of my dress but lets be serious - of course it was the same dress that they had ordered. In that moment - I decided, I can either flip out on them or I can be happy because the dress is beautiful and close enough to what I ordered. I decided to be happy and I was not going to write a review about how the shop really messed up and tried to tell me I was "confused". All that changed with the alterations though - I had to go in 3 times and the last time I went in, a week before the wedding, they had barely done anything. The seamstress told me not to worry they would take care of it before my next appointment. I told her she needed to do it now because I wasn't leaving without it. It was then done in 20 minutes. I was a little concerned also because the seamstress kept telling my maid of honor she should bring baby pins just in case my bustle broke. Mind you, the alterations were quite expensive - over $250 and they wouldn't press it unless I paid an additional $100. All is well that ends well, right? Well not exactly. My bustle never even bustled because the buttons that were put on weren't sewed on - they were glued on. My bridesmaids and I certainly used some expletives when we realized what had happened. I had to pin with safety pins my dress - which continued to break throughout the night. In fact, I had to asked female guests who were in the bathroom with me throughout the night to help me pin it. I'm not a person to complain - in fact, I think I went above and beyond to be understanding and easy going with the shop. But I paid a significant amount of money and was sorely disappointed with the service and results of my dress - a dress that was for the most important day of my life thus far. I will remember that day very fondly but unfortunately I spent way too much time in the bathroom trying to make a bustle myself on a dress I never even ordered. I would advise any bride not to go to Bridal Corner

The own was beautiful! The seamstress forgot to put a hook and eye on my dress so day of we were sowing one on. (this was not fun!)

I walked into the shop with 2 other brides. We were all on relatively conservative budgets ($1000+/-), but excited to be shopping for our gowns together. As soon as we walked in, they were short with us and very pushy. It felt as if we were at a car dealership. Even this is an insult to car sales. We all felt so pressured to immediately purchase a dress, and none of us were told that it was okay to think about what we wanted, even though that was our wish. All three of us ended up with gowns that we really weren't excited about, and when we set up payment plans, the store called and harassed us, despite our files having a clear date on them for final payment. The calls came in MONTHS before the final payment, and we were also told that we needed to pick up our gowns immediately. When I went to pick my gown up, the OWNER said to me, "when you take this out of here, if you bring it back because you can't find a seamstress, you are no longer a priority, and you may not get your dress back in time for your wedding." This store made me cry at least 3 times. And NOT ONCE was it out of joy. I sold them 3 dresses, and it was very clear from day one that I was "not a priority."

I love this place, I got my wedding dress, all my bridesmaids and my moms dress. They all came in on time, the alteration were done nicely and on time as well.

I purchased the gown of my dreams and it was worth every penny.

I bought my wedding dress here and I got a great deal on it. The staff was very helpful. The only complaint is my bridesmaids got their dresses here too and they weren't pressed. They received them very wrinkly and had to get them pressed at the cleaners before the wedding.

I liked Bridal Corner where I got my dress. The day I went to try it on was great, the girl who assisted me was excellent and nice and helped me realize the dress I really wanted. There was one woman there that wasn't all too friendly and did two of my fitting. I would recommend them except for that one woman.

BEautiful dress and great alterations

As an older bride who was getting married for the second time, I was looking for a dress that would be age appropriate yet elegant. They carried a large selection of dresses and finding the perfect one was made easy as the owner and her staff showed me exactly what I was looking for. Alterations went smoothly, and mt dress fit perfectly. My duaghter, my maid of honor, also got her dress there and it too was perfect. They even have a tuxedo rental store attached which made matching colors very easy. The guys were measured and their tuxes looked great!

I knew what dress I wanted 2years before I was even married. I had forgotten about the dress I found online and then saw that it was going out of stock. I found my dream dress at Bridal Corner who has a great stock of bridal dress especially Maggie Sottero who is my fav designer. Not a great selection of bridesmaid dresses but prices are reasonable and service is good

I purchased my hair comb and the women that helped mt pick it out was patient and wonderful. Although, my hair piece broke during my trial hair appointment. When I called the women over the phone said she did not think there was anything she could do for me and they are not responsible for anything that leaves the store. I spent quite a bit of money, I spent 150 and found the same item online for 80.00! Hairpiece was final sale at Bridal Corner. I brought it in and the women said my hair dresser broke it, I told her that for that money this should not happen.She was passive aggressive when I picked up the hair piece. They ended up fixing it, never called me when it came in, did not charge me. Although all the grief and rudeness not worth it. I would never recommend that place!

I went wedding dress shopping with a friend who was getting married four months before me. She found this place so we set an appointment. Even with our appointment, there weren't any dressing rooms open for us. I understand walk-ins happen & business is business, but I think we should have had priority. We had a rather large group with us, so we volunteered to take a sewing room that was unused - not exactly how I pictured trying on wedding dresses, but it worked. Though we both tried on what seemed like a billiion dresses, neither of us were able to find one we liked. I wanted something somewhat traditional, but everything that was brought out to me seemed out-dated. The service was good, but I wouldn't recommend this shop to any friends.

I shopped at a few places before going to Bridal Corner, including shops in Boston and NYC. Bridal Corner has a great selection at very reasonable prices!! Staff is great, very friendly and helpful!

Happy with overall experience, but service varies based on the employee that helps you. Some would be "5 star", others not so much.

I was looking for my perfect wedding dress but didn't want to go broke buying one. I looked around at a few places and ended up at the Bridal Corner. I tried on about 20 dresses and then just as I was about to walk out, one of the ladies at the shop coaxed me into trying on this one last dress. I did and guess what - it was the one! It was perfect! Come to find out, it was a dress I actually doggie eared in my Brides magazine. It was a destination Maggie Sottero gown - grecian style, one shoulder with flowers. I loved it for our outdoor garden wedding! During the course of the year I went back to try it on, get it fitted, etc. They were all super nice and always accommodating. I guess the word wouldn't be abrasive, but they were HONEST. What every bride needs! My dress was perfect for my wedding day - pressed and all. I even bought a veil the last minute that they steamed for me on the spot and let me take home. The only thing I found to be a little crazy was the alterations, cup additions, and the steaming was almost $300 (almost half the cost of my dress!) However, I must say it was worth every penny. These ladies know what they are doing! My dress was perfect on my wedding day.

I really loved my wedding dress. It was everything I wanted. I had a couple problems with them tho. After my first payment, everything else had to be cash. Final payment, alterations payment, and even the rental of the petty coat. I went to pick up my dress and no one told me my petty coat payment had to be cash. I didn't have cash on me so I had to come back the next day to pick up my dress and petty coat rental. It was just a little bit of an inconvience. Wouldn't go there again

Wonderful staff. Prices are very good. Very pleasant people to work with.

I felt a little pressured looking at gowns there

I loved my dress so much, and the fit/alterations were perfect! The girls dresses were beautiful and fit them so well also! Although we ran into a few problems along the way such as shoes being on back order, or not having enough time to dye them. They placed rush orders on them and didnt make us pay the extra. And everything worked out perfect in the end. Everyone was so nice and helpful, especially the owner! The selection of dresses and price ranges are also very large, which was great.

I made and appointment and was quickly shown an array of dresses. They were helpful in listening to what I wanted and helped me pick out a beautiful dress. It was a good price as well. It was flitted wonderfully and the bustle worked well, nothing broke or gave me hassles. The only hitch was having to pay cash for alterations (I had cups built in since it was a strapless dress). Otherwise the dress and help were excellent.

Bridal Corner has A LOT of dresses to look through. Making appointments to try on dresses was very easy to do. I was there for almost 3 hours my first time! The prices were very reasonable and they alter them on sight for you.;The Bridal Corner decorations look a little out dated. They do not carry many big name brands for bridesmaids dresses.

We are a gay couple and they were very taken back by this. The service was terrible once they discovered this fact

Although I purchased a sale dress, they still took as much time with me as if I was purchasing one for $1000.

They treat you like a princess. The have a wonderful wide selection. THey accessorize every dress you try on to give you the total feel. Very kind staff.
